Confronting Priests

I had a long day of witnessing to gangs and it was about four in the afternoon. I stopped by a sub sandwich place to get a sandwich and picked up a big gulp at 7-Eleven. I stopped by a park to rest and eat my sandwich. As I was about to sit down on a picnic table, my King said, “Sonny, look over to the right. I want you to pray for those nuns over there.” I really was tired and I was wanting to eat my meal first then go over and do that . Then my King said, “Stop looking at your food and go over there and pray for those nuns.” I left everything on the table and I went over to prayed for them. They were standing in a circle holding hands like they were already praying. I found an opening in their group and I went inside and laid hands on each one. The Holy Spirit revealed things about each one of the nuns to me as I prayed for each one of the 12 nuns. They almost appeared to me like they were part of a cult then a church. The oldest one there was 24 years old. None of them had freedom in Jesus Christ. I gave them a copy of my ministry cards and told them to call me when they are ready to have Jesus Christ set them free.

I went back to the table to eat the food I left on it. Before I got back, a homeless couple came by and noticed the food sitting there. The sandwich was still wrapped and the drink had the straw in it. I had taken one sip before I left it. They were extremely hungry and they probably checked to see if it was anybody’s meal but nobody was around. They did not want it to go to waste so they decided they would eat it. They were not concerned that somebody might have drank off the cup. When I came back, I found them eating it. I do understand now why God wanted me to leave right away because he knew this homeless couple was hungry. It blessed them very much that they were able to eat my sandwich. I said, “My King asked me to leave it for you because he knew you would be coming.” I introduced myself and shared more things about Jesus Christ with them. It is amazing how often when I’m off doing one thing for the Kingdom of God over here, my King is blessing people where I was. I may never know completely until I meet him on how much of this that goes on.

It was to become amazing. Late that night, all the nuns started calling one by one to give their lives to Jesus Christ. I prayed over the phone with each one as they were giving their hearts to Jesus Christ. Soon the next one would call and I would do the same thing until I reached all of them. After receiving Jesus Christ into their lives, they all went home to their parents to begin their new lives in Christ. This transition was not going to be easy.

The nuns called me again and told me their priests have been calling them up and threatening them to return. The priests lied to them and told them that they are going to go to hell if they don’t come back. They also told me that the priests had been touching them inappropriately. This infuriated me with what they were doing to them. I found out where the priests meet and I went there personally to speak with them. I went into the Catholic church and was directed into a room where they were meeting. I think that they were burning something in the room but it smelled like infected feet and body odor. I said, “I need to talk to you but it smells bad in here.”

They responded, “We are burning incense to God.”

I said, “My King also thinks it stinks and does not like it either.” They did get up and walk out of the room with me and we to another part of the church. One of the priests spoke up, “What can we do for you my Son?”

I sternly said, “I am not your Son just as you are not my Father. Mathew 23:9 says And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. I also notice that you show Jesus hanging on the Cross. That Cross has been empty a long time because our King is alive. We can come to him anytime. He is our high priest capable of forgiving our sins and meditating for us to the Father. The Virgin Mary and Saint Peter are dead and cannot hear anything one has to say to them. They both are in heaven with our King like the other apostles.” The priest looked at me bewildered. I then said, “Do you guys even know if your names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? ” Again they looked at me bewildered. I then continued and asked, “Are you guys good swimmers?”

The did answer this question and said, “We are good swimmers.”

I said, “Until you give your hearts over to Jesus Christ, you are going to be spending a lot of time swimming in the Lake of Fire.” All the priests left to report me to the Bishops except for one. He introduced himself as “Paul”. He then confided, “I feel what you are saying is true. The Catholic Bible doesn’t give us the whole picture who God is. I feel it is important that I give my life over to Jesus Christ.” I began praying over Paul for his salvation. Meanwhile 11 Bishops came out of their meeting room and stood around us while I was praying over Paul’s salvation. They were getting angry with me and said, “If you do not leave, we are going to call the cops on you.”

I said, “You do that. I know all the cops.” I then looked towards Paul and looked back at them and said, “Paul’s name is now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Do you know if any of your names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life?” They then asked, “What do you mean about are our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”

I said, “If you don’t know what I am talking about, then they probably are not. You then also need to turn your lives over to Jesus Christ.” Anger flared up in me and I said, “If you and the priests don’t leave those girls who left you alone, I am going to come into your church during one of your services. I’m going to stand up and I’m going to tell the truth about my King to your whole congregation.” The bishops turned around and got away from me as quickly as he could.

You would think that being priests that they would already know Jesus Christ but there are so many pastors and churches that don’t promote a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Many do not acknowledge him at all. This is sad that this is going on. I have heard from people who God gave them a chance to see hell. They have reported seeing former pastors there. Just as bad is that when Christ returns he will be leaving many pastors behind. At least they will have time to think about it and change but they will have to endure the wrath of the tribulation. Jesus Christ said that he is the way, the truth and the life and no one can come to the Father except through him. He also said for those who are embarrassed or deny me on Earth, I will be embarrassed or deny them in front of the Father. Jesus gave us an amazing gift when he died on the cross for us. Let us gladly accept his gift and put value in that gift by being obedient to him.

This story does have a happy ending. The nuns are on fire for Jesus Christ and are taking the truth to other nuns. Paul has found new energy in Christ and his testimony is only going to make the church better for our King. My King gets the the Glory and the the Victory.

Human Trafficking Busted for Jesus

It is Thursday night and I was getting ready to go to the highway Patrolmen Bible study. My King said, “Sonny, take your best suit and your good shoes with you. Again I did not see the picture my King saw. I should have been excited that my King was going to do something tonight with that was important. Instead, I said to myself, “I don’t wear a suit while doing the Bible studies and ministries on the street. Other than being uncomfortable, people might think it strange seeing me wearing a suit.” I did not question my King’s request anymore. I proceeded put my suit and my good shoes in my pickup and headed off to Denver.

When I started the highway patrol in Bible study, I said, “My King requested me to bring my suit down here tonight. It is in my pickup right now and have not been given reason for bringing it here.” As I kept talking to them, Fourteen undercover cops came into the room. They said, “Sonny, we I need to talk to you privately.”

I said, ” You know these guys in this room. Whatever you can say to me can be said in front of them.”

They then said, “The head guy of the highway patrol recommended you to us. We need a volunteer to play a part in a sting. Your job would be in to deliver a suitcase of cash to the organization that is trying to sell 52 kids. The bust is going down in two hours.” The reason why none of that undercover police wanted to do this was the fact that either they will have to quit their job or they will have to move to another state.  This type of undercover work makes it so you never will be involved in field work again.  You have a good chance of being recognized in future projects.  Earlier in the day, the Holy Spirit revealed to the head man of the highway patrol to ask me to do this job. He knows me really well and has seen me face drug cartels. My King hates the abortion that’s going on in America and human trafficking is next on his list for things he hates. My King gave me permission to do it.

I said, “I will do it.” The highways patrolmen were encouraging me to go for it. I had Steve take over the Bible study for me.

They then said, “This is great but we only have an hour to get you a suit that fits.”

I said, “Don’t worry about that. My King had me put my suit in the pickup.” They all looked at me dumbfounded when I told them I already had my suit with me. One of these days they will not be surprised when my King prepares for an upcoming event that I do not even know about myself. He has been revealing himself to these guys many times through me. They had people there that can make you look like anyone. I needed to look the part. After they finish with me, I looked like one tough dude. They put me in a nice Cadillac and they gave me four men as my body guards. They were all built like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime. They would be the ones that would be handling the money. We drove the Cadillac to where the bust was to go down on Colfax Avenue. When we stopped, my King had me put my sunglasses on. He was certain that I would become emotional when I saw the kids in the condition that they had them in. With the sunglasses on, I got out of the car with my body guards. I noticed that guns were not drawn on either side. The leader said, “What’s up with the sunglasses?”

I sternly said, “It is none of your business.”

The leader said, “I like to see the eyes of those who I do business with.”

I sternly replied, “My eyes want to see the merchandise before I do business with someone.” My bodyguards held the cash until I signaled for it. The leader waved me towards the kids. There were boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18. Most were kidnapped from the streets but some were homeless. Most of them looked older than then there actual age. Traffickers look for good looking children. They bring a lot more money. They were semi drugged to keep them compliant. I tried to focus on my anger with the traffickers for what they did to these children. Compassion for these children would be a dead give away to them. I was fairly far away from the leader and whispered to the kids to drop when signaled. Somebody undercover in the organization had the kids prepared for this moment. I later found out that all their parents were notified earlier to come get their kids after the bust. I continue to inspect all the kids like I was trying to buy livestock. After I inspected the last kid, I began walking back to the leader. I began to feel like I was being watched and I was about to look up. My King said, “Keep your eyes down.” When I got near the leader, I signaled my body guards to bring the suit case. I then said, “I will take them”. The bodyguards handed over the closed suitcase to the leader. The leader put the suitcase down on the car and opened the suitcase. The minute he did that, 18 undercover cops drop from the ceiling carrying automatic weapons that I have never seen before. We were all told to freeze. No one fired a single shot. My King had everything running smoothly.

All of us were arrested for taking part in this bust. They threw me on the ground and got my suit dirty. They proceeded to put me in handcuffs. They did the same thing to my bodyguards. We had to make sure that no suspicions were aroused. We were put in different vehicles then the other organization. We bumped fists as they locked us up. One of my bodyguards said, “You were just like Al Capone. It is like you have done this before.”

I said, “My King gave me the words to speak. He gets the Glory and Victory.” The bust took place in the building owned by the traffickers. The owner is going to lose everything for what he has done. After the traffickers were hauled off, they released us. They had a greyhound bus come for them. I rode with them to talk with them. I walking back and forth praying with all of them. They were talking about how they felt as they were being rescued. I shared with them who I was and I shared with them that Jesus Christ loved them very much and wanted to get them out of this situation. As I continued praying for them, my King said, “Sonny, make arrangements to baptize them.”

We went to a safe place where the parents were already waiting for them. I immediately told the undercover police that I need a swimming pool to baptize the kids. They immediately located pool for me to use. The children all found there parents and began hugging them. I prayed with the parents also. Both the parents and the kids gave there hearts to Jesus Christ here. I said, “Now we need to get everyone baptized.” My prayer team helped to comfort them and helped me baptize all of them it took about an hour and half. I spent the rest of the night answering questions, praying and comforting people. There was a lot of joyfull crying going on. It was so cool seeing the parents reunite with their kids. I did not get any sleep that night. I left for work and arrived 40 minutes before I was supposed to start. I am running on King energy. This is an experience that I will always remember. I am honored that my King included me in this event. On the outcome of what happened, he gets the Glory and the Victory. I too will never be able to do this again because of my chance of being recognized.

Longest Red Light Ever

I prayed with the undercover police on Friday night. After I was finished, my King had me go out and witness on the street. My King has me spending a lot of time doing street ministry on Colfax Avenue. When I reached University and Colfax in Denver, the light changed red. I stopped for the light. There was a guy standing on the street corner. He came running out towards me with a pistol and placed the gun barrel against my window. I noticed that the other people who were stopped at the light just took off and ran the light. He was shouting something but I could not make out what he was saying. I rolled my window down and asked, “What do you need?”

He said, “Get out of your pickup. I want to shoot you.” This is not the first time something like this has happened. Looking back, some guy with a sawed-off shotgun made the same request. I just humored him and noticed the square cut. I said, “Did you cut that barrel off yourself?” He said, “Yes I did. I used a hacksaw.” I said, “Man, you did a good job of cutting it square using just a hacksaw.” In the process of telling on how good a work he did, he kind of lost interest in shooting me. So I am experienced with this kind of behavior on the streets.

I said, “Well, before you shoot me can I pray for you? After I pray for you, then you can shoot me.” I caught him off guard but he did let me pray for him. I began to pray for him and reveal the things that the Holy Spirit shared with me about his life. After I finished praying, I said, “Okay, now you can shoot me.” He just stared at me. Then all the sudden, he just dropped his pistol.

He said, “I can’t shoot you especially after what you just did for me.” He continued to looked at me. He then said, ” I cannot believe how cool you were when I was holding the pistol and threatening your life.”

I said, “My King determines what day I’m going to die. You cannot change that. If he allowed you to kill me, I do know where I’m going and I am going to live in his kingdom. My King brought you to me tonight. He loves you very much and wants your heart” I found out that his name was Luke. Luke has been on the street for three and a half years. He has been robbing and stealing whatever it takes to make any money. I can tell Luke hasn’t been near a shower for a long time because he really did smell bad.

Luke asked, “Do you have anything to drink?” I had stopped at a convenience store to picked up a large Coke for myself earlier.

I said, ” I have a Coke that you can have. I also have a couple of burritos if you are hungry.”

Luke said, “The Coke will be fine and I am hungry. ” As Luke begins eating the burritos and drinking the Coke, he asked, “Do you think my parents would let me come back home?”

I said, “Let’s just call them.” I gave him my cell phone to use so he could dial his parents. His dad answered the phone and Luke said, “This is Luke Dad. I’m wondering if I can come home.” He briefly told his parents what he just done. I could hear his Dad shout to Luke’s Mom that Luke was on the phone. Luke’s parents were ecstatic that their son was coming home. Luke asked me if I would take him home. I agreed that I would. When Luke climbed into my pickup, the light turned green. It gave me the time I needed to witness to Luke. It really smelled bad inside my pickup. My King gave me the endurance to make the trip to his house. Even as Luke left my pickup, my King began deodorizing my pickup. We both went into his home where the parents hugged him. He unloaded his pistol and gave it to his Dad.  His mom immediately went to get a towel for Luke. He smiled and immediately grabbed the towel to take a shower. I talked with the parents about who I was while he was showering. They revealed to me that they were both Christians and that they have been praying fervently for their son Luke to come back. When he came back into the room, I prayed for the family and talked more about how awesome our King is. My King gets the the Glory and the the Victory.

Cigarette Burn Becomes Victory for Jesus

It is Friday evening and as usual I meet with the undercover police. One of their biggest concerns is for the people fighting all the wildfires here in Colorado. They wanted to pray for the safety of the fire fighters and for the families of those involved. All my Bible studies this week have involved praying for the firefighters. They all made the request to me to do this. Of course moisture in the mountains is a must in our prayers. This would really help out our firefighters.

After finishing up with the undercover police, I rescued five girls out of a gang and brought them back to their families. After seeing the transformation of their daughters, all their families gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory.

Saturday morning, my King had me rescue five more women from an organization. I also brought them back to their families who all met at one home. I prayed for all of them after the girls greeted their parents. My King then directed me to focus on two gangs. One of them I know but the other one I don’t know. My King had me get tacos for them to eat. They pushed me around at first but when they found out that I was going to feed them tacos they stopped. Today they were very interested in eating because they were hungry. They left me alone except for one guy in the gang that I have met before. He said, “I do not want to hear you say anything about Jesus Christ.” He continued to push me around. His leader sternly said, “Hey, knock it off. Leave Sonny alone. He wants to feed us. He can talk about Jesus.” The guy left the scene for a while and walked around for a few minutes. He then came back towards me with a lit cigarette in his hand. He walked right up to me and stuck the cigarette right on my lip while I was reading the gospel to the gang. It did hurt but I continued reading. The leader was extremely upset with the guy. He ordered his men to grab the guy and tie him up. His men proceeded to haul him off. I’m not sure what they did with him but he was not welcome here in the gang anymore.

Eight guys from the first Gang and four guys from the second gang gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory

It is now late afternoon and I’m going to witness to another Gang that just showed up here at the park. As I was ready to finish this story the guy who burned me called. He said, “I have been thinking about what you said and I need a new direction in my life and Jesus Christ to become part of it. I hope that you can forgive me for burning you with that cigarette like I did.”

I replied, “I forgave you the day you burned me with it. My King has forgiven me for the bad things I have done. He has taught how important it is to love and forgive others. ” I prayed for him as he accepted Jesus Christ. He wanted to go home and asked me if I could take him there. I acknowledged that I would. When we got there with his family, I prayed with them too. My King gets the Glory and the Victory.

At the end of the day, the Latinos call me. They witnessed a police officer getting beaten up by a gang from Mexico. He said, “Normally, if we see someone getting beaten up, we keep on driving.  But we have too much respect for our law enforcement officers.  So we stopped and got out of our cars. We immediately beat the Mexican gang up bad because of their action. When the cops did eventually arrived,  they wanted me to  give a statement.  I said I don’t do statements and I left.”  I always wondered how the Latinos handle themselves so well. I found out that most of them are Golden Glove boxers.

Black Mafia Questions Me

It is Friday night and before God had me go out in the streets, I ministered to the undercover police for emotional guidance. They were forced to witness something that should never been allowed to happen. After I finished with these amazing men, my King had me go witness out in the streets. He directed me to a nicer place on Colfax Avenue. Is was about 11 p.m. and he wanted my to talk about Jesus Christ and how much he loves them to a group of prostitutes. As I was sharing the gospel with the prostitutes and praying for them, a Black Mafia guy was watching me. He got out of his car but did not have his weapon drawn as he approached me. The prostitutes immediately lined up behind me. They later told me that they hate these guys and they did not want anything to do with them. He asked, “How can you stay so cool sharing Jesus Christ with them? You could be killed anytime even by one of us.”

I said, “I have prepared my life to be in God’s Kingdom. I know where I am going when I die. As I see you now, I will see him immediately if my King allows me to be killed. You to should be concerned where you are going. Have you ever thought about where you would be going if you would die today? We are never promised tomorrow.”

He said, ” I will probably go to hell with all my friends.” The way he answered the question gave me the impression that he was not too concerned about what hell is like.

I said, ” You do not want to go to hell. There you will not see anybody that you know. All you will hear is the weeping and gnashing of teeth. My King does not want to see anyone perish. This may be the last chance that you may have to accept Jesus Christ into your life. I am here today to help you make that choice. But if you do not do it today, you may never see me again or have the opportunity to see my King.”

He did think about what I said but was not ready to give his life to Jesus Christ. He said, “I will see you later.” I am praying that my King gives him more time to come to Jesus. The prostitutes for sure were glad that he was gone. Soon the prostitutes pimp showed up. He did not approve of me being there. The last time we met I claimed Jesus Christ over him and he ran. There is a lot of power in that name. He only stared at me for a few minutes but ran again.  The prostitutes thanked me for sharing Jesus Christ with them. I gave each one a Ministry card and said call me if you ever want to get out of this situation. It was almost 3AM when I finished on the streets. My King has more plans for me tomorrow.

Resting by University Hospital

Saturday had me witnessing to a gang of 28 guys and 22 girls. This is one of the biggest gangs here in Denver. I took 12 dozen donuts and drinks to them. Out of 50 present 15 (8 Girls and 7 Guys) of them gave their hearts to Jesus Christ God gets all the Glory and the Victory.

Brother and Sister are United

My King asked me to see two new gangs in Denver last Saturday. He said, “Sonny, they are going to be hungry. Pickup twelve pizzas and thirty cheeseburgers. Make them with extra mustard on them. Some of the gang members do not like pizza.”

I headed to the park after picking up the cheeseburgers and pizza and started talking to the gangs. These gangs usually fight with each other but they were more curious about me. They had their pistols drawn on me. They always ask the same question, “What are you doing here?” Some of them started pushing me around but they weren’t really bad. I explained to them, “I am here because my King Jesus Christ told me that you are hungry and he wants me to tell you how much he loves you. I brought pizza and cheeseburgers made just the way you like them.”

One leader said, “You made them the way we like it. You don’t even know us.” They checked the pizzas to see what I had. They could not believe it.

I said, “I may not know you but my King knows you very well.” I noticed some checking out the cheeseburgers. I then said, “They all have extra mustard on them. ” I could see that bewildered look on their face, “How did he know what I liked?” It is always spooky to them when my King gives their likes and dislikes. It gives me another avenue of sharing God’s word with them.

Then one gang leader said, “If you’re going to feed us, I will definitely listen to what you have to say about Jesus.”

I said, “Let’s eat.” When I said those two words they all put their pistols away. We then sat down and I prayed for the food. I began praying for each one. All of the sudden a girl, whose name is Sarah, in one gang recognized her brother in the other gang. They have not seen each other in three years. She shouted out his name. He looked toward the other gang to see who was calling his name. As he began to recognize her, he shouted, “Is that you Sarah?”

She shouted back, “Yes, it is me.” She proceeded to go over to meet him. They both began hugging each other. When they realized how much they missed each other, they wanted to accept Jesus Christ into their lives.” Both gangs were poor. After they both accepted Jesus Christ, I noticed the poor condition of the brothers tennis shoes. I usually keep a extra pair of tennis shoes in my pickup just in case my feet get wet and I need to change. My King told me that our shoe sizes are the same and that I should give him that pair of tennis shoes that I had. I went over to my pickup to get my tennis shoes out and I walked over to the brother. I said, “My King wants to give you a pair of tennis shoes for your feet. Here you go.” He put them on and they fit him just fine. I took both of them home to their parents. There I had a chance to pray for them also and for the families as a whole. No other gang member gave their lives to Jesus Christ today. No worries though. I planted seed into their lives. My King will reign victorious.

Feeding Two Gangs For Jesus

It was Saturday morning and my King wanted me to see two gangs that I have seen before. He told me to get 7 dozen donuts, orange juice and milk for the day. I picked up the supplies I needed at King Soopers. From there, I went to the park to meet the gangs. They were not there yet. I went ahead set up my tailgate with food. As I finished up, I saw 14 Black Cadillacs show up right next to me. I said, “Oh no.” I know that this is the Black Mafia. They do not like me because my King wants their work force for his Kingdom. They stopped by me and got out of their car with their pistols drawn. They began eyeing my donuts. They said, “These donuts belong to us.” They proceeded to load them up in their cars and took off with them. I asked if they needed anything to drink and they said, “No, we just want our donuts.” After they were gone, I said, ” I guess I’ll have to go back and get some more donuts.” I left to get more for the gang l was supposed to meet. When I got back, the gang leader Jorge said,” Aren’t you kind of late?”

I said, “The Black Mafia stopped by and took my first batch of donuts. I needed to go back and get some more donuts for you.”

Jorge said, “Oh man, I wish I would have been here. I would have shot them.”

I said, “You don’t need to do that. They’re only donuts.”

Jorge said, “It’s not the donuts I’m worried about. It just the principal of it all. My stomach was hungry and they were interfering with my stomach. So they deserve to be shot.” I kind of laughed at his response. I served them the donuts, orange juice and milk. We had a good time. Then Jorge asked, “In that Ten Commandments movie, Moses brought the Ten Commandments down from the mountain. When he saw the people worshipping the golden calf, Moses threw the tablets on the ground and broke them. Was God mad at him for doing that?”

I said, “Yes, he was mad.”

Jorge said, “You know if I was God I probably would have shot Moses for doing that.”

I said, “My God is a loving God and he just had Moses go back up into the mountains to have the tablets redone.”

Then Jorge asked, “Isn’t that stupid that people would, after seeing God part the Red Sea, would want to worship a statue.” I kind of laughed again and I said, “You are right.” Jorge asked few more questions but then he said, “Sonny, I have to get going.” He turned around and immediately left the park.

That afternoon God had me get Tacos for Raphael’s gang. As I walked up to Raphael, he had his gun drawn on me. He said, “Did you bring us tacos?”

I said, “You know Raphael that water pistol would feel good in this heat. You have my permission to shoot me.”

Raphael said, “No man. I don’t want to get you wet.” To keep from getting me wet, he just shot me in the face. Then he proceeded to shoot at his men. They were all having a good time getting each other wet.

I then said, “I apologize, but I did spill a little bit of gas on my hands. My hands kind of stink.”

Excitedly Rafael said, “We just filled up with gas too. But the strangest thing happend there. There was this old guy who drove a 39 Coupe. He said that he wanted to buy gas for all of our cars. It was weird being there. We had all the pumps to ourselves. He walked in and had the attendant activate all the pumps. We all filled our cars at the same time.”

I asked, “Did this man wear a pinstripe jacket and gangster looking hat?”

Raphael said, “Yeah, that’s the dude.”

I said, “Yep, that’s Noah.”

Raphael said, “After Noah paid for our gas, he said, ‘Boys, Sonny is going to have tacos ready when you get there. You have a blessed day.'” That Noah, he is always helping me out. Then I prayed for the food. As the boys sat down to eat I talked about Jesus to them. It is always easy to talk about my King when their mouths are full. I got off topic and started describing about Blue Mustang giving me sweet corn. Raphael said, “That sounds so good. I remember as a child having grilled sweet corn on summer afternoons.” At that moment, my King said, “Sonny, you need to go get him some sweet corn. I said, “You see that grill over there. You just watch it. I will be back” I was going to get charcoal to put in the grill but Raphael does not like charcoal and would gather wood to make the fire. I went over to King Soopers and picked up three dozen ears of sweet corn. Two of Raphael’s girls walked up and asked me where I was going. They were excited when I told them that I was going to go get sweet corn. I noticed that they were having problems keeping their hair together so I decided I would also pick up some of those hair clips for their hair. I came back and gave the hairclips to the girls. They were excited about getting the clips. Then I took the sweet corn over to the grill that the gang was watching. They went out and cleaned up the whole park getting all the dead wood they could find. We lit the wood on fire and begin roasting sweet corn on the grill. I didn’t realize that there was a fire ban in place. Some of the park rangers came over to chew us out. When they started complaining about our fire, the gang drew their pistols and pointed them at the rangers. They decided that it was now okay for us to continue roasting the corn.

Rico was one of Raphael’s lookout men. He takes his job seriously. He does not say a word and he continuously watches the surroundings for danger. I decided that I would cut some of the corn off the cob and put it on a plate and take some to him so that he would not have to get his hands dirty it just in case he would have to draw his pistol. He took the plate from me and said, “Thanks man.” They all we’re just having a great time eating sweet corn. All three dozen ears were consumed.

That Saturday I witnessed to both Rafeal and Jorge. Both leaders asked me to pray for them before they drove away. I could tell that they were interested on maybe giving their hearts to our King. Some of the gang members had already given their hearts to Jesus Christ. They immediately went back with their families. Saturday night Rafael called me first followed by Jorge. They asked me to meet with them Sunday morning. I went back to the same park to meet them. When I got there, all their families were there with them. They were waiting for me to pray with them. Both leaders introduced me to their families. It was beautiful because some of the family members had their Bibles. You could tell that they were already Christians. They hugged me while they were crying. It was such a beautiful moment. God is so faithful. They began asking me a bunch of questions about the ministry. They thanked me for never giving up on their sons and daughters. They said, “Because of your persistence, they want to give their hearts to the Lord.”

I said, “Our King never gives up on us. So how can I give up on them either.” We began praying. They asked Jesus to forgive them of their sins and to live in their hearts. They all began crying again. Both gangs all gave their lives to Jesus Christ. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory.

Anointing Mustangs

It was Friday night and I was out witnessing on the streets. Lorenzo, of the Latino gang, came up to me and said, “Sonny, you have to anoint our cars again. We were sitting there minding our business and suddenly a car drove by that was shooting at us. We could see them shooting and hear all the shots going off but we did not hear any bullets whiz by us. After they left, we went and inspected our Mustangs and none of them received bullet holes in them.” A while back I anointed their Mustangs. They always keep their cars in mint condition as though they are going to be taking them to a car show. At first, they did not want me to put that oil on their cars but I told them this will protect you and your automobiles in case somebody would want to harm you. Lorenzo finally gave in but he highly doubted that would work. He said, “I will believe it when I see it.”

A few weeks later, they had a chance to witness the awesome power of my King. I saw their vehicles parked in area of the park I was going to witness at. I was about to stop and talk to them but my King said, “Sonny, do not park here or you will die. Go to the other side of the park.” Like I sometimes do, I questioned God saying, “The Latinos are here and they would not allow anything to happen to me.” I never went further than this thought so I did as my King asked me to. As I got parked, I turned my stereo on and played some “Kingdom Music”. The Latinos could hear my music playing. Lorenzo said to his boys, “Sonny did not stop and talk to us. I wonder if anything is wrong. Let’s let’s go over and talk to him and see what’s up.” They all got into their Mustangs and drove over to where I was parked. Lorenzo said, “Sonny, we heard your music playing. Normally, you stop and talk to us when you are in the area. We were concerned about you and came over here to find out what was going on.”

I said, “My King told me not to park over there but to come over here. He said that I was in great danger and I would die if I stopped in that section of the park.” After I explained to Lorenzo what my King said, there was massive amount of gunfire going on in the location where I was going to park. Lorenzo said, “Sonny, if we would have stayed over there we would have been caught in their crossfire. Look there are three cars on one side and four cars on the other side and they’re shooting right where we were standing.” Soon the police sirens started going off with all that commotion. The two opposing factions left the park quickly. Later, we had some investigators come over and ask us some questions. A policeman almost revealed my name because he knew me. He realized that because gangs don’t like police officers very much that it’s never a good idea to show how much you know about an individual. It could mean their life or mine may end. I talked to the police officer and told him that we couldn’t see what happened because we were too far away. The gang remained silent. This was the first time that my King saved their lives because I was being obedient him and I came over to this side of the park.

This incident that just happened is the second time that they were saved by King. By being obedient to him and anointing their cars it saved them. I was about to tell them that their cars were still anointed and that we don’t need to do it again but my King said, “Just be quiet and anoint their cars anyway.” When I was ready to start anointing, Lorenzo said, “Boys, when Sonny starts praying, I want all of you to make a circle around the cars facing outward and watch so Sonny does not get disturbed. I don’t want any of you to say a word.” They began facing away from me. Lorenzo was curious and was hanging with me as I started praying and anointed the cars. Then Lorenzo said, “Sonny, make sure you don’t forget the tires.” I went around and said a prayer and anointing each car and its tires. After I finished doing the anointing, Lorenzo said, “You know after you do that anointing, I just feel like I’m invincible.” I know my King is having as much fun as I am working with these guys. I give the Glory and the Victory to him.

Fort Collins Spiritual Healing

The man Terry who had a vision to heal Fort Collins from the coronavirus also had a vision from God to pray for the Fort Collin’s government buildings for spiritual healing. My King had me go two weeks later to the courthouse to pray over that building. While I was praying, two men walked out of the courthouse. My King said, ” Sonny, I want you to pray for those men. Don’t ask if they want prayer but tell them I am here to pray for you.” I told them what my King said. They asked, “Who are you and why are you doing this?”

I said, “My name is Sonny, I am here representing God’s Kingdom.” The minute I mentioned the phrase “God’s Kingdom” one of the men started crying. The other guy looked at him and asked, “Why are you crying?”

He replied, “When he said that he was from God’s kingdom, it was like a spear piercing my heart. I am tired of all the lying I do at work and running from God. I want to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I have been living in my little box and no one even knows that I’m a Christian. I’m about to change that.” He rededicated his life to Jesus Christ. I prayed with both men. The one who rededicated his life to Jesus Christ, called his wife and wanted her to come and meet me. She came and asked what happened. Her husband excitedly explained to her just what happened. She cried, “My husband has been like a closet Christian.  He goes to church with me but that’s it. Now, he wants to step out and acknowledge Jesus Christ before men. I have been praying a long time for that to happen. Thanks for reaching out to him.”

I said, “I was just being obedient to my King. The Holy Spirit changes the heart. I am only God’s messenger. He gets the Glory and the Victory.” Fort Collins is not done yet. I am sure my King has more things for me to do here.

Alvin the Chipmunk Saves Gang

It was Saturday morning and my King said, “Sonny, you need to buy twelve dozen donuts, orange juice and milk before you meet the gangs today. After I pick everything up he asked for, I headed towards the east side of Denver to speak to a gang. My informers told me this gang I was about to meet called me the Chipmunk. This was probably because I am not very tall. I been having a difficult time meeting with this gang because they always leave when I come around. Then the informers told me the leader Nathaniel said, “If I ever see that chipmunk again, I am going to beat him up. I am tired of him.”

I said, “Tell me where these guys hang out. I never see them.” They showed me on a map what section of the park they hang out every morning. I then said, “Okay, now I need you guys to get me a chipmunk costume.” Looking at the expression on their faces, now they really think I’m losing it.

The undercover police said, “Oh yeah, that’s cool man. I’ll get one for you. I know someone who has one.” I met up with them and they gave me the costume. They proceeded to help me put it on. I did not put the head piece on because it was too dangerous to drive with it on plus imagine what people would think if I was driving by with that on. Next, I had to be careful where I parked my pickup because they do recognize it and will leave immediately if they see it. When I was about a block away from that park, I parked and got out of my pickup and began to put the head piece on. I saw myself in my pickup mirror and began laughing at myself. I then began to question my King. I said, “Are you sure you want me to wear this? It kind of looks ridiculous.”

My King replied, “Sonny, just put it on. Just have some fun. Then watch and see what happens.” So I finished putting the headpiece on. I began walking towards the place they meet. When I got closer, they were just starting to pull up to just hang out. I was already burning up in the costume because it was hot outside. I started walking with my Bible and passed a playground on the right. I didn’t even think about it but I don’t think God wanted me to think about it either. There were a lot of kids playing. I have been here before and this was not normal for this park. I was concentrating on witnessing to the gang. I kept walking towards them them. One of kids shouted, “There is Alvin the Chipmunk. Let’s go get him.”

I said, “Oh no!” All the kids started coming after me. The kids from the playground tackled me. Another kid shouted, “Alvin is my favorite.” I said, “I come here to say Hi to you kids.” All the parents wanted to take pictures with their kids sitting on my lap. The gang was watching intently as things began to unfold. The kids would not let go of me. I stayed with them probably 45 minutes. There was a lot of picture taking and hugging going on. One little girl wanted me to carry her. She said, “I can’t believe you came to the park.” Other girls said, “You are my favorite.” Another girl approximately 7 years old said, “My whole room is decorated with Alvin.” She hung on to me the whole time. Her parents pointed to her feet. She even had Alvin slippers on.

The parents are having as much fun as the kids were. God put this all into motion so the gangs could see families interacting with their kids. The gangs completely stopped whatever they were doing just so they could watch the kids interacting with me. Finally, the kids started going back to play. After the last kid left, the parents asked who I was. I introduced myself as Sonny. I said, “I’m here to witness to that gang over there. That gang does not like me very much. They call me the Chipmunk. I thought it would be cool to wear this costume when I talk about Jesus Christ with them.”

The parents said, “That is so crazy and awesome what you’re about to do.” They intently looked at me and said, “Is that really a gang over there?”

I said, “Yes they are.” The parents said, “Oh my gosh! We come to this park all the time.” Some of the parents started praying over me that God would give me wisdom. I noticed that two additional gangs started to congregate near where this gang was. They too seem to be infatuated with what was going on here. I started walking towards the gang again. I was probably five yards away when I heard some kids on the left hand side of the park. They too shouted, “There is Alvin the Chipmunk.” I had another group of kids coming after me. Because I was so close to the gang, I said, “Lord these kids should not be this close to the gangs.”

God again replied, “Sonny, just have some fun.” When the new kids started getting rowdy, the other kids I just left came running when they heard all the commotion going on. The picture taking and the hugging all started again. I began praying for them and just having a good time. Soon the girls that were part of Nathaniel’s gang started coming over and helping set the kids on my lap. Earlier when the kids started closing in, all the gang members went to their vehicles and put their weapons away so the kids would not have to see them. The eleven girls that were part of the gang were really getting into helping me with the kids. But the men just kept staring at me. I looked at expression on the leaders face. His eyes were as big as softballs as he was watching what was going on. He also noticed the Bible that I was carrying but he did not put two and two together. I spent another 30 minutes in front of all gangs with all the families getting pictures and hugging. I spent over an hour just loving and praying for everyones kids while the gangs were watching. A little girl who loved Alvin from the first bunch just came up to me and just kept putting her arm around my shoulder and she was getting her portrait in everybody photos. She just kept holding my shoulder and she did not care. My King orchestrated all of this. It was all done to demonstrate to the gangs how important family was in the process of them watching. God used the time I spent with the kids to work on their hearts. Soon all the kids went back to playing. The gang leader, Nathaniel, glared at me and said, “What are you doing here?”

I said, “I am Sonny. I am the one you call Chipmunk. I thought that I would wear a Chipmunk costume to show you who I am.” Nathaniel busted out laughing. His stomach was cramping up when he was laughing so hard. He replied, “Did you really put on a costume just because you heard that I called you Chipmunk and that we were going to beat you up?”

I said, “Yes I did. I am here as a chipmunk just for you.” He continued to laugh and then pretty soon his whole gang was laughing. God did a miracle today. I was planning to just walk up to this gang wearing this outfit. But my King had better plans by watching the interaction between the parents and the kids. That gave the Holy Spirit time to soften their hearts so they would listen to my message. My King gets victory for what just happened.

Nathaniel then said, “You know what! If this guy is willing to dress up like a chipmunk to talk to me about Jesus Christ, I am going to listen to him. And no, I am not going to beat you up. I’m sorry I called you the Chipmunk. I am now going to have nightmares because of a giant chipmunk coming to tell me about Jesus Christ.”

I said, “You can call me anything you want.”

He said, “No way man. If I call you a dinosaur, you will probably come up to me in a dinosaur suit.”

I then asked, “Nathaniel, are you hungry?”

He said, “The boys and I are hungry.”

I said, “My King had me buy a bunch of donuts for you guys.” The other two other gangs were still watching what was going on. The girls from Nathaniel’s gang went over and talked to the girls in the other two gangs. The other girls were extremely curious and asked about the big deal with the Alvin the Chipmunk” costume. The leaders from the other gangs came up to me. They were so blessed with the peace. They wanted to call a truce so that everyone would have a nice day at the park. All of the gangs agreed to hold a truce. I drove my pickup closer to set up and serve the donuts and the drinks. All of the women of the gangs helped me put everything out and serve the men. I continued to wear my head piece until it came time to read God’s word. We found a shady spot where we all sat down. I started talking to them about God’s plans for their life and I read John 3:16 and Jeremiah 29:11 to them because that deals with them right now. Eleven girls from Nathaniel’s gang said, “We saw all the love in the families. We don’t want to do this anymore. We all want to go home.” One of the girls said, ” I’m calling my mom and dad. I am done with this life.” Normally, it is difficult to leave a gang but Nathaniel said, “Hey, if you guys want to go home, you just go home to your families. Families are important. This life we live is all messed up.” Five of the guys also stepped up too. They also wanted to go home. They all decided that they wanted to accept Jesus Christ into their heart. One of the other gang leaders asked, “Are you a preacher that walks around in a chipmunk costume preaching the word of God?”

I said, “No man. This costume is strictly for this guy Nathaniel.” The other two gangs did not ask anymore questions. After they finished eating, they thanked me for the food and left. None of last two gangs gave their life to Jesus Christ today but I did plant a lot of seeds today. I went over to Nathaniel and said, “Nathaniel is mentioned in the Bible.”

He said, “I know. But a lot of things have happened to me when I was 12 years old.”

I said, “I know. God has shown me what has happened to you.”

He said, “No, he didn’t. You don’t know my life at all.”

I replied, “I do not know everything but I do know what God showed me. Your parents were killed in an automobile accident on the other side of Denver when you were 12. You have been on the street over ten years. You have been taking care of yourself since then. Is that true?”

Nathaniel said, “Yes, that is true.”

I continued, “Nobody wanted you. Everyone in your family told you to go live on the street. My King will never abandon you. You have been out on the streets trying to do whatever you could to raise money to survive and when you turned 16 you started your own gang.”

Nathaniel said, “You don’t even know me but yet you know so much about me.”

I said, “This is everything that my King has revealed to me about you.”

He then said, “Thanks Sonny but I’ve got to go. Take care of yourself.” Nathaniel then left the park with the rest of his men that did not accept Jesus Christ.

The parents of the girls who called started showing up. I finally had a chance to take this suit off. I was sweating profusely in that suit. I don’t know how those mascots do it. I then went to my friend’s house to shower and get cleaned up. I then went back to the park because I figured a new gang would be showing up. When I returned, there were some parents there with their kids. One was five and the other was seven years old. They drove clear from the other side of town looking for Alvin the Chipmunk. Their cousins called them and said Alvin is here at the park. The little boy asked, “Have you seen Alvin?”

I said, “He was here.”

He replied, “Does that mean he left?”

I said, “Yes, but I think he’s coming back. I just don’t know when.”

He replied, “That is good because Alvin’s my hero. He’s just like me always getting in trouble.” The kids went back to playing. I talked to the parents because they saw me carrying the costume. I said, “I am going to go back to my pickup and put this costume on so that your kids can see Alvin.”

The parents humbly said, “You’re going to do that just for us.” My informers who have been watching me all day and felt my pain being in that hot suit for hours started crying when they saw me heading back to my pickup to put that costume back on again for those two little kids. One of the kids was named Ruth. When I came back, I called out Ruth’s name while in the costume. She looked up and saw me and said “Alvin, you’re my hero.” She came up and started hugging me and sitting up on my lap. Other kids started showing up to see Alvin in the park. Pretty soon I had a whole bunch of kids around me again. When Ruth was alone, she started sharing with me about saving up for a cross. She showed me a picture of what the cross looked like. It was exactly like the one I wear around my neck. My King told me that I should give my cross to her but I had to wait until she had her back turned so I could take it off my neck. She talked about it and showed it to me again. She said, “I’m saving up for this. I’m going to get this one.” She was distracted by something and looked away. When she had her back completely turned, I popped the head piece off and removed my cross from my neck. I quickly put my my head piece back on. Then I said, “Is this the cross that you were looking to get.” Ruth said, “Yes, that’s exactly the one.” I gave it to her by placing it around her neck. It was a long day so I headed home. Nathaniel called and wanted to meet with me at 2 p.m. tomorrow to ask more questions about my King.

Sunday was awesome. Twelve gang members from two gangs gave their hearts to Jesus Christ this morning and Nathaniel and the rest of the Gang gave their hearts to Jesus Christ that afternoon. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. I got home late that evening.
