I really did not think about the other people who were there at all. I feel embarrassed about this after reading this story. A boy named Paul Cooper developed a little sore on the inside of his mouth. His mom took him to the dentist to have it checked out. The dentist said, "I don't think it's a dental problem, I think you should go to the doctor." They went to the doctor and they found out that Paul Cooper's body was raging with cancer. This young man, who was so fervent about wanting to serve God, was so anxious to be a preacher and a pastor. They operated twice, but could do nothing. It went and metastasized to his blood. Now Paul Cooper's in the hospital dying. I got a note which said, "Could you come see me?" I want to see Paul. Paul was so sick. When I walked in the room, blood was seeping out of the corner of his eyes, blood kept coming out of his mouth and out of his teeth. Paul said, "Oh, Brother Gibbs, I'm so glad you're here. I need your help." I replied,"What do you need me to help you with Paul?" Paul said, "They won't let me get out of this bed and I need you as the lawyer to help me get out of this bed. You can tell them what you think. And they won't know any different." I asked, "What have you got in mind?" Paul said, "Brother Gibbs, my whole hole whole life I just wanted to preach and pastor a church. Now, I know I only have a few weeks to live. I've witnessed to everybody on this floor in the hospital. I thought I was going to get to go and do a church somewhere. But this is the ministry that God gave me right here. There on the next floor down are 75 kids who are dying, and I need to reach them. They're like me only they don't have Christ. Could you go get a wheelchair and wheel me down there?" I replied, "Oh, look at all the tubes they got you hooked up to you. Are you sure they will let you go?" Paul said, "They won't let me go. But that's why I needed you. You need to threaten to sue them." I replied, "Paul, I'm not gonna threaten to sue somebody." Paul laughed and he said, "Brother Gibbs, please help me!" Well, I went and found a wheelchair. Sure, as the world I know sooner started pushing the wheelchair back to his room, and the charged nurse stopped me. And she said, "What are you doing?" I said, "I need this wheelchair. She then asked, "What do you need it for?" I said, "Well, I would tell you. But HIPA won't let me tell you?" And she asked, "What are you, a lawyer?" I said, "Great, guess. Yes I am. I don't want you to have any trouble but I'm telling you right now. I have a client that's thinking of suing." The nurse turned to me, and said, "I see nothing. I see nothing." It took us 2 hours to get Paul into that chair. We went down one floor and there I have never seen anything like this. He went to the first room, and he said, "I'm Paul Cooper, and I'm like you, I'm dying. The only difference is that I have eternal life with Jesus and you can have it too. I know you're very sick, but God sent me here so I can talk to you." All Paul did was give the gospel as we went room to room. 80% of the kids in those rooms, trusted Christ and prayed "The Sinner's prayer". That night, when I put Paul back in bed, He said, "Brother Gibbs, this makes me so happy. I have joy, unspeakable joy." A Christian without joy is in real trouble. The first key is you got to have joy. Three weeks later, we were at Paul Cooper's funeral. 60 some doctors showed up who he had won the Lord. You can even change the world for Jesus even in a hospital. I wonder how many times I get wrapped into my circumstances that I miss opportunities to share the Gospel. Video 10/30/2026 How many of us think that God puts unreasonable circumstances against us. You are not alone but in the end God can use your circumstance to his glory. This story is about about circumstances and why they happen: Corey Ten Boom and her sister Betsy, who during World War 2 were hiding Jews in their house because of their Christian convictions. They were protecting them from the Nazis regime. Eventually, the family gets arrested. They get put into multiple concentration camps. The second concentration camp was the worst. They were put into cell block 28. When they tried to go to sleep, they realized they can't sleep, because cell block 28 is infested with fleas. It was rough and that becomes Corey's breaking point. She looked at Betsy and said, "I can't do this anymore. I can't do it." Betsy, who ended up dying in that concentration camp, said, "Corey, I know what to do. I read it in my Bible last night 1 Thessalonians 5 which tells us to rejoice. Always pray without ceasing and give thanks in all circumstances." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. Betsy then said, "Corey, let's pause right now and give thanks. Let's give thanks for the guards and for the fact that we're in here with all these women. We will be able to tell them about Jesus. Let's give thanks for these beds that we're in. Lastly, let's give thanks for the fleas." Corey replied, "Okay, I got a breaking point. You know I give thanks for everything but I can't give thanks to the fleas." Betsy said, "No Corey, give thanks in all circumstances. Let's give thanks for the fleas." So they both gave thanks for everything. Over the next few months, Corey and her sister Betsy began a Bible study in cell block 28 and it grew and grew until they were gathering with all these people to have worship services, which were illegal in Nazi concentration camps. They always wondered, "Like man, why are we able to do this? The guards never come in and stop our worship services." They never found out the answer to that question until they were released from the concentration camp. They asked one of the guards and he told them that the guards wouldn't go into cell block 28 for one reason, it was the fleas. Please listen, the thing that they most wanted God to take away was the thing that God used to lead the entire cell block to Christ. You're going through some things and you're afraid. Can I tell you something, God is for you, God is with you and God is working in all circumstances. Jeremiah 10:6 NLT 6 Lord, there is no one like you! For you are great, and your name is full of power. Video 10/29/2026 I was looking over my ballot and came across amendment 87, which is a constitutional amendment. They are trying to raise taxes on the rich and the rest of us will not have to pay anything. I already remember when federal income taxes were said to only be paid by rich people. And the rest of us would not have to pay, but we all know how that turned out. It angers me when they use the deception of class warfare to try to get us to pay more taxes. We know of that money they raise only a small percentage is going to be used on what they say in the amendment. The rest of it is going to be wasted. We need to see what's going on in California today. There is a class war against all the rich people out there and there is massive exodus of them that are leaving the state. I don't know about you, but I like it when we have rich people that live in our state and they pay a higher percentage of taxes than the rest of us. Why would we want to ruin that cash cow by chasing them out of the state. That will only leave us who are left to pay for the deficit they will create when they leave? As long as it is legal let people make money for their hard work and ingenuity and then leave them alone. God knew about this problem. And that's the reason why he put one of the commandments about coveting other people's stuff. Exodus 20:17 NLT 17 "You must not covet your neighbor's house. You must not covet your neighbor's wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor." If we would understand what that means, we would not be going against rich people. If they get away with this amendment they will come up with more tax amendments in future elections using class warfare to get them passed. Each one that passes will chase more rich people away leaving us who are left to pay for even greater deficits that will occur when they leave. 10/27/2026 So you think you are not good enough for Jesus. So why is it that when Paul did this? Acts 8:1 NLT 8 Saul was one of the witnesses, and he agreed completely with the killing of Stephen. Persecution Scatters the Believers A great wave of persecution began that day, sweeping over the church in Jerusalem; and all the believers except the apostles were scattered through the regions of Judea and Samaria. His final words near the end of his life he said this to Timothy: 2 Timothy 4:6-8 NIV 6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. The moral of this story is that Jesus does not care about your past. He is only interested in what you are today. Jesus also expects us to look at what people are today. Their past should not dictate our opinion of them but only how they are living their life for Christ today. 10/26/2026 We all feel that we love Jesus until we hear testimonies of people who really have a passion for Jesus. Don't be disappointed but ask God to give us passion when it comes to Jesus. I hear about how black churches who love Jesus and how they get excited about worshiping him. David Gibbs was asked to be a guest speaker in such a church: I was invited to a wonderful church, a large church, a great church. After I arrived, I came in the church on that Sunday morning sitting down near the front. I began looking around and this just never happened to me before. I was the only person not of color in that church. People were gracious and kind. It couldn't have been better, but as I'm sitting there a lady comes in. She was ready to sit down next to me. She said, "Hello" I responded, "Hello, how are you?" She said, "Fine. How are you?" I said, "Great". Finally, she sits down while taking her coat off. She turns to me, and she said, "What are you doing here, white boy?" Now in my whole life, no one had ever called me white boy. I replied, "Well, white boy's gonna preach this morning." She replied, "So you're gonna preach." I said, yeah, She replied, "Well isn't tha a hoot." I said, "That is a hoot. You're right." She looked at me, and asked, "Do you got the stuff, white boy." I replied, "I beg your pardon." She said, "Don't play stupid, white boy. If the preacher aint got the stuff, we don't have church. Either you got the stuff or you don't got the stuff and if you don't got it, you sit right down here. And let somebody stand up there whose got the stuff. Now do you got it or not." I replied, "The white boys got the stuff." I didn't know what else to say. She said, "This is how we do stuff here. The service is gonna start right on time. We're gonna sing for at least an hour." I replied, "An hour". She then said, "Yeah, if you love God, you love to sing. If you don't love to sing, you don't love God. Good chance you're not even saved because you don't like to sing." I really did not know what to say. She continued, "After we're done singing, we have testimonies. Sometimes they stand up and they confess crimes they've done. It's good. And when they confess a crime, we take them right down to the jail and turn them in." I replied, "You do what now." She asked, "Have you done any crimes, white boy? I thought, "None that I'm talking about this morning, no, no, no, no." She continued, "Then comes the preaching. Do you hear me, white boy. We didn't come to get out. We come to go to church. You see, I'm addicted to praising him. I adore it." I moved over. It is a good thing I did. She started singing. Soon she started crying and I followed suit. I'm crying and I don't know why we're crying. I want you to hear me, her passion pulled me in. Man, we're singing, and I'm thinking, "Oh, I want praise the Lord like she does." When I walked away, she said, "Give it all white boy, give it all." Now I'm by the preacher and I asked, "Do you know that lady down there?" He replied, "Yeah, you're sitting down there by sister Abby. Did she share her testimony with you?" I replied, "No." The pastor continued, "A couple years ago her husband and two junior high boys walked down to the bus stop. They were gonna catch a bus to school and the husband a bus to work. They don't know why. They think it was just a gang thing. Early in the morning, some shotguns came out and killed her two boys and her husband." I replied, "All she did was to tell me about her Jesus. And all I know is that I wanna be like her." Lord, I too want to have this kind of passion for Jesus like this lady? 10/25/2026 I firmly believe including myself that we need the increase our discernment about the devil. Here is a story about what can happen when we let our guard down. I would safely say demonic activity is more prevalent today than it ever has been, but I'm sad to say that as Christians we do not discern it as we ought to be. We are not attuned enough with the power that's going on behind the scene. When the husband says what he says, or does what he does to the children or the wife now comes home and says, "You know what, I had somebody tell me not too long ago. She said, 'I went and had an affair because I was coming up on my birthday and I wanted to see if I still had it.' And that decision cost her her children, her husband, her everything." What happened, the enemy approaches dropping little thoughts, "Why don't you connect on social media with your old high school flame before the high school reunion. You would never think so, but Satan was at work and destroyed a family because of this. How many times does this stuff happen? I believe that this is demonic activity. They say, "I didn't smell any sulfur." That's the point. Satan is a deceiving spirit. He makes things look good. Well, what about this. I was informed on a man who was a wonderful Christian man. He came to me and he said, "I just found out from my investor that handles my estate. That I've been investing in this company, and it's doing very well. It's a company that is owned and operated by a Qatari group, and it's money that supports things that are completely Antichrist and Anti-American. Should I continue investing here?" I replied, "I'm not even I am not a financial advisor but I will tell you about spiritual stuff." The great thing is I didn't have to tell him anything. I asked, "What is Jesus telling you to do?" He replied, "To get out of it, TO GET OUT OF IT! I just needed to hear it. Thank you." Listen, sometimes we just need to hear it. We need to be careful like we've never been careful before. Deception is bigger today then ever before. Another situation is with a happily married woman. Everything's fine, thank God. Everything is still fine, but she got on an elevator and in the elevator was a man. She said, "Immediately, I felt this profound sense of attraction to him like I've never felt of any human being in my entire life. It was almost like he was a vacuum. His smell, his voice, he simply said, 'How are you doing today?' The sound of his voice was absolutely hypnotic. When I finally looked at him, I was absolutely speechless. He was so stunningly beautiful. He was so handsome, the perfect, perfect example of a man by all of the outward appearances. The elevator stopped at my floor. I had to summoned every bit of power because I did not want to leave. I finally stepped out of that elevator and turned around to watch that elevator door shut. When the elevator moved, I heard the voice of God say, 'You just encountered a demon.' That voice from God rescued me from who knows what." Satan didn't show up in the garden looking like an idiot. He didn't have bad breath or anything. Eve had no problem looking on him and receiving his bad advice. Video 10/24/2026 Have you ever thought about why the one criminal on the cross said what he said to Jesus? Just envision what was going on during the crucifiction. Jesus himself was hanging from a cross looking really terrible because of all the beating he was given. It looked like it was over for Jesus, but yet this one criminal knew something the other criminal did not. Luke 23:32-43 NLT 32 Two others, both criminals, were led out to be executed with him. 33 When they came to a place called The Skull, they nailed him to the cross. And the criminals were also crucified—one on his right and one on his left. 34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. 35 The crowd watched and the leaders scoffed. "He saved others," they said, "let him save himself if he is really God's Messiah, the Chosen One." 36 The soldiers mocked him, too, by offering him a drink of sour wine. 37 They called out to him, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!" 38 A sign was fastened above him with these words: "This is the King of the Jews." 39 One of the criminals hanging beside him scoffed, "So you're the Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself—and us, too, while you're at it!" 40 But the other criminal protested, "Don't you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? 41 We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn't done anything wrong." 42 Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom." 43 And Jesus replied, "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise." How did this man know who Jesus was? If I was committing a life of crime, the last thing I would want to know is who Jesus was. These are questions one can ask: Could it be that a lot of people were talking about Jesus during his ministry. Did those conversations stick with the man while he was listening to the people talking about his wonders and miracles? If this one is true, it proves that talking about and living for Jesus is a good way to expose to people to who Jesus is. This can result one give their heart to Jesus Christ. Was this man around Jesus when he was speaking to the crowds during his ministry? By how Jesus spoke the criminal began to realize that Jesus was not just an ordinary man. Evangelizing is a good way to also bring people to Jesus Christ. Did this man have God manifest himself into his life at this time showing who Jesus was? I have heard that Jesus himself has gone into Iran and physically manifested himself inside some of those people. Because of the persecution he wants to make sure that people know who he is. I believe that God could have manifested himself too with this criminal. One of the most important things to remember is that this criminal did not have any time to do anything but confess. He was not baptized and he was not checked for circumcision but Jesus said "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise." So there is no action that we can do can physically do to get us into the Kingdom of Heaven. This man proved that it's not necessary. Baptism is still a good thing as people get baptized as a public and physical expression of their Christian faith, obedience to Jesus Christ, and identification with His death and resurrection. If we truly love Jesus our lives will also change to please him. This man knew that Jesus was the way! John 14:6 NLT 6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." 10/19/2026 The midterm described by Ecclesiastes Ecclesiastes 10:1-3 NIV 10 As dead flies give perfume a bad smell, so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor. 2 The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. 3 Even as fools walk along the road, they lack sense and show everyone how stupid they are. I have already talked about how important it is to get involved in the midterm election. I was listening to one of God's prophets, and he was talking about the spiritual warfare that's going on right now in our midterms. After we do our physical part in this election, the only thing that's left to do is pray for God to intervene in any place where fraud is going to be taking place. We can also ask that God opens the eyes of people so they vote properly. You may be asking how my prayers may affect the outcome of the election. I have found out that America was spared destruction because of the remnant praying in the church in America. The remnant has a lot of power. Here is a story of what just a few people praying can do. David Livingstone was a man who was called by God to go to Africa. Before God sent him he became a doctor to be able to do medicine there too. God was doing great work through him and the leaders wanted to kill him for what he was doing. They said, "We are going to kill you tonight." His church in Scotland knew what the enemy had planned and they began praying over David Livingstone that night. The event never occurred. Two years later, the the leaders decided to come to Jesus Christ. David Livingston asked them why they changed their mind about killing us. He replied, "No, we were going to kill you. But when we got there, there were 39 giants watching the compound and that made us run." When David Livingston had a chance to go back to Scotland someone in the church asked, "Do you remember that day that they were going to kill you?" He replied, "Yes, I'll never forget that day." That person then got a hold of the church diary and opened it up, and said, "On that day there were 39 people in the church, praying over you." Evil in today's midterms is trying to destroy what God is trying to set up. Let's pray like those people did in Scotland that God would intervene and change the outcome of this election just because we prayed. Let's place our own giants around election integrity to scare off the enemy. 10/15/2026 I consider myself a giver until I read this story: A young lady came up to me and she said, "Do I understand what you're preaching that God promises that if we will give by faith, trusting him. He's always promises to give back so we can keep giving again giving again?" I replied, "Yeah, you got it right." She said, I'm a widow that I have 3 small babies. My husband just died in an industrial accident, and all I have in this world is about $20K if I remember right. I have no other family. All I have is the Lord and I'm gonna give because my God has promised to give it back." I said, "Bless your heart. How much of the $20K are you going to give?" She replied, "All of it." Shocked, I repeated, "All of it." And all of a sudden sweat broke up my brow, I said, "That's everything!" She said, "You told me, I can trust him, right?" I said, "Yeah, but that was me just talking. Are you saying you're gonna do it?" She said, "Yeah." I said, "Well, before you go, let me read the verses again with you. Okay, I need to read them. You see, this is real, simple stuff until you do it. Bless your heart," She walked away. They did the offering that night. I sought her out afterwards. I said, "I just wanted to check on you." She replied, "Well, you're probably wondering if I gave it all." I said, "Yeah, I am did you give it all?" She replied, "I did." I said, "Wow!" She asked, "Why do you say Wow? My God has promised if I give and it shall be given unto you." When she walked away, I said, "Lord, please don't forget her step of faith." Remember without faith, it's impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6 NIV And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Not a month later. I had my office track her down through the church. I called this young mother and I said, "This is Brother Gibbs, do you remember me." She replied, "Oh, I remember you. You're the guy who got me to give. You're probably calling to see if God has come through yet." I said, "Well, yeah, that's been on my heart." She said, "Brother Gibbs, you gotta trust God. God didn't promise he would do it overnight. Come on, you gotta have faith right?" And she started preaching to me. This phone call is going all the wrong way. I learned and I continued waited on God's timing as more time passed. If I remember right, I was doing a trial in Iowa, I was in a courtroom. And in that trial, I got a phone call, an emergency call, it said, call this number as quick as you can. I didn't recognize the number. I walked out the courtroom and called. It was this young mother, and she said, "Do you remember me? I said, "I'll never forget you." She said, "Well, I gotta tell you something. I just got a call from a lawyer in Pennsylvania, and this lawyer asked if I had any family in Pennsylvania. I told him I did not. In fact I have never been there. The lawyer then asked me if I have an uncle Herschel? I responded that that I never heard of it. He said, well an uncle Herschel in Pennsylvania just died and left you $600K. I responded quickly as said. 'Oh, that uncle'. I'm gonna take God at his word, brother Gibbs. I can trust him. He never lies, he never fails, and I 'm putting faith in his word, or it says, give, and it shall be given unto you." Video 10/14/2026 It is getting close to midterms, and it's time to start thinking about what's going on. There are 2 forces that you are all facing. One is the truth from God from the enemy is a pure lie. There is no in between. Of course vote. When you do not vote, whatever measures or leaders that where decided on is what you shove in God's face. You may ask why I believe this. If you are not willing to do research on anything or spend your time to support God's values. God will also tell you that there is a right choice and a wrong choice. It tells him that you do not care to take the time to vote when you are complacent.. But when you do vote, vote as God was standing in your shoes. Ask him, and he will give you the wisdom to make the right choice. Because he he can teach you in all things. 1 John 2:26-27 NIV 26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit'''just as it has taught you, remain in him. 10/13/2026 We all have an opinion of what our relationship is like with God?. But you know, the true test is what do the people on the street see in you that they cannot see in anybody else? The sad part is if you are appearing no different to them then the next guy, are you really there in your relationship with God. 1 John 1:5-7 New Living Translation Living in the Light 5 This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. 6 So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. 7 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 10/08/2026 How much do we really trust God? This story will make you think about this: A grandson asked this question, "Grandma, what was the greatest miracle God ever did for you and Grandpa during the 50 years you guys were preaching?" This was her response she gave to him. Well, this might sound like a small miracle to some people, but it was big for me and your grandpa at the time. We had no income from preaching. We just preached on the street at a Bible College. I woke up and there was no food for breakfast. Believe you we had one option, just trust God. So I got ready to pray, and all of a sudden, what does the Bible say, "Trouble chases sinners, blessings pursue the righteous." She said, "Before I could even get one word out, I saw chickens marching down the hill." Twenty-one chickens in total. Normally chickens aren't on the move. They keep them in a pen. I watched them closely. They're walking in a straight line as they came down the hill on our property. They then took a turn, and all 21 chickens went in the shed. I followed them into shed to see what they were doing. All twenty one chickens laid an egg. I gathered all the eggs in a basket. Then, the chickens went back up the hill. Curiosity got the best of me, so I followed them up the hill. They all went back about a quarter mile up the hill to their pen. I believe in honesty so I knocked on the door and a lady answered, "Hey, can I help you?" I said, "Your chickens got loose and they laid eggs on my property. I wanted to know if you'd like the eggs back." The lady replied, "Those can't be our chickens. My husband hates those chickens. Ever since he bought them, they've never laid one egg." I said, "We don't even own chickens. The lady replied, "I promise you they are yours. If they are on your property you can keep them." For the rest of the time that my grandparents lived there. Those chickens, every time, I mean every time they started getting low on eggs, those chickens would come back down the hill, go in the shed and lay eggs and leave. I never had to clean up after those chickens. I never had to feed them. I never had to build a pen. I just collected the blessing, hallelujah. And I'll tell you in the name of Jesus, if all you've known is struggle, when God anoints your head with oil trouble doesn't find its way to you. The blessing of God will come without your permission. Video Proverbs 13:21 NIV 21 Trouble pursues the sinner, but the righteous are rewarded with good things. 10/07/2026 Our physical disadvantages should never keep us from doing the will of God. Here is a story of a man who overcame his disadvantage: I got a call from a pastor and he said they just passed a law in my town to keep me from witnessing and handing out gospel tracks and I said, "Well, we get a lot of those and we'll help you get it reversed. That's unconstitutional and it's illegal." He replied, "I know, but they put my name in the law." I retorted, "They put your name in it when they passed it." The pastor continued, "They said this law is to stop and they named me." I was confused and said, "They passed a law just for you." He exclaimed, "That is what they did." I said, "Let me call your Attorney General up there. That's hard for me to imagine." I called the Attorney General there. I asked, "Did you pass a law and put this pastor's name in it." He replied, "We did." I retorted, "That's illegal." He continued, "I know, but we are just trying to slow him down. Mr. Gibbs, I know you're going to come up here and get all this reversed, but you gotta understand this guy witnesses to everybody. We were happy up here until he came to town. Everybody just had their own little way of how they were going to try to go to heaven. Nobody even cared. Then this guy came up here and started talking about hell and heaven and what Jesus did. And he started winning everybody to Jesus. The last straw was when he won the local Catholic priest to Jesus, that really upset people." Shocked at what I just heard, I said, "I am going to come up there and get this reversed." He replied, "I'm sure you will." and then he said these words, "Mr. Gibbs, when you meet him, he's like Superman on steroids." That was a quote. I wrote it down. "You just can't believe how he witnesses." I thought, "Man, I can't wait to meet Superman!" I flew up there to file a lawsuit to get it all reversed. When I got off the airplane, I started looking for my contact. I noticed a guy with a little sign up with my name on it. And the guy holding the sign is all bent over and crippled. His neck angles off crazy like. Both of his hands are gnarled. When he would move he would have to drag his leg because it wouldn't move. I walked over and I asked, "Did you come here to pick up David Gibbs?" He replied, "Yeah." I said, "Boy, the church should have sent somebody else. Pastor should have given this task to someone else." The man replied, "Mr. Gibbs, I am the pastor." I said, "Your Superman. Your the guy who witnesses to everybody. You can't hardly move." He replied, "Mr. Gibbs, I was born with all of this. And for my whole life nobody wanted me on their team. Whenever they'd picked teams, I'd always be the last. They only took me because the teacher made them. But then I got saved and God put me on his team and I am Gods team. I'm a captain. I get to give the gospel to people." I asked, "How do you witness to people?" He replied, "I have tracks just inside my coat here. And they put stick-um on my hands because I can't grasp them. And I just touch the tracks and they come off. Everybody's polite and takes some, and I get to tell him about Jesus." I looked at him and I thought, "Lord, he ought to have my hands. He ought to have my legs. He ought to have my back." Before we got out of that airport, we witnessed to some 60 people. The man who can't move but is on Jesus' team. It is a sin not to witness. Proverbs 4:23 NIV 23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. 10/04/2026 This is How Colorado Has Become One of the Most Sinful State in the US I have to agree with this guy: If the church won't decide for people, the world will. And if godly pastors, and I'm doing my best and church is made up of godly followers of Jesus. I believe I'm sitting in one right now. If we won't challenge and oppose evil, who will. So I've, I'm fully aware that some you're gonna pack your bags. And go find another church, not because I said or taught something unbiblical, but because it offended your personal beliefs in politics. I'm a Christian and I love America, and I love, I love the state. I do so much so that I 'm not gonna move. I 'm not gonna surrender this awesome state to satan. I want to fight with Jesus so that God can have it back and it being the people that are being deceived by Antichrist spiritual policies in our government and in our schools and people can once again flourish under gods blessing. Which can only come from alignment with gods truth. How can God bless a state that has made its goal to be the poster child for "if God hates it, we love it." and we celebrate it. And we even make it a civil right, and we'll make it our priority to codify it into the fabric of our state. If the church won't decide for people, the world will. Let's make Colorado one state under Jesus Christ. We have a big job ahead of us. Video 10/02/2026 Here is a story about the power of prayer. I along with many other people are not taking advantage of prayer. This is one Pastors story who thought the same thing: My son became deadly ill. He was perfectly normal up to age 13, and suddenly without explanation, his chest bone started growing in touching his spine. No one could explain why or how? But his front and back came together and were pushing on each other. All of his internal organs were cut off, and our boy was dying. The best physicians we could find came to us and said, "We need to do an experimental surgery." I asked, "Can you do this?" He said, "We don't know. We've never done it before, but you only have a couple of days and your boy is dead. His hearts is in severe failure. All his kidneys and other organs are shutting down. He has difficulty breathing. We want to try." I called the best doctor I knew. I grew up with him. He is a wonderful physician and a friend for a long time, and I asked, "What would you do if you were me?" He replied, "I'd find somebody who knows how to get a hold of God. You gotta have God do something David." When I hung up with Buddy, I didn't call the best preacher. I called the best prayer I knew. If somebody would call me, I would rate on a 0 to 10 scale my prayers are a 1 or 2, maybe a 3 on a good day. What am I saying? Prayer is commanded by God prayer. Prayer moves the arm of God. I've got nothing more powerful than prayer. I called to get hold of that praying pastor and I got his church secretary, and she said, "Oh, brother Gibbs, the preacher just left on a vacation trip. He won't be back for a week. What do you need?" I said nothing about my son. I replied, "Please do not tell him I called. I don't want to disrupt this vacation." I sat down. I thought, who am I gonna call. A half an hour later, the phone rang and it was this preacher. He said, "I called my office and my secretary said you called. You wouldn't call if it wasn't something important. What's up with you?" I said, "I don't want to disturb you." The preacher cut me short and replied, "No, no, what's up, David?" I said, "It is my son. I needed for you to pray for him." The preacher said, "David, I'm gonna pull over and get a motel room, I'm gonna get on my face and I'm going to prayer for you and your boy." Would that ever be you? Would that be me? that you could move the arm of God by prayer. The Bible says you have not because you asked not. I said, "Preacher, I don't want to make you do that." He replied, "You're not making you do this. This is a privilege for me, David. What a thrill to get to pray!" My son's surgery took over 18 hours when the doctor came out. The doctor said, "I don't know how to tell you this. We lost him several times but somebody's praying." I called the preacher. He said, "I've been on the floor for 18 hours. Praying with God." Is that you? How many say I don't believe in prayer that much Brother Gibbs. No, I think I should pray a little. And by the way, when I pray, mostly it's when I'm terrified or scared. But the minute whatever is causing fear in me is gone, then I'm just off on my old self again. I said,"Preacher, they lost him twice on the table." He replied, "David while I was praying there's several times God had impressed on my heart that things were dire, but I kept praying." Would anybody ever be able to count on you? Would they be able to count on me for somebody to fast and pray to make a difference. My son survived that surgery. He had to have two more after it. But every time we saw the doctors, they always said, "Whoever you had doing that praying, we'd like to hire them. Because in that room, it wasn't us. Something divine was going on." I always wonder what kind of things that preacher was saying to God for 18 hours. I have trouble talking to people for more then an hour. Could you imagine giving up 18 hours of your vacation to pray for someone 18 hours and call it a thrill. Moses talked to God a regular basis and I am beginning to believe prayer warriors actually talk to God on a higher level then most people including myself. After all prayer is communication between us and God. He listens but do we even want to take the time to listen to God's response or his dreams for our lives. 09/27/2026 Everyone talks about the forgiveness of sins but no one talks about what happens when Jesus forgives the sins of other people and what you should be doing when he does! I thought it would be fun to give AI a crack at it. When Jesus forgives something, He cleanses the person completely, forgets the sin entirely, and fully restores their standing before God. However, if we refuse to align our hearts with that forgiveness, we block our own connection to God's peace, trap ourselves in bitter emotional torment, and hinder our prayers. When there is a clash between Jesus' total forgiveness and our human refusal to forgive, the Bible shows that a deep spiritual and relational conflict happens in four specific ways: You Declare Your Judgment Higher Than God's When Jesus forgives someone, the highest court in the universe has ruled. The ledger is wiped completely clean. Isaiah 1:18 NLT 18 "Come now, let's settle this," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool If we refuse to forgive that same person or sin, we are essentially saying: "Jesus, your sacrifice on the cross was enough to satisfy God's justice, but it isn't enough to satisfy mine." It places our human judgment above divine authority. You Hand Yourself Over to "Tormentors" In the famous Parable of the Unforgiving Servant Matthew 18:21-35, Jesus tells of a man who was forgiven an unpayable fortune by a king, but then refused to forgive a tiny debt owed to him by a peer. When the king found out, he delivered the unforgiving servant to the "tormentors." Matthew 18:21-35 NLT Parable of the Unforgiving Debtor 21 Then Peter came to him and asked, "Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?" 22 "No, not seven times," Jesus replied, "but seventy times seven! 23 "Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date with servants who had borrowed money from him. 24 In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. 25 He couldn't pay, so his master ordered that he be sold'''along with his wife, his children, and everything he owned'''to pay the debt. 26 "But the man fell down before his master and begged him, '''Please, be patient with me, and I will pay it all.' 27 Then his master was filled with pity for him, and he released him and forgave his debt. 28 "But when the man left the king, he went to a fellow servant who owed him a few thousand dollars. He grabbed him by the throat and demanded instant payment. * In a spiritual sense, when you hold a grudge against someone Jesus has cleared, the person you are hurting most is yourself. * Unforgiveness binds you to bitterness, anxiety, sleeplessness, and obsessive resentment. The other person walks free under God's grace, while you remain trapped in the prison of the offense. Your Own Fellowship with God is Blocked Jesus explicitly stated that human unforgiveness acts as a barrier between us and the Father. * Matthew 6:15: "But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." * This does not mean a true believer instantly loses their eternal salvation. Rather, it means your daily, relational fellowship with God is disrupted. You cannot intimately experience the sweetness of God's grace while actively harboring hatred toward someone else he loves. Your prayers become hindered because your heart is out of sync with His character. You Give the Enemy a "Foothold" Scripture warns that harboring anger and withholding mercy opens a dangerous door in your life. Ephesians 4:26-27 says, "Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." When you refuse to forgive what Jesus has already paid for, you give spiritual darkness a legal right to breed toxicity, division, and emotional pain in your life. Forgiveness vs. Reconciliation It is vital to note that Jesus commands forgiveness (releasing the debt from your heart), but the Bible does not demand immediate reconciliation (restoring a relationship to what it was). If the person is dangerous, abusive, or unrepentant, you can fully forgive them in your heart'''handing them over to Jesus'''while still maintaining strict, healthy boundaries to protect yourself. The biggest excuse I hear about unforgiveness is that you have no idea what that person did to me. Your paltry situation will never compare to the man Jesus who was beaten so bad that he was unrecognizable and bloody. He was humiliated also during this time too. The final straw was being nailed to that cross and before he died he cried out and said, "Father, forgive them because they do not know what they are doing." You will never outdo what Jesus faced and there is no excuse he will accept for not forgiving someone. 09/25/2026 Do we truly know what great love is? You would have to have deep love in order to do this: 1 John 2:1 NLT My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. I believe I have come a long way when it comes to loving people but I do not have the dedication Jesus has when it comes to proving my love. You and I both would be in trouble if Jesus did not take his job as advocate seriously. He is very good at everything he does for his children. I seem to find more ways for him to advocate for me. As we continue to live for Jesus, we will soon find out that he does not have to make as many trips to our heavenly Father to defend us. 09/24/2026 Listen to how God directs our steps. Sometimes he has to do things to get our attention when we are not listening: I was driving down the road and my car started to sputter until it finally died. I barely managed to coast into a gas station. At least now I would not be blocking traffic and would have somewhat of a warm spot to wait for the tow truck. Before I could make the call. I saw a woman walking out of a Quickie Mart. It looks like she slipped on some ice and fell into a gas pump. So I got out of my car to see if she was okay. When I got there, it looked more like she had been overcome by sobs, than that she had fallen. She was a young woman who looked really haggard. She had dark circles around her eyes. She dropped something, and as I helped her pick it up and give it back to her, I saw that it was a nickel. At that moment, everything came into focus for me. The crying woman, the old Chevy suburban crammed full of stuff. Three kids were in the back seat. One was in a car seat. I looked over at the gas pump screen $4.95. After finding she was okay, I asked if she needed help. She kept saying, "I don't want my kids to see me crying." So we stood on the other side of the pump from her car. She said she was driving to California, and I knew things were really hard for her right now. So I asked, "Were you just praying now?" That made her back away from me a little. But I assured her that I was not some crazy person and I said, "God heard you, and he sent me to you." I took out my card and swiped it through the card reader of the gas pump so she could fill up her Suburban completely. While it was filling, I walked next door to McDonald's. I bought two big bags of food, some gift certificates for more food, and a big cup of coffee. She gave the food to the kids in the car who attacked it like wolves. We stood by the pump eating fries and talking a little. She told me her name and that she lived in Kansas City, her husband left her 2 months ago. And she had not been able to make ends meet. She knew she wouldn't have money to pay rent on January 1st. Finally in desperation, I called her parents with whom she had not spoken to in five years. They lived in California and said she could come and live with them and try to get her life back together. So she packed up everything she owned in that vehicle. She told the kids that they were going to California for Christmas. But not that they were going to live there. I gave her my gloves, a little hug, and said a quick prayer with her for her safety on the road. As I was walking over to my car, she asked, "So are you an angel or something?" That question definitely made me cry. I replied, "Sweetie, at this time of the year, angels are really busy, so sometimes God uses regular people." It was so incredible to be part of someone else's miracle. And of course you guessed it when I got into my car, it started right away. And got me home with no problem. I'll put it in the shop tomorrow to check. But I suspect the mechanic won't find anything wrong. 09/23/2026 A man who had two sons. He was very disturbed about them. One was a pessimist beyond recall. The other one was an optimist beyond reason. He talked to a child's psychiatrist, who made a suggestion. He said, "I think we can fix that. We'll get a room and we'll fill it with the most wonderful toys any boy ever had. We'll put the pessimist in that room and when he finds out there for him, he'll get over being a pessimist." The man then asked, "What do you do about the optimist?" The psychiatrist replied, "I have a friend who's got a racing stable, and they clean out the stalls every morning. I can get quite an amount of that substance those horses create. We'll put that in another room, and when the optimist, who's seen his brother get all those toys, is then shown into that room. And that's where he'll get over being an optimist." Well, they did what the psychiatrist asked. They waited about five minutes, and then they opened the door. The pessimist was sitting there crying, as if his heart would break, he said, "I know somebody's going to come in and take these away from me." They went down to the other room, and they opened door and there was that kid happy as a clam, throwing that stuff over his shoulders as fast as he could, and they asked, "What are you doing?" He replied, "There has to be a pony in here. I am looking for it."
