God’s Big Push to Get Gangs into his Kingdom

When God had me start witnessing to gangs, I was many times beaten and told to go away. They wanted nothing to do with me or Jesus Christ. I have people pray for me for protection, so I never was severely beaten. But as time progressed, Blue Mustang made specific prayers against what was happening to me. The first thing he prayed for was that they would quit using me as a basketball when would throw me in the back of my pickup. After he prayed that the violence against me stopped. But many times, while I was reading God’s word to them, one of their men would have their pistol pointed at me at the back of my head and the gangs themselves would have their pistols drawn. Blue Mustang then prayed that whenever I pulled my Bible out of my truck, that would be a sign for the gangs to put their pistols away.

The gangs immediately began putting their pistols aways when I reached for my Bible and carried it in my hand. It was so cool when they would simultaneously put their pistols back into their holsters. I was beginning to enjoy this not being hit or having pistols drawn on me while I am witnessing to these men.

God usually has me witnessing to the gangs in the Denver area. Because he physically brings them to me. But from time to time, he lets me leave to the area to go other major cities. I only do it when he tells me so. I finally had an opportunity to go. I told Blue Mustang that God is wanting me to go to Chicago, New Jersey, and New York to witness to the gangs there for two days.

The MS13 gang in Chicago had the reputation of being one of the meanest gangs in the United States. Blue Mustang made a special prayer and prayed that when I got there that the gangs would be in a state of confusion when I arrived.

The undercover police in Chicago gave me a vehicle to go into the neighborhood where these guys were residing. Before I left the building, the undercover police were taking a pool on how many bullet holes there would be in the car when I brought it back. Before I entered the neighborhood, God had me open my Bible to Isaiah 41:10 and place it on the windshield under the wiper. It was a war zone here just as you would see it in a movie.

I finally arrived where they were at and low and behold, they had their pistols put away. These guys were totally confused and they begin asking me for help. They’ve been in a fog starting the day that Blue Mustang prayed that prayer. I’ve never ever witnessed to gangs in these big cities like this because of the power of prayer. I had trouble keeping from laughing because I knew what happened. I said, “Let me pray for you for peace.”

As I began praying for each man, the fog that took over their minds began to disappear, and they became peaceful in spirit. This was all that it took for them to want to give their hearts to Jesus Christ. Almost all gangs are formed because of broken relationship between the father and the sun. These guys began calling home and found out that their dads have quit being alcoholics and druggies. Many of them were Christians. This further excited them so that they wanted to go home because it was dangerous where they were at constantly watching for gunfire. Soon the family members of the boys came and began picking them up. Many tears were shed as families became united again. The Holy Spirit was so powerful that everyone there gave or rededicated their heart to Jesus Christ.

By the way I always brought the cars back with zero bullet holes. Those in law enforcement that understand the protection our King gives his servants always bet zero and win the money pool.

Exactly the same thing happened to the gangs in New Jersey and New York. God placed a fog over their minds. And they were anxious to get away from that. I have never been able to do that all the time. I’ve been witnessing to these gangs in these other cities before. There has been nothing like this ever. I have heard that God is making a great hunger over the nations for him. And that possibly could be the reason why these gangs are so interested in talking about God. But for me because I witnessed a change every time Blue Mustang prayed. That change was immediately. I firmly believe that the power of prayer was also the solution. Blue Mustang kept praying that same prayer to the gangs when I came back. They would become also confused wondering about their future. As of this writing they have been wondering about their life and where they are going.

God has burned in their hearts to figure out that something is missing in their lives. Many times, they were searching for me even though I did not know them. The gangs that I do not know found out who I was from other gangs who shared things about me and my love to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the gangs. Those gangs even stood up for me and said, “You leave him alone because he will not hurt you and he usually has food.”

The fact that I can feed them is because of the wonderful help that I have behind the scenes.

God had me had me do something new. He has asked me to have the gang members write down messages on notepads so that they could give their thoughts to their parents and their siblings. This has made them think about family and wanting to go home. When they deliver their notes to their families, they begin to find out that their dads have changed and many of them became Christians. Like I always say, I’m only the Messenger and God gets the Glory and the Victory. Unless the Holy Spirit prepares their hearts for me, my message will not reach their hearts.

The gangs are becoming more hungry for God each week. In the first week of October, a total of 12 gangs have given their hearts to Jesus Christ. What was strange about all this is that many of these gangs were enemies of each other. But they still came together and began asking each other questions. They wanted me to meet them to discuss things further about the promises of God. This is the largest group of men that God has sent me, and they all gave their hearts to Jesus Christ.

High Class Prostitutes Give Lives to Jesus Christ

While I am out on the streets, God will have me witness to the prostitutes.  Jesus Christs love is for everyone. There was one organization that whenever I spoke to the girls, they would grab hold of me and slam me up against the wall. They would tell me that I do not want to hear anything you might have to say. We want you to leave now or we will put a big hurt on you. My King would not allow me to give up on them. From time to time, I was able to sneak one of my ministry cards into the hand of one of the girls hoping maybe they would call me later.

It was Wednesday night, and I was about ready to head down to Denver for the highway patrol women’s Bible study.  As I was nearing my destination, one of the girls in the organization called me. She said, “Sonny seventeen of us want to leave the organization. Tonight, they are going to have a meeting at 7 p.m. in the upper floor of the building and that would be a good opportunity for us to escape. The east door is always locked from the outside and is not watched very much. Tonight, all the security will be in the camera room.”

I replied, “I will make arrangements to get you at that time.  I will be driving a white van. When the power goes out you come out immediately. They may have generators that may restore power within five minutes.”

I went down to my undercover friends and picked up the van because they were too many to fit in my pickup. These guys always support me whenever I do these types of missions. They have an expert there who can shut down any block in town at my request. I just have to let him know what for.  As I headed towards the girls’ building, they followed behind me with their vehicles. They had sharp shooters who could help if somebody started shooting. When 7 p.m. arrived, the expert killed the power for that entire block. When everything went dark, the girls immediately proceeded out the door and they jumped into the open door that I had for them as I drove by the door. At first, it did not seem real to them. But then they began to realize that they were about to become free. They begin kissing me all over my face for picking them up and getting them out of this organization. Because of the scamdemic, the girls were required to stay confined all the time. They could never leave the facility except when making money for their pimps.

The police wanted to furnish their own driver for the van to bring the girls back. But the girls did not trust anyone else to drive but me.  No matter who I deal with in this ministry, there is what they call a lack of trust from anybody. You have to earn their trust. I also know that the Holy Spirit helps me gain the trust of these men and women. We began driving off even before the door was closed. it is advantageous to get as far away as possible from the pick up point. After we drove a safe distance from the scene, the undercover police took the phones that the girls had and kept them. All organizations who deal in prostitution have locators in the girl’s phone so that they can be found and recaptured. The police used this to their advantage and arrested all the men when they came to pick up the phones. The rest of the men that remained in the building were also arrested for prostitution. After the men were booked, the girls went into behind one way mirror and were asked to pick out the guys who were taking advantage of them. As the night continued all seventeen girls gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. It was a very emotional time for the parents as they came for their daughters. All of the parents have now accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. A lot of tears were shed tonight as everyone came together. Before I left one of the policewomen showed me my face in a mirror. She began wiping all the lipstick off.

God always gives me the go before I do this. He always makes sure that I don’t have anybody noticing what is going on. I have done this many times and we have never been in danger of somebody catching us in the act. Only the power of God can guarantee that a situation like this will always occur with this outcome.

Mexican Mafia Standoff

It is Tuesday night and normally I go to the college to meet with the college students. But not tonight, I received a call from Victor who was the leader of one of the drug cartels that I’ve been witnessing too down in Denver, Colorado. He said, “I am being surrounded by Mexican mafia. Paco the leader is threatening me to get out of town willingly or by casket. He reminded me of the time that when you said, ‘Now is the time to give your life to Jesus Christ, because tomorrow is never promised not even for me.’ I began to realize that I was in a dangerous situation, and I may not live through the night. Your words penetrated my heart. My men and I are ready to accept Jesus Christ. We are all tired of living this kind of life.”

God told me to go and meet Victor where the action was. The undercover police gave me sniper reinforcement in case anything went wrong. They got to see everything that God was about to do. When I arrived at Victor’s building, it was surrounded by men from the Mexican mafia. God told me to go into the building, he made me invisible to Paco’s men. I physically walked between all of Paco’s men unrecognized. When I got inside of the building, I noticed that Paco and Victor were talking to each other. Paco was threatening Victor with death if he did not leave the city. He told them that this is our city, and we don’t want you here.

I walked up to them while they were speaking. I turned my head towards Victor and said, “Victor, I am here as you asked and I am ready to pray for you and your men.”

I surprise Paco because he was wondering how I got passed all of his men. He asked, “How did you get in here? You do not have any backup.”

I replied, “God’s Kingdom sent me here and his Kingdom is here with me right now.”

This made Paco nervous because he was thinking that I came directly from heaven. Paco said, “You know you’re not going to be able to leave this room.”

You should have seen the weapons these guys had on them. Being a gun enthusiast myself, I did not recognize what they were carrying. I replied, “If you are going to do something to me, I would like to pray for you and your men first. Victor asked me to come here because he is ready to give his life to Jesus Christ. Do you know where you are going?”

Paco was not sure what I was talking about. But I continued, “Jesus Christ is the answer. Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow is never promised not even for me.”

This really shook Paco up. Because he remembered that his grandma said exactly the same thing to him 3 years ago. She also said that there would be a man who would come and witness to you and would say the exact same thing as I told you. That warning will be the last one you will get. You will regret not doing something about it.

I then asked Paco, “Are you are a good swimmer because presently your destination is the Lake of Fire?”

By now Paco’s men have all put their weapons away. Because of what Blue Mustang prayed over me months ago neither side had directly pointed their weapons at me. Paco was still holding his pistol and begin asking his men what they were doing. But then he began to realize that they were making the right choice and he immediately put his pistol away. Both sides began to start asking questions about God, the Holy Spirit and anything to do with God.

I spoke to Paco and said, “You have a great hatred for you dad. You need to forgive your dad before you do anything else.”

Paco and his men began calling their dads discovering that they have all changed to men they should be. They then beginning to ask for forgiveness from their parents for the things they had done to them. Many of Pacos men kept their phones on so that their dads could hear them giving their hearts to Jesus Christ. 11 of the dad’s gave their hearts to Jesus Christ as their sons did while they listened.

I was there with both organizations till 3 AM talking to them about the Lord. Pacos’s men were anxious to get back to Mexico to start their new lives in Christ at home. Victor wanted to bring his family to meet with me tomorrow afternoon.

It was so cool how the Holy Spirt came across both organization and softened their hearts so quickly. I am beginning to see that God’s glory is being revealed in this ministry he gave me. His glory is so mighty that hearts are changing at record speed. It is nothing that I did but is from the great love Jesus has for these men. They were all broken and were ready for just what happened. There is never a dull moment watching the Father, his Son and the Holy Spirit work in this ministry of theirs.

Shopping Cart in the Park

The first family that Blue Mustang blessed in ghetto was Samuel and his daughter Lydia. One day they had a grocery cart from King Soopers filled with groceries and they rolled it to their home to deliver their groceries to their home.

They begin taking the cart back and Lydia turned to her dad and said, “You know that there are so many people who are praying for food at the grocery store over the carts. We should leave a cart here in the park so that families will have an opportunity to pray over a cart here in the park.”

Lydia began to anoint their grocery cart for a plan God put in her heart. She prayed over it that no man can remove this cart except those praying over it for food. So, if anyone comes to this park hungry, they can pray over this cart and expect a miracle.

The Holy Spirit would begin to draw Samuel and Lydia to go take a walk to the park when a family was to begin praying. Each week they see a family praying over this cart. Samuel would go down to the family and greet them. He too would pray over the families. He would then tell them to bring the grocery car cart back to the King Soopers store on Saturday and expect a miracle. In the meantime, he would give of his own needs to bless the families.

The families would wait until Saturday and pick that cart up which is always there. When they arrive at the store with it, they are then prayed over by other families who have been blessed by Blue Mustang worshiping God at the grocery store. After receiving the blessing, the families would use that cart to buy their food. After unloading their food in a car or directly in their home, they would take the cart back to the park and place it exactly as they found it.

This has been going on for several months now. That grocery cart is still waiting there. Blue Mustang was curious to know if anyone has tried to take that cart. I said to him that I would go and ask the homeless that I know very well and ask them what they know about the grocery cart.

The first person I came into contact with was Noah. I asked him if he saw anyone go near that cart. Noah said, “When I first saw that cart, I tried to take it. Those carts make it easy to haul my stuff around. But when I tried to grab hold of the cart, it shocked me so hard that I fell down on my back. I immediately told my friend Jeremiah what happened. He did not believe me. Just to prove me wrong, he grabbed hold of the cart. It immediately set him on his butt too. I have seen families that go to that cart and pray over that cart and do not get shocked like we do.”

I said, “That cart has been anointed to be used to bless families who are hungry. God is protecting that cart.”

The homeless guys didn’t really believe me, so I grabbed hold of that cart and began to move it back and forth with no results. The homeless then asked, “Why did you not get shocked?”

I replied, “God knows my heart. He knows that I have no desire to move this cart from this spot. Lydia prayed over this cart that no man could move this cart except families who are hungry.”

After I moved the cart, Jeremiah thought that the force field was gone. But as he immediately grabbed hold of the cart, he was shocked greatly where he fell backwards on his rear end. Both now firmly believe that God has plans for this cart. In fact, the two men have been protecting the cart by warning people about the danger of touching that cart. Many do not believe them, and they usually go up and touch the cart and immediately get shocked. As of this writing, the cart is still there. It is blessing hungry families each week and glorifying God. Not only God but glorifying the community. Only God knows how long this grocery cart will continue to bless families.

Homeless Attack Families

It was a typical Saturday and God blessed two more families in the ghetto after they with the past families, worshiped him for over one hour. Most families that live in the ghetto do not have a lot of money. Neither one of these families could afford a car, so the manager of the King Soopers store gave them permission to take their groceries home in the grocery carts. They told the manager that they would go home and unload the groceries and bring them back right away.

As the families were about to leave the parking lot, four men came up to them and said that we are going to forcibly take the groceries in their carts. Both families were Christians but were caught off guard. Lydia and her dad were the closest to them. Lydia said, “We need to pray for those men.” Her dad agreed and quickly greeted the men and said, “Before you harm anyone, can we pray for you guys?” Whenever you let someone who has the power of the Holy Spirit pray over you, it will change your life. The men gave them permission to pray for them. Lydia’s dad and each family member began praying over them. Their prayers were being directed by the Holy Spirit which in turn made each man regret what they were about to do.

Finally, one man had enough and said, “I am so sorry that we did this to you. We were just very hungry.” He turned around and began to walk away. His buddies did the same. One of the family members said, “Wait. Why don’t you let us make you some sandwiches for you.”  The families immediately began to look through their carts for the items to prepare sandwiches for them and said, “We too were hungry, and God just blessed us. Now we want to bless you.” The families made them sandwiches using the knives that the men were going to stab them with and chips to go with the sandwiches.

Meanwhile, while this was all going on, the manager of the store was watching everything what just happened.  He came out and asked the men if they would like a job cleaning up the parking lot. He said, “I will give you $100 if you clean this parking lot up.” The men were very excited to take the job. They finished eating with the families and thanked them for what they did. They apologized for threatening them again and went to work.

When I came back a week later, I found out that the men did a good job of cleaning up the parking lot. They must have been observed by other people because they were hired them to clean up other parking lots. One furnished them a place to live. The conditions was that they would deduct their rent from the work they did. These men were very grateful. Jesus Christ gave us the Holy Spirit to give us power. Let’s use that power to change people’s lives.

Gang Asks About Holy Spirit

This Saturday happened to be different. God sent me to a park that was a little further aways than the one I’ve been used to going to. When I arrived at the park, they were just two gangs there. I recognize one of the gangs. The leader of that gang is Carlos. They were just talking to each other. Neither gang was brandishing any weapons. Another thing that was unusual was that the gangs did not park their cars in separate locations just in case they get into a scuffle. It was as though they planned to meet together in peace. I saw Carlos look towards me and he signaled to the other gang that they should go meet with Sonny because he always has food. Both gangs began walking towards me. Both gangs still had their pistols put away. When they got closer, I got out of my pickup and asked if I could have three volunteers. Immediately some of the boys stepped up to help. I had them jump in the back and drag all the coolers and place them on the tailgate and picnic table.

I told them right out, “It is so nice seeing both of your gangs talking to each other and not fighting.”

Carlos replied, “Normally, we always go to the other park but by the time we arrived, there were so many gangs already there, so we decided to come here. We were hoping that you would come here.”

I replied, “It was God that told me that I needed to be here for you.”

Carlos said, “That is so cool the way you hear God’s voice. I would like to hear his voice too.”

I replied, “You can! First you gotta ask Jesus Christ into your heart. After you develop that relationship with him, he will begin to speak to you.”

Carlos said, “We were asking each other questions about the things of God. What does the Holy Spirit mean?”

This question caught me off guard because I have never been asked this by any gang. This opened a huge door for me. I then told him, “God’s Kingdom consists of a Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ had to come to Earth to conquer sin. Within 3 days after being crucified, he came back from the dead to save us from our sins. And when he returned to the Father, he sent the Holy Spirit to give all his children power to do things on this earth for him. Jesus called it the born-again experience. We were born of the flesh through our parents. Now we have the opportunity to be born into the Holy Spirit. This is where the power lies.”

Carlos exclaimed, “So that means he lives inside of us?”

I replied, “Yes and he will help you and transform your heart.”

Carlos then said, “My heart is pretty broken. I do not think he wants to be in there.”

After Carlos said this, I talked about the Holy Spirit for 1.5 hours. Carlos replied, “It would be nice to be able to have a new heart.” He paused for a little bit and said, “I would like to go home but I do not want to go back if my dad is still a drunk.”

I answered, “Why don’t we call home and find out what has been happening.”

Carlos replied, “I have not talked to my dad for over 1.5 years.

I then said, “A lot could have happened by now. You will never know unless you call. Have you ever talked to your mother?”

Carlos replied, “Only on the holidays will I talk to my mom. I avoid anything to do with my dad.”

Carlos finally got up the courage to call his dad. He asked me to stand by him while he began making the call. Both of the gangs became interested in what he was about to do. They all gathered around Carlos as he made his phone call home. His dad answered and was concerned on his son’s wellbeing. Carlos said, “I am doing okay. I am just calling to see how you’re doing. I am thinking of coming home but I do not want to come home if you are still drinking. I will not let you beat me up. I know how to fight now.”

His dad began to tell his son all the things he has done to change his life. Carlos was excited when he heard that his dad hadn’t drank in over a year, given his heart to Jesus Christ and is serving the Lord. Then his dad’s asked, “Son, can you forgive me for all the things that I have done to you.”

Carlos began to tear up when his dad asked him that question. Carlos then turned his phone to private and begin walking away as he continued to talk to his dad. I continued praying with his men until he came back. Many of his men I noticed were beginning to do the same thing Carlos did. They were curious to see if their dads have changed also. When Carlos came back, you could see a difference in his face. He asked, “Sonny, I want to go home but I do not want to go home with a broken heart. I want to accept Jesus Christ into my heart.”

The men from both gangs began to come back and found out their dads have gotten help to quit drinking or in taking drugs. They too were anxious to go home and wanted their hearts transformed before going home. Another thing that was really cool is that these men all wanted to wait for their parents to arrive first. They wanted to give their hearts to Jesus in front of them. They wanted to make sure that they knew what they were doing is real. It did not take long when the first families arrived. I’ve found out that only three of the dad’s that came hadn’t given their hearts to Jesus Christ. I asked them the question, “Do you want your names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? Today is the day salvation and tomorrow is never promised.” After seeing what their sons did, they were ready. I have never seen dad’s and sons that hugged this much. The gangs wanted to get baptized but we did not have a lake or swimming pool to do this, so I used bottled water and pour it over their heads.

Dad’s need to realize the importance they have when it comes to raising a family. Every one of the gangs I’ve have encountered it was the dad’s who caused their sons to run away from home.

On Sunday I met with some new gangs in the park I usually go to in Commerce City. I noticed a single gang that was there. The gang’s t-shirts were red with blood. They were trying to clean themselves up from their last battle. I stopped and got my first aid kit out of my pickup. I had wipes and bandages to put on their cuts. This is the same park where the band aid gang story was created. 9-year-old Lucy saw this new gang and their bloody t-shirts also. She immediately left her home to come over and help. She already had her nurse’s outfit on, and her black bag filled with alcohol, bandages and her stethoscope. She immediately spoke to the gang and said, “I was doing stuff in my yard and noticed all the blood. I just wanted to help you guys recover from your Oweis.” At first the gang was not sure what to think. They looked at her then they looked at me and they looked back at her.

I said, “Guys, she is only here to help you. Just let her take care of you.”

She asked them to all get her in the line and said, “I will take care of you one at a time.” She found a table and got all of the supplies out of her bag and laid them out so that she could take care of their wounds. She would ask each man where their wound was at and then she gave each man a sucker. She told them to put it in their mouth so that when the antiseptic burns they can bite down on it. I could tell that it did burn. I could see each man twitch as she applied the antiseptic. As she took care of each man, she prayed a prayer over each one. She then prescribed that each man should take two showers a day to make sure that they stay clean and clean behind their ears. When each man came up for his turn, she would always give him a big hug and say, “You are going to be ok. God will take care of your owes.” I was watching the men. The minute she released each man, they started grab their phones and started calling someone. They were all calling their families. I found out that every one of them had little brothers and sisters of their own. Each one asked the question, “I wonder what my little and brother or sister is up to?” God used this little girl to minister to these guys while she was taking care of them. It was now time for these guys to give their hearts to Jesus Christ.

When Lucy finished with the last man, she said, “I have to leave now. I’ve taken care of every one of them. They are all God’s children, and they needed to be doctored.”

I said, “Lucy, before you go, I have a gift for you in my pickup. While we went to the pickup, she looked me over to make sure that I was okay and gave me a sucker and a package of cookies for good measure. I reached into my pickup and pulled out a box of band aids that I had picked up. They had poo bear and Snoopy on them. I said, “This is for you so that you will have enough bandages to continue to take care of people.”  Before Lucy left she shared, “You know this was one of the greatest days of my life. I was scared though when I saw the pistols that each one of these men were carrying but I felt God wanted me to take care of these men.” Lucy continued going back home and this gang finished giving their hearts to Jesus Christ. You can listen to the entire story below:

Power of Using the Name of Jesus Christ

This last week God has been doing some amazing things. I was getting hungry for some Chinese food. I found a place in Denver that looked interesting, so I decided to give it a try. As I was beginning to enter the front door, I noticed a Buddha statue off to my right. I started shaking my head back and forth because only Yahweh is real. This is a fake god. A customer there who was sitting outside near the statue observed what I was doing and begin to defend and tell me about buddha. I interjected, “Buddha is a fake god. Our true king is Jesus Christ and his father Yahweh is the true God.”

The customer was about ready to defend himself again but something amazing happened. The 4 ft. statue of Buddha has a large flat bottom and is sitting on a flat slab of stone. I am sure that it weighed at least 400 pounds. This statue began to behave just like a man who was going to worship. That statue gracefully laid face down on the ground and began worshipping Jesus Christ when I mentioned his name. No one can tell me that there isn’t power in the name of Jesus Christ. I witnessed it firsthand. Now shocked, the customer asked, “Did you do that?”

I replied, “I had nothing to do with it. But there is tremendous power in the name of Jesus Christ. In the true God’s word it says that if we do not worship the true God that the stones will worship him. You just witnessed this right now.”

The customer didn’t say anything else and quickly left after witnessing what just happened. I went in and ordered myself some food and did not say anything. I figured that I would give Buddha some time to continue worshiping Jesus Christ. As I left the restaurant, Buddha was still worshipping our King. What else was interesting about this is that when I came back in a few days to get some more food, the statue was gone. I’m firmly believe that every time they tried to set the statue backup, he immediately fell over and begin worshiping Jesus Christ again.

The next miraculous event was to happen in the ghetto. Lately, it has just been the money that Blue mustang gave me that was used to bless the families. This was all about to change. The families are always worshipping God every Saturday morning when I arrive. I always stop and listen to them worship. I feel the Holy Spirit moving while they worship. God loves how they worship and prevents any interruptions from happening including me. He lets me know when to go in.

Lydia saw me and came to get me. I gave her the money to give to the families. When she lays the money on their hands, she says, “The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit” as she lays each bill in their hand. She finishes up by saying, “This bill is for the inflation.” This always makes the families smile. The families then anointed the money. Here is where it became interesting.

When they finished anointing the money, I saw a prostitute walking towards us. I began walking towards here but Lydia ran past me and introduced herself to her and invited her for donuts. She was definitely hungry. When I finally met up to her, I asked her if she needed prayer for herself or some one else.

She said, “I am hungry right now.”

I mentioned the donuts also, but she felt she needed something healthier. She dropped a hint about the King Soopers sub sandwich. I replied, “I will get you what you want and something to drink.”

While I was getting her food, Lydia was talking with her and making friends with her. As she ate Lydia shared Jesus Christ with her. The prostitute began crying with all the love that she was getting. Lydia came up to her and wrapped her arms around her body and gave her a hug. Not only does Lydia radiate with the Holy Spirit but the prostitute said, “I have never experienced a hug like this ever.”

Lydia then asked, “Do you want your name written in the Lamb book of life. Today is the day of salvation.” The prostitute decided that she wanted to give her heart to Jesus Christ.

I then asked her if she wanted to go home. The prostitute said, “I don’t think my parents will want me back.”

I replied, “Why don’t we call and ask them.” When she called her parents, they began crying that their daughter was coming back home.

They excitedly said, “We are coming to get you.” They must have dropped everything because they were here in fifteen minutes. When her parents looked around with all the families that were here, they asked, “What’s going on here.”

I told them about the ministry of Blue Mustang and how God has given money to all of the families here. They said, “That is so cool!” But now this began the ripple effect of giving money to these families. The prostitute’s parents said, “We want to pay for the groceries of these two families. They can use the money that Blue Mustang gave them for something else.” After they bought groceries for the families, they asked them if there’s anything else that they need assistance with. Both families had most everything covered. One family had a car insurance bill due and a small credit card debt. The other family had a rent payment due and also had a small debt. Those parents of the prostitute made arrangements to take care of the one family’s car insurance and credit card payment. They then made arrangements to meet with the Landlord and finish paying this month’s rent and next month’s rent.

Wow, God worked many miracles today. The faith of these two families has been restored. A prostitute is now a child of God and Jesus has forgiven her sins so she can freely serve him away from her past life. God made it all happen. He gets the Glory and Victory. But I get to witness it all.

Bandaid Gang

I was in the park at Commerce City and I just got through witnessing to a gang. As I was waiting for another gang to show up, I looked around the park and noticed it was empty.  I decided to get a blanket and lay down for a little bit where I fell asleep. All of a sudden, I remember starting to wake up and smelling peanut butter in my nose. When I was fully awake, I could tell that it was Lydia. She is a six-year-old girl that lives next to the park right across the street. I have met her and her family before. Lydia had shared with me before that she wants to become a nurse.

I said, “Hi Lydia.”

She replied, “I saw that gang leave and I noticed that you were resting so I decided to bring you some sandwiches.” Lydia brought me both a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a smoked turkey sandwich with a glass of milk. What was interesting was when she put the sandwiches together that she crossed the breads. I had the jelly bread on the smoke turkey sandwitch and the mayonnaise and mustard on the peanut butter sandwich. I did not make a big deal of it and I just switched the breads.

As I began eating I asked Lydia what I could do for her. Lydia replied, “You can pray for me so that when I get older that I can become a nurse.” She paused and looked me over and said, “Sonny, it looks like you’ve been banged up a little bit.”

I replied, “Yes but it wasn’t too bad. The last gang treated me well.”

She replied, “I still think I need to put a bandage on your owie.” She reached into her black bag put one Band-Aid on my arm and another one on my face. She then asked, “What do you say to the gangs when you speak to them?”

I said, “The first thing I do is I tell them that Jesus loves them. Then I asked them if they have any prayer requests. If they don’t have any, I immediately read John 3:16 to them telling about how much God loves them.” As I continued talking to her about how Jesus died for us, she exclaimed, “Yeah, he rose in three days; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

I replied, “That is really good.” I just now realized that another gang was coming. I became nervous and said to myself that I need to get Lydia out of here. God immediately said, “Do not worry about it. I have thinks taken care of.” Even though God never tells me anything that he doesn’t have control of, it is still concerning when you saw the pistols that these boys were carrying.

The gang leader Leroy asked, “Did you bring your granddaughter or something?”

I replied, “Yeah, that’s what I’m doing.”

Lydia checked Leroy out then said, “I see that your arm is cut. Are you OK?” It it was so cute because she was dressed up in her little nurse’s outfit carrying a black bag. She mentioned to the rest of the gang that they needed to sit down on this picnic table so that she could give them a physical. Definitely was interesting when Leroys gang all got in a line to be examined. So these boys begin to sit down on the picnic table one by one without any hesitancy. She had her stethoscope on and she was listening to their hearts she asked each man to take a deep breath.

When the gang approached, they were looking tough but as this little girl began to speak to them they begin to behave more like little boys. She began to share with each one that Jesus Christ loves them. She was using the earpiece in one of the men ears and said, “Man you have dirty ears. You need to take a shower and clean up all that junk off.”

They were all laughing as she was giving her diagnosis. They were not doing anything to her because they thought she was with me. All of Leroy’s men had some form of injuries on them because of all the fighting they do. So Lydia wanted to make sure that they were covered with a Band-Aid. All of the Band-Aids she had had Winnie the Pooh and Snoopy on them. One of the men had a major scuffle with another gang. When she saw his large cut, she got out her alcohol kit and scrubbed it down to disinfect it. Even though it happened a couple of days ago you could see him grit his teeth as the alcohol burned into the wound. She was just like a real nurse with her little rubber gloves on getting the band aids ready to place on his wounds. She did not have any tongue depressors, so she just used suckers to put on their tongue so that she could inspect their throats. She then said you can keep the sucker. She finished up with all of them said, “Most of you passed your physicals but the rest of you will have to have surgery it you’re gonna make it.” It was so cool watching this entire game stand in a line waiting their turn to get their physical. I have never seen anything like this ever. I looked over at her house to see what her parents were up to. I could see her parents watching from their porch. I knew they were concerned but they were laughing as they watched all this unfold. All seventeen boys got at least one band aid. She even scheduled a heart surgery for one of them. She said, “I could not find your heart listing to it in the stethoscope so I am going to have to investigate you. We may have to put a heart in for you.”

He was definitely roaring with laughter as she made her diagnosis. He then asked, “Can I get one of those Winnie the Pooh Band-Aids.”

She said, “Sure, but it looks like you have two owies. You may need two of them.” She reached in and grabbed two Pooh Band-Aids out of her black bag and placed them on his wounds.”

When she finished up with the last man she said, “I have to go now. I have a surgery scheduled that I have to be at.” Again these boys were just roaring with laughter. As she began walking away, all of a sudden she turned around and came back. She said, “I forgot to pray for you guys.” She then had everybody get around the picnic table and asked them to take their caps off. Every man took his cap off and closed their eyes as she began praying John 3:16 over them. She then prayed for their hearts and that God would heal them. When she finished the last of her prayers, she began walking away. I was watching the men all the time and noticed tears welling up in some of their eyes. Jerome, one of the members of the gang, came over and said, “Sonny, you know that little girl stole my heart. When I ran away from home my little sister was six years old. I have not seen her in two years and my heart is going crazy right now.”

I replied, “Maybe you ought to call her and talk to her.”

Jerome then said, “I will do that.” As he began calling home, some of his men did the same thing they began dialing home to talk to their parents. Some of the men were still hesitant so I began praying for them and reading more Bible verses to them. I then asked those who finished talking to their folks what happened. They all begin reporting that their dads have quit drinking and they’re living new lives. That was enough to make sure that everyone wanted to call home now. They all said, “We want to go home but we do not want to go home with angry hearts. I want to go home healed.” Leroy was the last to decide. He shared with me that he had not talked to his dad in five years. I said, “Well, why don’t you call him and find out.”

Leroy didn’t ask me if I could stand with him when he called home. He was ready. When his dad answered the phone was on speaker. The first thing his dad asked if he was OK. Leroy said, “Everything is fine but dad I am trying to find out if you are still having a drinking problem.”

His dad replied, “I have not drank since you left home five years ago. I received help and counseling from my pastor. I have given my heart to Jesus Christ and I have been praying for you.”

Leroy’s mom said, “Your dad cried for days when you left. He has given up drinking forever.”

Leroy then said, “I think I want to come home.”

His mom replied, “Your room is just as you left it five years ago. Give me your address because we want to come and get you.”

There was almost a hundred eighty people there when everybody showed up to pick up their sons. All the men gave their hearts to Jesus Christ along with their families. A little 6-year-old girl who wanted to be a nurse brought a gang to Jesus Christ. You can listen to the entire story below:

Meeting with a Drug Cartel

There is a drug cartel in Denver that has posted a bounty on my life. God said that it was time for me to tell them about Jesus Christ. He had me bring some pizzas to their headquarters. When I got there, I was amazed on how big and beautiful the building was where they hung out. When I arrived at the door, I was questioned what I was up to.

I said, “I have pizzas to deliver to your boss.”

They checked with the boss to see what they should do with me. With a surprised look, the said, “The boss told us to bring you to him.”

I went clear up to the seventh floor. His men led me and the pizzas directly into his office. They inspected the pizzas and he then asked who I was. I said, “I am Sonny. I am the man you are looking for.”

The boss replied, “You know that you should never have come here. You are going to die for what you have done to us.”

I responded, “Let me pray for you guys before you do anything to me. After I am finished praying for you, you can do whatever you want to me.” The boss was dumbfounded by my answer but he let me pray for everybody. I even did prayer requests. At the end, it did not matter whether I brought them pizza or not, he had me thrown out the 7th floor window.

As I was flying out the window, I said to myself, “Sonny, this is it.”

God quickly replied, “What makes you think so? Look to your left!”

I noticed what appeared to be a landscape truck pulling a trailer. They were driving down the alley towards me. As I was was falling faster towards the ground their trailer moved into my point of impact. It was funny, one of the men inside the truck was looking around to see where they were at and noticed me falling. He yelled, “There is something falling from the building above us.”

I roughly landed in the back of their trailer. It was interesting how they had placed the sticks and branches underneath and placed a soft layer of grass on top where I landed. I immediately got up and got out of their trailer. The guys were puzzled and could not figure out what was going on.

I exclaimed, “Thanks for catching me! I was talking to a drug cartel about Jesus Christ and they threw me out the 7th story window.”

The driver said, “We weren’t even supposed to come down this alley. Somehow, we just made a wrong turn and ended up here.”

I replied, “God caused you to make this error to rescue me.”

The men thought about what I said and asked, “We need to know the God that you know. What should we do?”

I replied, “Just ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and to give your hearts to him. After that, just start living for him.” I prayed for these guys as they turned their hearts over to Jesus Christ. I then said, “I need to go back and talk to the drug cartel again.”

The men said, “You are crazy! They just threw you out the window and you’re going to go see them again.”

I replied, “God decides the timing of my death. No man can do that. As long as God has need of me he on this earth, he will always protect me from anything that will harm me.”

Those landscapers watched me with amazement as I walked back around the building to go through the doors again. They kept watching me until I walked around the corner. They then got in their truck and left. Boy, you should’ve seen the looks on the security guys when I came walking up to the door unharmed. I said, “I need to see your boss again. God wants me to tell him again that Jesus Christ loves him.”

They proceeded to take me up back to his office. That boss thought he saw a ghost because he knew that it was impossible for anyone to survive that fall. I began to explain to him what it was like to have a God who protects you and how he sent that landscaping crew to come and rescue me. He began to realize that I serve an awesome God and he and his organization decided that they didn’t want to do this life anymore. He really did not like the fact that they were hurting people and he was ready to give his heart to Jesus Christ. The rest of his men also gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. God has removed another drug cartel from the city of Denver. God gets the glory and the victory on what just happened. I just get to see it. Oh by the way, they removed the price they had on my life.

3 Gangs Asking Questions About God

It is another Saturday and God had me head back down to Commerce City. It was starting out to be a nice brisk sunshiny day. What was your unusual about today was not the fact that I was going witness to three gangs, but they were all parked on the same side of the park. They just don’t do that. They separate their cars, so they do not get damaged. Usually if the gangs come together, it is because they’re going to fight. Normally they try to respect each other by staying for as far away from each other is possible. The first thing that came to my mind, “Lord this looks like this could be nasty. You need to take over.”

God then replied, “You don’t know what’s going to happen. Why are you even thinking that? I want you to take them my Kingdom.”

I proceeded to get out of my pickup and walked toward the gangs. I noticed that the gang leaders were standing in the center. They began looking at me as I was walking towards them. Once I was in talking range, they kindly said, “Good morning, Sonny we have been looking for you. We went to the other park, and you weren’t there so we decided to come back here to see if you happen to come later. In the my times of doing gang ministry, I’ve never seen this happen before. I know these guys very well and they are enemies of each other. But all three of them said, “We need to ask you some questions.” I noticed that they did not have any weapons of any sort shown or other hostility of any kind was even seen.

I then silently asked, “God what is going on here.”

He replied, “Their hearts are ready for you to receive my message.”

I then asked them, “What kind of questions do you guys have for me?

The leaders replied, “We remember you talking about the forgiveness of sins. We are wondering if God can really forgive us for all the things that we have done. We were over at one of the parks and we noticed all the families with their children playing together in the park. We begin thinking about what it would be like to go back home. We want to have changed hearts before going home.”

The leader Niki spoke up and said, “Sonny I have not forget gotten that verse of John 3:16. Is that true that Jesus got beat up like that and was crucified just for us. It’s hard to imagine someone doing that. Then he rose again just for me.”

I then explained to Niki the parable of the 100 sheep. The shepherd left the 99 to go after the one that was missing. Jesus Christ wants all of you guys to come back to his flock.

Nikki then said, “I am the missing sheep. My mom she said I was the prodigal son.  It is hard to be out in these parks trying to stay safe. We are always hungry.  We are always pressured by the cartels to sell drugs. We always remember what you have said that this is all temporary, but Jesus Christ is eternal. It’s lonely out here.”

The gangs all shared with me that they have not fought with each other for over a month. But the one thing we don’t want to do is go back to broken homes. Almost all of them came from families where the dad was either an alcoholic or a druggie. Those addictions drove them to leave. They all said, “We do not want to go back to homes that are like that.”

I replied, “God does not want you to do that either. But have any of you talk to your dad slightly lately.”

Nikki said, “No, but I talk to my mom’s once in a while.” Nikki represented all the gangs and did most of the talking. The other two leaders were Marty and Jerome.

I then replied, “You guys need to call your parents. This is the only way you’re going to find out if your dad has changed.”

Nikki was nervous and asked, “Sonny could you walk with me over to my car? I will call my dad first. But if my dad is still an alcoholic, what should I do.”

I replied, “Why don’t we just pray for him now. I will be with you. You won’t have to call him alone. I will even pray for him.”

When he called his parents, his dad answered the phone and asked, “Nikki are you okay?” His response is typical since Nikki hasn’t called them in such a long time. The first thing that his dad thought maybe he was hurt.

As Nikki listened his dad and said, “You’re not drunk today.”

His dad replied, “When you left 6 1/2 years ago, I change my life and quit drinking. When you left was all it took for me to stop. I have given my life to Jesus Christ. We are doing church and involved in church activities.” There was a slight pause then his dad asked, ” Nikki can you forgive me for all the things that I did to you when he was an alcoholic.”

Nikki then began crying and walked away talking with his dad on the phone. God said, “Let them go Nikki needs to spend time talking to his dad.”

Marty then came over and said, “I want to call my dad.” After the leaders began having conversation to their parents the other men in the gangs began calling their parents. They all agreed that they would never go home if their dads have not changed. They all begin finding out that when they ran away from home that major changes were made inside their family life. Most of their parents already have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. As the day progressed, a whole bunch car began showing up. The men communicated to their parents they wanted to go home. The parents were anxious to come and get them. It is amazing how many of them went home to their rooms that were left exactly as they were when they left home.

I do not know how many people were there, but I gave away 300 Bibles that day to people so they could read about God’s word. After everybody arrived, I climbed on the back of my truck, and I asked those who were Christians to go on the left-hand side of my truck and everybody else to stand on my right-hand side of my pickup. I then asked, “Those of you that haven’t accepted Jesus Christ do you want your names written in the Lamb’s book of life. This would be a good time to do so. Tomorrow is never promised.”

Everybody there gave their hearts to Jesus Christ that hadn’t made the commitment. There was a lot of crying going on not only because of uniting with their sons but that excitement of becoming part of Jesus Christ. As everybody got to know each other better, the families who had been Christians for a while began to share with those parents who haven’t about their church and how their sons can get connected with the youth groups to encourage their new walk with Jesus Christ. This way the boys can still see each other like they were in the gangs. It is very important that all people who come to Jesus Christ are discipled in some way or another to not be distracted by the evil things going on in the earth.

The gang leaders began coming to me and telling me that they are grateful that I never gave up on them.

I replied, “God has never given up on me. Just as he never given up on me, I am not going to give up on you.”

Three days later these boys all got baptized at the boy’s club swimming pool. These guys ate 14 dozen burritos with all of the Dr Pepper that I brought. Boy, gangs sure do love Dr. Pepper. One of the most interesting things about this story is that my favorite gangster is Lorenzo from San Jose California. He comes to Denver and is now the most respectful gang I would say in Denver. When one of the gangs asked him where I was at, he said, “I know where he is at but if I find out that you are going to try to hurt him, I am going to hurt you and I am going to sell all your cars.”

The gangs have respect and fear for Lorenzo. The leader replied, “No, I am not going to hurt him. We just want to ask questions about Jesus Christ.”

Lorenzo shared with me that his grandfather just gave his heart to Jesus Christ. He shared with me that he is the last black sheep in the family. But it is interesting that Lorenzo’s famous last words to one of the gang members was, “If you give your heart to Jesus, you will begin to love people.” This is very unusual for a gangster to say this but I have been planting so much seed in this guys life. He is not that far away. You can listen to the entire story below:
