Saving Four Dallas Gangs

I was told by my Dallas Texas informers that there was a gang looking for me. This is a difficult gang that the Dallas boy’s, Hector and Victor, have been witnessing to for a couple years. The Dallas boys are men I witnessed to a couple years ago in Denver. They went back home to Dallas and wanted to reach the gangs in their city for Jesus Christ. Hector and Victor have not been able to crack these guys. They have continually resisted accepting Jesus Christ. The gang told Hector and Victor that they wanted to meet me so we can put a hurt on him. They did not like what I did to Hector and Victor. Two weeks ago, with my King’s approval, I left for Dallas to meet their meanest gang. Their leader wasn’t there because he was with his sick grandmother. When I walked up to them, they asked, “What are you doing?”

I said, “I came to tell you that Jesus Christ loves you guys. Jesus Christ also wants your hearts. My name is Sonny. I am the person that you guys are looking for.”

They said, “You are going to get hurt here.” They were looking at each other because their leader was gone and he was wanting to personally put a hurt on me. They were wondering if they should wait.

I said, “Let me pray for all of you before you guys hurt me.” As I was praying and putting crosses on them, I asked them if they wanted their names written in the Lambs Book of Life.

They kept saying over and over, “When you put crosses on our necks we couldn’t move while you were praying for us.” The leader, who they call Estevan, arrived while I was praying for his gang. He looked very sad. He just got through visiting with his sick grandma.

He said, “We have heard a lot about you and we have been waiting to meet you.” Then he asked, “Can God really forgive us of all our sins because we have done a lot of bad things? Victor and Hector have been speaking to us and telling us that Jesus Christ loves you guys and wants to transform your hearts.”

While I was talking to Estevan, Hector and Victor showed up. Estevan looked at Hector and Victor. He said, “You guys became Christians now because of Sonny.”

Hector and Victor said, “Yes, that is true.” Then they said, “Just like Sonny, we are here to tell you about Jesus Christ.”

Estevan sternly said, “I told you guys that if Sonny comes around here we are going to hurt him.”

I said, “I’m right here. But before you hurt me, let me pray for you. I have already prayed for all your boys. I just want to pray for you.”

Estevan said, “Go ahead and pray for me.” The Holy Spirit revealed to me that his heart used to belong to God when he was 14 but his Dad destroyed it when he packed up one night and drove away without saying goodbye. He never said why he was leaving them. Estevan was 17 when he started his own Gang. Out of anger and bitterness, he made his gang the meanest gang in Dallas. I prayed over Estevan, “Father God you know what Estevan has been through. His Father drove away and he never looked back. Father God bring healing to his heart and his mind. Father I ask that you would show him how much you love him and that you will never leave him nor forsake him. I ask for this in Jesus Christ’s Holy name. Amen.”

As soon as I was finished praying for Estevan, I could see tears coming down his face. He knew that only my King would know his story. Estevan said, “I want to know the God you know. While you were praying for me, I wanted to hurt you so bad but I couldn’t move. Your the only one that has gotten this close to my gang without getting hurt.”

I said, “My King didn’t want you to move so that you would have to hear my entire prayer for you. He loves you very much and wants your heart. The Victory belongs to my King.”

Estevan said, “Can God really forgive me of all my sins?”

I said, “Yes, but first you have to ask Jesus Christ to forgive you and ask him to come into your heart.” After Estevan’s 21 men saw what happened to him, they too gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. I told them God is so Faithful. The Holy Spirit has confirmed that all of your names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. My King gets the Victory. They all called their parents and are going home with their parents.

Estevan called his Mom and we had a chance to talk to the Grandmother. Estevan and I took turns praying for his grandmother. Two days later they released her from the hospital. Later Estevan went to visit his family and his Grandparents. Our story is not yet finished.

Before I arrived in Dallas. Hector and Victor we’re wanting to find a place to celebrate when I came and they were at this park to think. They were praying as they were walking around the park. After they completed 7 revolutions, the King stopped them and said, “Stop right here. I want you to prepare a feast before your enemies here.” Both men loudly heard the same thing. They said to each other, “This is the spot.” They scheduled the celebration on the day of my arrival. Estevan’s gang would be here today with us.

When Hector and Victor’s families started to pull up, they had a flat bed trailer loaded with sound equipment. They set up the speakers and hooked up the microphones. Estevan and his boys introduced me to their families. Soon the food started to come out. Everyone was getting ready to eat. My King directed my eyes to the other side of the park. He showed me the two gangs hanging out there. Normally, this park is a war zone. The gangs were curious to see what was going on. They could see and smell all the food cooking. The kids and adults were having fun together. Both gangs were gradually starting to inch towards us to get a closer look. I said, “Hector and Victor, my King wants me to witness to those gangs.”

They asked, “Do you want us to come with you.”

I said, “No, you just keep doing what you are doing. It will be better if I go by myself.”

They replied, “Before you go Sonny, let’s pray for you and the hearts of those gangs.” After they prayed for me, I started to walk towards the gangs. When I started closing in on them, both gangs started to walk towards me. They said, “What do you want?”

I said, ” I am here to tell you that Jesus Christ loves you.”

I am not sure if they really heard what I said because their curiosity was just too high. They then asked me, “What is going on over there? What are all these kids doing here? Don’t they know this is a war zone. Those kids are going to get hurt.”

I said, “This is not about fighting. This is a feast. My King is protecting the celebration as I am speaking to you. He asked us to prepare a feast before my enemies.”

I then said, “Come with me because we are having a feast over there but put all your weapons away. There’s children over there and we want to keep them safe.”

At first one gang leader said, “It is a setup to trash us.” The second leader kind of mocked him and said, “Really, women and kids in a party scene in order to trash us. Get real.” Both gangs saw Hector and Victor over there. They knew who they were because they have witnessed to them before. They started asking questions about myself. One gang asked, “Are you a full-time preacher?” I said, “Only when I’m awake. The rest of time I have to sleep.” They switched back to the celebration and asked me what they were all doing. I confirmed with them that there would be good food. There would also be girls to dance with and of course music.

They said, “Essay, we are pretty hungry. We will put our weapons away and we will come with you.” Some of them did keep their knives but the rest of their guns were put away in their vehicles. Both gangs followed me back to the celebration. When Hector and Victor saw that the gangs were following me, they went into action. All of Hector and Victor’s boys and their families started to set up tables for both gangs. After the gangs sat down, they helped serve them. The children walked around the two gangs and kept asking them what they could bring them to drink or anything they could do to serve them.

Estevan and his boys started to stand up. Normally, these gangs shoot and fight with each other but today they’re standing in friendship. I said, “It’s OK. Their weapons are put away.” Everyone began to relax and enjoy the celebration. Then I noticed a third gang that showed up. I told Hector and Victor my King wants to witness to these guys also. I went over and invited them. I shouted back, “You better get more tables.”

I then said, “Come with me because we are having a feast over there but put all your weapons away. There’s children over there and we want to keep them safe.”

At first they said, “Get lost, we do not feel safe going over there without our weapons.”

I said, “That is too bad. I am going back to make myself a big cheeseburger. After that, I’m going to do some dancing and listen to some music.” The Holy Spirit revealed to me that the gang leader loves cheeseburgers. The smell of the food cooking, the families with their kids having fun, dancing with girls was just too much for them. Then they said, “Okay, we will do it. Essay, there better not be any fighting going on over there.” My King told me just to tell him that I am watching over the celebration and they have nothing to worry about. I said, “My king has the celebration covered. There will not be any fighting over there.” One of the gangs finished eating their food and they gave their table to the third gang. The first thing the leader of the 3rd gang did was order a double cheeseburger.

There are total of four gangs here that usually fight with each other. Everyone continued eating all the good food that was there. Hector, Victor and I were sharing the word of God with all of them. Soon started to give their hearts to Jesus Christ. Those men started calling their families to come to the park to join the celebration. Those who hadn’t accepted Jesus Christ yet, saw all the families getting together and they wanted that in their lives. All the gangs had to admit that when Hector and Victor were witnessing to them, they listened to what they said. Even though they did not want anything to do with Jesus Christ then, now all their words they spoke are all becoming real. The words we spoke today, the food and fellowship made the gangs want to change their hearts to something better even more. Hector stopped the music so I could read some more scriptures to everyone. I read John 3:16, Matthew 6:33 and John 14:6. I explained the meaning verses to the gangs. Then I said, “Those of you that want your names written in the Lambs Book of Life to come forward.” Soon the rest of the three gangs came forward. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. I spent all night with them sharing the word of God and telling them how much Jesus loves them. I had a chance to talk with all their parents on their phones. They couldn’t stop crying. God is so Faithful.

After the last family arrived, there was over 500 at the celebration. As promised, my King had sentries posted around the celebration and no one could interfere with what happened today.

My King Sits Gang Leader Down

It was Friday morning. I left for Denver and found a gang that was only in existence for seven days. This gang also had seven members. There was a second gang nearby. I walked up to speak to the younger gang. Victorio, the leader, came up to me and took the cross off my neck. He said, “You don’t wear crosses around here. I like this cross, it is mine now.” He probably wanted to flex his muscles to show the other gang how cool he was. I was kind of bummed because that cross has been with me in many places with many gangs. We have anointed many things and people together. I was going to surely miss it. But it’s only an object it’s not the true King. He put it on his neck to see how it would feel. He was about ready to take it off and put it in his pocket. The Holy Spirit said, “That Cross belongs to Sonny. Do not put that Cross in your pocket or it’ll burn inside your pocket. It is meant to be worn on the outside as a symbol of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for you.” He abruptly sat down on the bench nearby. The second gang was watching and listening to what was going on and noticed how hard Victorio sat down. They came over and asked Victorio, “What are you doing?”

Victorio said, ” I cannot get up. Just leave me alone.” He was thoroughly embarrassed and did not know what to do to get out of the situation.

The other gang asked, “What do you mean you cannot get up?”

Victorio looked back at me and nervously said, “I didn’t mean to sit down. Some kind of force just push me down on this bench. No matter what I do, I cannot get up either. What is that voice I just heard? I have never heard anything like this before. What can I do so I can get up?”

I said, “You can give me my cross back and you will be able to get up. That cross is Anointed. Do you see what those three nails are? Each nail represents an area of Jesus Christ’s body that was pierced for us when he went to the cross. Jesus Christ is just like that cross. You cannot just take him. You physically have to ask him to come into your heart. If you would have asked me for that cross, I would have given it to you.” I then said, “My King made you sit down. He wants you to listen to me. We are never promised tomorrow. Even for me, it is not promised. My King wants your heart. He also wants you to go back to your family.” Victorio thought about what I said and replied, “I have been missing my family and would like to go back.”

I then said, “Jesus Christ still wants your heart. You still have too much bitterness and anger that you need to get rid of before you can be effective for him. You need to make a decision now.”

Victorio sheepishly said, “I guess I have nothing to lose.”

I replied, “Your soul is at stake. You have a lot to lose.” This scared Victorio even more. Then I said, “Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and you will be able to get up.” The minute he asked for his sins to be forgivin, the force that was holding him down stopped and he was able to get up. That really scared him.

Victorio said, “I do want to accept Jesus Christ and I want to go home.” Victorio took the cross off of his neck and he said, “This is yours. I am sorry that I took it from you.” Victorio made a complete heart change to Jesus Christ. My King said, “Sonny just let him have the cross.”

I replied, “No, you keep it. It is a gift from me. Always remember me and what I said when you look at it.” His boys then asked, “Are we a gang anymore?” Victorio responded, “No, I am giving my heart to Jesus and going home.” His boys thought about what he said. They too were missing their families and they saw what happened. They looked at me and said, “We want to know the God that you know. We too want to accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior.”

The other gang came up to Victorio and said, “Why don’t you just hit this guy so he’ll leave you alone? ” Victorio said, “No, he has the answers I have been looking for. His God is my God now. I want to leave this life and go serve his God.” Victorio then said, “Jesus Christ died for me before I was even born. He died to save me from my sins. It is amazing the sacrifice he made for me. I want to serve him.” He started talking to other gang like he was going to preach the word of God to them. I was amazed on how the Holy Spirit was putting words in his mouth as he talked to the other gang. He then said, “I was held down and could not move when I took Sonny’s cross. After I asked for forgiveness of my sins, gave myself to Jesus Christ and offered to give the cross back, I was released. Now I can wear this cross after he gave it to me and I can stand up and move around.”

The 2nd gang said, “You finally earned a spot here in this park. I sent over three of my toughest men and you just trashed them and you’re going to give that all up. You’ve only been a gang for seven days. You haven’t even had a chance to do anything.”

Victorio said, “Yep, I’m going home to my family and I am going to serve Jesus Christ.”

I had a chance to witness to the second gang. I asked them, “Would you like to know about Jesus Christ and his power.”

They asked, “What kind of power?”

I responded, “It’s the Holy Spirit power.” Then Victorio spoke, “Yeah, that is a lot of power. He just threw me down on the bench like there was nothing to it.” The second gang listened to everything that we said. They were not ready to do anything yet so they tried to get off on another subject.

Then they asked, “Are you hungry?” Victorio said, “Yes, we haven’t eaten in awhile.” They said, “We have donuts and orange juice. You are welcome to share with us.” All the other gangs congratulated them and told them that’s cool man but we got to go. So they left to go sit in their cars. Victorio and his gang called their parents. When all their parents arrived, I prayed with them. They all gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. It was beautiful. The second gang was watching everything from their cars. When they saw all the hugging and love being shown, it was to much for them. They got out of their cars and began walking back. Victorio said, “Hey essay, it looks like they want to give their lives to Jesus Christ.” I replied, “Yes, you are right.” They all gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. They too called their families and they also came.

While this was all going on, a white van pulled up. I noticed it did not have a license plate on it. A guy come out and asked, “Do you guys need some Bibles?” I said, “Yes, everyone here wants one.” He said, “Have everybody make three lines. We have Bibles for everyone. On right side of the van we have pop and water if anybody needs a drink.” At first I thought maybe Noah sent the van but I’m not sure. All I know is they knew the need for Bibles so everybody got one. Victorio keeps talking about the love that Jesus Christ has for us and how he sacrificed his life for us. That has become very important in his life. He now wants to go out and talk to other gangs. He speaks with amazing power. He wants to have a career as being a minister. Right now, he calls me nearly daily to get scriptures for different situations. Just like me, the Holy Spirit will take over and give him the scriptures that he will need. What a powerful morning I had!

I am not sure why my King needed his heart today. There’s a possibility if he continued living his life the way he was, he may have died even tomorrow. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Nobody comes to the Father except through him. A life without Jesus is a life of eternity in the Lake of Fire. It is not my King’s desire for anybody to go there. He loved Victorio very much and wanted him to spend his eternity with him. We have that free will to decide if we want his gift or not. Please give your life to Jesus Christ today if you have not already. Not everybody will get a warning like Victorio to decide whether he wants to be with Jesus or not. I am going to meet with a another gang this afternoon. My King wants me to feed them because they are going to be hungry.

Later this afternoon, my King asked me to pick up pizzas for another gang. I headed off to my favorite Little Caesars pizza restaurant to get those hot and ready pizzas. I noticed a guy getting out of his van. I saw his wife and many kids inside the van. He went inside and picked up a pepperoni pizza. He had a difficult time paying for it. He was scrounging through what little money he had to find enough to cover it. I said to myself, “That is not enough for his family. I should get them another one and take it out to them.” The staff knows me well at that Little Ceasar Pizza restaurant. The girl there was watching me watch him leave the restaurant. She said, “I know exactly what you are thinking Sonny. You don’t worry about it. I will take care of it.” She handed me the pizza and I took it out to them. I handed the pizza to them. Then I said, “The restaurant wants to bless you.” He was greatful because his family was very hungry and were going to Colorado Springs to start a new job. As he removed the coupons on the box, a fifty dollar bill appeared. Very emotionally he said, “Now I have enough to buy gas to get to our destination.” I explained that the $50 came from the restaurant also. We can always find people in need if we look for it.

Feeding a Homeless Man Rib Eye Steak at 1a.m.

It was a late night after a busy day of working with the gangs. I didn’t get home till 1 a.m. in the morning. I felt like going to bed immediately. As I was getting ready for bed, my stomach was growling and cramping up. It has been a long time since I had something to eat. Then I remember those ribeye steaks that I had in my refrigerator. I decided that I was going to get something to eat before I went to bed. I cut up some potatoes and onions and wrapped them in aluminum foil. I went outside and started the grill.

Normally, I do not have ribeye steaks myself because they are kind of expensive. But when I was eating breakfast with Blue Mustang, he said, “Sonny, God loves it when we support our missionaries. King Soopers has their ribeyes on sale for half price. Do you want some?” I couldn’t turn that offer down. Blue Mustang waited for me so we could go into the store together. I had a brand new Christian song I had to listen to first before we went into the store. The author wanted my opinion before he released it. We then headed to the back of the store where the steaks were. I looked at a three-pack of steaks for $24 and I said, “Yeah, that’s a good price.” Blue Mustang was checking out what I was looking at. He said, “Put it in the basket. I’ll get one just like yours.” We then we went back to the front of the store. Blue Mustang cut over to the fruit isle. He said, “I need to get some oranges. Would you like some?” I love oranges and before I could finish my sentence he had a bag for me.” He then said, “Sonny, I have to get a snack. Let’s get some bananas. I will split a bunch with you.” I was looking forward to eating those bananas going to Denver. So Blue Mustang blessed me with the good food. When I took it home to put the food in the refrigerator, I was thinking about eating all that meat. God said, “Sonny, not all those steaks are for you.” My King did not say anymore so I did not know for sure what he meant.

The grill finally got up to temperature. I started cooking the rib eye steak and the potatoes on the open flame. The smell of the cooking steak started to radiate throughout the plaza at the apartment complex where I live. A homeless guy walking by came closer to watch me cook. He saw my steak cooking and said, “Oh man, it’s been a long time since I had a steak.” I sensed that he was hungry. Now I know what my King meant. I was about ready to give him my whole meal but my King said, “No Sonny, I want you to split your meal with him. I want you to give him the best part of the steak and share my Kingdom with him. I then said, “I would love to share my steak and my potatoes with you.” I split my food up and we sat down together. I began talking to him about Jesus Christ. I said, “My King loves you very much. He wants your heart.” We continued talking about his Kingdom. He soon wanted to give his heart to Jesus Christ.

We talked for approximately three hours. It was almost 4 a.m. I asked, “What do you want out of life?”

He said, “I would love just to be able to have a job and have a place to stay.”

I said, “We need to ask the King to grant you that desire.” I lifted him up in prayer and asked the King to provide him with a job and a place to stay. About the time I finished praying, a vehicle came by. It looks like a construction type vehicle. The guy pulls up and rolls his window down and said, “I had two guys that were supposed to go with me but changed their mind when they found out they had to live on the construction site. Do you know anybody that wants to work?”

I said, “Yeah I do. There’s a guy right here. He wants a job and a place to stay.”

The homeless man said, “I will go. I want this job very much and I am going to be one of your best workers.” My King made sure he quickly got a job. This was his desire from the beginning. I then focused on the driver. I asked, “How is your morning going?”

He sadly said, “It has been a lousy day. I still need two more guys for work.”

I said, “Before I start each day, I asked the King to grant me favor for the day. I would like to do the same for you.” I began praying for him for the organization of his day. Then we prayed for the location of two more workers or if they would show up in some way. About the time I finished praying, his phone rang. A man and his brother said, ” We want work. We also have a friend who wants a job.” He gave them a job description about doing construction, living onsite and food in the refrigerator. They had no problem and he hired them. So my King answered a second prayer that morning all before 5 a.m. The homeless man later called me and told me that his employer took him to Walmart and bought him some clothes to wear for work. He was very grateful for what just happened. He was still grateful that I shared my meal with him. He told me that he was about ready to start checking dumpsters for food. Ashamed, he then said, “You know if I was you, I probably would not have shared my food with you. I’m just so thankful that your love for me allowed you to share your food with me. You even spent your evening sharing God’s love for me.”

I told Blue Mustang what happened to one of his steaks. He said, “Wow, I had no idea that buying meat could bring somebody to Jesus Christ. Sonny, we should get more of those steaks on Labor Day when they’re on sale again. We will then pray over them that somehow these steaks would bring someone else to Jesus Christ.” I then began thinking what would have happened to this man if I told him to get lost. The vision of him crawling through dumpster after dumpster with no hope in his life is heart breaking. Now he knows Jesus and has a purpose in his life. It all started by sharing a meal.

Revisiting Gang 1 and Gang 2

Two Gangs Revisited

A new weekend is here. God said, “Sonny, you need to meet with the same two gangs you witnessed to last weekend for me. Both of the gangs want the same menus you gave them last time.” A short time later a lady, whose name is Rebekah, called me and asked me if I was coming to the park Saturday. She belonged to the first gang. She was traded for another gang when I first saw her. She was the first one to call me by name. I prayed for her 8 months ago and she gave her heart to Jesus Christ. She took my Anointing oil from me and put it in her pocket. She wanted to witness to the other girls and anoint them when she prayed. She has remained in this gang this long because she is witnessing to the other girls in the gang. She has a heart for the remaining women in the gang.

I headed towards Denver with cold sodas and bottled water in my cooler. When I was in the vicinity of my favorite Cosco, God said, “Sonny, it is time to fill your pickup with gas again.” I looked at my fuel gauge and it was over half full. I really do not need fill up. I have learned that what seems dumb has a purpose when my King wants me to do something. I directed my pickup towards the Cosco fuel pumps. I noticed a guy there already pumping gas. I looked closer and it was Ed McAfree, a retired receiver of the Denver Broncos when John Elway was quarterback. I pulled my vehicle behind his car then I approached him to introduce myself. He is a Christian and loves Jesus Christ. His family is just like him. He shared some details of his NFL career. He told me that when John Elway would throw the ball with intense speed. He remembered one pass he caught that the force on his hand made his middle fingers swell. He did have fun playing ball with John. I then told him what I did. I told him that God directed me here and I feel he wants me to pray for you. Ed was all excited for that. He humbled himself in front of me to allow me pray for him. I lifted him up to God as I prayed for him. He wanted to pray for me and my ministry that was given to me by my King. During our conversation and our prayer time, no one came to fill their gas tank in our line. I have never seen this before. Cosco pumps are always busy on the weekend. God did not want us to be interrupted.

After Ed left, Steve (the Cosco employee I prayed for a month ago) showed up behind me. Just like last week, he ran his Cosco card and payment card to fill my pickup. While the gas flowed into my pickup, he called his wife and told her I was here. She said, “Do not let him go. I am close and I want to meet the man who changed both of our lives.” Steve asked me to wait so I could meet his wife. I did not have to wait very long. She gave me a hug of joy and wanted to share everything that has been going on with Steve and their marriage. I made sure that she recognized that only the Holy Spirit can change one’s life. I just prayed that the Spirit would do that for him. After my gas tank was filled, they both wanted me to go to the parking lot to visit their daughter and her boyfriend. Their son then pulled up and they introduced him to me. I prayed for them all. They decided to rededicate their hearts to Jesus Christ. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. Now is time to revisit the gangs I met with last week.

For the first gang, my King said, “Sonny, pick up donuts, Double Stuffed Oreo Cookies, milk and orange juice.” I went to King Soopers to pick up the food and headed back to the same park. As I began parking nearby, they started to walk towards my pickup with their pistols holstered. When I exited the pickup, they said, “What’s up Sonny? Did you bring us something to eat?”

I said, “Yes, I did.”

They replied said, “Thanks Sonny for thinking about us.”

I responded, “Your welcome; but first I want to pray for all of you. I prayed for all of them. They mentioned to me that the last time I was here that they actually found a Bible and looked up the scriptures I read them last week. They then asked, “Sonny, do you have any new scriptures for us today? ” I then read the scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Jeremiah 29:11. I explained those verses to them. They asked, “Can God really forgive me of all my sins?”

I said, “Yes, but first you need to ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of all your sins. Then ask him to come into your heart. My King will forgive you and forget all your sins. Then he will transform your hearts for his Kingdom. My King will give you a new purpose for your life.” As I finished talking, God said, “Sonny, pray with them and then walk away. I am having you serve lunch to this gang” After I prayed with them a lot of seeds were planted in their hearts. My King is Faithful he gets all the Glory and the Victory. I began walking away. I looked back and told them that I was going to bring them lunch to them. They were very excited when I mentioned “lunch ” to them.

God said, “Sonny, they are craving cheeseburgers. For lunch, pickup up 36 cheeseburgers for them to eat.” I headed to my favorite McDonald’s restaurant to order my cheeseburgers. At McDonald’s they are always excited to see me. The girls and the Manager always come out to pray for me and to say “Hi!.” The manager also helps me reach the young men. Today he paid for 50% of the burgers and eight that I did not even order. He placed those eight in a separate bag. Does the manager know something that I don’t know?

I headed back to the park to meet them again. When I parked my vehicle, they greeted me with their pistols holstered. They helped me carry the food to the nearby picnic table. I prayed over the food and they began eating. They were excited that they could have more than one burger. They only took one at a time and shared. But they did not touch the burger bag with the eight burgers I had. I assumed they thought they were mine and left them alone. Soon, I was to discover why I received those burgers. If you remember the story about God having me do church in the park, well; eight homeless men who attended recognized me. They were very hungry and walked slowly towards the table. They sheepishly asked if we had anything to eat. The gang invited them to dine with them and wanted to share. This is something gangs do not do. I told them I had a burger for each one of them. They were greatful to receive the food. They became thirsty and quietly asked for something to drink. Again, God had me bring enough pop and water so they could quench their thirst. The Holy Spirit definitely is working here in this gang. I prayed with them again. After I prayed with the last man, my King said, “Sonny, It is time to drive away. It is time to bring a meal to another gang”

God had the 2nd gang I have been witnessing to in mind. He told me to get tacos again. He then said, “No, they are not tired of tacos. They will love them again.” He can read my thoughts did not want me to question his choice. My King’s meal choices either fill the need of the gang and usually are their favorite or they just satisfy a craving. I headed to Taco Bell to get more tacos. When I pulled up to Taco Bell window, the girls and the boys always tell me, “Taking more tacos to the gangs I see, we’re praying for you Sonny. Your a blessing to all of us.” They always treat me like family. After praying for me, I headed to gang 2. I parked near them. Just like the first gang, they kept their guns holstered and helped me carry the taco boxes and drinks to their table. I prayed for the food and them and talked about Jesus to them and his ability to heal hearts. Anthony, one of gang members, was hoping that he could heal lives also. He came up to me and asked, “My mom is in the hospital with a bad stomach blockage and doesn’t have much time to live. Can you go to the hospital to pray for her?”

I said, “I will go and pray for her, but you are going with me. ” I have prayed for people in the hospital before and it is difficult to see non-family patients. I also wanted Anthony to see the power of the Holy Spirit. We left the gang and headed for the hospital. With the covid-19 virus going on, going to the hospital is not an easy task. They do not even want any non-family individuals around. Anthony decided to adopt me as his uncle and that took care of that problem. Now, to prepare ourselves we had to get into our what seemed like hazmat suits. We were told not to bring anything into the room or touch anything. So, with all the garb on, we entered Anthony’s mom’s room. I introduced myself to her and said, “Anthony has asked me to pray for you. Is it OK for me to do that?” She welcomed the offer with open arms. The blockage has been quite painful for her. I learned that she has been praying for Anthony for years to accept Jesus Christ. She was glad to see him in her room. Before I pray, I get my bottle of olive oil out to anoint the person I am praying for. Deep inside my sleeve the bottle was hiding. I worked it down my sleeve until it popped into my hand. Luckily, both of the nurses watching us are Christians. They both understood the power of the oil and gave me thumbs up to continue. I opened it and began anointing her. I began praying for her. Whatever was causing her pain seemed to just pass through. Almost instantly, she felt wonderful. Anthony watched carefully everything that just happened. He noticed how the Holy Spirit healed his mom.  His mom noticed her son’s bewilderment. Her first words to Anthony were, “Isn’t it great how good our God is. Anthony would you like Jesus Christ to be your personal Savior.” Anthony began realized that gang life is not what its cut out to be and Jesus did heal his mom. He wanted what I and his mom had; a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Anthony told her, “I do want to accept Jesus as my personal Savior! ” His mom asked me if I could loan her my bottle of oil. I handed it to her while the nurses were watching. She anointed him with the oil and prayed over him as he accepted Jesus Christ. Anthony now has the peace of Jesus Christ in his life. His mom’s next request was “I want a lemonade to drink.” Even though the nurses advised against it, she threatened to get someone else to do it. They caved and let her have the lemonade. She enjoyed it but had to spend the next hour in the restroom. She was released the next day. God totally cured her. It was great to get out of the hospital and the suits. Anthony has one more thing to do and it is to leave the gang.

At first,  I think he wanted me to tell them but then he said, “Sonny, this is one thing I have to do myself.” I drove him back to the gang to talk with the leader. Anthony went up to him and said, “Loco, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and I want to serve him. I am asking your permission to leave the gang.”

The leader replied, “Loco, it is fine with me. But anytime someone treats you without respect, you still have a home with us. We will keep this spot open for you.” Normally, it is impossible to leave a gang without leaving the state or dying. The hearts of these men are softening but they still have tremendous respect for each other. I am not sure why they call each other “Loco”. Now that Anthony knows that God is real, he is going back to his gang. He is bringing God’s Kingdom with him and more of them will be saved. I went home to end the weekend. God still has plans for me to visit these gangs again.

Memorial Day weekend with the 5th Timers

Saturday morning I picked up 4 dozen donuts to take to gang 1 I have been witnessing to this was the 5th time. I have shared the word of God to them when I met them. I gave them all Bibles. There are 27 individuals in this gang of which fifteen are guys and twelve are girls. One of girls names is Rebecka. I talked about her earlier.  She has stayed with the gang to try and reach the other girls for Jesus Christ. She also has been my inside informer. She has been calling me lately and telling me that she wants to go home. She has been trying to get the other girls to come with her. Rebecka reported to me that during the past week they have been reading the Bible. The whole gang has been showing signs that the Holy Spirit has been working in their hearts more each week.

When I arrived Saturday morning, the leader, his body guards and Rebecka came out to greet me. No one had their pistols drawn when they came to help me carry in all the donuts, milk and orange juice I bought for them. As we all walked inside, the rest of the gang members were excited to see all the food. I noticed the Bible’s everywhere. You could tell that they have been reading them. My King said to read Jeremiah 29:11 to them. When I announced which verse I was about to read, Rebecka said, “That’s my favorite verse because it talks about our future.” She opened her Bible and read Jeremiah 29:11 out loud to all of us. After she was done, the leader said, “Sonny, I’m ready to give my heart to Jesus Christ. Rebecka has been reading the Bible to us and she makes us read the word of God. All of us have learned so much about God’s word. Because of your and Rebecka’s persistence, our hearts will never be the same.”

Then I replied, “Those of you that want your names written in the Lambs Book of Life come over by me and I’ll pray for you.” They all stepped forward to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Then they called all their parents to go home. The parents came for all of them. The parents that weren’t Christians asked me to pray with them. As I prayed they gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory.

Gang 2

You may began asking yourself what happened to Gang 2? Well, Anthony took breakfast to his old gang. He prayed for them and shared what Jesus has been doing in his life. Three of them gave their life to Jesus Christ during their encounter. He may be the one who brings the entire gang to Jesus. I have planted the seed. My King keeps me humble by showing me that he can use other people to bring Salvation to the gangs. I am excited for Anthony and want him to succeed immensely. This does remind me of a time I had this discussion with God. I asked, “God, do you have anyone to replace me as I get older.”

God retorted, “Why do you ask? Are you planning on dying soon. ” It was a foolish question because God probably had a successor lined up for me even before I was chosen. It also told me that my King as more work for me to do.

Day of Many Miracles

Saturday morning my focus was on 2 different Gangs. I was to serve breakfast to the first gang and lunch to the second. Because God loves us so much, he likes to provide us with our favorite foods. He gave me a list of foods to buy for each gang. I climbed into my pickup and began my drive to Denver. I pray while driving that the Holy Spirit will prepare their hearts.

When I arrived in Denver, my fuel gauge was on empty. I headed towards my favorite Cosco to fill up. I found a pump that was empty and pulled up to fill. As I opened my door, I heard someone call out my name. I looked behind me and saw Steve, the man I prayed for at this store last month. He jumped out of his car and headed towards my pump and swiped his members card and his credit card. He said, “Sonny, just be blessed.” I began a conversation with Steve to find out what just happened. The Holy Spirit prompted him to buy a red cooler at the store. He was wondering what the cooler was for. Then he was promoted to go and buy some gas. This is definitely strange because he just got through filling hs car. He bought the cooler and headed back to the fuel pumps. As he neared the pumps, he recognized my pickup and quickly came up behind me. Steve figured out what he was supposed to do. After the fuel started flowing, he went and got the cooler out of his car and gave it to me. God definitely is preparing me to reach gangs on Memorial day weekend allowing me to stock up more beverages. God has been working mightily in Steve’s life. When I prayed for him last month, he accepted Jesus in his life. When he went home, his love for his wife increased mightily. He started cooking and helping around the house and let Jesus shine towards her. Steve’s whole family now knows Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. His wife, Sharon, called me and thanked me for what I did. I replied, “I had nothing to do with it. Only my King can change one’s heart.” She still calls me and shares what amazing things Steve is doing since Jesus Christ has taken over his life. It is now time to buy breakfast for the first gang.

I headed to King Soopers to get donuts, milk and orange juice. I then proceeded to the location of the first gang. God said, “Sonny, when you meet the gang give them their breakfast and pray for them then walk away.” It was around 10 am when I arrived where they were all standing. As I got out of my pickup, they all drew out their pistols and pointed them towards me and asked, “What do you want?”

I said, “I brought breakfast for you guys and to pray for all of you.” A couple of them grabbed me and threw me against my pickup.

The leader asked, “You brought us breakfast.”

I said, “I brought donuts, milk and orange juice.”

He replied, “Why are you doing this?”

I said, “Because my King said you guys were hungry. I would like to read a couple of scriptures to you guys.” I began reading John 3:16 and Jeremiah 29:11 to them. After I read the scriptures to them, I prayed for all of them.

They curiously asked, “How did you know we wanted donuts?”

I said, “That’s what my King said you wanted.”

One guy asked, “Who’s your King?” I did not have time to answer. Another guy retorted, “That’s Jesus Christ.” I nodded confirming his answer. After I put the donuts, milk, orange juice and the cups on the picnic table God said walk away. As I was walking to my pickup, I said, “God, bless you guys.” I climbed into my pickup and drove away. I watched them in my rearview mirror. They were all looking at me while I drove away. God is so Faithful. Now it is time to get food for the second gang.

God’s menu choice for them is tacos so I headed to my favorite Taco bell. I ordered several of the large taco boxes. The manager asked, “Sonny, are all these tacos going to the gang?” I said, “Yes.” The manager replied, “You always give everything to the gang. I want to make some tacos just for you. ” He handed the bag with the taco boxes. I went directly to the second gang. As I drove up, they also took their pistols out and aimed them at me. I got out anyway and said, “My name is Sonny.”

The leader asked, “What are you doing?” Before I could answer, one of his body guards picked me up and threw me into the back of my pickup box. Boy, that really smarts landing on that hard steel floor. I answered the leader from the back of the pickup. I said, “Are you guys hungry? I brought 5 dozen tacos for you guys.” As I climbed out of my pickup box, they started to put their weapons away.

The leader asked, “You brought us tacos.”

I said, “Yes, because my King said you were hungry and you guys wanted tacos.” Two guys started to push me around and threw me against my pickup. Out of nowhere the Latinos pulled up. They are another gang I witness to and have written to you about. They even call to give me their schedule. They were in the same park and were watching me closely. They surrounded us in their Mustangs. They all quickly exited their cars with their guns drawn towards the gang. The angry leader of the Latinos said, “If you guys touch Sonny again, all of you will get shot. Sonny is not here to fight with you guys. He’s here to bring food to you and to tell you about Jesus Christ. So don’t touch him.” They turned and headed back to their cars and drove away. The leader asked, “Who were those guys?” The Holy Spirit revealed, “Sonny, he doesn’t need to know.” So I told him, “I really do not know. But he feels that I am not a threat to anyone.”

I said, “Let me pray for you guys then I will drive away.” Before I prayed for them, I read Jeremiah 29:11 then I prayed for them. I got the 5 dozen tacos and drinks that I had in my cooler and set them on the table. I told them that Jesus Christ loves them as they started eating. I got my taco bag out and ate four of the tacos with them. I counted eight tacos left. Normally, the gangs devour everything in sight but they did not touch the bag. I wanted to give the tacos to the gang but God said, “No.” I loaded the cooler and my tacos into the pickup. I drove away from the park. As I drove around the corner I saw eight homeless guys holding signs saying “Will work for food? ” Now I know what the tacos are for. I parked and grabbed the tacos. I said, “I have a taco for each of you.” They were greatful for the food. One asked, “It would be great to have a Dr Pepper now. I have not had one for ages.”

I said, “I have one in the cooler for you.” They all began asking to have a drink of some kind. I had something left in the cooler for each of them. I began asking questions about them. They pointed out two of their friends who were asleep under the tree. I began thinking how they missed out on the food and the scripture of the wedding party. Some patrons did not have enough oil for their lamps and were forced to go to town to buy more. When they came back now prepared, the wedding party came and gone leaving them all alone. It is good to be ready. They also revealed to me that it has been difficult to get a job. When an employer finds out they are homeless, they do not want them. I said, “I cannot help you in that area. But my King can. Can I pray for you.” They wanted me to pray for each of them. As I lifted their unemployment situation to God, a landscaper was being directed by the Holy Spirit to come here. He saw me talking to the men and drove his work truck next to us. He introduced himself and that he was looking for workers and had a place for them to live with weekly trips into town to get things. He said, “If you show up for work each day for work and don’t steal from me that you will see a pay increase each month. We usually work through the month of October” He also warned them about what happened if they began not doing their job or stealing from him. He even gave a job to those sleeping. They all wanted to give their lives to Jesus Christ after witnessing such a powerful miracle. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory I did exactly what my King said.

So far the eight homeless are getting there before the boss. He serves them coffee and breakfast before work. They then discuss today’s work schedule. Everyone does his job. Being homeless together has bonded them like family. They want to support each other and they do work. They have worked late and not complained. If they are fast they can quit early or start tomorrow’s work today to get off early tomorrow. The boss said to me, “It is refreshing to have everyone there at the start of the day; not having to wonder if anyone will show up.”

As for the gangs, God has plans for me to speak to them again next weekend. I will keep you informed.

New Pueblo Gang in Denver

It was early Saturday morning and God said, “There is a new gang from Pueblo in Denver that is hanging out at the park where you witness to gangs frequently. They are hungry. I want you to serve them tacos.” I headed towards Denver and stopped by Toco Bell to get a bunch of their lunch box deals. When it was my turn at the 1st window, the girl whose name is Sahara, recognized me from my many visits here. Sahara said, “Hi Sonny. Are you getting tacos for gang members today?”

I said, “Yes, I need 3 party boxes of tacos to go.”

Sara said, “Coming right up Sonny.”

When I pulled up to next window to pay, they handed me a large Baja Blast. They then had me pull forward to a parking spot. Sara, Kari and Rachel came out with all the taco party boxes. They asked me to step out of my pickup to lay hands on me. All three prayed out loud for me and gave me big hugs. They continuously pray for me all the time. They even have their parents praying for me.

I left the parking lot and headed to my destination. As I was nearing the park around 10:30 AM, I could see the gang hanging out by the picnic tables. I continued to drive closer to them to find a parking spot nearer to their location. The Holy Spirit had a spot for me to park so I took it. While I was getting out of my pickup, the leader came towards me with his pistol drawn and exclaimed, “What are you doing here?”

I responded, “I have come to bring God’s Kingdom to you. He loves you very much.”

The leader asked, “So you have come to preach to us. We are going to have to shoot you for bothering us.” They started pushing me around.

I responded with the most powerful words on the planet, “Before you shoot me, let me pray for you.” I was starting to pray but the leader noticed the smell of Toco Bell coming out of my pickup. He then said, “Your pickup smells like Toco Bell. ”

I said, “Yes, my King told me to get tocos for you to eat.”

The leader responded, “You brought us tocos to eat.” The leader began to drop his pistol. I could see some of the gang members already coming over to get something to eat. Some gang members kept their pistols drawn while they ate. The leader was so used to getting ripped off or violence of some sort that getting something from love has never happened to him before. He just stood there.

I said, “Yes, if you are not hungry, I am going to eat.” I went over to my pickup to unload the Tocos and pop I had on ice.

The leader’s body guards exclaimed, “We cannot shoot someone that would bring food to us.” They too went over to get something to eat. This was my opportunity to pray for them. They all had their mouths full so they could hear me pray for them. As I prayed for several of them, God said, “Sonny, I want you to stop and pray for Blue Mustang now. ” I usually don’t look at my watch but I noticed the time was 11:12 am. I told the guys, “My King has asked me to pray for Blue Mustang, I am going to do as my King asked.” I left them to eat the Tocos. I prayed for Blue Mustang. The next day he reported that he was switching tasks. He to noticed the time was also 11:12 am. We are not sure what God did but he either solved a problem for him or protected him or both. Heck, it could be just to encourage. My King never asks me to do anything unless it was important.

I came back to finish praying. The leader was amazed on my loyalty. He exclaimed, “You are loyal to Blue Mustang.”

I said, “Yes I am.” I finished praying for the rest of the them. God then told me to leave them.

I was going to visit another gang in south east Denver but God had other plans. He said, “Sonny, you are not finished with this gang. I want you to get three big bags of Cosco popcorn and cookies. I went to Cosco first. The parking lot was full. I got in line created because of social distancing. I counted that I was about 40 to 50 people ahead of me. A man came from behind me and said, “Sonny, come follow me. I don’t want you to wait.” I recognized him from three weeks ago. I was shopping at this same Cosco and I noticed him crying in a corner of the store. I didn’t ask him anything but if it would be all right to pray for him. He said, “Yes, I would like for you to pray for me.” So I prayed for him right there in the store. He works at this store and was just coming back in from a break. Even in this large crowd, he recognized me. I stepped out of line and followed him to a side door. He said, “I have to go back to work but go ahead and shop.” I found the big bags of popcorn but the cookies were picked over. I had to go to King Soopers to get the cookies.

I headed back to the park and arrived about 2 pm. The gang was still there where I left them. The leader came up to my pickup. The leader exclaimed, “Are you going to preach to us about Jesus Christ some more?”

I said, “My King wants wants you to be part of his family and he wants me to take his love and bring his message to you.”

The leader then asked, “Are you a full time preacher? ”

I retorted, “Only when I am awake. ”

The leader responded, “We have a funny man here.” The gang still had their pistols drawn on me. The gang members started to pushing me around. One other gangs nearby was watching what was going on. This happened to be Alfredo’s gang. He was in one of my other stories. Alfredo was angry and walked over by the leader. He angrily said, “If I see you guys mess with Sonny anymore, I am going to have my guys shoot every one of you dead. Sonny only brings food and talks about Jesus. He is no threat to you.” Alfredo turned around and walked away. I was amazed that he came by himself and this gang did not dare point their pistols towards Alfredo or his gang.

To diffuse the tension, I said, “Look what I have in my pickup for you guys. ” He looked behind me and noticed the food I brought. He then asked, “Are you going to feed us again?”

I reached into my pickup and brought out the popcorn. I said, “Look I got popcorn from Cosco. ”

I prayed out loud to my King to give thanks before I gave them the popcorn to eat. After I was done praying, the leader asked, “Do you pray before every meal?”

I said, “Yes, because I want our King to bless our food and I want to show you that praying for this food is showing that we are grateful for the food that has been provided.” I then handed him a bag of popcorn.

The leader exclaimed, “Cosco popcorn, I love their popcorn.” He started eating the popcorn and consumed several cans of Dr. Pepper. I continued to talk about the wonders of Jesus Christ and his love. Nearly two hours had passed. I discovered that the leaders name is Franchisco. The gang started to lower their weapons. The Holy Spirit started revealing memories to Franchisco in his youth going his grandparents home. Grandma would make him popcorn and share Jesus Christ with him. This happened many times so she shared Christ with him many times. So when I gave him popcorn and shared Jesus Christ, all those memories came alive. He suddenly exclaimed, “I’m ready to give my heart to Jesus Christ. I want this life to end. ”

His men and the girls really loved and Franchisco. They saw their leader’s heart change in front of their eyes. They said, “We too want to serve God also.” I prayed for all of them. They laid their arms on each other in a huddle and gave their hearts to Jesus. I prayed for the ladies also. I want everyone to know that women in gangs are treated more like property than women. When one experiences the love Jesus Christ gives me in my life, she wanted to marry me because of that love she felt. I told her that its Jesus you feel; not me. I told her that that I will pray for the right man to come into her life and you will be glad that you did not marry me. I don’t think she is entirely convinced. Men, please treat your ladies like Jesus treats his church. We ALL should do this. It will help our ladies love us even more.

Even though they could have drove back to Pueblo to share what happened to their parents, the parents wanted to come to Denver to share in their excitement. I prayed for them and their sons and daughters. They went back home to Pueblo. Franchisco in 1 week of coming to Jesus printed fliers to the teenagers in his neighborhood to come and have church in the park. He read Matthew 6:33 to them and explained to them what it meant. Of the 37 parents and teenagers who showed up to have church, 21 wanted to give their lives to Jesus Christ. It is exciting to see the power of God move like this in Franchisco life. I will keep you informed of anything else Franchisco does. Jesus has some big things for him to do.

Serving Thanksgiving to the Eastsiders

It is Thanksgiving Day and I’m about ready to serve a feast to a gang in Denver.  This all started on a Tuesday afternoon when I was out grocery shopping at King Soopers. As I was checking out, I was listening to a couple of ladies talking to each other. One said to the other one, “You know, I should cook a Thanksgiving dinner for someone in need.” About that same time, God said to me, “Sonny, you need to do the same thing. I want you to serve a Thanksgiving dinner to a gang. I want you to serve the Eastsiders.”

The Eastsiders live near Commerce City. Everytime they would see me, they pushed me around. They would also hit me. They have sliced my arms with their knives.  They are one of the meanest gangs in Denver that I have encountered.  I usually am hurting after I meet up with this gang. So my heart rate was kind of racing thinking about doing this. God said, “Sonny, prepare the table before my enemy on Thanksgiving day.”  I was thinking in terms of pizza, hamburgers or chicken.  God said, “No Sonny, I want you to serve them up a feast.” God gave me instructions seven days before Thanksgiving to start getting everything ready.

I have never done a Thanksgiving dinner like this for anyone so I really had no idea how to begin. But God was there to help me. Later that day, an undercover policeman called me and said, “My wife just told me that the Holy Spirit told her to make a turkey for you. Is there something going on that I should know about?” I shared what God told me to do with him. Even later that day another undercover policeman’s wife said she was told to make the stuffing for the turkey. As the days passed, others called to cook parts of the meal. I had a lady volunteer from Fort Collins to make the pies. The mom of the undercover policeman’s wife making the turkey found out what was going on and wanted to made the rolls.  Some of the undercover police officers wanted to help serve the Thanksgiving dinner. I had to turn them down because the gangs feel threatened when there’s more than one person present. Everything that was on my list was going to be prepared by someone. God is Faithful. The Eastsiders were going to have a homemade Thanksgiving dinner. The snow storm we had two days before Thanksgiving sure made a mess of the roads and made it more challenging to deliver the food to Commerce City. I picked up the pies in Fort Collins first and worked my way around Denver picking up all the ingredients for the feast. I picked up the turkey last.  Everyone who had volunteered had their dish prepared to perfection. The pies had to go the longest distance. I prayed, “Lord, with the rough roads keep everything stable and intact.” I wasn’t sure where they live but I knew approximately where they hung out.  I did not just want to keep driving around bouncing the food in my truck. Soon an undercover policeman called me and gave me their exact location. So everything arrived in excellent condition.

I arrived at the gangs neighborhood at 11 a.m. From a distance, I could see that they just finished clearing the snow out in front of their home. I pulled up and parked in that spot. I got out of my truck and opened the rear door of my pickup to get the food. The leader, whose name is Apollo, stepped out and asked, “Sonny, what are you doing here?”

I turned around and said, “My King told me to come and bless you guys with a Thanksgiving Dinner. ”

Apollo said, “I can’t believe you brought us a Thanksgiving Feast knowing how we have treated you.”

I said, “Not only my King wanted to bring you Thanksgiving, but many others wanted to bless you guys. With love and enthusiasm, they wanted to give up their time to make sure that you had a good Thanksgiving meal.”

Apollo asked, “Do you need help Sonny?”

I said, “Yes that would be great!” He told some of his guys to come and help me. As I was walking into the house, some of the guys had their pistols drawn on me to make sure I didn’t pull anything funny. It is extremely difficult for these guys to trust anyone. Even though they had me covered, everyone was excited to see all the food. There was the turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls and corn on the table. We put the four pumpkin pies and three apple pies on another table.

I had brought a cooler with Dr Pepper, Pepsi, and Mountain Dew in it. The gang set the table with plates, forks and knives. Everyone was waiting patiently before eating.  Apollo spoke up, “Guys, put your weapons down. We don’t need this here.” As the feast was about to start,  I could hear some of the girls crying in the background.  I said, “Everything is set up.  Let me pray and thank Jesus Christ for this food.”  As I was praying, I could hear more of the gang crying.  I said, “Amen.” I then said, “The ladies go first.”

As I was serving them, they kept thanking me for what just happened. After they were all served, I sat down next to Apollo and ate with him. A couple of guys were sitting behind me at another table still watching me.

Apollo asked, “Sonny, how did you get started talking to gangs about Jesus?” I told them how my heart was broken by my family. That’s when I asked God to give me a ministry that nobody wanted. That’s when my King said, “Then follow me.” God started healing my heart. He brought me to Denver to minister to gangs because they have broken hearts too. My King wants to bring healing to all your hearts. That’s why I’m here to obey the word of my King to bring healing to all of you.

After we ate, some of them began hugging me. I read Mathew 6:34 to them. Then I read John 3:16 to them. Then I stepped into the living room and said, “Those of you that want your names written in the lambs book of life come into the living room.”  They all came to the living room.

Apollo asked, “Can God really forgive me of all my sins?”

I said, “Yes, but you first have to ask for forgiveness and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart.”

Apollo said, “I want to ask Jesus Christ into my heart.” All of them then asked Jesus Christ for forgiveness of all their sins and asked Jesus Christ to come into their hearts. A lot of them began to cry.  Later, they started to call their parents to tell them what happened.  All their parents came to welcome them back. I had a chance to pray for many of their parents. A lot of them were already Christians. The ones that weren’t wanted to give their hearts to Jesus.  It was so Beautiful. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. I am not sure how to describe it but the power of God during this meal was totally amazing, energizing and different from anything I have experienced before.

Serving Supper at the Latino’s Home

A new weekend is about to occur. I have not heard anything from the Holy Spirit what I should do to minister this weekend. I prayed, “My King, where do you want me to go?”

God responded, “Go to Denver and take two 12 packs of Dr Pepper, one 12 pack of Coke and pick up seven pizzas. Make sure the pizzas are hot. For dessert get two packs of double stuffed Oreos. Take them to home of the Latinos for supper. They will be very hungry.”  I stopped at a King Soopers and picked up two packages of double stuffed Oreos.  I wanted to get the pizza last so that it would be hot.

I said, “Lord I don’t know where they live you have to show me.”

My King said, “I will show you where they live. You just go.” I headed towards Denver. I had coupons and I was going to stop by the Little Caesars place that I frequent.  But God had other plans. I was starting to drive by a Pizza Hut. God said, “Sonny, get your pizzas over here at this Pizza Hut. I want you to order all large Meat Lovers Pizzas.” I stopped and walked in to order the pizzas. It was starting to get dark and there were quite a few people in the restaurant already being a Friday night.

I said, “I would like to order 7 large meat lover pizzas.”

The Pizza Hut employees said, “That’s a lot of Pizza.”

I said, ” I am going to serve supper to a gang here in Denver. I share the message of Jesus Christ to them.”

Two girl employees and their manager came over to greet me. The manager asked,  “Are you the one who witnesses to the gangs down here in Denver?”

“I am the one. My name is Sonny.” I replied.

They gathered around me and laid their hands on me praying over the food I was to serve, for the hearts of the gang members and for my protection.  They did this in a fairly loud audible voice.  I even noticed that there were people at tables near us who are holding their hands towards us in confirmation  praying with us. This moment touched me so much I couldn’t stop crying. Before I had a chance to pay the manager said to me, “Sonny, if you pay for three pizzas I will buy the other four pizzas.” Only God knew that I would be getting the four pizzas for free. I also found out later that the gang likes Pizza Hut pizzas the best.

My king took me right to their front door of their home. I could tell that I was at the right location because of all the Ford Mustang cars parked around the home. What was so cool was when I arrived there was a spot right in between all the cars for me to park my pickup. First, I got the pizzas out of my pickup. I walked to the front door. Before I was half way to the door, two young men came around the south side of the house and two more came from the north side of the house. They asked, “What do you want? We didn’t order any pizzas.” Since it was so dark outside they did not recognize who I am.

I said, “It’s me Sonny.”

The leader stepped out of the house and said, “Sonny, how did you find us?”

I said, “My king brought me here to bring you guys supper.”

The leader said,  “Come on in Sonny. We are extremely hungry and we were wondering what we were going to eat tonight.” I continued to carry the pizzas into the house. I said, “I have refreshments out in the cooler in my pickup that I need to get.” The leader sent two guys out with me to help me retrieve the cooler. The two guys that came with me carried the cooler into the house. I did not tell him what was in the cooler and I know they were expecting it just to be bottled water. As they opened it up they saw that there was pop in there.

You may be asking why there is pop when I usually give them bottled water all the time. God asked me the same question. God said, “Sonny, what do you like to have when you eat a hamburger?” I said, “I like to have my hamburger with a soda pop. God replied, “The gang members would like to have one also.” This happened one afternoon about 1 p.m. What is interesting about this is about 4 p.m. the same day the guy that helps me in this ministry was thinking about the word “serving” gang members. He was contemplating or the Holy Spirit was revealing; if I enjoy drinking a pop with my food why shouldn’t the gang members experience what I am. He called me at that time and ask the same question that God asked me confirming that we should do this. He then asked me, “What do gang members like to drink?”

I said, “Pepsi, Coke, Mountain Dew.” King Soopers had a sale on their pop four 12-packs for $10.  He loaded up on soda pop so I could serve this gang and others. I did not mention Dr. Pepper to him as a choice but the Holy Spirit showed him that we need to have Dr. Pepper as a choice. God loves us so much that he wants us to have the best.

They asked me, “Do we get to have pop tonight?

I said, “I have a cooler full of pop.”

The leader said, “Sonny, what kind of pop did you bring.”

I said, “Dr Pepper.”

The leader responded, ” There is nothing better than Dr. Pepper.”

The girls in the house asked, “Are there any Cokes in there?”

I said, “Yes, I do have Coke. God told me to bring a 12 pack of Coke along.”

The girls responded, “This is great! We’ve been craving a Coke all day.”

I said, “The guy you guys call Mustang said he wanted to bless you guys with pop because nothing is better than eating Pizza and drinking a cold Dr Pepper.”

The Leader said, “Tell Mustang I said thank you very much and that may God bless him for thinking of us.” Before they started to eat I prayed for supper. They invited me to eat pizza with them because there was a lot of pizza. The leader did ask why I brought so much pizza. I told them it was to have enough so they could eat lunch tomorrow.  I told him this pizzas is given for you guys only.

As they started eating, my King said to read Jeremiah 29:11 and Mathew 6:33 and explain what those verses meant. They really listened to me speak about God’s word. We then began talking about their cars for an hour when they told me they had to leave. I prayed for them and they got in their cars and drove away. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. I see more of a heart change in these guys every time we meet.  The home where the gang members lived was kept in good order. Everything was very clean and immaculate.

Chinese Mafia Asks Questions

March 29, 2019

Friday at 2:30 p.m. one of the sons of the Chinese Mafia called me and asked me if I could meet with him, his brother and two of his cousins in Denver at 9 p.m. over dessert and talk about the Bible. As I was talking with him, I was praying and asking God if he wanted me to meet with them. God said, “Go and tell them how much I love them and to take milk and cookies with you.”

I said, “Yes, I can meet with you guys. I am bringing milk and Oreo cookies.”

He got all excited with my invitation. I took 5 glasses and met them on the south side of Denver. They were happy to see me. When they climbed in my pickup, I noticed that they all had their Bibles with them. After we were done eating cookies, one of them opened his Bible to Genesis 3 and started reading the passage. After finishing he talked about the serpent being crafty and a liar. He made a point about how the Devil tries to get in our minds and lies to us.

I asked, “If you asked Jesus Christ to forgive you of all your sins and ask Jesus Christ into your hearts. The Holy Spirit is there to help you. The Devil is already defeated because of Jesus Christ going to the cross.”

Our discussion stopped here because they had to leave. I prayed with them and thanked them for coming all the way to Denver. They thanked me for taking the time to meet with them. God is Faithful! My King gets the Glory and the Victory.

Today these young men have given their lives to Jesus Christ. They’ve been able to even to witness to their parents and they’ve had an impact on their lives and today they are doing things for God themselves. This was another victory for our King. These stories were password protected earlier to protect the young men. But now that they are God’s children I want you to know about God’s glory in their lives.

Encounter with Chinese Mafia

March 2 2019

These gangs are very athletic. One guy did a vertical flip over me as I was standing there. Others jumped over their cars demonstrating their finesse. This gang drives high performance black Subaru’s that have dark tinted windows and do not have any license plates on them. When confronted law enforcement really does not like talking about these guys because they are so dangerous.

When I got to Pueblo today, the young men were at their workout building. I parked in front of the building where they could see me. They all came out and asked me “What are you doing here and how did you find our place?”

I said “My King told me where you guys were at.”

They asked “Did you bring us food?”

I said “Yes, I brought 30 hotdogs and mustard.” After eating all of the hot dogs, they took me into their building.

One of them asked “Can God really forgive everything we have done?”

I said “Yes, but first you have to ask for forgiveness of all your sins and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and he will forgive you. Jesus Christ will transform your heart.” Then I said “Those of you that want your names written in the book of life come to me and I will pray with you.” Four young men of the Chinese gang gave their hearts to Christ. Then they all went back into the building.

The four hugged me and said “We will be calling you Sonny. Please pray for us because it’s going to be hard to tell our parents.” I prayed with them that God would prepare their parents hearts. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory.
