New York Trip to Save Victor and His Gang

God warned me about a month ago that I would be returning to New York. I was there two weeks ago witnessing to a new gang. When God said it was time to go again, Marciano, a born again gang convert from my 2017 New York visit, called me and asked me if I could come to New York and witness to his cousin Victor and his gang.  Marciano has been going to Victor and his gang sharing God’s word to them. He called me to ask for help. This was my confirmation that it was time to go back to New York again. The police jet that flew me to Chicago and New Jersey came to pick me up at Denver International Airport. As we began to fly over New York City, I walked up to the pilots and asked, “Can you fly over Brooklyn where the gang I am going to witness to tomorrow.” The pilots honored my request by banking the plane over the location I was to go. From my window, it was clear that some of the buildings were abandoned and had broken windows. Nearby, I saw a baseball field that looked run down but some kids were playing baseball. The undercover police told me that there’s a Christian grounds keeper that takes care of that field. After I finished my inspection, the undercover police that were with me told the pilots to fly over the Bronx where I had witnessed to a gang two years ago.  God wanted to show me what the ex gang members have done to that part of the neighborhood. They have cleaned it up. People are actually living there now.

When the jet landed at LaGuardia Airport, all 17 ex gang members that I witnessed to two years ago in the Bronx were there waiting for me.  We hugged and prayed together. The Holy Spirit was radiating from them. It was beautiful sight to see how Jesus Christ has changed Marciano and the young mens hearts from two years ago. Marciano asked me, “Sonny, what has God shown to you about how we are to reach my cousins in Brooklyn.” They are a gang of 15 young men.

I said, “We are taking God’s Kingdom to them on Saturday at noon near the baseball field. God has shown me that we need to prepare a meal before our enemies.”  We purchased 17 large pizzas and bottled water. Next, we needed four tables and chairs to serve on. With food and supplies in hand, we headed to Brooklyn. After arriving at our destination, we prayed for the days event and set up the tables. Marciano cousin Victor and his gang kept driving by when we were done setting up. We signaled for them to stop and eat.  After some coaxing, they finally parked their cars. We asked them to sit down and eat with us. Marciano said, “I would like to read my favorite Bible verse John 3:16”
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Then he read Philippians 4:13:
13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Then Marciano said, “Sonny, do you have a verse to share?”

God led me to read Psalm 34:18
18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

After I finished reading the scripture, I looked at Victor and saw his eyes tearing up.  Marciano prayed for our meal. Victor and his gang kept looking at Marciano while he was praying.  His prayer was so anointed by the Holy Spirit that the gang kept silent.  Some of the young men were looking around, some listened intently and the rest of Victor’s gang had their eyes closed during Marciano’s prayer. As Marciano continued praying, you could see their hearts softening. During the meal they started talking about baseball and the Yankees. The conversation lead to the possibility that there are new gangs trying to move into the Bronx and Brooklyn area. Those 17 young men that met me at the airport started sharing with the gang members around them what God has been doing in their hearts and lives since they left the gang environment two years ago. They were reading the Bible to Victor’s gang. Marciano got up and said, “I want to introduce the man that led us to the Lord. His name is Sonny.”

I introduced myself and said, “Hi”  to all of Victor’s Gang.

The leader Victor said, “Your the one that brought the big light to the Bronx that night. It was so bright.”

I said, “Yes, that light you saw was Jesus Christ my King. He loves all of you and wants to bring healing to all your hearts. All you have to do is to ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of all your sins and ask Jesus Christ to come into your hearts. Jesus Christ will forgive you and forget all your sins. My King will transform your hearts. God told me to prepare a meal before our enemies. We come to bring Salvation, peace and a new purpose for your lives. In this world Jesus Christ loves all of you. Jesus Christ wants to transform your hearts so he can use you in this world to bring Salvation and healing to those around you.”

Victor stood up and asked, “Is it really that easy to ask Jesus Christ to forgive me for everything I have done?”

I said, “Yes, my King will forgive you and forget your sins.”

Victor and his gang stood up and said, “We are leaving now.”

Marciano said, “Before you guys leave let me pray for all of you.” Marciano prayed, “Father God thank you for your love for us and thank you for bringing us together to eat this meal and talk about all the amazing things you’re doing in our lives to protect us, to provide for us and to help us to be a light in this world for those that are lost and broken hearted around us. We ask this in Jesus Christ’s Holy Name. Amen!” The power of this prayer was so beautiful. They all stood there and listened to his prayer anointed by the Holy Spirit. Marciano then asked, “Victor, do you remember when we were kids and played baseball.”

Victor said, “Yes, it was so much fun back then.” Then Victor said, “There’s a field not to far from here. What do you say Marciano? Let’s go and play baseball. There’s a ground keeper there that takes care of the baseball field. He will let us use the field.”

Marciano said, “I’ll go and get everything we need to play baseball.”

Victor said, “We have some gloves and baseballs.” When we got to the baseball field, the gentleman was just finishing raking the field and was putting the bases back. The gentleman’s name was Isaiah. He came walking up to us and said, “Hi! My name is Isaiah. How can I help you young men?”

I said, “Hi, my name is Sonny. We were wondering if we could use this field to play baseball. ”

Isaiah said, “Sure, that’s what this field is for. Do you young men have everything you need to play baseball.  I have baseballs, gloves and bats.”

Marciano said, “Sir, we could use some bats and some baseball gloves.”

Isaiah said, “I will locate some bats and baseball gloves for you guys to use and I will put them by the dugout.”

Do you remember people who were playing baseball on this field before I landed? 12 of them came back to use the field today. They asked, “Are you guys going to play baseball now?”

We said, “Yes.”  Then the boys asked, “Can we play a game of baseball with you guys?”

Marciano said, “Sure, let’s pick teams.” Isaiah walked up to Victor and said, “Lou is 16  and he is an amazing pitcher.” Victor and Marciano became the team Captains. I found out all 12 boys in this group that came to play today are Christians. The youngest is 12 years old the oldest is 16. Before they began picking the teams, I had a quarter to see who goes first. I told Victor, “You call it in the air to see which captain chooses first.” I flipped the quarter in the air Victor called “heads” and it was heads. Victor picked his first player who was Lou. Then Marciano picked next. There was total of 44 young men on the field with 22 per team. Isaiah showed up wearing an umpire’s uniform. He said let’s pray before the baseball game starts. As Isaiah began praying, all the boys put their heads down and closed their eyes except Victor. Isaiah walked up to Victor and placed his hand on Victor’s heart. Victor just stood there and let him pray for him. I could hear Isaiah’s prayer for Victor, “Dear God, I lift up Victor and his boys to your Kingdom. Bring healing to their hearts. Father, I ask that you bring healing to them and let them know that you love them and have a purpose for them in this world.”

Victor said, “I’m ready to ask Jesus Christ to forgive me of all my sins.” Then Marciano stepped in and said, “Victor, do you want your name written in the lambs book of life?” Victor said, “Yes, I do.” The Holy Spirit prompted me to ask the rest of the gang members the same question.  I said, “The rest of you that want your names written in the lambs book of life come over here and stand by me.” All of Victor’s gang came and stood by me. Marciano and the 16 others came forward to help pray with Victor’s Gang. The 12 young men who came to play baseball positioned themselves around the front. As they started to talk to Victor’s gang, God showed each young man a verse to read:

Ephesians 4:32
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Psalms 16:8
8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

John 14:6
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Mathew 6:33
33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Psalms 119:105
105 Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.

Joshua 1:5
5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalms 32:8
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Lamentations 3:23
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

Micah 6:8
8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly[a] with your God.

Psalms 34:18-19
18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19 The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all;

Psalms 139:16
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

2 Corinthians 5:1
1 For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

Each boy read their verse to Victor’s gang. I read Jeremiah 29:11 to Victor.

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

It was so powerful how my King used these young men to witness to Victor’s gang and read scriptures to the ones that had just given their hearts to Jesus Christ. We all came together giving hugs and celebrated the Salvation of Victor’s gang.

Victor said, “Call all your parents and have them come and get you. All of you can go home to your parents.” Victor then called his parents. You could hear his parents praising God because Victor and his gang gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. After Victor’s gang called their parents, you could hear them talking about going home. It would be a couple of hours before the parents arrived.

Now it was time to start playing the baseball game. Isaiah flipped the quarter in the air and told Marciano call it in the air. Marciano called “heads” and it landed “heads”. Isn’t it interesting that it was heads both times the quarter was flipped. Does that mean that God wants these young men to look forward and not to look back? They are about to start a new journey.

Marciano said, “My team wants to bat first.”  Victor and his team went out to the field they all rotated positions to make it fair. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. I had so much fun watching the boys playing baseball. It looked like they had been playing together forever. Victor’s team was winning when parents began to arrive. But the boys wouldn’t stop playing.  Marciano and I gathered the parents that arrived and explained to them what our King did. And my King gets all the Glory and the Victory. The parents couldn’t stop crying. The anointing of the Holy Spirit was so beautiful. I then asked, “Do any of the parents want to give your hearts to Jesus Christ.” They all came over and they to gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. It was so beautiful see both the parents and their sons give their lives to Jesus Christ. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. The parents hugged each other then sat down. The boys kept playing baseball and their parents were cheering their sons on. It was such a big celebration. After the game ended the 12 boys introduced themselves to the parents. The parents thanked them for praying for their sons. The 12 boys walked over to me and hugged me and said to me, “You are truly a man of God.”

I said, “I can only do what God tells me to do. The Holy Spirit makes it all happen.”  My King gets all the Glory. The 12 boys said, “Keep your eyes on God’s Kingdom, Sonny.”

Isaiah came to me and said, “God Bless you Sonny for being obedient. You are truly Anointed by our King. I said, “God bless you Isaiah for representing our King at this baseball field.” Isaiah turned and walked away with the 12 boys. My King gets the final Victory. I flew in the police jet back home to Colorado thinking about the wonderful thing God did here in New York.

The Power of Serving

On Saturday God said, ” Take 6 pizza to a park in Denver. 2 gangs will be there. I want you to serve them and talk about me.”

I arrived at the park and set the pizzas on a picnic table. Normally I serve from my pickup box but I felt today I should go to a picnic table.  I have been witnessing to the Gang on my right for a year. So they are getting to know me real well. The other gang I only have known them about 2 months. These two gangs at the park are adversaries of each other.  When they both started walking towards me, God was showing me their hearts and why they are broken.  I started to pray for them as they continued walking towards me. As they were in talking distance of each other, the gang that knew me the longest said, “Guys, this is Sonny. He doesn’t mean any harm to us. Sonny brings food to us and reads the Bible to us. Let’s put our weapons down and just listen to what Sonny is going to read to us.”

They unloaded their pistols and laid them down on the table. As they brought both tables together the presence of the Holy Spirit took over the event. It was so peaceful around both Gangs.  Some of the gang members noticed that some of the others has not received any pizza yet. They picked up the box and started to pass the pizzas around to make sure everyone got a slice. The moment was so powerful. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory.  I read Jeremiah 29 :11:

. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

30 min later I read to them Jeremiah 29:12:

12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Three young men from the gang that knew me the longest came forward.  I prayed for them and they gave their hearts to Jesus Christ.

I looked directly at 2nd gang and read John 3:16-17:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

The message of God’s word touched their hearts. Two from the other gang started to come to me. I prayed for them and they gave their life to Jesus Christ.

Jesus talked in the New Testament about serving others. When this is done with the love that Jesus Christ demonstrates to us, it even becomes more powerful.  The gangs trusted me and felt secure because of the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life. Here are some scriptures that talk about the importance of serving others.

1 Peter 4:10 New International Version (NIV)

10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Galatians 5:13-14 New International Version (NIV)

13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Ephesians 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. 7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, 8 because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.

Colorado Patrolman Stops Me for Prayer

On Sunday morning I left Denver after a night of witnessing. As I was driving down I-25, I came near the 7-Eleven that I frequent quite often. God said, “Sonny, stop and get a large coffee.” So I stopped and ordered a large coffee. The guy who runs the 7-11 gave me a puzzled look. He exclaimed, “Sunny you’re getting a black coffee! Sonny, you never order a coffee.  I always see you get a Coke.”

I said, “God told me to stop and get a large coffee for someone who needs prayer. He never told me who the coffee was for. But I am doing what God asked me to do.”

The guy said, “The coffee is on the house. Here is a coke for no charge for your obedience.” Before I left, he came over and prayed over me for a safe journey.

I continued back on my journey to go to church in Windsor. Approximately 25 minutes later a highway patrolman was behind me with his flashing lights on. I had my cruise control set to 75 so I did not think I was breaking any laws.  The Holy Spirit said, “Sonny, he needs prayer.” After I pulled off the interstate, the patrolman came up to my window and said, “Sonny I need you to pray for me.” This does happened frequently where I have been pulled over by highway patrolmen because they know that I love to pray for them and I love these guys. The patrolman said, “I talked to my Captain and asked for permission to talk to you because I wanted you to pray for me. He said go ahead. You can pull him over to let him pray for you.” You may be asking why or how they know who I am. With technology and the fact that I’ve been praying for these guys for some time, they recognize the vehicle that I drive. It is a honor to pray for these men.

The patrolman asked, “Sonny, is it okay if I sit in your vehicle with you.”

I said, “Sure you’re welcome to do so.”

He went over to the passenger side of my pickup and climbed in and sat down on the seat. As he closed the door of my pickup he noticed my cup of coffee sitting in the cup holder. The patrolman said, “Boy, that coffee sure looks good.”

I said, “God told me to buy it for you.” Of course up to this time, I really didn’t know who it was for but now I do. We started to pray. This patrolman was really hurting. He poured out his heart to God the things he wanted to change and improve for 45 minutes. After we were done praying, he walked back to his patrol car a renewed and changed man. After he left, I headed back to Windsor to go to church thinking about what God will do with the life of this patrolman. I am sure it will be amazing.

When God is present there is safety and comfort. Patrolmen feel safe being around me only because the Holy Spirit can give this security to these men. I can only do what Spirit tells me to do. This verse is for our highway patrolman who do dangerous work to “Protect and Serve”.

Psalm 140:4 New International Version (NIV)

Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of the wicked;
    protect me from the violent,
who devise ways to trip my feet.

Meeting Gangs in Chicago

While I was praying, God said, “Sonny, there are two gangs in Chicago that are causing a lot of problems there. I want you to go to Chicago and share the love of Jesus Christ with them. I have a purpose for their lives.”

God also shared more details of the gangs to prepare me and what to take with me when I would leave for Chicago. Shortly after this the Chicago Police Department called me asking for help for two gangs there. This confirmed what God already told me. I said, “My king said that I should go and witness to these two gangs”. The Chicago Police Department brought out one of their jets to pick me up at Denver International Airport.

As I got on the plane, all the undercover police gave me hugs and thanked me for going to Chicago to see what God is going to do. Three of the undercover police officers on the plane are Christians.  I also discovered the two pilots are also Christians.  The other three passengers, an undercover police officer and two young ladies, weren’t Christians. They served us with pop or water and snacks before we were in the air.  I prayed for our flight as we prepared for take off. After we were airborne a little while I  went and prayed with the undercover police officer that was lost. He began to cry. He said, “I’m done running from God.” He gave his heart to Jesus Christ. The two ladies, after witnessing the salvation of the undercover police officer, came over and asked if I would pray with them. As I started praying, they began to cry and asked Jesus Christ to come into their hearts.  It was beautiful moment on our flight to Chicago.  I read the word of God to them and gave the three Bibles I had in my possession to them.  My King gets all the Glory and the Victory.

When our flight was near Chicago, the pilots flew us over the buildings in “Hell Zone”, as the police called it and where the gangs lived. As the pilots banked the plane, I looked out the window by my seat. It looked really bad from the airplane. I can see why God wanted me here. Once we landed at the airport, the undercover police took me to a building to pray for the undercover police officers that were having a meeting. There was over 200 officers present. God said, “Sonny, pray for them and to read Isaiah 41:10
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

After reading scriptures, I shared what God has been doing in my life and how God protects me from danger. Some of them started to cry.  I asked them, “Those of you that want your names written in the Lambs Book of life to come to the front.”

Over 150 officers came forward. They all accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.   Only the Holy Spirit can prepare this many hearts at one time. God gets all the Glory and the Victory.

I am ready to go out and confront the two gangs. Before I was dropped off where the gangs were, God said, “Sonny,  take 54 Bibles and the 54 crosses with you. A man whose name is Job will give you box with the crosses to take with you. For food take doughnuts,  milk and orange juice.” As I was going about my business in Chicago, a man whose name was Job came out of nowhere with a box of 54 crosses. When he handed me the white box, Job said, “These are from our King.” Then he said, “Sonny, walk by faith not by sight. Keep your eyes on God’s Kingdom.”

The police provided a wagon for me to transport my supplies. The undercover police officers dropped me off 12 blocks away from the abandoned building where the gangs are hanging out. I was walking toward the gangs that God called “Lions”.  There are 15 gang members and 11 girls in one gang. The other gang has 18 gang members and 10 girls. I can witness to both gangs here because both gangs are facing each other now. They are yelling at each other and aiming their pistols at each other.  When I saw them, God started showing me their brokenness. As I got closer to them all of them re-positioned their pistols towards me.  The leader on the right side exclaimed, “What’s your last words before I shoot you? You made a serious  mistake coming here. ”

I said,  “Jesus Christ loves all of you and I forgive you and love you just like Jesus Christ has loved me and forgiven me.” Then I said,  “Before you shoot me, let me pray for every single one of you and when I’m done praying then you can shoot me.”

God said to me,  “Start walking through the gangs to where all the girls are. Pray for the girls first.”

I prayed with the girls and anointed them with olive oil and put Crosses on them. None of the gang members moved.

Then God said to me, “Now pray for the gang members.” I was praying for them and anointed them with olive oil on their foreheads and putting the crosses around their necks. Again none of them moved. God wouldn’t let them move at all.  God then instructed me,  “Go to the girls and ask them if they wanted their names written in the lambs book of life.”

I asked the question. All 21 girls came along side with me as we were walking by the gang members. Still none of them moved. God said to me, “Walk away from them.” I walked the girls 12 blocks where buses were waiting for us. There was a bus for the boys and a bus for the girls.  God told me earlier,  “Sonny, before you  meet the gangs, I want a separate bus for the girls and the boys.  They will all give their hearts to me. I want you remove them all from Hell Zone and take them to a safe place.” The boys bus had a male Christian undercover driver and there are a seven male Christian counselors present to talk to the boys. The ladies bus had a female Christian undercover police officer driver. There are seven Christian women counselors  on board the bus to talk to the girls.

The ladies that were waiting by the bus were undercover police officers. They were there waiting for the girls that would come. They hugged the girls and loved them and told them they were safe. They encouraged them to call their parents to see if they would meet them at the safe park.

I went back and stood between both gangs again. They still had not moved. The leader on the left said,  “Where’s all the Girls?”

I said, “God told me to take them where they would be safe.”

The leader responded, “How did you do that? I didn’t see you take them anywhere.”

I said, “It’s because of my King. My King didn’t want you to see them walk away from here.” Then God said to me,  “Tell them tomorrow is never promised. They needed to make a decision where they wanted to spend eternity in the Lake of fire or in God’s Kingdom.” then God said, “Read John 3:16 ,17 and Isaiah 41:10. After I read the scripture to them I shared what God told me.  I asked them, “Do you want your names written in the Lambs book of life?”

All dropped their weapons and walked towards me. They replied, “You have scared us. Your King took all the girls away and we didn’t see it happening. We want to know your King. Can you pray for us?”

I prayed with them. One by one they began accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. As the boys walked the 12 blocks to the bus, I said, “Do not look back.” When we arrived at the bus, the boys asked, “Where are you taking us?”

I said, “To a safe park. You should  call your parents.”

There was a park that the undercover police knew about that was safe for them and their families.  They told them the name of the park where they would be going. The boys then told their parents where they were going to be. Everyone of the parents came for the young men. I prayed for all their parents. Eight of the parents gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. The rest were already Christians. I told them to destroy their cell phone chips which they did immediately.   I went to the other bus. We took the girls to another park where all their parents were waiting for them. There was a lot of crying. I prayed for all the parents of the young girls.  Twelve of the parents gave their hearts to Jesus Christ.  The rest of the parents were Christians already. I told their parents to destroy all the girls cell phone chips and they did immediately. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. God is Faithful.

The wagon with all the food we put in the buses. We ate the food at the safe parks.  I read  them John 3:16 ,17 and Isaiah 41:10 again. After spending 2 days in Chicago, my King had me go back home to Colorado. I went back home in the same jet and landed at Denver International Airport

John 3:16 ,17
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Isaiah 41:10
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Entire Dallas Gang Give Lives for Jesus Christ

Monday morning when I landed in DIA at Denver, I received a phone call from an undercover police officer.  He said, “Sonny a gang moved to Denver last Friday from Dallas Texas. There are 20 of them.”   He then told me where  I would find them.

God said, “Read John 3:16 to them and take them fried chicken.” I went to King Soopers and I picked up 40 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I then filled a cooler full of bottled water. I placed the food into my pickup and headed to the location where they were hanging out. When I pulled up to the gang and climbed out of my pickup, the Leader said, “What do you want?”

I said, “My Boss sent me here to meet you because he said you guys were hungry.”

The leader said, “So, who’s your Boss.”

I said, “His name is Jesus Christ. He told me to bring fried chicken.”

As they started to eat, I prayed out loud to Bless the food. I then read John 3:16 to them.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

When I finished reading,  three of them came to me and said, “We are ready to accept Jesus Christ.” So the three gang members from Dallas, Texas gave their hearts to Jesus Christ on Monday. God is so faithful. One of them has an Uncle and Aunt that lives in Pueblo, Colorado. They drove to Denver to pick the young men up. The other young men’s parents are coming from Dallas, Texas to take them back to their homes.  We stayed up most of the night Monday talking about the awesomeness of  God. The Uncle and Aunt from Pueblo, Colorado also asked a lot of questions about God. They both gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. It was beautiful to see. They all cried and kept hugging me and each other. My king, Jesus Christ, gets all the glory and the victory.

Tuesday was more powerful then Monday. That morning I went again to the park where the Dallas Gang has been hanging out. I parked my pickup in the middle of all their cars and proceeded to get out of my vehicle. The leader said, “What are you going to read to us this morning?”

I said, “My king told me to read Mathew 6:33 to all of you. I brought doughnuts and milk for all of you guys.”

While they were eating, I read Mathew 6:33

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The leader started to cry and all the gang members began to surround us. They asked him, “What’s going on?”

The leader said, “That verse hangs up in my Grandma and Grandpa’s living room. My Grandma told me when I was a little boy, someday a man is going to read this verse to you and you are going to give your heart to God. This  man will be sent to you by God.”

The leader asked for forgiveness and gave his heart to Jesus Christ. The rest of the gang said, “We have known about Jesus Christ for a long time. Our leader has never cried before.  This must be real.”

The entire gang gave their hearts to Jesus Christ today. They all called their parents and told them what they did. Their parents welcomed them back  home in Dallas, Texas. They are on their way back home as of this writing. My king gets all the glory and the victory.

As I was writing down the events of the greatness of our God, I had a chance to talk to the Grandma and the Grandpa of the Leader.  The Grandma was so excited. She said, “I know all those boys and I had them in children’s church every Sunday and Wednesday nights. I praise God that they finally gave their hearts to Jesus Christ.”

My king gets all the glory and the victory. Amen.  Before they headed back to Texas, I went with the gang members and talked to their landlord and told him what God did to their hearts. The landlord is a Christian and he prayed with them before they drove to Dallas, Texas.  The house was rented to them last Friday. The Landlord gave them back their rent for the month and gave them their deposit back. It was so powerful. God is amazing.  The parents of the boys are having a big celebration barbecue for all the boys and rejoicing to have them come back home.

Popcorn Used to Witness to Gangs

I went back to Denver Sunday afternoon to spend more time witnessing to the Gangs down there. On the drive down, God said, “Go and pick up 4 big bags of popcorn at Costco and take them with you.”

I had a cooler full of bottle water for all of the gangs. The first gang I talked to shared with me for a long time while eating two bags of popcorn. None of them gave their hearts to Jesus Christ at this time but they let me pray for all of them before they left the park. I went over to the second gang and asked, “Do you guys want some popcorn?”

The gang excitedly responded, “It would be great to have some popcorn.” I proceeded to bring out the popcorn and water. As they started eating, I read Jeremiah 29:11.

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Two of them came over to stand by me. One of them asked, “Can God really forgive me?”

I said, “If you ask for forgiveness, my King will forgive you and forget all your sins. Your hearts will be transformed and my King will give you a new purpose for your life.”

They both gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. I received the opportunity to take them back to their parents. Their parents were Christians. My King gets all the glory and the victory.

The second Gang thought it was funny that I brought popcorn to both of the Gangs. Both gangs I am sure feel that someone does care about them. Pray that a seed has been planted in their hearts and I am hoping to be able to witness to them again sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

KFC Chicken Blessing Gangs

Saturday morning I received  a call from one of my informers telling me that there was a Gang at the park in Commerce City. God said, “It is the Latinos. I want you to take napkins,  plastic plates and  bottled water with you before you go to meet them.”

As I was driving to Commerce City, God said, “Read from my Word when you get there from Jeremiah 29:11.”

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

When I arrived at the park, I noticed that it was the Latino Gang. They were by a picnic table and there was 4 buckets of KFC. They even had a McDonald’s ice tea for me like they were expecting me to come and see them. As I walked towards them I noticed a different Gang on the other side of the park. The Leader of the Latinos said, “Here’s your ice tea.”

I said, “Thank you guys for thinking of me.” then I said, “You guys are definitely  hungry today with 4 buckets of KFC.”

The leader said, “Two of the buckets are for us and the other two buckets are for the Gang that’s over there.” The Leader then asked, “Sonny will you take it to them. Don’t tell them it’s from us.”

I said, “Sure I’ll take it to them. But I cannot lie by taking credit for it.  They need to know you are the blessing to them.”

The Leader and his boys also grabbed some water. I said, “This is really nice of you guys doing this for that other Gang.”

The Latino Leader said, “They’re hungry! I want to give them something to eat like you gave us something to eat.”

God has made them sensitive to the point where they recognized the need that this other gang was hungry.  Even more powerfull is the desire to share. God is definitely softening their hearts.

So I put the buckets in my Pickup and drove to the other side of the park. When I got out of my pickup the Leader of that Gang started to walk to me and said, “What do you want?”

I said, “I brought KFC and water for you guys.” After I put the two buckets, plates and napkins on the picnic table, I got my cooler with the water bottles. They started to eat the KFC. There was 14 in this Gang. They came from Dallas Texas. As they were eating the Leader said, ” What’s the Bible for?”

I said, “God told me to read Jeremiah 29:11 to all of you.”

After I read it, two of them came forward and asked, “What kind of plans does God have for us?”

I said, “God wants you to give your hearts to him and to live for him. God will give you a new purpose in this world.”

The Leader said, “If you two give your hearts to God then you better go with Sonny.”

Those two gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. The Leader said to the other boys, “Let’s go. Thanks for lunch.”  They drove away.  They never asked where the chicken came from or why would someone do something like this? Holy Spirit continue to let this blessing from the other gang change their hearts.

The two that stayed with me said, “We have Uncles here in Denver. Will you take us to them?”

I said, “Yes.”

When I got to their Uncles homes, a lot of people came running out to hug them. They cried for awhile. All their Uncles family loves our King. The boys told them that they had given their hearts to Jesus Christ. It was beautiful to see my King get all the Glory and the Victory.

New Gang In Denver

God has lead me back to talk to another gang in a Denver park. I was praying to God how to proceed.

God said, “I want you to serve them KFC.”

I said, “I have a gift card to get chicken at King Soopers instead.”

God said, “Sonny listen to me. I want you to get the largest KFC bucket meal on the board to serve to them.”

I obeyed God’s command  and purchased the chicken at KFC and left for the park. When I arrived at the park where this gang was, I noticed that no one looked familiar and they likewise with me. They drew their weapons and pointed them towards me. The gang leader demanded, “What are you doing here?”

I said, “Jesus Christ told me that you guys are hungry and to make sure that I had enough. He told me serve you the big KFC chicken bucket meal.”

The gang leader said, “KFC is my favorite chicken. It is the best chicken.”

One gang member then blurted out, “This Jesus Christ must be a pretty cool dude.”

What is unusual about this, the expression “Kentucky Fried Chicken” was  never used either by God or the gang members. It was “KFC”. God loves us so much that he cares about our likes. Only KFC would do for this gang.

I proceeded to get the food and drink out of my pickup. The gang members started to take things to a nearby picnic table to eat. One of the gang members opened my cooler and saw the cooled drinks. He said, “Are these bottled waters for us?”

I said, “Yes”

The gang member said, “This is great that we get to drink bottled water with our chicken.”

As they started eating, I read John 3:16-17 to them. They ate all the chicken, cole slaw, mashed potatoes and gravy. They ate everything picking the bones clean. I then cut the desert and served that next.

The gang appeared to be of Latino decedent. I asked the gang leader, “Where are you from?”

The gang leader exclaimed, “Why do you want to know?”

I said, “You know it’s really not that important. God already knows where you are from.”

The gang leader asked, “Will Jesus Christ forgive me unconditionally?”

From this question I was wondering if he once knew Jesus Christ. I responded, “If you truly want his forgiveness, he will forget about your past sins forever.”

The gang leader said, “Sonny, we are not ready yet.”

The gang members went back to their cars and left. The cars they were driving are classics from the sixties. They were not lowriders but they were all in mint condition. The Holy Spirit planted a seed today and it will germinate. They will come back.

Speaking to Undercover Cops and 2 Opposing Gangs

Last night after I prayed and read some scriptures to the Undercover Police, three walked up to the front and one of them said, “I have been coming here on Friday’s for a month and God has been pulling at my heart to go to the front and give my heart to Jesus Christ. I’m done running. I’m here now and I want to know the king you know.”

The three officers gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. My King gets all the Glory and the Victory. It was so amazing to see them give their hearts to Jesus Christ.

After spending time with the undercover police officers, I got a call from one of my informers that there were two Gangs at a park. Before I went to meet the two Gangs,  God said, “Pick up cookies and milk so you can serve them.”

After getting the food, I headed to the park where the gangs were at.  I read the word of God to them as I was between the two Gangs. I was also praying and asked God, “What do you want me to do?”

God said, “You have frisbees.”

I threw one frisbee to one Gang and then threw another frisbee to the other Gang. They started throwing them back and forth from one Gang to the other. It was so much fun to see them having fun instead of fighting each other. As they started walking to me, I put out the cookies, milk and cups. As I poured the milk, they asked, “Is this for us?”

I said, “Yes”

As both Gangs started eating cookies, I read
Psalm – 34:18,19
18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19 The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all;

and then Jeremiah 29:11.
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

These are the verses God said to read to them. Four gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. Three were from 1 Gang and one from the other. My king Jesus Christ gets all the Glory and the Victory.

God has called me to witness to other Gangs in Denver tomorrow.

Serving Breakfast Burritos to the Latino gang

Saturday morning I went to witness to the Latino Gang in Denver the week before they asked, “The next time you come and talk to us about Jesus Christ bring us breakfast burritos.”

I asked, “What kind do you want?”

The leader said, “Sausage, egg and potatoes with green chili.”

I said, “That’s what I’ll bring.”

I made 3 dozen burritos for them. They were still warm when I got there. The first thing the Leader said, “If your going to talk to us about Jesus Christ you better have brought burritos.”

I said, “I brought 3 dozen breakfast burritos and water for you guys to drink.”

As those 15 young men were eating breakfast burritos, I read the word of God to the gang. Three of them asked, “How can God forgive them because they have done so many bad things?”

I said, “If you ask God to come into your hearts and ask God to forgive you of all your sins, God will forgive you and forget your sins and your names will be written in the lambs book of life.”

The three young men gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. The rest of the Gang Members just stood there and were listening. After a short pause the remaining Latino Gang drove away.  I gave the three a ride to an uncle. One of them has family in Westminster. The parents of the three drove all the way from San Jose California to rescue their children. They went back to California yesterday morning with their parents. God is Faithful my King gets all the Glory and the Victory.
