Jeremiah’s Gang Gives Hearts to Jesus Christ

I went to Denver to meet with one of my informers. He said, “I have four dozen donuts and two gallons of milk for the gang you are going to see.” I asked, “Do you have any information for me?” He replied, “We saw a gang of 12 boys at another park yesterday. They spent the night there. This park is about ten blocks from here. We really don’t know where they are from. We think they may be from Pueblo Colorado.” I exclaimed, “Ok I know what park that is, and God wants me to go see them.” I went to the park and pulled up on them. They started talking to each other trying to figure out what had just happened. I finished parking and got out of my truck with my bible. The leader asked, “Who are you?” I replied, “I am the delivery boy today.” Still trying to figure out what is going on they continued asking, “What are you delivering?” I replied, “Breakfast, but I think I got the wrong place.” They quickly said, “No, you have the right place.” I pulled out a piece of paper from my pocket. I pointed to the address and said, “I still think I am at the wrong place. what does this say to you?” The leader took the paper from me and said, “This doesn’t have an address on it. It just says Jesus loves you. Who sent you here?”

I said, “Jesus Christ himself. He replied, “So Jesus sent you here?” I said, “Yes, he said you are hungry.” This gang was hungry, and you could see the anticipation in their eyes about getting something to eat. One of the boys asked, “What did you bring us to eat?” I replied, “Donuts, cereal and milk.” Jeremiah the gang leader said, “A donut sounds good right now.” I put the boxes of donuts and the cereal on the picnic table and got the cups and the bowls for the milk and cereal. Two of the boys started pouring the milk in cups and started passing them out. I said, “Let me pray for the breakfast.” All the boys took their caps off while we prayed. When I was done praying the boys started eating. I started reading John 3:16. I asked, “Do you know what Sunday was about?” They said, “Easter!” I said, “Yes, God sent his son to die for us and the sins of the world. He loves you and has a plan for you. The enemy wants to destroy you, but my King wants to restore you. I read Jeremiah 29:11 and Matthew 6:33 to them.

I then said, “Where you live right now is temporary, but Jesus Christ is eternal.” One of the boys spoke up and said, “I went to church with my parents, but my dad was a drug addict. He went to church with us on Sunday but the rest of the week he was on drugs and was abusive. So, I ran away.” I replied, “Jesus knows your name and he knows what you went through.” He then asked, “Why would Jesus come to save us? We are not worthy let alone dying for the sins of the world.” I replied, “You forgot that his father created us. That is why he sent his son to die for us so we could go to heaven and spend eternity with our King.”

The leader confided in me that he and his brother had been gone for four years. Because our dad was an alcoholic most of the time, we didn’t have enough food to eat but he always had money to buy his alcohol. That’s the main reason why we both left. I started passing out my ministry cards to everyone. The leader looked at me and said, “My name is Jeremiah, and this is my brother Samson. It is hard to forget and forgive what our father did to us.” I replied, “Jesus died for our sins but he still forgave those that whipped him and crucified him. He died for us before we were even born. Jesus still finished the race. He knew why he was here. My purpose here on earth is to serve him.” Samson then said, “I can tell your serving him with all of your heart.” I replied, “God has a plan for your lives.” I then read Jeremiah 29:11 and John 14:6 to them.

As I was explaining the scriptures to them, it was almost noon. I then looked at them and I could tell these boys were hungry for food. I continued, “Jeremiah, I know you haven’t trusted anyone for a long time, but will you trust me? Will you go with me to get some pizzas for your gang?” He replied, “I don’t know if I want to go!” His brother spoke up and said, “Come on brother, go with him. Go with this guy. I trust him. If you don’t go, I’ll go with him.” Jeremiah replied, “OK I will go.” I looked at his men and said, “We’ll be right back!” We got into my truck and left for “Little Caesars” where I ordered four large pizzas. When we arrived back at the park I asked, “I need help getting the coolers out of the back of the truck.” Some of the boys jumped up to help. Before we ate, I said, “Let me pray for lunch and thank God for the pizza. When I was done praying the boys were so excited about what happened. They thanked me several times. As they began eating, I asked, “If you boys had only three days to live, what would you say to your parents and your siblings. Would you say you’re sorry for the things you said and did. Asking for forgiveness brings healing. Do you guys want to write a note to your dads and family members? God wants to bring healing to you guys. You are blessed to still have your parents.” Jeremiah said, “I don’t know about the boys, but I want to write a note to my parents and brothers and sisters.” The boys wanted notepads too. I passed out the notepads and pens and to all of them. They started writing their notes. Samson said, “This is a good idea, Sonny. All the boys finally finished their notes. They wanted me to read their notes before they gave them to family. Some of the boys began crying. I said, “Let me anoint you with your notes before you go to deliver them.” All the boys thanked me for everything. They then left to deliver them. Later that night, the boys called me and said, “Everything went well. Eight of the boys stayed for dinner with their families. Jeremiah said, “Sonny, my dad got help after we ran away and now, he helps at the church. He also drives the Sunday school bus.”

All their dads have gone through counseling, and they’re all saved. Jeremiah called me again and told me that all their parents are coming to the house tonight because they want to meet me. They were also ready to ask Jesus Christ into their hearts. So, I went to their house to meet everyone. The entire gang wanted to give their hearts to Jesus Christ and wanted their names written in the Lambs Book of Life. They asked God to forgive them of their sins they asked Jesus Christ into their hearts. Everyone was crying and their families were so proud of their boys. Our King gets all the glory and the victory.

Francisco’s Gang Accepts Jesus Christ

4/1/24
I got a call early this morning. It was Kristina, one of the twelve girls from Francisco’s gang. She said, “Sonny all of us girls stayed with our parents last night. We called Francisco and told him that we were not coming back. We told him that we didn’t want any of our things. You can donate them to the salvation army. I was shocked because Francisco said it was OK because were giving our hearts to Jesus Christ and going home to our families too. Sonny, can we meet you at the park with all our families at 11:00 am.” I said, “I’ll be there.” Kristina said, “We too want to give our hearts to Jesus Christ.” When the girls arrived at the park they ran to me. After their parents caught up, they kept thanking me for reaching out to their daughters and for helping them write the notes. They exclaimed, “Thats was such a good idea.” The girls looked different. They were dressed more modestly. As the Holy Spirit began to move there was a lot of crying and hugging going on. When I was done talking to all their parents the girls started coming to the front and lined up. They said, “We are ready to give our heart to Jesus Christ. We want transformed hearts before we go home.”

I asked, “Have all of you girls forgiven your fathers?” They confirmed they had. Kristina then spoke up and said, “If we don’t forgive our parents, Jesus won’t forgive us.” What she just said made all the dads start crying. I then asked, “Do all of you believe Jesus is the Son of God?” They confirmed he was. I then asked, “Do you believe Jesus died and rose again on the third day?” They confirmed he did. I then asked, “Do you believe that your names will be written in the Lambs Book of Life?” They confirmed that would happen.

All their family members were really crying now. When the girls asked God to forgive them of all their sins, the girls turned around and looked at their dads and said, “Dad, we truly have forgiven you. You have changed your lives and made our home a safe home to live in. We are so proud of you!” The girls became even more emotional. They turned back around and asked Jesus Christ to come into their hearts. All their families began hugging them and crying. I got all the bibles that I had and anointed and signed them. The girls in turn signed them and dated them. All their parents kept thanking me for sticking with their daughters. I reminded them that my King gets all the glory and the victory.

It was getting late, and it was time to go. All the girls hugged me as they were leaving. After everyone had left, I called Francisco and told him the girls and all their families had been here that the girls had given their hearts to Jesus Christ. Francisco replied, “The girls didn’t come home last night so I figured they were staying with their families. I can’t wait for that to happen to us, Sonny. We got up early and cleaned the house and the landlord gave us our first month and last month deposit back.”

I said, “What time do you want to meet? he replied, “We can be there before 1:00 pm.”, I confirmed the time. Time went by quickly and all the boys started arriving with their parents. It was fun to meet all their parents. Soon one by one they began crying. All the boys wanted to read their notes again to their dads. All the parents began crying after they finished.
Francisco said, “Ok Sonny we are ready to give our hearts Jesus Christ and have our hearts transformed.” All the boys lined up.

I said, “Do all of you believe Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day? They all said yes.

I said, “Do you believe that your saved through Jesus Christ? They confirmed yes.

I said, “Repeat after me.” Samuel interrupted, “Sonny, can I say a verse I memorized when I was little. I have really been thinking about this verse I said, “Please do! I am so proud of you that you still remember that verse.” He continued, “Its Matthew 7:14. I was thinking about this verse because it’s only a few of us and we found life and we found Jesus Christ.” As he was quoting it his parents were crying. They then began to asked God to forgive them of all their sins and aske Jesus into their hearts. Their families hugged them and continued crying. I had bibles for each one of them. They walked over to pick up a bible. I signed each one of them. They in turn signed their bible and dated them. When they were done, I asked, “Francisco, do you have anything to say?” he replied, “Yes I do! This was one of the best days of my life. I have eternal life because of what Jesus Christ went through for all of us.” His parents were so proud of him, and they hugged him still in tears.

As they were getting ready to leave Francisco gave me an envelope. It was the deposit money they got back from the landlord. He said, “We have decided to give this to the girls so they can buy new summer clothes. Can you please give it to them.” I said, “Yes I will call them now.” All the boys hugged me as they were going home with their families. I called the girls, and they came back with their parents. The girls couldn’t believe that Francisco had given them this gift. All their dads said, “That was very kind of the boys.”

Our ministry thanks you for your prayers. God gets all the glory and the victory!

James Gang Gives Hearts to Jesus

  • It is 3/29/24. My King had me go to Colorado Springs today. My informers told him about a gang that was intimidating families at the parks in the area. They would just show up at random times and scare everyone by acting all tough and mean. My informers had donuts, muffins, Captain Crunch cereal and milk. They also had three coolers stocked with cold drinks for the gang. When I arrived at the park where the gang was hanging out, I got out of my truck with my bible. The gang leader yelled, “You’re blocking our view!” I asked, “What is your name?” The leader replied, “Mustang! What do you want? Did somebody send you here?” I said, “Yes.” One of the 14 boys in his gang exclaimed, “I told you that somebody sent him here!”

The leader’s curiosity was being aroused and asked, “Is he around here?” I said, “Yes he is.” Mustang asked, “Well, where is he? We can’t see anyone.” I said, “If you were on my side you would see him.” The leader asked again, “Who is he?” I said, “His name is “Jesus Christ. He sent me here and you know what, he doesn’t like bullies. Tell me when you were little boys did you like bullies?” They replied, “No man!” I said, “You guys are the good guys. You don’t have to be scaring children and their families from the parks.” The leader asked, “Your shirt says street gospel so are you a pastor?” I said, “I minister to gangs in several states.” Mustang interrupted and said, “And your still alive.” I said, “It’s not up to them when I die. Its up to my King when that day is.” He said, “You are pretty brave Sonny to do what you are doing.” I replied, “It’s because of my King that I am able to do what I do.”

I asked, “Is Mustang your real name?” The leader replied, “No! It is James.” I then asked, “Are you boys hungry?” James replied, “We are starving!” I said, “I need volunteers to get the food.” I opened the door to my truck and the boys helped me get everything setup on the picknick tables. They started by setting the bowls out and pouring the cereal in the bowls. As they finished setting up everything else, I said, “Why don’t we pray for the breakfast.” All the boys bowed their heads and the ones that were wearing caps took them off. When I was done praying, they started serving themselves. James said, “Sonny, I have heard a lot of people pray but I have never heard anyone pray like you do.” I said, “I pray from my heart to my King.”

James then asked, “What else do you want with us?” I replied, “Do you know what today is?” One of the boys said, “Well, it is easter Sunday.” I said, “Yes, but what happened today?” No one was ready to answer my question. I continued, “Jesus was crucified and he died for our sins do you believe that?” His men all said, “Yes.” James said, “So you just go around telling gangs about Jesus?” I replied, “Yes, because you boys are broken. You have been hurt by your dads. That’s why you’re out here. Even Jesus was hurt by people. He knows what it feels like. James asked, “How can he be hurt? He was the Son of God.” I replied, “Jesus was born as a baby. He was all God and all man to experience what humans experience to feel what we feel.” James asked, “You’re a pastor. How much money do you make a year?” I replied, “Counting like the food stamps and everything else.” All the boys started laughing and asked, “Are you really on food stamps?” I said, “No, I live by faith and my King is faithful in providing for my needs. My riches are not here in this world, but they are in Gods Kingdom.” James said, “You are pretty amazing!” I said, “It is my King that is amazing!”

One of the boys asked, “How come it took three days for him to rise again?” I replied, “When Jesus was fighting Satan, he took the light of God there and took the keys of death away from Satan.” One of the boys chimed in and said, “Just like you brought the light to us.” I said, “I brought the light of Gods Kingdom here.” James then asked, “Why did Jesus go through all of that for us?” I then inquired, “Who can quote John 3:16 to me?” One of the boys started quoting, “He did it for us because he loves us.” James was impressed. I then asked, “How many of you guys talk to your family?” Some raised their hands. James said, “I need to ask you a question? Sonny, do you think it’s a good idea to reach out to our dads?” I said, “Yes. Let me ask you this question: “If you guys would only have three days to live what would you say to your dads, moms and siblings? I think you boys need to remember that tomorrow is never promised, not even for me. How would you like to write a note to your dads and family members? If you need to ask them for forgiveness, ask for forgiveness now.” James then asked, “How about if they don’t forgive us.” I replied, “If they don’t forgive you that’s on them. You did what God told you to do. God will not forgive them, and the lake of fire is for eternity not just for the weekend. So, who would like a note pad?”

The leader was the first to take one. He said, “I am a little rusty at this. I haven’t written anything in a long time. I might need some help.” I said, “If you need help I can help you.” The boys started writing their notes. Soon all the boys finished. All the boys wanted me to read the notes they prepared for their dads. I read the leader’s note first. It said, “Dad I really miss all of you. Can you forgive me for hitting you before I ran out of the house. I forgive you dad because you’re a human just like I am.”

I continued reading over all their notes to all their family members. As I finished, I said, “God wants to bring healing to your families.” I prayed and anointed them with their notes. It was getting late into the afternoon. I said, “Before you leave are you boys hungry. They did not hesitate to say they were. I said, “Let me go get pizzas for you boys. I’ll be right back.” They all waited for me until I returned. We prayed over the pizzas and all the boys thanked me for all the food. I picked up three more coolers with cold drinks in them. When they finished eating, I told them to take all the food that was left over and take the coolers with them. They were very thankful. James asked, “Sonny, can you anoint us one more time.” When I was done anointing them and started getting into their cars. James came running back and said, “I didn’t say goodbye to you. I want to thank you for coming to us. You know when you first got here, I wanted to tell you to get out of here, but the words wouldn’t come out of my mouth.” I said, “I know. Thats because my King did not want you to say that to me.”

He gave his final thanks and drove away. God told me to wait at the park. After three hours had passed, James called me and said, “Where are you?” I replied, “I’m still at the park.” James said, “We are almost there. We read the notes to our families and all our dads have gotten help and have stopped drinking. They have given their hearts to Jesus Christ. Our dads and our families have all asked for forgiveness. We have asked for forgiveness too. Our families have asked us to come back home.” The gang and their families began arriving at the park. All the boys stood in front of me and said, “We want to ask Jesus Christ into our hearts now. We want our names written in the Lambs Book of Life.” James and his gang asked for the forgiveness of their sins and asked Jesus Christ into their hearts. My King gets all the glory and the victory.

My informers called me after everyone left and said, “Hey Sonny, that was impressive. We were watching the whole thing transpire. We were all blown away. This gang was mean, and you show up and they began listening to you right away. We saw them bow their heads to pray and sit down to eat. We saw them writing the notes before they left. We continued to watch as they all came back with their families and gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. We couldn’t believe what just happened. We could see guns on three of the boys when they were eating.” I replied, “Yes, I saw their guns too. God said they don’t have bullets in them. Thank you for your prayers. God gets all the glory and the victory!!

All the informers that were watching were blown away at what they had just witnessed.

I heard from James late at night. They spent time at home for the first time in years. James said, “It was amazing. It paid off handsomely. Sonny, all the boys stayed with their families for dinner last night.” I then picked up the boys from their families the next day to celebrate Jesus. We all got home late. All the boys are so excited.” James switched topics and said, “Someone wants to talk to you Sonny.” It was Ezra, nicknamed “Frog”. I said, “He talks just like the kid in the little rascals they called Frog “

James replied, “Yes!”  Frog then said, “Sonny, my mom cooked me my favorite meal in the whole world. We had beef and bean burritos that were topped and smothered. We had a good time.” I was so happy for them. James then said, “Ok Sonny we just wanted to tell you everything went really well. There was a lot of crying and hugging going on this morning. All of us are excited to be home.” I began to think of ways that Jesus might use this gang to expand his Kingdom.

Antonio’s Gang Gives Hearts to Jesus Christ

On 3/25/24 I received a call from my informers that there is a new gang of fifteen in the area. My informers said, “You can stop by and pick up the three coolers, donuts and Captain Crunch cereal.”  I silently said, “Even the informers love Captain Crunch cereal.” I thanked them and prayed with them before I left. I went to visit the new gang at their home. When I arrived, I carefully checked my surroundings before I got out of my pickup. It seemed safe enough, so I walked up to the door with my bible and rang the doorbell.  They sternly asked, “What do you want?” I replied, “I have breakfast for you.” I could hear the leader talking to his men in the background. He said, “I think this is Sonny.” They all wanted to know, “Are you Sonny?” I confirmed that I was. The leader introduced himself, “My name is Antonio. We have heard about you. Is it true that you never give up on gangs? Even if they tell you to leave do you still hang around.”

I confirmed everything he asked. Antonio continued, “Is it true you feed gang members?” I replied, “Yes, I have Captain Crunch cereal.” they asked, “Did you bring milk?” I never had so many questions like this, so I decided it was time to have some fun. I said, “Yes, I even brought the cow with me.” All the boys laughed. I continued, “I almost forgot. I have donuts.  They thanked me. I asked, “I need some help.” The boys helped bring in the coolers, bowls and spoons. As they were setting up breakfast I said, ” Let me pray for the meal.” All the boys bowed their heads.

Antonio asked, “Sonny, why do you do this?” I replied, “It is because you boys are broken. God wants to bring healing to you guys and your families?”

Antonio then asked, “How can God heal a broken family?” I replied, “First you have to have a forgiving heart.”

Antonio asked, “How do you get that?” I said, “You have to ask God for forgiveness and ask Jesus Christ into your heart. That’s the only way you can forgive.”

Antonio asked, “How do you forgive a father that abused you and your mom and brothers and sisters? I said, “Even the son of God had to learn to forgive. He forgave those that whipped and crucified him.” Some of the boys started crying.

Antonio asked, “I need help Sonny. I need to learn to forgive my dad. I have been gone for three years. I want to be sure that my dad isn’t abusing my family.” I said, “When you left it made your dad really think about what he was doing! I know that is true because he is getting help. Let me tell you what Jesus went through.” One of the boys interrupted and said, “He was crucified, and he rose up on the third day.” I said, “Yes!” He then asked, “How come it took him so long?” I replied, “When Jesus was in hell, he was there to fight the enemy and take the keys away from Satan. Our king was victorious.”

Antonio asked, “What scriptures are you going to read to us?” I said, “John 3:16.” His right-hand man Isaac quoted it. he said, “that was my first verse I memorized in Sunday school.” All the boys were shocked and said, “You know that verse?” He said, “Thats the only bible verse I memorized.” I replied, “I am proud of you man.” While giving me knuckles he responded, “Thank you Sonny for your encouragement. It’s been a long time since I have heard those words.” I said, “When you forgive it has to come from the heart not just from your mouth.” I paused for a moment then asked, “If you guys had only three days to live what would you say to your parents and siblings. Would you like to have a note pad to write a note to your family?”

Antonio said, “That would be awesome!” I got the note pads out of my pickup and asked, “Who wants a note pad?” Isaac was the first one to take a notepad. He said, “I know what I am going to say!” All the boys started writing their notes. I helped the ones that needed help. They were almost done when Antonio said, “We have to get going Sonny. We will finish them later.” I said, “The choices you make today could change your destiny forever. Don’t fall in temptation with the cartels or the mafia.”

Antonio said, “We won’t Sonny. Thats a promise.” I prayed for them before as they were getting ready to leave. I said, God is faithful. God loves you boys and he has a purpose for your lives.” Isaac said, “I wish you were my dad.” He ran to the car. He didn’t want me to see him cry. They got into their cars and left. I was there for almost four hours. Antonio and his men delivered their notes to their families.

I met with Antonio, and he told me that after they delivered the notes to their families they began crying. All their families asked, “When can we meet Sonny?” We met on 3/27/24 at 8:00 am. I met all of their parents. They kept thanking me for ministering to their boys and for feeding them when they were hungry. Some of the boys said they spent the night with their families. All their families are saved. The reaction from the gang was exciting. They said, “Our dads cried and asked for forgiveness. Everyone cried when they read our notes.”

They Holy Spirit prompted me that it was time and I said, “Those of you that want your names written in the Lambs Book of Life come forward.” All 15 boys came forward with their families standing behind them, I continued, “Do you believe that Jesus died for our sins.” They confirmed what they believed. I continued, ”Do you believe he rose again on the third day.” They confirmed they did. Then one by one they asked God to forgive them of all their sins and asked Jesus into their hearts. They all cried as their families were hugging them. I gave them bibles. I signed each bible and they signed and dated them. I said, “Do you boys want to see something?” They asked, “What?” I put on a mustache, and they began laughing.

You may be wondering what the story behind the mustache is. Before I officially met this gang my informers dressed me up as an old man with a mustache on. I pulled a wagon towards this gang while I was limping. I asked, ”For $2 you can have a drink and chips. Today you get a free sandwich with your meal.” The gang members thought that would be a good idea, but they did not have the money to pull it off. I then said, “Oh it is alright guys the sandwiches and everything else free. ” Meanwhile my informers were laughing their heads off as I was getting away with this prank. The gang that day had no idea who fed them. So, when I put the mustache on it brought their memory back. They exclaimed, “We knew that was you.” They proceeded to tackle me to the ground. All their parents enjoyed watching their boys laughing and having fun taking me out. They all laughed and cried.

Antonio has been gone four years from home. His cousin Elvis has been gone 2 1/2 years. Elvis said, “I spent last night at home and woke up to the smell of a good breakfast.” I prayed with them as they were getting ready to go home permanently. They all hugged me and thanked me for never giving up on them. As always thank you for your prayers. God gets all the glory and the victory.

Salvador’s Gang Gives Hearts to Jesus Christ

On the morning of March 23, 2024, I met with informers who reported seeing a new gang of 30 boys at one of the parks I frequent. They had prepared four dozen breakfast burritos and three coolers with cold drinks for the gang. After expressing my gratitude, I left for the park and found the gang there. I admired their classic ’55 to ’57 Chevys. There were nine cars in total. I asked God how to approach these boys and what music to play. God said, “Play Kingdom music.” I did so by piping it to my outside speakers. When I arrived, the music drew the eyes of the boys in my direction. I stepped out with my Bible, and they began walking towards me. The leader said, “You must be Sonny. I am Salvador. This is my second-in-command, Sylvester.”  Salvador then held up one of my ministry cards and asked, “Is this your ministry card?” I replied, “Yes, I don’t remember giving you a ministry card.”

He asked, “Do you remember Paco?” I nodded, recalling how Paco and his group had found salvation and returned home. Salvador continued, “Paco gave me this card and told me, ‘If you ever need prayer, call Sonny.'” As we spoke, I thought, “Lord, these young men have built barriers to protect themselves from everyone.” I said, “Paco and his friends have made a wise decision.” Salvador continued, “Paco also told me that you always have food for the gangs, and you tell them about Jesus.” I replied, “Yes I do.” Salvador asked, “Why do you do that?”  I said, “Because you boys are broken. The reason you are out here is because of your dads. Most of your dads were alcoholics and the others on drugs.” Salvador said, “That’s true sonny.” I then asked, “Are you boys hungry?” Salvador said, “We are starving.” I said, “I brought breakfast burritos. ” They replied, “Now you are talking. I said, “I need help with the coolers.” The boys helped me get everything. I said, “Let me pray for the food before we eat.” All the boys bowed their heads. I prayed, “Dear Jesus, thank you for today, thank you for the food and for the hands that prepared it.” Salvador asked, “Who made the burritos?” I replied, “My brothers and sisters.” With amazement he said, “They made these just for us?” I confirmed they did. He said, “Tell them thank you from us.” I confirmed that I would. Some of the boys opened the coolers and said, “You brought Cokes and Dr. Pepper. Those are our favorite.” I exclaimed, “You can’t have a burrito without a Coke or Dr Pepper.” They replied, “Your right Sonny.”

They all began eating and exclaimed, “These burritos are hot, but they are good.” As they continued eating, I began reading scriptures to them. This included John 3:16 and Jeremiah 29:11. Salvador asked, “Why are you reading that?” I replied, “Because you need to know that Jesus came here for you. God send his son to die for our sins but on the third day he rose again.” Salvador replied, “Can’t you talk about something else?” I said, “Tomorrow is never promised.” Salvador injected, “So you read scriptures.” I said, “Yes, I will always read the word of God until my last breath. Jesus died for us, and he forgave those that whipped him and crucified him.”

Salvador said, “So we have to forgive those that hurt us.” I said, “Yes, even my King forgave those that hurt him.”

Salvador said, “Your amazing Sonny.”  I replied, “It is our God who is amazing!” Salvador said, “My cousin Paco told us a lot about you and it’s all true. You’re so kind and generous. I have never had anybody talk to me about Jesus at all. Can you do me a favor and read Jeremiah 29:11 again.” After I finished reading it again, he said, “Those words are powerful.” He paused a moment then said, “I am going to get another burrito.” I said, “Go ahead there’s plenty of them.”  I began walking around praying for them. I wanted these boys to know that God loves them. I then asked Salvador if he had any prayer requests. He said, “Pray for our families. We know they miss us.” Most of the boys said the same thing. When I was done praying for them, I said, “I want you to remember this. If you don’t remember anything else. Don’t forget how much Jesus loves you and he has a purpose for you.”

Sylvester came over with Salvador.  Salvador said, “Paco told me that his name was written in the Lambs Book of Life.  What does that mean, Sonny?” I said, “We die to the world when we surrender to Jesus Christ. When you ask God for forgiveness of all your sins and ask Jesus into your heart, your name will be written in the Lambs Book of Life.”

Salvador said, “Just recently we had called Paco and asked him what happened. You guys just seem different? Paco began witnessing to us and said, ‘You’re not going to see us out in the streets anymore because we got saved.’ We were looking for you mainly because we were hungry, but we also had questions. Are you going to spend the whole day with us?” I replied, “Yes, because there is nothing more important right now than your salvation. That is more important to me than anything else. That’s why my King has me here.” Sylvester looked at Salvador and said, “Are you going to ask him now?” Salvador appeared confused and said, “Asked him what?” Sylvester replied, “When are you going to ask him about the note pads. Remember Paco said the words, ‘Tomorrow is never promised. If we only had 3 days to live, what would you say to your parents and siblings.’” Salvador said, “Oh yeah, and to write down our hurts.”

I said, “Yes, I have note pads and pens for all of you and I want you to ask for forgiveness for what you said and did before you left home. Also write what happened to you and why you left.” I helped those that needed help. They thanked me for helping them. Salvador said, “So this is what you do with the gangs? I replied, “Yes, God chose me for this ministry because I understand you. This makes you feel more comfortable to talk to me.” As they were writing their notes I said, “I’ll be back boys.” Salvador asked, “Where are you going?” I replied, “I am getting something to eat.” When I left, I called my friends. I ordered 14 large pizzas for them to pick up and deliver to me at a different location. I thanked them all for what they do for the ministry and came back with the pizzas. All the boys were excited to get pizza and thanked me for it. I prayed over the meal. As they were eating, I helped those that needed to finish their notes. When they were done writing I said, “Guys can you line up. I want to pray and anoint you with your notes.” All the boys lined up. I prayed for Salvador last because he’s the leader.

When I was done praying for him, Salvador said, “Sonny, you are the kindness man I have ever met. I want to be just like you.” I said, “Let’s be like Jesus.” Salvador said, “You’re the only one that has been allowed to talk to us. We don’t let anyone get this close to us.”

I said, “It was nice spending the day with you boys. You should deliver your notes as soon as possible.” Salvador said, “We will call our parents to make sure they are home. Then well call you and let you know what happens.” Before they left, I said, “I know all of you are going to be scattered delivering your notes; but right now, I want you to stand still and don’t move.”  Salvador said, “You heard Sonny. Don’t move because something bad can happen to us.” I continued, “I need to pray and claim the blood of Jesus Christ over all of you and God’s protection against those who want to steel your soul.” When I was done praying all the boys hugged me and thanked me. God gets all the glory and the victory!!

Victors Gang Gives Hearts to Jesus Christ

On the morning of March 19, 2024, I had a facetime session with my informants who have been in training. They had coolers filled with drinks, donuts, cereal, and milk. They had me watch a video of a new gang to observe their behavior. Lately gangs have been more interested in discussing things going on in their lives solved then in hurting me. Our prayer that God would confuse the gangs to the point where they would hunger for God has been initiated by our King. God is bringing gangs to me all asking questions.

After I picked up the coolers and food from the undercover, I went to visit the new gang at their home. I rang the doorbell, and they asked, “What do you want?” I replied, “I have some food for you boys.” Still unsure, they then began asking questions.

One thing I have learned that the gangs God brings me are always hungry. They were wasting my time, so I said, “If you don’t open the door at the count of three, I’m taking the food to the homeless.” I counted one, two, three, and as I started walking away, they opened the door and asked, “Okay, what did you bring us?” I replied, “I brought you donuts, Captain Crunch cereal, and milk.”

They asked my name, and I replied, “My name is Sonny.” The leader of the 15-member gang is Victor. He asked, “What do you wanted to talk about?” I said, “I want to tell you about Jesus because you’re broken, and I’m here to bring you God’s kingdom.” The leader asked if I was a Christian. I said, “I am a born-again Christian.” He asked, “How can you be born again? Do you have to be inside your mom again?” I said, “Do you know that someone asked Jesus that same question? In the Book of John 3:3, it says when you ask God to forgive all your sins and ask Jesus into your heart, that’s when you’re born again, and your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” One of the boys asked, “Sonny, is hell real?” I said, “Yes, and those who reject Jesus will be swimming in a lake of fire, and it’s not just for the weekend; it’s for eternity. All you see here is temporary, but God’s kingdom is eternal.” I asked if they were hungry, and they said yes. I said I needed help, and four boys helped me bring in the food, and bowls and spoons. I then said, “Let me pray for the meal.” The leader inserted in and said, “I love the donuts with chocolate.” After I finished praying everyone began eating. The boys were hungry; they ate the two dozen donuts and the two boxes of Captain Crunch.”

The leader expressed his gratitude for my kindness. “Most people are afraid of us,” he said, “Why aren’t you?” I offered them my ministry card and shared a verse from Isaiah 41:10, which they all recited. “See, it says ‘Fear not,'”

I then asked Victor, “When was the last time I trusted someone?  Victor admitted, “It had been a long while. Would you trust me?” I’ve never asked a gang leader this before, but I asked, “Would you take a drive with me?” I questioned what they’d like in their fridge and their preference for ‘The Lord’s Chips.’ The boys laughed, finding it amusing. I mentioned I had a box of chips in my truck to bring in later. “So, will you trust me, Victor?” I asked, hoping for a chance to talk. The leader asked if he could be honest with me. I assured him money wasn’t necessary; God is providing. One boy questioned if I was rich. “No,” I replied, “but I am rich in God.” Jose complimented me as one of the nicest men he’s ever met and thanked me for the food. “Okay, Sonny, I’m ready to go,” the leader said, instructing the others to clean the kitchen. I needed three boys to help bring in coolers with cold drinks from my truck. They were surprised by the generosity. Victor and I then drove to Walmart, and on the way, I spoke with Victor while listening to Bryann’s Christian music. Victor mentioned Bryann was in town, and they had heard his music.

We drove by his concert; he was a former gang member who had found salvation. “Were you the one outside talking to a group of boys?” he asked. “Yes,” I confirmed, “gangs listen to him, so I witness to them and pray with them.” He recognized my shirt and realized where he had seen me. I witnessed to them and prayed with them. He said, “I saw your shirt! Now I know where I saw the shirt you’re wearing today. That was you there.” I said, “Yes, that was me.” I then asked Victor, “If you only had three days to live, what would you say to your dad, mom, and brothers and sisters?” I told him I have notepads so his gang can write a note to their families. Victor began to ponder what I said.

We arrived at Walmart and retrieved a cart. Victor looked scared, constantly looking behind him. I reassured him, “You don’t have to be nervous because I carry the Kingdom of God with me.” He looked at me and said, “I have never heard anyone talk like you.” I said, “I’ll push the cart, and you get what you want.” So he started picking out things for sandwiches and I suggested getting dessert. He said we could go to the dollar store for that because it’s too much here. He kept thanking me saying, “Sonny, I really didn’t know what we were going to do because we didn’t have any money for food.” I said, “God knew you were hungry, that’s why He brought me to you boys.” I directed them to the desserts, “Get what you boys like.” He chose little things of pudding, Double Stuff Oreo cookies, and asked if he could get some Cap’n Crunch cereal and milk. I agreed. Victor was crying but didn’t want me to see him wiping his tears. I said, “Let’s get things to make tacos.” He exclaimed, “Really, Sonny? We have been so hungry for tacos.” I said, “You get peppers and everything for the tacos, and I’ll go get some bowls and a container of spoons, forks, and knives.” When I came back, Victor said, “Thank you, Sonny, we have way too much food.” I said, “God provides,” and we went to get in line. Victor noticed a little old couple following us and getting in line behind us. The little old man asked, “Are you boys in a boys club or something, spending all your money on food?” I said yes. He told his wife, “Mama, let’s help these boys. We’ll pay for your groceries.” Just tell the cashier.”

The cashier exclaimed, “I heard that! That is so kind of you; God bless you!” I replied, “Yes, God bless you and thank you.” I mentioned that Victor started crying. The couple hugged him, and he thanked them. They said, “We want to pray for you boys.” We walked outside, and they prayed for us. I thanked them and prayed for them. I then gave them my ministry card. On our way home, Victor kept wiping his face, saying, “That was the kindest thing they did for us.” When we got back, the boys helped bring in the groceries. Victor was telling them everything that happened, saying, “We’re making tacos.” All the boys were so excited. He asked me, “Sonny, why do you do this ministry?” I replied, “Because I was broken like you boys, and my King healed my heart. I asked Him for a ministry nobody wanted, and He said, ‘Then follow me. This is the ministry God gave me.'” Victor said, “Thank you for coming and telling us about Jesus.” I said, “You got to see the power of God, Victor.” He replied, “I got to witness my first miracle.” He started crying, and I had the godliest man witness it with me. He told the boys, “My heart hasn’t felt like this in a long time.” I asked Victor, “How would you like to write notes to your parents?” The boys were surprised. I asked them, “If you only had three days to live, what would you say to your dad, mom, brothers, and sisters?” They were taken aback and started asking for notepads I had for them. They said, “We’ll write our notes tonight and deliver them tomorrow.” They asked me to come to the park tomorrow at 1:00 PM.

3/20/24
I went to the park and anointed the area before Victor’s gang and all their families arrived. Victor’s gang arrived at 1:00 PM with all their families. All the boys reported that everything went well when they delivered their notes. All the dads have stopped drinking and are now saved. Victor announced, “We’re all here with our families, and we’re ready to surrender and give our hearts to Jesus.” Before I could say anything, all the boys came forward with their families standing behind them. I asked, “Do all of you believe Jesus is the Son of God?” They said yes. “Do you believe Jesus died and rose again on the third day?” They affirmed. “Do you believe Jesus Christ loves you?” Again, they said yes. I led them to pray, “Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to forgive me of all my sins and I ask Jesus to come into my heart.” They all began crying and hugging each other. I gave them Bibles, which we all signed and dated.

Victor’s dad gathered all the fathers and declared, “This is a day of celebration. Let’s have a barbecue and celebrate because our sons are coming home.” They assured me, “Sonny, we’ll be back for the barbecue.”

I started all the grills and cleaned them so they would be hot. The parents had trays to put on the grill, so they wouldn’t have to worry about the grill not being clean. The dads were right, it did not take them long at all. There was a lot of good food. I read scriptures to everyone as they ate. I answered many questions and prayed with them. all.  their family members were saved. We stayed there until dark, and Victor’s dad, Salvador asked, “Can you come to our home and anoint it?” I agreed and immediately went there to anoint their home. God receives all the glory and the victory.

Michael’s Gang Commits to Jesus Christ

3/18/2024

Monday morning, the undercover police called me for a FaceTime chat about Michael’s gang. They mentioned seeing him with the 12 boys at the park. I informed them that all their parents had called. They were worried because their boys had left. The boys had run away due to their parents’ strictness. The undercover police asked me to see what they could do to help the boys.

Before I reached the park, Michael called me to say that all the parents wanted to meet me and that they had given them my ministry card. It was interesting that the boys didn’t spend the night with their parents last night; instead, they stayed with their grandparents. They asked me to meet the gang and their parents at the park at 11:00 AM, and I agreed.

I them that the parents had called me on the speakerphone, saying they would give me time to pray with you guys. I arrived early at the park because my King wanted me to anoint the park before anyone arrived.

11:00 AM came quickly and as the boys arrived first, they were both crying and excited to be going home. Jerome expressed his gratitude, mentioning a scary encounter with some gang members who had asked if they were runaways. The boys were relieved when I was already there. They were eager for me to meet their parents, who were due any minute. Sonny humorously noted that the boys looked like ‘little rascals,’ which made them laugh, as they had anticipated the nickname.

The boys shared that they had a good talk with their parents, who had arranged counseling with their pastor. As the parents started arriving, they started walking towards the boys and then began running to embrace them. I gave them some time alone. Afterwards, I had the opportunity to meet all their parents.

I asked the boys to line up, which they did promptly, and I posed a significant question about their spiritual commitment.  I asked, “Do you want your names in the Lamb’s Book of Life?”, and they agreed. They believed Jesus is the Son of God, that He died and rose on the third day, and affirmed they wanted to be born-again Christians.

Turning to their parents, I asked, “Would commit to raising their sons as Christians and teaching them God’s Word?” All the parents agreed.

I led the boys in prayer to accept Jesus into their hearts, and they wept. I assured them their names were now in the Lamb’s Book of Life and encouraged them to make disciples wherever God lead them.

Afterward, the boys began playing basketball in the park. I turned to their parents and said, “I emphasized the need for a change in how you treat your sons now that you have rededicated your lives to Jesus Christ”. The parents replied that they had arranged counseling with their pastors and expressed the same concerns for their sons.

When the boys stopped playing basketball, they introduced me to the other things I do with their parents. They explained that I minister to gangs everywhere, prostitutes, the homeless and financial support for families in the ghetto. The parents were astonished. I further explained that I minister to those just on the streets. They were curious how I met their sons.

I said, “I remembered that your sons liked to play baseball. God told me to buy a basketball before I came to the park, so when I saw the boys playing, I knew the basketball was for them.” They replied, “We praise God you came and found our boys.”

I said, “It was God who told me to come here.” They replied, “It was a miracle.”

I said, “It was a miracle. They were about to meet bad gangs. If they had gone to the park a few blocks from here, they would have run into them.” One of the dads said, “Sonny, my whole life flashed before my eyes when my boy ran away from home. All our families were so scared. We have all been praying.”

I said, “There is power in prayer, and God heard your prayers. Thank you for your prayers; God gets all the glory and the victory!”

Could you just imagine waking up in the morning and you are in your own bed, and the peace the parent felt with their sons at home. It could only be amazing.

Robert, Hector and the James Gang Meet Jesus

3/10/24

I went to the park on Sunday to meet up with more gang members. When I arrived, there were three gangs hanging out.

The three gangs there were Robert with 11 boys, Hector with 14 boys, and James with 9 boys. All three saw me and they started walking towards me. Robert asked, “Sonny, how are you?” I replied, “Great! How are you boys doing?” He replied, “Great!” Not having much to say.

One of the other gang leaders asked, “Sonny, do you have anything to eat?” I said, “Yes, I do. I have pizza, a big box of the Lord’s chips, and coolers with drinks.”

I suggested, “Let me pray for the meal.” After praying, they started eating. I then began reading scriptures: John 3:16, Isaiah 41:10, and Jeremiah 29:11 to them.

Hector said, “Sonny, you didn’t read John 14:6,” and he tried to quote it. He said, “You can’t get to the Father unless you come through Jesus.”

I replied, “You’re right. That was good, Hector.”

I asked, “Have any of you delivered your notes?”

They replied, “No, not yet. Some of us haven’t finished our notes. But we will, Sonny, and we’ll deliver them. We’ll let you know what happens.”

They said they had to get going and thanked me for the food, snacks, and drinks. I offered, “Let me pray and anoint you boys before you leave.” After doing so, they thanked me and left. I knew that they were about to discover the amazing things that God has done in their home after giving the notes to their parents. After this God sent me to minister to people on the streets.

On the morning of March 17th, 2024, an extraordinary gathering was about to unfold at the park. Gabriel’s gang had convened early in the morning, their faces brimming with hope and anticipation. They shared with me their recent endeavor of delivering the notes to their families. had been met with warmth and acceptance. Gabriel, asked if I could join them in prayer, hoping for a positive outcome to their heartfelt declarations.

They revealed to me their deepest wish is to dedicate their hearts to Jesus Christ before returning home. Their parents said, “We are all set to meet with Sonny at the park after our workday concluded, sometime after 5:00 PM.” I assured them I would be there, waiting.

As I prayed with them and they departed, the atmosphere was charged with a palpable sense of unity and purpose by the Holy Spirit. Soon after the amazing things that happened with Gabriel’s gang, Robert’s and Hector’s gang both arrived—11 and 14 boys respectively—each accompanied by their families. The air was thick with emotion as the parents began to arrive. Robert shared a touching update, “Sonny, my father is sober today. He sought help shortly after my departure.” Echoing this sentiment, all the boys shared similar stories of their fathers’ cessation of drinking and newfound faith in Jesus Christ.

The park became a sanctuary of reconciliation and healing as parents read the notes from their sons. Tears were shed, forgiveness sought, and bonds mended. The fathers expressed a profound realization—it was they who needed to seek forgiveness.

After our heartfelt discussions, I invited those who wished to have their names inscribed in the Lamb’s Book of Life to step forward. But before we could proceed, James’ gang—9 boys strong—approached us with their families in tow. James spoke up, his voice steady with conviction: “Sonny, we want to give our hearts to Jesus Christ. We visited church with our parents, and we decided to seek you out at the park for this very purpose.”

James introduced Sonny to their parents, I announced that these boys were on the cusp of prayer. Once again, I called forth those eager for their names to be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. All three gangs stepped forward together.

“Do you believe Jesus rose again on the third day?” I asked.

A resounding “Yes” filled the air.

I asked, “Do you believe Jesus is your Lord and Savior?”

They responded affirmatively.

I instructed them to repeat after me, “Heavenly Father, forgive me of all my sins. Lord Jesus, I invite you into my heart.”

As we proceeded, all the parents and boys were moved to tears.

I presented them with Bibles, which were all signed and dated. Subsequently, James inquired if they could read their notes aloud to everyone. I agreed that they should. James and his friends read the heartfelt messages they had prepared for their parents and siblings, which led to a lot of emotional moments. After finishing, James requested me to read the scriptures he used to share with them.

Agreeing, I recited John 3:16. Upon completion, Felipe asked if he could share his favorite Bible verse that he had memorized. I consented, and Felipe recited Isaiah 41:10, mentioning that this verse was on the ministry card Sonny had given to us. His parents were deeply touched as he quoted the verse.

Then I read Jeremiah 29:11 and John 14:6. All the boys were crying, and I was moved to tears myself because these boys had been living on the streets for a long time—four years.

We are grateful for your prayers. All glory and victory belong to God! God just removed four gangs of the street today. WOW!!

Hildalgo Gang Gives Their Hearts to Jesus Christ

Today is March 8, 2024, and it looks like the weather will be chilly all day. Early in the morning I went to Denver to meet with the undercover police. They gave me four dozen donuts, Captain Crunch cereal, and milk. They also had coolers filled with drinks. I thanked them and prayed with them before I left to meet another gang. God told me to visit the Hildalgo gang first. Because of the damp weather I went to visit the gang at their home. He has 15 boys in his gang. When I arrived at their house, It was as though they were expecting me. They opened the door waving me in and said, “Sonny, come in out of the cold.”

I asked, “How are you guys doing?”

Hildalgo said, “We have been laying low because we went to the cartel and told them that were not selling their drugs anymore. Then we just walked away I told the boys to pray because we need a miracle.” There was a slight pause then Hildalgo finished with, “Sonny we don’t have anything to eat.”

I asked, “How long ago did you pray?”

Hildalgo said, “It’s been 15 minutes.” Hildalgo then rephrased his earlier question and asked, “Sonny, do you have anything to eat?”

I said, “Yes I do. I need help getting the coolers.”

Some of the boys jumped at the opportunity to help bring in the coolers. I had everything I needed for making sandwiches and a box of chips to go with the sandwiches. Hildalgo said, “Sonny, I had never asked the boys to pray until now and look at what God did.”

I said, “God brought me here because you boys were hungry. Now I am going pray for the meal that God provided.”

When I was done Hildalgo thanked me for the food

Hildalgo gave me a report and said, “Some of the x gang members have been calling us and telling us you won’t see us out in the streets anymore. We gave our hearts to Jesus Christ and were now home with our families. They shared that you gave them note pads and they wrote notes to their dads asking for forgiveness. We didn’t have note pads, but we took it upon ourselves to go talk to our dads. We went straight to our parents. I told my dad I wanted to ask for his forgiveness for what I said to him the day I left. My dad cried and he said that he should be the one to be asking for forgiveness. My dad hugged me and cried. That was the first time I didn’t smell alcohol in his breath. You told us that we had to ask for forgiveness if we wanted to be forgiven.”

I confirmed, “That’s right.”

Hildalgo said, “All of us found out all our dads have stopped drinking, and all our families are saved. We are making plans to see what day we can get together with our parents. They wanted us to come home, but we told them our hearts were not ready. We need to have our hearts transformed before we go home. We are going to plan a day to meet with all their parents.”

I prayed and anointed them and told them God is faithful. After I was done praying with them, they asked, “Sonny, can you give us bibles.”

One man whose name is Jeremiah asked, “Sonny is it possible to give our hearts to Jesus Christ right now and then do it again in front of our parents?”

I said, “Yes!” All the boys took their caps off and wanted to give their hearts to Jesus.

I said, “God wants you to give your hearts to Jesus now because tomorrow is never promised not even for me.”

They asked God to forgive them of all their sins and then asked Jesus to come into their heart. They all began crying. I went to get their bibles. I signed each bible, and each one signed their own bible. I didn’t date them until they got saved in front of their parents.

Before Hildalgo left he asked, “Sonny, do you have some more of those notepads? The boys and I want to write more notes to our families.” I gave him what I had with me.

3/9/24

Hildalgo called me Saturday morning and asked, “Are you ready to meet our families?”

I said, “Yes, what time do you want to meet?”

Hildalgo said, “Around 11:30 am will work the best for me. Is that a good time for you Sonny?”

I replied, “Yes, I can make that work. How did everything go when you delivered your notes?

Hildalgo said, “Everything went well. I told my dad I had a note for him, and I read my note to my dad. My dad started crying and told me that he is the one that should be asking for forgiveness, and he said, ‘Son, forgive me for the things I said and did to you.’ My dad hugged me a just cried. We forgave each other.”

Hildalgo said, “All of us were invited to have dinner with our families. All our parents want us to come home. We told them what our plan was to give our hearts to Jesus Christ first. We told them about you Sonny and how you minister to gangs. They want to meet you to.”

I said, “Are you guys coming to the park because I have pizza and drinks for you.”

Hildalgo said, “No Sonny, save that for the other gang you are going to see today. Our parents have fed us good. We will see you later Sonny.”

I was at the park waiting for them. It wasn’t long before I saw the boys coming. When they pulled up, they looked excited. Then all their parents started arriving. The boys said, “All of their parents helped them clean the house and moved them out. The landlord gave them their deposit back.” The boys began introducing their parents to me.

The parents began to describe the most beautiful notes they received from their sons. They said, “They all asked for forgiveness and that they love us.”

Hildalgo’s dad said, “Sonny, my son asked me to read a note he wrote for me. He started reading the most beautiful note to me. It really brought peace to my heart.”

All the other parents confirmed that their boys read their note to them also.

They said, “Sonny that was such a good idea. thank you for telling them to write us a note. Their notes really blessed us. Their notes to their brother and sisters were beautiful also. Their notes really blessed the entire family.”

I said, “My King gets all the Glory and the Victory because he’s the one that told me to have them write notes.”

Hildalgo said, “Sonny can you read the same scriptures you read to all of us like John 3:16, Jeremiah 29:11 and Mathew 6:33.”

I said, “I can do that. Can everyone gather around me.”

they moved closer to me, and I said, “These are the scriptures God tells me to read to the gang members. I read John 3:16, this is where it all started. Then I read Jeremiah 29:11 because God has a plan for their lives. Then I read Matthew 6:33. I want them to know that when they seek first the kingdom of God, they are seeking his heart “

When I finished reading the scriptures, I asked, “Those of you that want your names written in the Lambs Book of Life come forward. All 19 boys came forward with all their families standing behind them. I asked, “Do all of you believe Jesus Christ is the son of God?”

They replied, “Yes we do.”

I said, “Do all of you believe that Jesus rose again on the third day.”

They replied, “Yes we do.”

I then said, “repeat after me ‘Dear heavenly Father, forgive me of all my sins. Jesus, come into my heart. Give me a ministry so I can serve you the for the rest of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

They all started to cry. All the family members were also crying and hugging their boys.

Hildalgo said, “Sonny has bibles for us and has signed them. We signed our bibles but now we must put the date on the bibles.”  All the boys picked up their bibles to have them dated. I spent over 4 hours with them and their families. Over

72 family members were there, and they had a lot of questions about God’s ministry that he called me for.

Thank you for your prayers. God gets all the Glory and the Victory!!

Jonathan’s Gang Gives Their Lives Over to Jesus Christ

On the afternoon of March 5th, a gang pulled up at the park while I was waiting. The leader of the gang is called Johnny. There are eleven boys in his gang. I did not know them, so I decided to introduce myself to them. I have learned to recognize the leaders and I sked, “What is your name?”

He replied, “Everyone calls me Johnny Depp because I look like him.”

I said, “You really do look like him.” I looked at the rest of them and said, “Well, the rest of you guys look like the little rascals to me, so I am calling you the little rascals.”

His men replied, “That is not even funny?”

I looked at the leader and asked, “What is your real Christian name?”

This caught everybody off guard, and they were dumbfounded. The leader had a puzzled looked and said, “How did you know that I have a Christian name?”

I replied, “I know what your Christian name is.”

He retorted back, “So what is my Christian name?”

I replied, “Paul!”

He said, “How did you know that?”

I replied, “That is what my King said. But your first name is Matthew, and your middle name is Paul. You told your parents before you left that you hated your first name and that you would never go by that name again. So, you go by your middle name Jonathan.”

Jonathan exclaimed, “How do you know all that?”

I replied, “My King sent me here to talk to you.”

Jonathan then asked, “Who are you?”

I replied, “I am just a messenger to remind you that your name was written in the Lambs Book of Life. Why did you walk away from God?”

Jonathan then said, “I use to go to church where I received Jesus in my heart, but my dad was an alcoholic and abused me.”

Jonathan replied, “You are right that I was a Christian. I was 16 years old when I left home.”

I said, “You have made bad choices in your life.”

Jonathan replied, “My messenger, will you tell me what to do? I want to keep my name written in the Lambs Book of Life?”

I asked, “Are you ready to rededicate your heart to the lord?”

Jonathan said, “Yes!”

I then said, “You have to forgive your dad first before we continue.”

I looked at Jonathan ’s men and asked, “Is anybody hungry? I have 3 pizzas and a cooler with cold drinks.”

The boys were eager to get something to eat and helped me bring the food to the picknick tables. I said, “Let me pray for the meal.” As soon as I was done praying, they began eating. I began anointing the notepads that I was about to give them.

I looked over his men and asked, “Who wants to write notes to your parents and siblings?” All the boys raised their hands. I then asked, “If you guys had only 3 days to live what would you say to your parents and siblings?”

Jonathan stared at his pad for a moment and asked, “Sonny, can you help me write my note to my dad?”

I said, “Yes, I can help write it. Just tell me what you want to say.”

Jonathan began by saying,” Father, please forgive me for the things I have said to you when I ran out of the house. I hope that you can forgive me. I miss those days of going fishing with you. Your son Jonathan.”

All the boys finished writing their notes. They said, “Sonny, we’re going to deliver our notes now.” I prayed with them before they left. The leader called me tonight. He was sobbing, “My dad has been sober for 4 years. He stopped drinking when I left home. He also got saved while I was away.”

I said, “How are you doing? Are you ok?”

He said, “My dad stopped drinking after he got help. He has given his life to Jesus Christ. He is a real Christian now. Before I left my dad would act like a Christian in name only, but he wasn’t real. When I gave him my note my dad cried. He asked me, ‘Are you coming home son?’ My dad held me in his arms and we both cried for a long time. I told him I did not want to come home until I gave my heart to Jesus Christ. I want God to give me a new heart.”

I reached over and hugged Jonathan. Before his men left, I asked them, “Those of you that want your names written in the Lambs Book of Life to come forward.” They all came to give their lives to Jesus Christ. I then said, “Tell your parents I want to meet them.” They confirmed they would be there tomorrow.

I could tell the leader had something going on that was bothering him. Soon, he began to share it with me. He said, “Sonny, I have a request. I know you were sent here to talk to us about Jesus, but can you come with me to pray for my grandpa at the hospital?”

I replied, “Yes I can. I will even take you to the hospital.”

He said, “Thank you Sonny! My grandpa just had surgery and he’s really sick.”

Before we left, I made arrangements with his men to start eating the food that I had in my pickup. I said, “Ok, before Jonathan and I leave, I have pizza and the coolers with cold drinks. I need help getting them out of my pickup and set them on the picknick tables.”

One of the boys asked, “Sonny, do you happen to have Captain Crunch cereal?”

I replied, “Yes I do. The bowls, spoons, and the milk are in one of the coolers.”

I said, “You guys can start eating and we’ll be back later.”

They replied, “Ok, we’ll wait here for you to return.”

I said, “Ok Jonathan, let’s go to the hospital.” When we arrived at the hospital and started walking in, the security guard asked, “How can I help you?”

Jonathan replied, “We’re here to see my grandpa and my friend is going to pray for him.”

The security guard answered, “Ok, I’ll walk you there, but you can’t stay long.”

Jonathan and I walked into his grandpas the room. Jonathan’s parents and his grandma were already in the room. His parents jumped up and hugged him.

His grandpa Isaiah said, “hi Jonathan. How are you doing.”

Jonathan answered, “Hi grandpa” while he reached down to hug him. He then introduced me. He said, “Grandpa, this is Sonny. He is a minister of the streets and I have asked him to come and pray for you.”

I immediately began praying for him and anointed him with oil. When I finished praying, his grandpa thanked me. Jonathan’s dad was called Abraham. His grandpa looked directly at his son and said, “Abraham, this is the time to ask for forgiveness from your son.”

Abraham replied, “Your right dad!” He went over to Jonathan and said, “I want to ask for your forgiveness for everything I said and did to you that was wrong. I stopped drinking after you left. I have been sober for more than three years now” His mom and grandma piped in and said, “That is true, he doesn’t drink anymore.”

Boy you could feel the release in the atmosphere with what was about to happen. Jonathan answered, “Please forgive me dad for the things I said to you before I left.” They both began crying and hugged each other. His grandpa took a deep breath and it scared everyone.

I said, “Don’t be afraid he’s just resting. He finally has peace from what happened today as he fell asleep.”

his grandmother answered, “How did you meet my grandson?”

I said, “I met him at the park. God had me bring frisbees that I put two Bible verses on them. John 3:16 and Jeremiah 29:11. Jonathan and his boys were there at the park, and I started throwing frisbees at them.”

As I finished my thought, a doctor came in with two nurses. They said, “It’s time to leave now. He really needs his rest.” So, we all walked back out into the waiting room. Jonathan ’s dad said, “Son, would you like to take a walk?”

Jonathan said, “Yes dad, let’s take a walk.”

I was left standing with his mom and grandma. I said, “Before you ask me anything, my King gets all the glory and the victory. I just get to see what he does.”

They continued to ask me questions until Jonathan and his dad came back. Jonathan said, “We’re going back to the park because the boys are waiting for us.”

His mom replied, “Can you and the boys come over to the house later? Grandpa is coming home tomorrow, and he wants to have a barbecue. It’s at 4:30 pm.”

Jonathan said, “Yes mom, we will be there.” They hugged Jonathan said, “We’ll see you tomorrow.” As they continued saying their goodbyes, we began walking back to the truck. Jonathan still had tears running down his face as we drove off. He sat there silently. I asked, “Are you OK?”

Jonathan replied, “This was one of the best memories of my life. No one can take this away from me.”

I answered, “I am so proud of you for the way you handled things. You forgave your dad and asked for forgiveness.”

He replied, “Thank you sonny for being there for me.”

We finally arrived back at the park and the boys asked, “So, how is your grandpa?” Jonathan answered, “He’s doing great and is resting now.”

I said, “You guys keep the coolers and the box of the chips to take to the barbecue.” The boys exclaimed, “What! We’re going to a barbecue?”

Jonathan replied, “Yes, at my parents’ house tomorrow. My grandpa wants to have a barbecue because he’s going home tomorrow.”

The Holy Spirit continued to move the rest of the day until Jonathan and all of his men all gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. This ends a chapter in Jonathan’s life. Jonathan understands what it is to have Jesus in your heart. In the next chapter of his life Jonathan is looking for a way to bring Christ into the lives of unsaved uncles and family members.
