This prevents oneself from overspending, duplicating and seeing if merchandise is being stolen. This is a good thing to do when doing earthly things. Now on the spiritual side, keeping track of everything can be dangerous. Paul does not want us to ignore what is going on around us, but if we truly love people he said this: 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NLT Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. When you do spiritual accounting and inventory try not to be so precise and keep track of everything that people do to you. If we truly love someone we won't want to write everything down. Jesus is a master at forgetting to write stuff down. When he forgives us he loses that data. Shouldn't we do the same thing Jesus does when people ask for forgiveness. Even if they don't, holding on to that wrong will make you bitter. So just let it go. Last time I heard is that we serve a God of justice. Let him take care of it. LET LOVE LIVE!!!!!!! 1 Corinthians 13:6-7 NLT 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 01/26/2026 As the world tries to crush humble people, our God exalts them: James 4:10 NLT Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. Matthew 5:5 NLT God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth. Matthew 18:4 NLT So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven During this part of my life, I notice that God is taking down those who think they are better then everyone else: Matthew 23:12 NLT But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. Luke 1:52 He has brought down princes from their thrones and exalted the humble. Luke 18:14 I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” You can still be manly and be humble. Your wife will tell you it is possible. God smiles when you do it too. 11/17/2025 A mistake many Christian make is assuming because they are going through so much bad stuff is because they did something to make God angry. Why else are my problems so much worse then the average person? Do you remember Job? Job 1:1, 8-12 NLT 1 There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. 8 Then the Lord asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.” 9 Satan replied to the Lord, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God. 10 You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is! 11 But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!” 12 “All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence. Job lost his wealth, health, family and friends but Satan lost the bet. In the end, Job was better off than ever in all these areas. How often does Satan ask God to test those who love him? Jesus's disciples were on this list just like Job: Luke 22:31-32 NLT Predicts Peter's Denial 31 "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. 32 But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers." You may never know but what you are going through today may be from a challenge from the enemy that your relationship with God is not real. This is actually an honor to you that God believes in you to win the bet. God never loses at anything, so he is confident when he makes the challenge. Even if this may not be the case, Jesus said this: John 16:33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” Again, Jesus is declared the winner!!!!!!! One final though; one can never can compare one's problems to another person's problems. Only God knows the entire story of each one of us. Just give it to Jesus so he can set you free! Pray so victory can be decisive! 11/14/2025 As a Christian, have you ever been told that you need to be street smart like your worldly counterparts. Even Jesus brought this up. A man swindled his boss and was about to be fired. Being old, he thought about a way to get the bills down on the bosses clients that owed him money so they would do great favors for him: Luke 16:8-9 NLT 8 “The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light. 9 Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home. The Message also describes what Jesus said: Luke 16:8-9 The Message 8-9 “Now here’s a surprise: The master praised the crooked manager! And why? Because he knew how to look after himself. Streetwise people are smarter in this regard than law-abiding citizens. They are on constant alert, looking for angles, surviving by their wits. I want you to be smart in the same way—but for what is right—using every adversity to stimulate you to creative survival, to concentrate your attention on the bare essentials, so you’ll live, really live, and not complacently just get by on good behavior.” Jesus was street smart. He won the argument about paying taxes to Caesar and used John the Baptist by asking the Pharisees if he was doing his job by human standards or was sent by God. His answer to these questions dumbfounded his critics. Luke 20:20-25 NLT Taxes for Caesar 20 Watching for their opportunity, the leaders sent spies pretending to be honest men. They tried to get Jesus to say something that could be reported to the Roman governor so he would arrest Jesus. 21 “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you speak and teach what is right and are not influenced by what others think. You teach the way of God truthfully. 22 Now tell us—is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?” 23 He saw through their trickery and said, 24 “Show me a Roman coin. Whose picture and title are stamped on it?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. 25 “Well then,” he said, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.” AND Luke 20:1-8 The Authority of Jesus Challenged 20 One day as Jesus was teaching the people and preaching the Good News in the Temple, the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the elders came up to him. 2 They demanded, “By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?” 3 “Let me ask you a question first,” he replied. 4 “Did John’s authority to baptize come from heaven, or was it merely human?” 5 They talked it over among themselves. “If we say it was from heaven, he will ask why we didn’t believe John. 6 But if we say it was merely human, the people will stone us because they are convinced John was a prophet.” 7 So they finally replied that they didn’t know. 8 And Jesus responded, “Then I won’t tell you by what authority I do these things.” After Jesus talked about us becoming street smart, he immediately followed up with this comment: Luke 16:10-12 NLT 10 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. 11 And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? 12 And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own? He definitely wants us to use all the resources we have access to including the worldly ones. It all can be used by us to talk about and win hearts over to Jesus. Just don't scheme to do evil like the accountant who was busted. Lastly, always be responsible with everything you are entrusted with. Jesus - "King over finances!" 10/23/2025 As long as I have been living I have never heard much said about the Pilate story. The first part talks about Barabbas (evil) being good and Jesus (good) being evil. Things are sure mixed up here: Matthew 27:17-19 NLT 17 As the crowds gathered before Pilate’s house that morning, he asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you—Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” 18 (He knew very well that the religious leaders had arrested Jesus out of envy.) {Now how would Pilate know if the religious leaders were jealous of Jesus unless Pilate has been watching Jesus around those people for a while. See, this is why we need to live like Christ because people like Pilate are watching us all the time.} 19 Just then, as Pilate was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him this message: “Leave that innocent man alone. I suffered through a terrible nightmare about him last night.” {What did Pilates wife see? She called him "innocent". What ever she saw, it reveled who Jesus was. Since she was terrified, did she in her dream see how they were going to disfigure his body. This was hideous what they were about to do to Jesus's body. Or did she see the awesome power of God with Jesus in her dream. All I know is she had to get a message to her husband to stay away from Jesus. The next question is what impact did the message have on Pilates decision. He knew that it was wrong but was too much of a coward to stop it.} Matthew 27:24-25 NLT 24 Pilate saw that he wasn’t getting anywhere and that a riot was developing. So he sent for a bowl of water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this man’s blood. The responsibility is yours!” 25 And all the people yelled back, “We will take responsibility for his death—we and our children!” His wife's message scared him enough that he washed his hands from the crucifixion but when he had Jesus whipped he negated that by shedding his blood there. That last verse 25 is definitely a mockery to the King of kings. Those people were like a wolf stalking its prey. Only one thing on their mind was to kill. Not any compassion to be found anywhere. The rest of Matthew 27 shows us how hard the religious leaders hearts are: Matthew 27:54 NLT 54 The Roman officer and the other soldiers at the crucifixion were terrified by the earthquake and all that had happened. They said, “This man truly was the Son of God!” The religious leaders and the ungodly Roman soldiers both saw Jesus release his spirit and what happened afterwards. The soldiers figured it out but the religious leaders had so much hatred in their hearts that they were oblivious to what happened. 1 John 3:15 Anyone who hates another brother or sister is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don’t have eternal life within them. 05/27/2025 As I grow older I began to learn what is important. I may not be as enthused as Paul was but I am getting there more each day: Acts 20:24 NLT But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. Since Jesus is Lord, our attitude should reflect what Paul was talking about. 05/20/2025 Are you like me where the people around you seem to do all kinds of dumb stuff? I also know that I have been in the presence of people who are amazing like President Trump and Elon Musk. This is what God wants from us when dealing with his people: Romans 15:5-6 NLT May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even more than ourselves giving glory to God, it is more important that we can do it with others. It can be work but he loves harmony even with those who do not get it. He also loves it when we praise God in one voice. We need to do it because "Jesus is Lord" 05/04/2025 As Christians we are exposed to the word faith a lot. In fact, the level of our faith and how we seek after him is what pleases God: Hebrews 11:6 NLT And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Most people stop here but there is so much more to be said about extreme faith. Those people who have it are like this: Hebrews 11:35-38 NLT But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection. 36 Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons. 37 Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated. 38 They were too good for this world, wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground. I always wonder how I would respond if I was held captive because of Jesus Christ and I could see the saw that was about to cut me in half, would my flesh cave in this situation? I firmly believe we all need the power of the Holy Spirit along with strong faith to overcome this scenario. I am thankful that I have not been tested like many who have given their lives for Jesus Christ. The world will never be able to offer what only Jesus Christ can give. I am also thankful that "Jesus is Lord". 10/29/2024 A black woman had a dream from God. God revealed to her that President Trump is not a great orator and does have sin in his life. He then told her, "I have seen his heart, and I see he wants righteousness for my nation of America. That is the reason that I have chosen him for what I am about to do." But many pastors and Christians are like this: Luke 18:9-15 NLT Parable of the Christian and President Trump 9 Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: 10 “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Christian, and the other was a despised president. 11 The Christian stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that president! 12 I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’ 13 “But President stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ 14 I tell you, this sinner, not the Christian, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” I know that I substituted Christian for Pharisee and President Trump for tax collector, but the verse is still true. I have always liked President Trump even if he has sin in his life. I totally understand him because I too have sin in my life but because of Jesus Christ who forgives sin has forgotten our past sins and is interested what we are doing now. Even though we both are trying to live more like Christ we will never get there 100% because it is written: Romans 3:23 NLT For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. This means our past; present and future life is going to contain sin or the consequences of sin. So, you sinner, get off the sins of Donald Trump and vote and support a man who wants righteousness for this nation. God sent his son to save the individual from hell and Donald Trump to save a nation. God definitely picked the right man for this job. Donald Trump 2024 10/24/2024 America is paying a price for being disobedient to God. Deuteronomy explains what happens when a nation quits obeying God: Deuteronomy 28:15-24 NLT Curses for Disobedience 15 “But if you refuse to listen to the Lord your God and do not obey all the commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overwhelm you: 16 Your towns and your fields will be cursed. {You see it in the Blue cities today} 17 Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be cursed. {Just had recalls on bad onions and beef.} 18 Your children and your crops will be cursed. {Kids don't know their gender today} The offspring of your herds and flocks will be cursed. {Check out the bird flu } 19 Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be cursed. {Definitely see it in California, but it is spreading} 20 “The Lord himself will send on you curses, confusion, and frustration in everything you do, until at last you are completely destroyed for doing evil and abandoning me. {Confusion and frustation is everywhere. Road rage is a good example} 21 The Lord will afflict you with diseases until none of you are left in the land you are about to enter and occupy. {Have not forgot about the scamdemic. They sure tried to kill us.} 22 The Lord will strike you with wasting diseases, fever, and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, and with blight and mildew. These disasters will pursue you until you die. {There are lots of sick people today and I personally faced the scorching heat and drought on the land.} 23 The skies above will be as unyielding as bronze, and the earth beneath will be as hard as iron. {Some say this means that our prayers just bounce back.} 24 The Lord will change the rain that falls on your land into powder, and dust will pour down from the sky until you are destroyed. {Witnessed this one too. I was not destroyed by the dust though. It is almost like they are talking about chemtrails. Those definitely create dust from the sky.} These things all happen to Israel when they disobeyed God. We are feeling the beginning of Deuteronomy 28:15 in our nation today. We deserve everything that is happening, but God has other plans for America. His son wants to use America to bring the word to the entire world before he returns which is soon. But when Israel came back to God, he turned all these bad things off and blessed the nation again. Lucky for us, God decided to do the same for us. We did not deserve it. We have to fall in behind the will of God. Since God is giving mercy to America, we need to pay attention to how we are living for our King. Mercy is not a get out of jail card free. Hebrews talks about those who abuse mercy: Hebrews 10:26-27 NLT 26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. 27 There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. The harvest is great, and we need to be in our top form when we preach the gospel to the world. After all, everyone is watching us. We need to show people the life that our King showed us when he was on the Earth. Our King came so that no man would parish. If we truly loved people, we would want to go after them like our King did when he was on earth. I know this irritates a lot of people but "JESUS CHRIST IS LORD and is also the KING OF KINGS." 10/10/2024 Anton lavay, the man who wrote the satanic bible said that he is pleased that Christians worship satan on halloween every year. Did you ever ask yourself what God thought about halloween. Paul recorded this: 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 KJV 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil You need to pray against this day and do something to honor our Lord instead. I wiil not serve Satan in any way. Instead bind him up so he will leave my presence. Only the Holy Spirit can give true satisfaction. 09/21/2024 Another TikTok find: The greatest man in history is Jesus. He had no servants, yet they called him master. He had no degree, yet they called him teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called him healer. He had no army, yet kings feared him. He won no military battles yet conquered the world. He did not live in a castle, yet they called him Lord. He ruled no nations, yet they called him King. He committed no crime, yet they crucified him. He was buried in a tomb, yet he lives today. His Kingdom is not of this world, yet it lies within the hearts of those who believe. He spoke of love and forgiveness and his words have transformed millions. He offers no material wealth, yet we consider him the treasure of our lives. He promises no earthly power yet in his name the powerless have found strength. Though he left no written words his messages have filled countless pages. In his weakness we find our strength. In his suffering our salvation. Jesus the greatest man in history continues to invite us to the story of redemption, love and eternal life. His name is Jesus Christ. 07/20/2024 A lot of hospitals use ultraviolet light to kill pathogens that are lurking in the midst. So, it is with God's light. When his light is present the disease of sin decreases its intensity. It may even flee. Hospitals also use disinfectants to finish the job. Infections are a serious thing when they get started in the patient. God uses the blood of his Son to completely disinfect us. After all we do not want to affect the body by being unclean. Having fellowship with godly people will help prevent the infection of sin from coming back. They will also make you accountable. 1 John 1:7 NLT But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 06/05/2024 As I was growing up I was like anyone else looking for friends. The friends I was most grateful for are the ones who Jesus Christ was a part of their life. Friends who know Christ do not like it when any sort of evil is present. We only did things that were honorable to our King. We had lots of fun. I did a lot of dirt biking growing up and I did have friends of the world who were also interested in what I liked and we did hang out during the day. I never found anyone who liked Jesus and dirt bikes. That was as far as I would go because of the excessive beer drinking and drugs that they did at night. It is true that bring up your children with godly perspectives does work. I knew what was right and I had the support of my friends in Christ. The bible talks about worldly friends and what things you can expect from them: 2 Timothy 3:4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. James 4:4 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. 1 Peter 4:4 Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you. You know you have a real friend if this happens: John 15:13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. Jesus wants to be your friend: John 15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:15 I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. Romans 5:11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. They say you can't take anything into heaven when you die. This is not true. If your friend loves Jesus he will be there in God's Kingdom too. Who knows that may be someone that you bring to Christ. They now need a friend who is on God's side: Revelation 3:20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. 05/09/2024 As we serve God we may come up with dreams of our own. These dreams may be honorable, but they just never seem to materialize. I am beginning to realize that God has dreams of his own. He uses his children to fulfil his dreams. Unlike our God who is an amazing multitasker we are not. When we divide our attention between his dreams and our dreams, we experience an efficiency drop in our performance on the things God asks us to do. We need to remember that God's dreams grow as we mature. He will give us more responsibility and possible expand into other areas. But we cannot grow if we are pursuing our own dreams. For example, we have a ghetto ministry. where we are serving his children in the ghetto. I thought it would be cool to start a ministry in the Fort Collins area for the same class of people there. My dream really has not materialized because he needs my full attention where I have been planted. We need to fulfil God's dream first. It's not that he doesn't value people in Fort Collins but his dream for me is the people in the ghetto down in the Denver area. He is wanting to bless these families. I totally understand why. These people are amazing in the way they worship God. We all know that God is spiritual in nature. These people have figured out how to worship God spiritually. There is no time in heaven and in spiritual worship there is also no time. When we truly get into worship no one checks their watch. No one is concerned about what time it is. God loves people who focus in on him and are not worried about their own agendas. That is one reason God wants to make sure these people are taking care of because they know how to honor our King. Peter sums it all up: 1 Peter 5:6 So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. He wants to bring honor to his children in the ghetto and he wants to bless their needs. He needs my full attention to accomplish his desire. Let’s give glory to our King by shelving our dreams and fulfilling God’s dreams first. 10/03/2022 After witnessing to the gangs in a Commerce City park, my buddy began witnessing on the street on Saturday night. Soon people started lining up to be prayed for. It is amazing how many people are out on the street after dark. The streets many times are even busy at 2:00 a.m. Later that evening, nine priest came up to him and talked him about him praying over the people. Earlier, they just came from a meeting and they were cruising the town and they noticed that there was about a dozen people waiting in line to be prayed for by my buddy. My buddy always places his hand on the person he is praying for. Lately, God has been bringing a lot of people to him. The people out on the street are becoming hungry for God. Those priests just sat there in their van and watched him for at least 15 minutes before they walked over to talk to him. After the priest conversed with him, my buddy asked the priests if they ever accepted Jesus Christ. It seems like an odd question to be asking a priest but they paused for a moment. They had to admit that none of them had. He began to explain to them about having that personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This brought me back to the story in John where Jesus was talking with Nicodemus. John 3 New Living Translation 1 There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. 2 After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.” 3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” 4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” 5 Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. 7 So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.” 9 “How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked. 10 Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? 11 I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. 12 But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. These priest are like Nicodemus because they know things of God but have separated themselves from God. Until we give our hearts to Jesus we will never see the Kingdom of God. After we give our hearts to Jesus, he will send his Spirit in return. The Holy Spirit can make us bold for God's Kingdom. The gifts from his Spirit he gives us will edify the body of his church. Jesus is much more than something that exists. He wants to live in us as we live for him. My buddy has many stories on this kind of living and I am trying to write a lot of it down. If God wanted me to, I could write multiple books on living for God in just what happens in our Ministry. If you want excitement in your life, Live for God! Those priests began to cry as they began living for Jesus. They asked my buddy to meet them the next day. They wanted to ask him questions about what they need to do to better serve God. I cannot wait to see what is going to happen to their congregations when they become on fire for Jesus Christ. The same is true for you. Could you imagine how that same personal relationship with Jesus Christ would impact the people you come into contact with. It is our time to change the world for Jesus Christ. Isaiah 33:22 New Living Translation 22 For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us. 09/20/2022 At first I was going to blow the verse off, then I began wondering if it is prophecy over me. I am sure it is for you. Joel 2:23 (New Living Translation) Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as the rains of spring. The first thing that came to my mind was all of the things having to do with the scamdemic, the inflation, the border, abortion and government corruption that has never seen this magnitude before. I believe that God is trying to say that he has this all under control. There is a large spiritual battle going on for the survival of America and the world. The rain signifies the great things God is going to do for those who love him. The show that our God is about to do is never going to be matched again to give our nation another chance. Let us all give thanks for what he is about to do. Our generation is blessed because we were created to be part of what he is about to do. I am sure many books will be written about what God did? 08/18/2022 As Christians we know there is forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. This can be a trap for Christians if they do not understand the full meaning of what Jesus did. Jesus will erase those sins forever but you may face consequences for your actions. Others around you may also be effected by what you have done. Jeremiah talks about this: Jeremiah 32:18 You show unfailing love to thousands, but you also bring the consequences of one generation’s sin upon the next. You are the great and powerful God, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. America has many idols today which money is number 1. Our past sins could even cause this: Ezekiel 44:12 But they encouraged my people to worship idols, causing Israel to fall into deep sin. So I have taken a solemn oath that they must bear the consequences for their sins, says the Sovereign Lord. This is why God wants us to live the clean life to prevent hardships on ourselves and on others. Paul confirms this: 2 Corinthians 7:1 (New Living Translation) Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God. When I was in college, youth makes us feel invicible. I had a guy tell me he was going to continue having worldly fun and ask for forgiveness later. Even you young people are not guaranteed tomorrow. Lets start serving Jesus Christ today and continue to do so. We do not want to reap the wrath of the consequences of our sin. Let us also think about others so they are not effected by the consequences of our sin either. 06/16/2022 As we read God's word we begin to understand who God is. We can see he is the ultimate Father: Psalm 103:13 (New Living Translation) The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. Until we have that reverance for God we continue to miss out on the wonderful things our King has to offer us. God is a lot of ways like earthly fathers in that: Proverbs 23:24 (New Living Translation) The father of godly children has cause for joy. What a pleasure to have children who are wise. Don't kid yourself our God has joy when we live a godly life and we use the wisdom he gives us. We focus on becoming citizens of heaven. As this verse says: Philippians 3:20 (New Living Translation) But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. With all the weird things going on it may be sooner than we think. Let's stay focused on Jesus so it will be impossible to miss him when he comes back. 06/09/2022 Almost every church will talk about the awesome grace we have received from Jesus Christ: John 3:17 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its savior. But the church does not want to deal with comes next. This is not a feel good message in this verse: Matthew 7:13-14 (New Living Translation) “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. Just think of viewing 100 people and more than 50 are going to hell. This may even mean someone sitting next to you in church may not be saved. If you don't believe me than why did Jesus say this: Mathew 7:21 I Never Knew You 21 “Not everyone who calls me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do. 22 When the Judgment Day comes, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! In your name we spoke God's message, by your name we drove out many demons and performed many miracles!’ 23 Then I will say to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you wicked people!’ So since Jesus Christ is unchangeable and always speaks the truth, why did he say this. We all have a free will and have to choose him. I always notice that in the summer months church attendance drops. Even Bible studies get canceled. Where in the Bible does it say we serve a winter God? We have a gang ministry and we feed hungry families each week. What would it be like to tell God to stick it because it messes with our summer plans of fun? That is what many Christians do every summer. If someone views your life and the life of the ungodly and cannot tell the difference this better be a wake up call. Ask Jesus Christ to forgive you and change your life for him. If our mind is not on serving God year around we only deceive ourselves. Don't let Jesus Christ say, "I never knew you."
