This is one of them: Psalm 121:7-8 NLT The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. What is interesting about this verse it can apply to the ungodly by the power of prayer. There have been many people fervently praying for their loved ones for their salvation. God has applied this verse to their lives also until they come around to give their hearts to Jesus Christ. God has brought people out of dark places that would have killed those who were not prayed for. So, continue trusting in the Lord and to pray for those who need salvation for as long as it takes. Isaiah 40:31 NLT But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. 06/17/2024 Before GPS driven equipment I would plant corn in a field that had long rows. The rows would seem to always have a curve in them. My lot younger son asked me why my rows were not straight. I made up a BS story and told him it is because of the corealis effect of the earth. It's rotating and since the rows are long it made my tractor plant like that. He took my word for it as the reason it happened. He is a lot older today and he would definitely question my logic. Our King wants us to be like my younger child. We need to believe everything our King says and not question it. In these last few years I have learned how special children are to God. Mathew 18:2-4 2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. 3 Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Our kids have angels in the presence of the Father: Mathew 18:10 10 “Beware that you don’t look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father. I know you college students do not like to be called children but continue to have faith like children and do not let us adults corrupt your faith. Us adults need to have the faith our young children have because the enemy of this world has corrupted us older people. To our children Jesus Christ has no limits, so why do we impose limits on him. 05/20/2022 Before Jesus Christ can return this is the church he is looking for: Romans 15:5-6 (New Living Translation) May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us to help us become this church. We become fitting followers of Jesus when we began to live like Christ wants us to. That includes not voting for demonic platforms like many Christians did in 2020. Jesus wants EVERYTHING to follow what he would do. Read God's word to know what that is. It impossible to know what Jesus wants without studying him. He is a lot more than what his resurrection did for us. Could you imagine what an undivided church must be like? The power of the enemy would be vanquished and the Holy Spirit would take over your church service. Now this is excitement in the church. This is the only thing a church should be doing. A church is not a place to entertain us but our worship is to Glorify our God. This is what we need to focus on is the God we serve. Just remember when the Holy Spirit moves it is never boring. Paul said basically the same thing to the Corinthians church: 1 Corinthians 1:10 (New Living Translation) I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. 05/07/2022 Because the grace of Jesus Christ we are now part of his family. Now what. What is God's will now that we are serving Jesus Christ. Thessalonians list the three things that God is looking for 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (New Living Translation) Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. What is joy? This word is different then happiness which is temporary. Getting a new car is happiness. 5 years from now the car will not bring the same results. Joy is more permanent because the enemy tries to remove it from us. It is fun to watch dedicated people who serve God. They may even have more joy then they started. I feel that joy is given by Jesus Christ. He alows us the experience joy. Keep serving the Lord to keep your joy levels high. Thankfulness is a form of worship. If we can thank God for the Blessings he has given us even during the bad days opens up a gate for the next thing. God loves it when we pray after giving thanks for the seen and unseen blessings. Just living in the United States makes us better off the 90% of the world. Why do we pray? James 4:3 Yet you don't have what you want because you don't ask God for it. 3 And even when you ask, you don't get it because your motives are all wrong, you want only what will give you pleasure. We pray to have God help with our needs and to increase our faith. We are relying on him. Even though he knows our thoughts he wants us to speak out our prayers. Even the Holy Spirit audibly speaks to God so why should we not do the same. Grab a friend and make your prayers more powerful. Mathew 18:19 19 "I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them." These three things are the will of God in our lives 04/24/2022 Blue Mustang: Man there is a lot in Ecclesiastes 7:8-10. Here are my thoughts: Ecclesiastes 7:8-10 8 Finishing is better than starting. The reward of finishing can lift one Spirits in a job well done. Starting to many projects can be depressing. Philippians 3:14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful Patience is better than pride. One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is patience but pride is not one of them. The Spirit knows best. 9 Control your temper, for anger labels you a fool. Only human anger can do this. This usually happens with rage and it can destroy your cool factor. Jesus proved righteous anger can honor God. He did it in the temple twice with the tables. James 1:19 19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 10 Don't long for "the good old days." This is not wise. This one can hold us back from the things that God wants to do in our lives. If we are serving him properly we should be excited today because we serve the winning God. Think about it: Why would God be cool back then and now today he is a drag. That is not the God I serve. You are not serving God; well that may be your problem. Start serving him today and now will become the "good old days". Try to stop this one. Jesus is worthy and the true God is amazing. Everthing else serves the devil. The true God get the Glory and the Victory. God has an intense interest in our children. We need to fight for them. Proverbs 31:8 8 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. 9 Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice. I was called by God to go by the abortion clinic in Boulder Colorado to witness to family that would be there. It was 10pm at night and the clinic was closed but a family was there contemplating getting an abortion. I was beginning to pray for them when Blue Mustang sent the text above to me at that same time. I looked at the message on my phone and showed them the time it was sent. I said, "This was sent for you." I began reading the message to them and they began to cry. They rededicated their lives to Jesus Christ and a life was saved. God gets the glory and the victory. 04/02/2022 Blue Mustang: Have you at times wished you had a more powerful Christian walk. That power can be all of ours for the asking and practicing. The power houses in the old testament did it with God's Spirit. Zechariah 4:6 It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies Jesus used the same Spirit and God's Word to do what he did. Just remember, he was human like us and could do nothing without these two things. He used them well. Acts 10:38 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. Jesus also made a promise that we would have even more power than he had. I notice that powerful men of God pray in the Spirit which gives them amazing strength. We are all eligable to receive the same power. Lets all walk in it and pray in it to be able to do what Jesus did. John 14:12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You know what would be cool. I am going to pray that the anointing of the Holy Spirit would touch everyone in this room tonight. Then when you go out where people are, they would notice the anointing over your life. It is true that God's word is all you need. I had this talk with some in the Mormon Faith which puts too much emphasis on the Book of Mormon which conflicts with the word of God. Any book you read about Jesus Christ must support God's word entirely and will never replace the Bible. You do NOT need anything else. Timothy figured it out. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. This one is for you who train someone. You represent Jesus Christ and your teaching methods should show that. It may be difficult but you also need to show love to your students or coworkers. After all Jesus did that for us. Titus 2 New Living Translation 7 And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. The Democrat party has completly removed God from their platform and the Republicans just don't acknowledge him. You notice that corruption is more rampant in our government than anytime in history. This is proof that our leaders need to discover Jesus Christ now. Psalm 14:1 (New Living Translation) Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good! God brought 9 gangs to me last weekend. 173 gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. I am going to see the gangs that left because they were not ready. 03/30/2022 Blue Mustang: Jesus lived his entire life pleasing the Father which kept him from sinning. If we only had that same desire to please the Father, we would not make such a mess out things by pleasing ourselves. Lucky for us, Jesus had so much love for us that he did not hold that against us when we realize our mistake and ask for forgiveness. His blood hides our sin to make us righteous to our Father. Not only is Jesus our high priest but he has great plans for our lives that will even please the Father even more. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (New Living Translation) For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ Jesus came because of our failure of keeping God's Law and the practice of animals shedding blood for our screw ups. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for our inability to keep the law. Being our high priest he made the sacrifice for us. The law still gives good points for living the godly life but it is not a replacement for Jesus Christ. That goes for man made laws also. They can trap you also. Galatians 5 New Living Translation Freedom in Christ 5 So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law Could you imagine when Jesus was 12 years old reading Isaiah 53:3-4 knowing how he was going to be treated in life. His relationship with God and his love for us kept him on the Will of the Father. In the end he experienced it all. When he took the sins of the world on himself, he became evil. Even God left his presence and he was all alone. None of us on earth truely knows what it is like not to have God around. His next challenge was to take on the devil for our souls where he won that victory over death to live again. He sent the Holy Spirit to enable us and to have a relationship with us. We can either accept or reject him and his gifts. Jesus Christ's desire is that no one parish but if we reject him or are embarrassed of him, he will deny us before our Father. Isaiah 53:3-4 (New Living Translation) He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins. 03/28/2022 Blue Mustang: It is interesting how Solomon and Jesus Christ think alike Proverbs 25:21 If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. 22? You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the Lord? will reward you. The godly in America did what Solomon said. Our lack of courage changed the spring into a swamp. I want to thank all those who prayed and God answered. He is already draining it. Lets become bold so this never happens again. Proverbs 25:26 If the godly give in to the wicked, it's like polluting a fountain or muddying a spring. Now this is true friendship. If Jesus is guiding our heart you will want this for your friend. Proverbs 27:17? As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. Solomon is comparing the Biden administration with Trumps. Proverbs 28: 2? When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily. But wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability. We do not know what it was like when there was just the law and only certain people could come to God. Jesus Christ changed this difficult process by becoming our high priest and sacrifice. There is no gift that will ever top this what this man did for us. We owe our Freedom to him and his cleansing blood to make us righteous to God. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 (New Living Translation) For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 03/26/2022 Blue Mustang: Proverbs 22 1 Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold. If we are walking with Jesus Christ properly we already believe this. If not, we need to reexamine our hearts. This was said by the smartest man on earth. God gave him this vast wisdom but he knew it did not even compare to our Kings mind. Proverbs 25:3 No one can comprehend the height of heaven, the depth of the earth, or all that goes on in the king's mind! Have you noticed how Jesus loves it when we talk to him. He desires to have a personal relationship with us. Developing a relationship with him requires communication such as prayer and asking for forgiveness. I really believe he gets excited when we talk to him. When he says something we may miss it if we are not listening or distracted by worldly activities. He wants to change our hearts to enable us to to look more like him and stand against evil. . 1 John 1:9 (New Living Translation) But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. Being a servant means living for others and our King. We were put here on earth to honor our King. We are indebted to him for everything that includes our blessings. ROMANS 14:. 7 For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves. 8 If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 03/25/2022 Blue Mustang: Romans 6:23 (New Living Translation) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Let's always remember this gift came at a price for us. We need to honor it by living righteous for our King. I am sure glad this is true. A lot of exposing is needed today with all the corruption going on. I pray that God continues to restore America. You may be experiencing your own trial right now. James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. Our political party we belong to should not define the correctness of our lives but the life of Jesus Christ should define what is correct. Model everything he did and you will please God. Proverbs 20:10 False weights and unequal measures[a], the Lord detests double standards of every kind. 03/17/2022 Blue Mustang: Why do we want to second guess our King? We would mess a lot of things up if we had our way. Isaiah 55:9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. Normally when I encounter a gang they keep their pistols trained on me until the Holy Spirit touches their hearts and they give there lives to Jesus Christ. I came upon a new gang and they did the same thing at first. As they got closer and saw the Bible in my hand, they put their weapons away. I was curious to know what made them put their weapons away. They responded by telling me that when we saw your Bible we figured that you were no threat to us. But they did not realize that I brought the Kingdom of God with me when I had that Bible. Proverbs 10:25? When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect 03/06/2022 Blue Mustang: Just think how God has taken us to this point in our lives to serve him by bringing his Kingdom to the gangs and families. It has been wonderful to see him work. Isaiah 25:1 O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them. I have been witnessing to the gangs for over 5 years. Sometimes only part of the gangs would give their hearts to Christ. But lately God is getting ready to release his Glory. We have seen the initial stages of it in God's ministry. It is time to take him seriously to open the doors to his wisdom. Proverbs1:? 7? Fear of the Lord? is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Man, this one makes contentment a gift. You will not do something you may regret or even get killed over. Proverb1:18? But these people set an ambush for themselves; they are trying to get themselves killed. 19? Such is the fate of all who are greedy for money; it robs them of life. Anyone who wants to do a gang or other dangerous ministry should take this verse to heart. The undercover police would also benefit from the power of this verse. Proverbs 1:33? But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm." Just as Joshua was commanded to go in and remove the bad people from the promised land, your job as Undercover police really is not much different.
