This is from a testimony who saw so called "Christians" who did not: When she explained the gospel I thought, ‘What if this is the answer to all of my problems?’ Since I had no background with Christianity, I learned everything with her. I never thought God could be my answer because the only ‘Christians’ I had known were taking part in the same worldly life I once was. But as I started to read the Bible and surround myself with people at Foundations Church, I began to understand there is a difference between lukewarm Christians and someone who has given their life to Jesus. I became so invested in learning about God. I was thinking about Him all the time even though just months before, I hadn’t even known who He was and what He did for us. On November 2, 2025, I gave my life to God. How many people are going to hell just by how our walk with the Lord is? Let's then look at people like this: How many people who have been saved by our walk with Jesus? You are one or the other. Jesus said, Matthew 6:24 NLT “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.{entertainment, cars, cellphones, and anything else that separates us from God.} 01/19/2026 Did David have that guy thing where you try to do it on your own first then get the instruction manual when you get stuck on what to do next? With God this philosophy is dangerous. He creates instruction manuals because he knows we are going to screw up. David found this out the hard way: 1 Chronicles 13:9-14 NLT 9 But when they arrived at the threshing floor of Nacon, the oxen stumbled, and Uzzah reached out his hand to steady the Ark. 10 Then the Lord’s anger was aroused against Uzzah, and he struck him dead because he had laid his hand on the Ark. So Uzzah died there in the presence of God. 11 David was angry because the Lord’s anger had burst out against Uzzah. He named that place Perez-uzzah (which means “to burst out against Uzzah”), as it is still called today. 12 David was now afraid of God, and he asked, “How can I ever bring the Ark of God back into my care?” 13 So David did not move the Ark into the City of David. Instead, he took it to the house of Obed-edom of Gath. 14 The Ark of God remained there in Obed-edom’s house for three months, and the Lord blessed the household of Obed-edom and everything he owned. It is cool how the ark blessed Obed-edom. I am not sure if he had kids, but isn't it like giving your kids metal forks in a room filled with electrical outlets. My grandkids have to touch everything. David found the instruction manual that God made on the ark and actually read it: 1 Chronicles 15:2, 12-15 NLT 2 Then he commanded, “No one except the Levites may carry the Ark of God. The Lord has chosen them to carry the Ark of the Lord and to serve him forever. 12 He said to them, “You are the leaders of the Levite families. You must purify yourselves and all your fellow Levites, so you can bring the Ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it. 13 Because you Levites did not carry the Ark the first time, the anger of the Lord our God burst out against us. We failed to ask God how to move it properly.” 14 So the priests and the Levites purified themselves in order to bring the Ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to Jerusalem. 15 Then the Levites carried the Ark of God on their shoulders with its carrying poles, just as the Lord had instructed Moses. It is interesting that everything works so much better when we do it God's way. No one has ever told me why when the Philistines handled the ark that none of them died when they hauled it into Dagon's temple. They had no idea how it was to be handled. Even more interesting, no one had the courage to open it. Or is it that God himself sealed it? 1 Samuel 5 NLT The Ark in Philistia 5 After the Philistines captured the Ark of God, they took it from the battleground at Ebenezer to the town of Ashdod. 2 They carried the Ark of God into the temple of Dagon and placed it beside an idol of Dagon. 3 But when the citizens of Ashdod went to see it the next morning, Dagon had fallen with his face to the ground in front of the Ark of the Lord! So they took Dagon and put him in his place again. 4 But the next morning the same thing happened—Dagon had fallen face down before the Ark of the Lord again. This time his head and hands had broken off and were lying in the doorway. Only the trunk of his body was left intact. 5 That is why to this day neither the priests of Dagon nor anyone who enters the temple of Dagon in Ashdod will step on its threshold. One can see that God had a sense of humor here. Soon all things must come to an end. God was ready for them to return it, so he made everyone in the town sick. The people soon begged to get rid of it. We have no idea how many people touched it before it came home. The ark of the covenant will always fascinate people. I have heard rumors that they know where it is, but I cannot prove it. 09/07/2025 Do you know what truly matters to the Lord? It is not your perfection, your resume, your eloquence, prayers, or how many verses you can recite? What touches God most is your heart, the hidden place no mess can cover up, no performance can polish, and no habit can hide. God looks past the surface and reaches into that secret place within you. And what he seeks is not flawlessness, but honesty. Not a spotless record but a surrendered will. A heart that humbly says, "God, I need you. I want you. I choose you even when I don't understand." That kind of heart moves the heart of God. Scripture gives us a living example. King David was not perfect. He sinned grievously and wounded others. Yet the Bible calls him a man after God's own heart, because David kept coming back, he didn't run from God, he ran to him. He brought his failures and tears, his praise and repentance and laid them before the Lord. Read the psalms, and you will hear his soul in every season with joy and sorrow, confession and celebration, longing and a love. God is not after perfect performance, but honest connection. Hear David's prayers like "May the words out of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer.": Psalm 19:14 NLT 14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. That is intimacy. Lord, not only my words but my hidden thoughts, let them please you. Examine me Oh Lord and improve me. Try my heart and my mind: Psalm 26:2 NLT 2 Put me on trial, Lord, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and my heart. With great courage, he asks, "Search me, show me, shaped me." After moral failure David prays, "Created me a clean heart Oh God and renew a right spirit within me." Psalm 51:10 NLT 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. He does not excuse sin. He seeks cleansing and a new beginning. He also writes. "With my whole heart I have sought thee, thy word I have hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee: Psalm 119:10-11 NLT 10 I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands. 11 I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. The heart is not just where we feel, it is where God's word can live. And when his word lives there, we are strengthened to walk in truth. The Bible says, "Above all else guard your heart for everything you do flows from it." Proverbs 4:23 NLT 23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Everything your thoughts, desires, relationships and decisions rises from the condition of your heart. So how do you guard it? With diligence, watch what you are feeding it. Every story you watch, every song you sing, every conversation you entertain is a seed sown into the soil of your soul. Gardens do not stay neutral. If you sow truth through scripture, prayer, and worship; faith and peace will grow. If you neglect the heart, weeds will take root along with bitterness, fear, pride and confusion, God is not merely concerned with outward behavior. He cares about who you are becoming within. Good fruit does not grow from hardened soil. Invite the Holy Spirit to soften, shape, and strengthen your inner life and remember God is not looking for a perfect heart. He is looking for a surrendered heart, one that keeps coming back again and again. So come to him now. Billy's Prayer: Dear Jesus, I come with my whole heart, it may be worn, cracked and carrying hurts I cannot name, but it is yours. Only you can reach the hidden places, heal the deep wounds and make me whole. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, flood the dry ground and sweep away what does not belong and settle my soul with your peace. Give me a heart like yours, gentle and strong ready to love when it is hard to forgive because you forgave me first to walk in freedom. Instead of bitterness touch the broken and the unseen around me, bind up their wounds, hold them close and let your nearness be their comfort. Lord, grant me a heart that obeys. Teach me to say "yes" to your will, to trust your leading more than my understanding, to choose your truth over the world's applause. Create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a right spirit within me. Tear out jealousy, pride, laziness, fear, and whatever does not honor you. I do not want to live a lukewarm life. Set my heart ablaze again. Remove every idol, known or unknown. Empty me of rivals. Fill me with your love, your word, and your spirit. Do not let disappoint harden me or unanswered prayers make me cold. Restore the joys of my salvation. Light the flame again Holy Spirit. Let us first listen to the word of God. I cannot change myself. I have tried and failed. Can anything good grow in me? I surrender, my shame, my hidden wounds, my secret sins. Heal memories and plant new dreams, rebuild what was ruined and make me new. Today, I declare my heart belongs to Jesus Christ, my savior, my healer, my friend and my King. Thank you, Jesus, for never giving up on me. All glory and honor and praise be to your name, in Jesus's mighty name. Amen. In honor of Billy Graham 08/09/2025 Do you ever struggle with your self-esteem? This is the favorite ploy of the enemy to destroy us. He uses our short comings to make us feel inferior. If you would get the opinion of those in government, they think we are all inferior. Jesus's quote is the only one that counts: Luke 12:6-7 NLT “What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. We are valuable to our King. But not so valuable that if we do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, we will not be saved. If you are not living your life the way you should, just repent like the thief on the cross: Luke 23:40-43 NLT 40 But the other criminal protested, “Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? 41 We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” 42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” 43 And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.” It really is that easy to come back to him, but this thief was granted a last-minute opportunity that most people will never experience. That is why it is important to get on his track today. Jesus is anxious to forget about our sins, but this means we change how we live: Galatians 6:7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. My final thought is that we are all valuable to our King, but I am not more valuable to Jesus than you are assuming we are both serving him. Even though God uses people to accomplish his events we will always need him more to help overcome the enemy. Jesus is willing, but are we? I am probably like many of you where I have weak areas in my walk. I also know "Jesus is Lord" and is capable of getting me back on his track too. Jesus is a gentleman and he will never force us to do anything. Living for Jesus requires we know him. Not knowing him is like the Indiana Jones movie "Last Crusade" which had the cups to drink from. The knight said, "Choose wisely" when picking a cup. The bad guy grabbed the jeweled laced cup, drank and died. The knight looked at Indy and said, "He chose poorly". Indy knew that Jesus was a carpenter's son and made the decision to pick the one made of wood. Indy used the water in the cup to save his dad in the end because he knew more about Jesus. Even though this is a science fiction movie the principal of knowing Jesus is still accurate. The more we know what Jesus wants the better our walk will be if we continue to love him. God's written word is a good place to start in knowing more about Jesus. 12/28/2024 Do you notice how people look for excuses why they need to reject God. Jesus and John the Baptist were two different personalities who fulfilled their calling. But many did not want to acknowledge that. Instead, they began making excuses: Matthew 11:18-19 NLT 18 For John didn’t spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, ‘He’s possessed by a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’ But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.” We should always be looking and the "end results" instead of looking for faults in people. If God did that, we would all be useless to him and he would turn away from us. Jesus was angry and had something to say about those who reject him: Matthew 11:20-24 NLT Judgment for the Unbelievers 20 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns where he had done so many of his miracles, because they hadn’t repented of their sins and turned to God. 21 “What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse. 22 I tell you, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you. 23 “And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today. 24 I tell you, even Sodom will be better off on judgment day than you.” This is more confirmation of the great number of people who are going to hell. This is also to get us to realize how important his word is to be preached to those people to get them to repent and be saved from hell. We were given free will and Jesus will not force himself on anyone. Rejection comes with eternal suffering. I am not a bold as I could be, but everyone needs to start by talking about things God is doing in your life now. If you are living for Christ, they may even ask you. One thing I know is that if I truly loved people, I would try very hard to get people into God's Kingdom. Jesus was so serious about this that he died and rose for me to make this happen. I want Jesus to continue to be Lord of my Life even if I am not perfect. 12/02/2024 Don't we all wish we had the relationship these two have: Hebrews 1:1-2 NLT Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. This is why Jesus has all the power his Father has because he always had it. That is why Jesus said "If you have seen me you have seen the Father." Jesus is Lord! 11/27/2024 Do you want blessings in your life and make God smile? Paul says it all here: Colossians 3:16 NLT Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. I have seen the message of Jesus Christ transform lives to their fullness. We were never meant to be lone rangers in life either. It takes a body to teach and counsel one another. Even doing these two things pleases God. But when you bring glory to his name with psalms and hymns with a thankful heart, just watch God do some amazing things in your life. The most detrimental thing about fulfilling this verse can be our worldly activities. It can change our focus on the things of God to the pleasures of self. I have experienced this myself. This can happen to anyone if we let our guard down. The enemy already has it planned to happen in a manner where we might not realize it is happening. He has had thousands of years to practice and is good at it. The Holy Spirit can give us discernment if we ask him to expose his plan. Just as those students said in the democrat rally, "Jesus is Lord" 11/14/2024 Did you ever wonder why Jesus who came to the Earth as a human, how he could possibly live his whole life without sinning? Believe it or not but Albert Einstein actually had the reason why Jesus did what he did. When Albert Einstein was in college, he was challenged by an atheist professor. He asked the entire class, "Does evil exist?" The response from the class was "Yes". The professor then asked the entire class, "Did God create everything?" The students all responded agreed that God created every thing. The professor then challenged them by saying, "That means God created evil. Then he is evil in of it himself." Einstein would not let his definition of evil go. He raised his hand and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?" The professor replied, "Yes, it does. Have you never been cold before?" Einstein then said, "Cold does not exist. Cold is the absence of heat. You measure temperature based on how much heat is the atmosphere." Einstein did not stop here. He then asked, "Professor, do you believes that darkness exists?" His professor responded, "Yes, darkness does exist." Einstein again said, "Professor, you are wrong. Darkness does not exist. You can only measure light. Darkness is the absence of light. You measure how dark it is by the lack of light." Einstein's final question to his professor was, "Professor, does evil exist?" His professor was beginning to become uneasy with this question, but finally said, "Yes, evil exist. You can see all the crime and violence going around the world." Einstein again said, "Sir, evil does not exist, at least not unto itself. Evil is the absence of God. Evils is what happens when men don't have God's love in their hearts. Evil is like cold when there is no heat and darkness when there is no light." The professor then sat down. Jesus was dedicated to the Father his entire life. God was always present in his life which made it possible for him to live a sin free life. So if we want to have any hope to live a nearly sin free life, the key is that strong relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus did it by his strong relationship with his Father. Always remember a sin free life is to please Jesus. It will never get you into heaven because it is works. Our salvation is based entirely on our relationship with Jesus Christ. Let us serve him because we love him. Jesus is Lord! 09/19/2024 Did you hear about the Pope calling Jesus Christ a liar. In Matthew Jesus was talking to his disciples and said this about getting into the kingdom of heaven: Matthew 7:13-14 NLT The Narrow Gate 13 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. The pope says just the opposite. The path of all religions leads to the Kingdom of God by default. In fact, even atheist if they are good, they too will end up in the Kingdom of heaven also. I am wondering if the pope has even read the bible. The way he talks like he's been reading "BS for Dummies". Bible 101 teaches that Yahweh is the only God and that there is a curse that goes along with not worshipping Yahweh. Exodus 20:5 NLT You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. God has given Jesus Christ total authority on who gets into the Kingdom of God. John 14:6 NLT 6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. Maybe the pope does know the scriptures but so does Satan. John talks about people who are more interested in the praise of man then praising God. John 12:43 For they loved human praise more than the praise of God. The scriptures also talk about people looking for leaders who speak what they want to hear and that is very dangerous. 2 Timothy 4:3 NLT 3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. Salvation cannot be earned. Only the blood of Jesus Christ has made us possible for us to enter the Kingdom of God. If worshipping any other god would get you into the Kingdom of God why did Jesus Christ waste his time doing what he did. It is an insult and mockery to tell Jesus what he did for us was unnecessary because God is going to let any religion into his Kingdom. It is true though that you can repent of this travesty and commit your life to Jesus Christ. He will forgive you and let you enter into God's Kingdom. This is a gift and it should not be taken lightly: Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT 8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. How do we know if we are on the side of Jesus? This is a litmus test to see if you are serious about your relationship with our King: Matthew 24:9-13 NLT 9 “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. 10 And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. 12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. If the people of this world all like you the enemy will probably leave you alone because you are ineffective to our King. That is the enemy's desire that we never serve our King, and that our salvation remains in jeopardy. You can tell that when this Pope was elected that the people who put him into power never prayed to the true God to have a godly representative. I have even heard about his desire to allow homosexual priests. God would never put somebody in power like this to represent him. I feel that those who put him there think just like he does. They all need to repent. Peter accurately talks about what is happening today: 2 Peter 2 NLT The Danger of False Teachers But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed. If we are not versed in God's word it will be easy for the enemy to deceive us. Satan uses part truth mixed with lies. Many times, it is not obvious what is wrong with his ideas. That is why it is so easy for him to trap us. Both God's word and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit is required to effectively reveal and overcome the enemy's plans. Let's not be deceived like the pope is. There are many people out there who are just like him, and we have to be on guard for them too. People in leadership have to really watch what they are doing. If we mislead other people, this will happen: Matthew 18:6 NLT But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. This verse or curse is so important that it is mentioned in the first three Gospels. The pope does not realize how much danger he is in. 03/15/2024 Developing our relationship with Jesus Christ is a lot like playing baseball. In God's baseball we are given the opportunity to hit the ball and run if we are willing to pick up the bat. He does not force us to do anything because he is giving us free will. When we hit that ball, it is like giving are heart to Jesus Christ for the first time. We are excited to be running to first base: 2 Timothy 1:9 (New Living Translation) For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. Unlike real baseball many of us choose to stay at first base. When we see the enemy out there in the outfield and know the fact that first base is safe, we decide we don't want to take a chance to continue developing that relationship. God calls taking a chance "faith" and he wants us to complete the journey that he sets us on. As we begin to trust in our King, we are ready to try for second base. Oh, do not forget that we can bind the enemy. God will tie the enemy's feet together to make it difficult for him the mess up your journey. You have arrived at second base: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (New Living Translation) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. We are now beginning to learn that God is there in our troubles. He is also preparing us to do the same for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Second base is even more spooky. Now there is a demon between second and third. The enemy is even stronger now. We are making the enemy more uncomfortable as we get closer to the end of our journey. Continue to bind the enemy as you continue your journey. The enemy also knows that we're growing stronger and hates it. But continue to take a risk of faith and we eventually will get to third base. Living for other people helps us get to third base quicker: 1 Peter 3:15 (New International Version) But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, God is looking for people to speak the truth of his word and want to share what Jesus is doing in your life today. Be careful what attitude you have when you speak to people because it may just turn them off. The enemy is really nervous now because it is beginning to look like you are going to score. He is going to try anyway possible to get us out. As we totally let go and let God run our lives, we are heading where God wants us to go: 2 Peter 1:5-8 (New Living Translation) In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. When we get this far, we score a victory for the church of Jesus Christ. This is what they mean by discovering the abundant life. One of the reasons things have gotten so bad today is that the church has spent too much time on first base. Even bound, the enemy will eventually catch enough balls that we hit. He will tag us while we are distracted. Now our team is out, and the score is zero. God will replace us with a team who wants to score and win the prize. Who knows he may even use the Jonah effect to wake the current team up. Three days in the belly of anything would sure do that. 01/05/2023 David, in the book of Psalm talked a lot about the enemy getting away with everything. A lot of times when people totally reject God they are abandoned. Hebrews 12:8 talks about those who are not children of his at all. We who are his children have to be disciplined to achieve that life of proper living. This is never fun and many times it is painful. God does this because he loves us. HEBREWS 12 does a good job of explaining this: Hebrews 12 God's Discipline Proves His Love 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne. 3 Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won't become weary and give up. 4 After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin. 5 And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said, "My child, don't make light of the Lord's discipline, and don't give up when he corrects you. 6 For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child." 7 As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? 8 If God doesn't discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all. 9 Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn't we submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live forever? 10 For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God's discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. 11 No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening, it's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. This training will turn us and then the church into something that will set an example to others who are watching. We need to show others why Jesus is the King of Kings by how we live and how we love others. The Holy Spirit is excited to help us do this if we let him. 07/12/2022 Do you feel like when you are working on doing things for God that what you are doing is insignificant. I will tell you that he is watching. We serve a big God: Jeremiah 32:17 (New Living Translation) “O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! To encourage us to keep going he has promises for us. Paul writes to the churches: Galatians 6:9 New Living Translation 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Philippians 1:6 (New Living Translation) And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Just remember you are appreciated by God if you are serving him. So do not give up. Do not expect the world to understand what you are doing. We only need to please Jesus Christ. This verse says it all: Hebrews 6:10 New Living Translation 10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. This is the King that loves us and that we need to continue to serve. Zechariah 14:9 (New Living Translation) And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped. 05/28/2022 Do you ever wonder if you love people enough. One test is when someone who has RECEIVED a promotion who has been working hard maybe even harder than you. How do you feel? Lets say you got a promotion and so did your coworker. Do you feel threatened? I hope in both cases you are happy for the other person. Love would do that. On the other end, if a coworker lost a spouse how would you react? Love would cause you to weep along with your coworker just as Paul says: Romans 12:15 (New Living Translation) Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. We do not love enough if we cannot live this verse. It is time to ask the Holy Spirit into our lives if we have not done so. The Holy Spirit will make us more sensitive to other people along with stronger love. Could you imagine a church with this kind of love. Anyone facing a tragedy would have the support of the body and people would reach out to them to comfort them. This is what love does. 05/12/2022 Do any of us have high opinions of ourselves? God does not make junk and we are a masterpiece. But don't let that go to your head. Jesus gave an example of someone who did. Luke 18:9-14 9 Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: 10 “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer[b]: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’ 13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ 14 I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Paul defined who we are very well: Romans 3:23-24 (New Living Translation) For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. James asks the question about the way we behave. James 1:26 26 If you claim to be religious but don't control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. 27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. By now we understand that we still have work ahead of us to be what Jesus asks of us. In order to be pure and genuine we need to care for those who are weak an seek the truth of God. You definitely will not get any truth from the mainstream media. They will definitely corrupt you. 03/03/2022 Do you think maybe we are to easily deceived because we have lost our respect for him. It is time to take him seriously to open the doors to his wisdom. Proverbs1: 7 Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline . Man, this one makes contentment a gift. You will not do something you may regret or even get killed over. Proverb1:18 But these people set an ambush for themselves; they are trying to get themselves killed. 19 Such is the fate of all who are greedy for money; it robs them of life. Anyone who wants to do a gang or other dangerous ministry should take this verse to heart. The undercover police would also benefit from the power of this verse. Proverbs 1:33 But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm." 02/23/2022 Did David see the Democrat crap that is happening in 2020 to 2022 Psalm 2 1 Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? 2 The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one.
