John 2:23-25 NLT 23 Because of the miraculous signs Jesus did in Jerusalem at the Passover celebration, many began to trust in him. 24 But Jesus didn’t trust them, because he knew all about people. 25 No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart. Why didn't I ever hear about conditioning our hearts to a place where Jesus will begin to trust us. It so easy to let him down. Just follow after the world. The other, which is more difficult, is to focus on spiritual things to gain that trust. It makes you think, "How much does Jesus trust me?". Jesus is no quitter and stays with us while we grow spiritually if we are serious about that relationship. Jesus is Lord!!!!!!! 11/26/2025 God's favorite thing from us is obedience. Second is gratitude: 1 Chronicles 16:8 NLT Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Third is to honor his name in all nations. After all "Jesus is Lord"! Psalm 136:1,26 NLT Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 11/18/2025 God gives us talents and God blesses those talents. When this happens we see results. The dangerous thing about this is when we take full credit for what happened. After all, I worked hard to make these things happen! What can happen to us when we become arrogant? This is the story about the rich man Nabal: 1 Samuel 25:4-9 NLT 4 When David heard that Nabal was shearing his sheep, 5 he sent ten of his young men to Carmel with this message for Nabal: 6 “Peace and prosperity to you, your family, and everything you own! 7 I am told that it is sheep-shearing time. While your shepherds stayed among us near Carmel, we never harmed them, and nothing was ever stolen from them. 8 Ask your own men, and they will tell you this is true. So would you be kind to us, since we have come at a time of celebration? Please share any provisions you might have on hand with us and with your friend David.” 9 David’s young men gave this message to Nabal in David’s name, and they waited for a reply. David and his men have been hiding from Saul in this valley. David loves people and he has been watching over Nabal's possessions during this time and his workers knew about it. Nabal could care less about what David did: 1 Samuel 25:10-11 NLT 10 “Who is this fellow David?” Nabal sneered to the young men. “Who does this son of Jesse think he is? There are lots of servants these days who run away from their masters. 11 Should I take my bread and my water and my meat that I’ve slaughtered for my shearers and give it to a band of outlaws who come from who knows where?” Does being arrogant make you stupid? When do outlaws who are hungry ask for food? They just take what they want. Nabal's wife took charge that day and prevented the slaughter of her family by graciously bringing goods to David's men. God did not forget though: 1 Samuel 25:37-38 NLT 37 In the morning when Nabal was sober {a party to exalt Nabal}, his wife told him what had happened. As a result he had a stroke, and he lay paralyzed on his bed like a stone. 38 About ten days later, the Lord struck him, and he died. When God blesses you, do not create excuses to not help people. Always give thanks to God because our talents are on loan from God. Many times he reveals things to us to allow us to do amazing things in our work. Getting cocky like Nabal and living for himself, really angered God. It also shows that we "DO NOT LOVE PEOPLE" I really believe God continues to bless those who bless his children in need. Blessing others in need: "JUST DO IT" 11/12/2025 God calls us to do things for him. He usually has a plan how to proceed with that calling. God had a big job for King Saul to do: 1 Samuel 15:3 NLT 3 Now go and completely destroy the entire Amalekite nation—men, women, children, babies, cattle, sheep, goats, camels, and donkeys.” Why is it when we know what we are suppose to do, we try to justify our amended actions by putting God in the equation? 1 Samuel 15:14-15 NLT 14 “Then what is all the bleating of sheep and goats and the lowing of cattle I hear?” Samuel demanded. 15 “It’s true that the army spared the best of the sheep, goats, and cattle,” Saul admitted. “But they are going to sacrifice them to the Lord your God. We have destroyed everything else.” Putting God into an amended action that was our thought did not work at all for Saul. In the end this happened: 1 Samuel 15:34-35 NLT 34 Then Samuel went home to Ramah, and Saul returned to his house at Gibeah of Saul. 35 Samuel never went to meet with Saul again, but he mourned constantly for him. And the Lord was sorry he had ever made Saul king of Israel. I was about to continue to the next chapter because I said to myself, "I would never do that." Then God showed my an event in his calling. God's dream was to bless the people in the ghetto on east Colfax and I was to help him do that. He just loved the hearts of the people who lived there. They would worship him anytime. That is how much they loved him. Even though I wanted to stick with God, I wanted to do something for the needy in Fort Collins. It seemed to go nowhere fast. I told God this will help the needy in Fort Collins and you know about all those verses talking about helping people. This was when I realized I was a lot like Saul doing my thing. I am grateful that God humored me a little bit, but it fell flat on it's face. I had to learn about the heart God sees and the dreams that God has. He wants me to give my time here. He also knows that I am not capable of giving 100% in two places. If I pursued my idea any longer, God may have also said, "I am sorry that I gave this ministry to him." When God tells us how to accomplish a task, let's do it his way. Avoid the shortcuts and creating excuses to change things up. What is so cool about doing things 100% God's way, there is no way to mess things up. Today, I have no desire to do the Fort Collins ministry because I know God want me here. As long as their hearts stay focused on Jesus, I could be there a long time. Who knows if the people in Fort Collins hearts turn to God like the ghetto he may have a change of plans. God never starts a new plan until the old one is secure. Jesus Christ - Commander in Chief 10/13/2025 Going to church today, I had a missionary going to Austria and he was talking about Secularism being so strong there. I looked up the definition: Secularism From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Secularism is the principle of seeking to conduct human affairs based on naturalistic considerations, uninvolved with religion. It is most commonly thought of as the separation of religion from civil affairs and the state and may be broadened to a similar position seeking to remove or to minimize the role of religion in any public sphere.[1] Secularism may encapsulate anti-clericalism, atheism, naturalism, non-sectarianism, neutrality on topics of religion, or antireligion.[2] Secularism is not necessarily antithetical to religion, but may be compatible with it.[3] As a philosophy, secularism seeks to interpret life based on principles derived solely from the material world, without recourse to religion. It shifts the focus from religion towards "temporal" and material concerns. Looks like it is not just a problem for just Austria, it is in America too! Step 1 - The enemies first step is to replace Jesus on the throne with "Self" on the throne. Advertisers love it when we sit on the throne. Step 2 - Now that we are sitting on the throne they now entice us with pleasurable things. This is the pursuit of happiness. In the short term life seems great. Step 3 - The enemy knows that we have a place in us that only the true God can fill. This emptiness can lead to despair and hopelessness. He is hoping that feeling will destroy us. This make him the victor if we remain ignorant of the things of God. Don't just take my word, read this: Ecclesiastes 2 NLT The Futility of Pleasure 2 I said to myself, “Come on, let’s try pleasure. Let’s look for the ‘good things’ in life.” But I found that this, too, was meaningless. 2 So I said, “Laughter is silly. What good does it do to seek pleasure?” 3 After much thought, I decided to cheer myself with wine. And while still seeking wisdom, I clutched at foolishness. In this way, I tried to experience the only happiness most people find during their brief life in this world. 4 I also tried to find meaning by building huge homes for myself and by planting beautiful vineyards. 5 I made gardens and parks, filling them with all kinds of fruit trees. 6 I built reservoirs to collect the water to irrigate my many flourishing groves. 7 I bought slaves, both men and women, and others were born into my household. I also owned large herds and flocks, more than any of the kings who had lived in Jerusalem before me. 8 I collected great sums of silver and gold, the treasure of many kings and provinces. I hired wonderful singers, both men and women, and had many beautiful concubines. I had everything a man could desire! 9 So I became greater than all who had lived in Jerusalem before me, and my wisdom never failed me. 10 Anything I wanted, I would take. I denied myself no pleasure. I even found great pleasure in hard work, a reward for all my labors. 11 But as I looked at everything I had worked so hard to accomplish, it was all so meaningless—like chasing the wind. There was nothing really worthwhile anywhere. The Wise and the Foolish 12 So I decided to compare wisdom with foolishness and madness (for who can do this better than I, the king?[a]). 13 I thought, “Wisdom is better than foolishness, just as light is better than darkness. 14 For the wise can see where they are going, but fools walk in the dark.” Yet I saw that the wise and the foolish share the same fate. 15 Both will die. So I said to myself, “Since I will end up the same as the fool, what’s the value of all my wisdom? This is all so meaningless!” 16 For the wise and the foolish both die. The wise will not be remembered any longer than the fool. In the days to come, both will be forgotten. 17 So I came to hate life because everything done here under the sun is so troubling. Everything is meaningless—like chasing the wind. The Futility of Work 18 I came to hate all my hard work here on earth, for I must leave to others everything I have earned. 19 And who can tell whether my successors will be wise or foolish? Yet they will control everything I have gained by my skill and hard work under the sun. How meaningless! 20 So I gave up in despair, questioning the value of all my hard work in this world. 21 Some people work wisely with knowledge and skill, then must leave the fruit of their efforts to someone who hasn’t worked for it. This, too, is meaningless, a great tragedy. 22 So what do people get in this life for all their hard work and anxiety? 23 Their days of labor are filled with pain and grief; even at night their minds cannot rest. It is all meaningless. 24 So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work. Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God. 25 For who can eat or enjoy anything apart from him? 26 God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. This, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind. 10/12/2025 God is really big into our parents that he even wrote one of the ten commandments about it. What Solomon said about out parents is also accurate with our heavenly Father: Proverbs 1:8-9 NLT My child, listen when your father corrects you. Don’t neglect your mother’s instruction. What you learn from them will crown you with grace and be a chain of honor around your neck. Honoring our parents is like Spock saying on Star Trek, "Live long and prosper!" It is also a promise from God when we honor our parents while honoring him. 09/14/2025 God is still in control my dear friend. Today, I want to remind you of a truth that never changes. God is still on his throne. No matter what you are facing, no matter how many doors seem to have closed in front of you, No matter how uncertain tomorrow looks, God has not abandoned his place of authority. He sees your entire journey from beginning to end. He knows every detail, every trial, every disappointment, every prayer you have whispered through tears. Although life may seem confusing, he remains sovereign, faithful, and in control. So often we try to take charge of our own lives. We make plans, set goals, and map out the future. We believing that if we work hard enough that things will go exactly the way we expect. But sooner or later, life teaches us a humbling lesson. We are not in control. Opportunities slip away, Dreams collapse, prayers seem unanswered and doors shut in front of us. Fear begins to creep in. Worry begins to take root and in our weakness, we ask Lord, "Why, why did you let this happen? Why did you close that door when I believed it was the right one." But listen closely, those closed doors are not accidents. They are not failures. They are not rejections. They are part of gods greater plan. You and I can only see what's directly in front of us. But God sees all the dangers. We cannot see the heartbreaks that lie ahead. The hidden traps the enemy has set. Out of his love, he closes doors not to harm us but to guide us. Every closed door is a form of protection, a divine redirection towards something far better than we could imagine. Psalm 46:10 NLT 10 “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. The Bible declares in Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God." This is not a call to give up. It is a call to trust. It means releasing the need to control every outcome. Surrendering our expectations and our timeline into his hands. The moment we let go and the moment we stop striving in our own strength, that is when his peace begins to flow. Worry cannot change the outcome. Fear cannot open the right doors. Anxiety cannot create clarity. But when we say, "Lord, I don't understand but I trust you." Suddenly the weight lifts off of us and we begin to see him working in ways we never thought possible. Close doors are not signs of God's absence. They are are signs of his presence. The same hand that shuts one door will open another. The same God who says "No" is the God who is preparing a greater yes! Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own on understanding. In all your ways, submit to him and he will make your paths straight. Notice the command, "Do not lean on your own understanding!" Why, because your understanding is limited. Mine is too, but his wisdom is perfect and his plan is flawless. Look through scripture and you will see this truth again and again. Joseph was betrayed, sold into slavery and thrown into prison. Every door seemed closed, yet in God's timing, Joseph went from the prison to the palace in a single day. What seemed like setbacks were actually setups, for God's purpose. Abraham and Sarah waited decades for the promised child. Their patients was tested. But when the time was right, Isaac was born. David was anointed as king while still a shepherd boy and he waited years before taking the throne. Again and again the Bible reminds us God's delays are not God's denials. His timing is always perfect. When doors close in your life, don't despair. Don't waste your energy trying to pry them back open. Instead, lift your eyes to the one who holds the master key. He sees the end from the beginning. And he knows what is best for you. Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT 8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are your ways my ways declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth. So are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." You may not understand what he is doing now. But one day you will look back and see that every closed door was part of his mercy. Fear will try to convince you that you are forgotten. But remember, fear does not come from God. 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power. And of love and of a sound mind, fear paralyzes, but faith moves, mountains, faith says, I may not know what the future holds. But I know the one who holds the future." So today let go of fear. Release worry, stop striving. Start trusting the same God who parted the Red Sea, who brought down Goliath, who crumbled the walls of Jericho, is the same God who holds your life in his hands. When he closes a door it is because he has something greater waiting for you. When his answer seems delayed, it is because he is preparing you for blessings you cannot yet carry my dear friend. God has not forgotten you. He is still writing your story. And when the right time comes the door he opens, no one can shut. Trust him, walk by faith and rest in the unshakable truth that God is still in control. Jesus is Lord! In honor of Billy Graham 08/17/2025 God really thinks highly of us: Ephesians 2:10 NLT For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. God made me and you great and gave us Jesus as a role model to do amazing things. Then why is it when I have time to contemplate our God that I do not have the excitement and understanding that David has about God: Psalm 139:1-12 1 You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. 5 You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. 7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. Everything in these verses describe our God accurately. I need to continue to understand who our God is so that I can describe him like David does. The Holy Spirit will help our literary skill to make our words come to life to describe the only living God. People around us need to know about the power our God who sent his Son Jesus to redeem us. We may not be able to remember a lot of bible verses. But we need to know enough about God to be able to accurately describe our God in our own words. Jesus is Lord and we are his representatives! 03/15/2025 God sure wants us to know how much his Holy Spirit can change a man and has again chose Peter to talk about it. Peter walked with Jesus but he was nothing like he is here in Acts: Acts 4:8-12 NLT 8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of our people, 9 are we being questioned today because we’ve done a good deed for a crippled man? Do you want to know how he was healed? 10 Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead. 11 For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ 12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” All things in God's word confirms itself. John quotes Jesus: John 14:6-7 NLT 6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. 7 If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!” I firmly believe as verse 7 says, "If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is". Jesus is the key to everything, especially this: John 14:12-14 NLT 12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! God can just bless us but remember if you want something you need to make sure it glorifies God and his Son. God does not want to give us things that will destroy us or our relationship with him. Sometimes we have wait to make sure our attitude stays honorable to our King. People are watching us all the time to see how we really live. Our sacrifice will never match what Jesus went through. Let's try to remember this and recognize the fact that Jesus is our "Commander & Chief" 03/12/2025 God has been giving me verses from Peter lately. This one is about growing our faith. 2 Peter 1:3-10 NLT Growing in Faith 3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. 5 In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. 8 The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins. 10 So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard {I can be lazy sometimes in this area} to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. Paul says similar things that Peter wrote: Colossians 3:12 NLT Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Galatians 5:22-23 NLT 22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! When you are inspired by the Holy Spirit you will speak the heart of God. His heart speaks the same for everyone. This is the same Peter that walked with Jesus. The Holy Spirit sure gave Peter a boost with abundant wisdom to write these amazing letters. If you think about it, "Jesus is Lord" so there are no limits in what he can accomplish through us today. He is ready, but are we? Is there anything in our lives holding us back now? 04/08/2024 God actually created us to do good works, but our good works cannot cover the screw ups we make. Paul reminds of this many times: Romans 3:23 NLT For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. This one confirms that we were created to do good works. Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT 8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. James also confirms Paul: James 2:26 Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works. It looks like sitting on the couch and watching movies all day is not in God's plan. We need to be where the people are reflecting and talking about Jesus Christ. That brings Glory to his Son. One of the most dangerous things we can do is to be thinking about all the good things we have done in our life. This takes focus off our King and exalts our personal life to the point that we believe we have earned that spot into the Kingdom of heaven. One thing I like about Paul is his life that he led under Jesus Christ. It shows me that we are nothing without Jesus. When he was counselling Timothy in his second letter, Paul knew his time was up on this earth. Only Jesus Christ can deliver a peace that his letters reflected to Timothy. Jesus came for all of us. He wants all of us to have that peace Paul had while we do good things for our King. 01/31/2024 God gives us all abilities. These abilities are not the same for everyone. The only thing I know for sure is that our abilities were given to us in order to glorify our King. Some can sing and rock the house with beautiful worship. There are those who are creative and can turn a bunch of pop cans into a fighter jet. Our abilities also allow us to earn wages to live. Those who have greater abilities may make more money then those who have less if they are willing to work. God expects all of us to develop our talents for him. Don't let the enemy trick you into saying you have no talent or my talent is dumb. Your talent may be more important to what God needs now then someone who is in a position of worship. The devil found out the hard way that he could be replaced. Trust God that he did not make you from junk and he has a plan for you: Jeremiah 29:11 New Living Translation 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. It is cool to be good at doing things that others may find difficult or even impossible. This can be dangerous in the fact you may begin to elevate yourself above others. If you find yourself changing friends because they become inferior is a real problem. If God is removed from the center of your life you may experience great defeat and/or embarrasement when God bring forth someone with even greater talent. If you have a servants heart like Jesus, James said let Jesus lift you up in honor. Now this would be cool being honored by the King of kings: James 4:10 (New Living Translation) Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. Paul confirms this in his letter to the Ephesians. He also mentioned that we are dealing with people who are not perfect including ourselves. If we have love we will be patient and make allowances for our faults. Ephesians 4:2 (New Living Translation) Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. How do we know if our minds are in a humble state? Paul has a plan: Philippians 4:8 (New International Version) Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. There is a lot of good stuff in chapter 4 that can help get our minds into proper focus. Philippians 4:6-9 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. 8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you. They will know you by your fruit!!!! 06/08/2023 God has given us a wonderful family ministry in the ghetto of Denver. What makes the families so cool is how they see God: Psalm 90:2,4 (New Living Translation) Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, you are God. There is a lot of gun fire and violence in the ghetto. But when God sends us, this is how the families survive there and how we get things done: Habakkuk 3:19 (New Living Translation) The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights. This is so true. I have heard how the families come together to worship God on Saturday morning. Saturday morning is dedicated to worshipping God and blessing the new families in the middle of the danger. They totally understand the strength of God. This is something we should all strive for. The families understand what happens when Jesus is allowed to make a home in their hearts. This verse demonstrates what they all strive for. We should also do the same: Ephesians 3:17-19 (New Living Translation) Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. I have heard about the families fullness of life and power that comes from the real God. The families that God has asked us to bless in the past are looking for new specific families in the ghetto who are in need. Even though they do not have a lot themselves, it does not stop them from sharing in their own homes with the new families who have even less. They are deeply rooted into God's love. My goal is to be as deeply rooted into God's love as they are to the point we live for what God wants and turn every aspect of our life over to him. I am thankful that God uses this ministry to restore the faith of each family that is blessed. God get the Glory and the Victory on this one. 11/10/2022 God is going to do something in America that many people will not like. That fence that the devil owns has God's Kingdom on one side and the world on the other side. That fence is about to get electrified and we are going to have to pick a side. Jesus is looking for committed Christians and is getting ready to make his church awesome. He thinks like Joshua: Joshua 24:15 (New Living Translation) But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” It is getting that serious and we are running out of time. Look what the true God offers us: Isaiah 55:3-9 New Living Translation 3 “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David. [He wants to make a covenant with us. You know how God honors his covenants. Only our loss of fear of our King can mess that up. If we truly repent he is anxious to restore his covenant. ] 4 See how I used him to display my power among the peoples. I made him a leader among the nations. [This one is for you President Trump] 5 You also will command nations you do not know, and peoples unknown to you will come running to obey, because I, the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, have made you glorious.” [Since President Trump became Born again in the first year of his presidency, I have seen this happen also. It amazing to see this happen. This is a promise that those of you in leadership can also experience on a smaller scale.] 6 Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. 7 Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. [If we mess up or mess up trying to serve the Lord. It is not our our end. The last verse promises, "Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously."] Yep, everything going on today is for the sake of Jesus Christ. He is wanting everyone worldwide to know about him and come to him. After all, he came to earth to save us. The enemy has been interfering with this process and is about to be crushed. Do not let appearances make you doubt this. This verse says it all: Ephesians 1:9-10 (New Living Translation) God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. Yes, I want things to go faster too but our God is not going to do anything outside of any laws that he inspired. If he goes too fast, many may lose their opportunity to come to Christ. We should pray that God reveals his Glory soon. 07/01/2022 God has given each one of us talents. We can develop these skills to a point where we become very good at it. God expects us to develop those talents for him. Others will develop their talents to become the best in the world at what they can do. Does our attitude look like this when this happens: Luke 18:9-14 Parable of the Pharisee and Tax Collector 9 Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: 10 “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’ 13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ 14 I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Paul has more to say about this: Romans 3:23-24 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. 24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. He than give us a warning: Romans 12:3 (New Living Translation),Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. We need to keep our focus on Jesus Christ and remember that our talents are mainly to be used to glorify him, not to make money only for our selfish interests. Don't get me wrong, God desires to bless us as long as our heart is not like the Pharisee's heart. 05/17/2022 God really does want to share his riches, wisdom and knowledge if we ask assuming we come to him with a servants. Even though God will not do anything without telling his prophets first: Amos 3:7 Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. No one can usually figure out when or the exact details on how he is going to do something. Unless you have the gift of prophecy, those who do not listen to his prophets or listen to mainstream media are totally clueless on the things God is about to do: Romans 11:33 (New Living Translation) Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! God really is unchanging. No one could figure him out in the old testament either: Ecclesiastes 11:5 (New Living Translation) Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things. I have listened to the various prophets and tested them. God is really about to do some big things in the short term probably this summer but I have no idea how he is going to do it. I have been told by God that he does not need my opinion on things. As I grow wiser I am glad he does not listen to my advice. God is like a well tuned machine. He operates very smoothly and lots of things are being accomplished while we serve him. As I write this more bad guys are being removed from this nation in secret. He will expose everything to us soon. Jesus Christ gets to use the resources of this nation to reach the whole world. Even though Jesus is going after the whole earth, the covenant the pilgrims made with him is allowing America to be the hub to reach all nations. I am excited to live in the most blessed nation on earth where I will get to see God work on his glorious terms. Oh by the way, God wins! And when he wins no man will be able take credit for it. That includes the fake gods out there. 05/03/2022 God did send his son. He not only came for the forgiveness of sins but to assist us by his Holy Spirit. John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. Now that he is in our midst, why don't we trust that is enough. He is with us to the end. So fear is from the enemy. Romans 12:12 (New Living Translation) Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying Pray for things that glorify God's Kingdom. Stay away from selfish desires when praying. 1 John 5:14-15 (New Living Translation) And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for. This is a promise if what you are praying for glorifies God's Kingdom. A new pickup or house could glorify his Kingdom. A pickup could serve gangs and a home could be used to reach children. It can be fun and still glorify his Kingdom. Your heart will show if you have impure motives. 03/19/2022 God has always known about what is happening to us today. The devil is challenging our joy and our peace and is trying to replace it with fear. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us to strengthen us. Let's rely on the Holy Spirit to undo what the devil is doing to us. Romas 15:13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. 03/11/2022 God made covenant with Abraham for a nation to be called Israel. In 1620 the pilgrims made a covenant with God that they would run there government based on biblical principles. Unlike Abraham the pilgrims sought out God first and made covenant with him. In fact this nation is the only one who ever did this. God has not forgotten this and he is not done with America. Continue to have faith that the swamp is being drained as I write this. Let's continue to serve him to honor who he is Deuteronomy 7:9 Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
