03/27/2025 I am sure that we all remember this:
Romans 13:1-7 NLT
Respect for Authority
Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you.

Now lets see what Jesus did to people in authority:

Luke 13:31-32 NLT
Jesus Grieves over Jerusalem
31 At that time some Pharisees said to him, “Get away from here if you want to live! Herod Antipas wants to kill you!”

32 Jesus replied, “Go tell that fox that I will keep on casting out demons and healing people today and tomorrow; and the third day I will accomplish my purpose.

Sounds a little disrespectful to me to someone in authority. Unless Jesus recognizes that the Fathers authority precedes mans authority. Jesus always got the goat of the religious leaders whenever he healed someone on the Sabbath. John was no better when he challenged Herod. He too recognizes God's authority over mans.

Matthew 14:3-4 NLT
3 For Herod had arrested and imprisoned John as a favor to his wife Herodias (the former wife of Herod’s brother Philip). 4 John had been telling Herod, “It is against God’s law for you to marry her.”

After John challenged Herod's authority, Jesus said:

Matthew 11:11-12 NLT
11 “I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is! 12 And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it.

Jesus continues to say bad things about the religious to his disciples.

Matthew 16:5-12 NLT
Yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees
5 Later, after they crossed to the other side of the lake, the disciples discovered they had forgotten to bring any bread. 6 “Watch out!” Jesus warned them. “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

7 At this they began to argue with each other because they hadn’t brought any bread. 8 Jesus knew what they were saying, so he said, “You have so little faith! Why are you arguing with each other about having no bread? 9 Don’t you understand even yet? Don’t you remember the 5,000 I fed with five loaves, and the baskets of leftovers you picked up? 10 Or the 4,000 I fed with seven loaves, and the large baskets of leftovers you picked up? 11 Why can’t you understand that I’m not talking about bread? So again I say, ‘Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.’”

12 Then at last they understood that he wasn’t speaking about the yeast in bread, but about the deceptive teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

When your authority figures live for the enemy this part flips, "For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you."

Now, if you do not live to sin they want to throw you in prison for doing what is right. Our constitution inspired by God has the death penalty for treason and crimes against humanity. It is great when these demonic authority figures are destroyed.

Did you know that when America was growing that they would add another person to represent those new people. When we reached 430 plus congressmen they found out how chaotic things were becoming so they capped the number. They are now placing more people under one representative. Could you imagine what it would be like if 300 million people tried to run the government on there own. God also knew that and that is why we have people in authority to represent us and why he gets so angry when we do not abide by authority guidelines. He actually has our best interest at heart. Jesus and John also show that God's authority is greater then man's and we should put his authority first just like Jesus and John did.

Make sure you are doing what God actually tells you to do and not to be rebellious. One sure sign if you are obeying God is that it reveals that "Jesus is Lord"
03/21/2025 I am getting a lot of verses from the letters of Peter lately. I feel God is about to purge the lukewarm people from his church:

1 Peter 2 NLT
2 So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. 2 Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, 3 now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.

Could you imagine what a church would be like if people did what Peter talked about. The spiritual war that is coming needs people who are on fire for Jesus Christ. The enemy will not even want to be near such a place. I believe the day of this kind of church is coming. If you are like me you blow it once in a while when it comes to getting rid of all evil behavior. The important thing is to recognize it and continue to work to get rid of it. The Holy Spirit is willing to help out because he knows that "JESUS IS LORD"
02/18/2025 In the last comment we talked about How powerful is the love of Jesus Christ?

Romans 8:35,37 NLT
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?

So many Christian may asking themselves, "I never have experienced any of this. Jesus must really love me." Only half of this thought is true.

The enemy will leave you alone when you become ineffective for God. He has you right where he wants you. In fact he may even have cool things happen to you so you stay that way. You may even have to question your salvation if you enjoy be ineffective for our King. The enemy only comes against those who love our King and are on fire for him by being obedient to his will.

If we truly love our King we will learn what he wants and commit ourselves to his dreams. This action [

James 2:14-26 NLT
Faith without Good Deeds Is Dead

14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? 15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?

17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

18 Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”

19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. 20 How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?

21 Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. 23 And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. 24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.

25 Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. 26 Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.
]

describes us when we are dead.

If these verses describe you it is time to make some changes. Granted you will make the enemy angry and he will try to come after you. God is still going to be the winner so lets not worry about the enemy and get out there and do the will of our King. Let's prove that we truly love him!

Show the world that Jesus is Lord!
02/09/2025 If Paul was watching us today, would he say this to us:

2 Thessalonians 1:3 NLT
Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

Sometimes we get involved with day-to-day activities which I feel can slow this down. There is nothing wrong with working but let all of us watch that godly people who see us will quote what Paul wrote in our own lives.

No matter what I do Jesus never leaves me and is patient even if I am slow. There is a discipline in growing your faith and loving one another but we need to push ourselves to be who Jesus wants us to be.

Jesus will always be Lord!
02/08/2025 If you like to be challenged this is the verse for you and probably all of us:

Matthew 5:43-45 NLT
“You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

AND

Luke 6:27 NLT
Love for Enemies
“But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you.

Some people are just difficult to love and I don't think I can love all people equally. But I want you to think about the word "hate". At least get rid of any hatred you have for people. Hatred does not allow for forgiveness to take place. This is what happens:

Matthew 6:14-15 NLT
14 “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. 15 But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

I have noticed that when people hate they will always demonstrate some form of anger. This is what Paul said about that:

Ephesians 4:26-27 NLT
26 And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 for anger gives a foothold to the devil.

Removing hate from your life will prevent bad things from happening in your own life. You will now find it easier to forgive forgive. Through the power of prayer we can change our enemies to give their hearts to Jesus Christ. We are asked to love them to conquer hatred which only leads to our own destruction.

Jesus talks about our enemies who have rejected him. There is judgement against some now:

Matthew 18:6 NLT
But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Again this is to be left in the hands of our Lord. We know that he is just and will handle it on his terms.

Even our own constitution has things written in it that requires the execution of the enemies of America but as individuals we may not know all the facts and do not have the power to make this call on our own. We need to believe that they may still repent and to pray for even these people even if they look bad. Who knows how many of us were like our enemies at one time and Jesus put their names in the Lambs Book of Life. Jesus rates all sin equally except against the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is Lord!
02/01/2025 I loved it how the disciples were with each other and Jesus for a long time together but yet Thomas could not trust them. Even Jesus told everyone what would happen to his life and they struggled to believe.

John 20:24-29 NLT
Jesus Appears to Thomas

24 One of the twelve disciples, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin), was not with the others when Jesus came. 25 They told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

26 Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. “Peace be with you,” he said. 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”

28 “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

29 Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”

Jesus had nothing to prove but he made a special trip for Thomas just so that he would believe. Sometimes we all need to be shown physical things to strengthen our faith and to believe. But Jesus also said, "Blessed are those who believe without seeing me."

Thank you Lord for being there or even physically doing things to prove yourself when we doubt. Give us the wisdom to help those who may doubt to help them get back on track trusting you. Amen
01/14/2025 I sometimes see the coexist stickers on cars. We may think allowing this is showing love but it greatly angers our God. Remember that our God never changes ever.

Exodus 23:13 NLT
13 "Pay close attention to all my instructions. You must not call on the name of any other gods. Do not even speak their names.

Exodus 23:32 NLT
32 "Make no treaties with them or their gods. 33 They must not live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me. If you serve their gods, you will be caught in the trap of idolatry.

We are never to support or give the time of day to any god other then Yahweh and Jesus Christ. Unless mandated by our King we do not persecute those other religions like they would do to us. We serve a King who loves and we need to use love the way our King does to counter the false gods.

I believe that "One nation under God" is too cheap because each person may have a different god. It needs to be "One nation under Jesus Christ" so there is no misunderstanding of who is the real King is.
01/08/2025 It is not too late to recover America from the enemy because a lot of this has been going on:

2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT
14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

God confirms the same sentiment here too:

Amos 5:14-15 NLT
Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed. Hate evil and love what is good; turn your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will have mercy on the remnant of his people.

Let's give a good Amen here. I want our country back to being "One Nation Under Jesus Christ"
01/04/2025 I really had an interesting conversation with my nephew as I drove him to the Denver airport. We were catching up a lot of things and he was asking us a lot of questions. My nephew had good ice breaker questions. They were questions like "What was the worst thing that somebody gave you?" I would give an answer then he would answer. The last question he asked, "What was the best free thing that you ever received?" I immediately began strolling through my past trying to think of anything that I got to free and totally cool. Then I remembered that my dad gave me a 2019 King Ranch F150 pickup a couple of years ago. We happened to be driving the same vehicle to the airport. I then ask him the same question.

He did not have to think long and he replied, "Jesus Christ". I paused a moment to think but he was right. Salvation is a free gift from the lord and it's the only thing that's capable of getting us into the Kingdom of Heaven. Even though my pickup truck is cool and can get from point A to point B in style. The problem is the kingdom of heaven is not anywhere between those points. The is no better answer to that question than "Jesus Christ"

Jesus may be free to us but he paid a dear price for what he did. No one has graphically depicted what Jesus went through because no one is sadistic enough to do what Satan did to our King. Even after it was all done, Jesus said, "Father, Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." He did all this because he knew one day that I would be born and he wanted to personally invite me in the presence of the Father. It is my choice to freely accept or reject his gift.

If we accept his gift our heart better reflect our choice. Our King will not be deceived! My nephew spent time away from God and Jesus is bring him back home. I don't care that he had spent time in jail, but the fact he was fun to be with and is giving his heart back to Jesus Christ is the only thing important to me. I hope to see him soon even if it is to take him back to the airport.

Jesus "King of kings"
12/04/2024 I think that trusting the Lord is different then waiting on the Lord. You can trust that the Lord is going to accomplish what he says. It is the waiting for it that seems to kill us. The NLT talks about trust:

Isaiah 40:31 NLT
31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

But as for me it is the waiting. The KJV version of this verse was written for me because I do not like to wait:

Isaiah 40:31 KJV
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Jesus is Lord
11/28/2024 I know a lot of us are thankful on this Thanksgiving day but what a challenge this would be:

1 Chronicles 16:8 NLT
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.

This all can start by beginning with one individual. After all Jesus is "The King of kings". Let's do it for him.
11/20/2024 It is getting towards the end of November and the Thanksgiving Holiday is coming. I was curious what the bible has to say about thanksgiving. When you search scriptures there are 32 occurrences in the entire bible. The winners with no surprise to me was when Nehemiah mentioned it (5) times and the Psalms (8) times. David had a thankful heart and God did a miracle for Nehemiah getting that wall up quickly.

Even the word "thanks" is mentioned in Nehemiah (8) times and in Psalm (35) times. These books are again the winners. These are just a few verses I listed:

Psalm 26:6-7 NLT
6 I wash my hands to declare my innocence.
I come to your altar, O Lord,
7 singing a song of thanksgiving
and telling of all your wonders {Brag about our Kings accomplishments in our life}

Psalm 69:30 NLT
Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 100:4 NLT
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.

Do you think maybe David was the apple of God because of his thankful heart? He was not ashamed to glorify the name of God by demonstrating it publicly with praise and song.

For this time of thanksgiving in 2024 lets "Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his church with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name." We all know that God loves a truly thankful heart!

Jesus Christ "The name where all blessings come from!"
11/09/2024 It sure sounds like Jesus Christ is narrating this verse in Isaiah:

Isaiah 1:18 NLT
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.

When our King rose from the dead, he became that filter that displays us pure to the Father exactly how Isaiah described it. He is definitely pure himself:

Daniel 7:9
I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire,

Revelation 1:14 NLT
His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire.

Jesus "King of kings" and "Lord over lords".
11/07/2024 I sure do like hearing this phrase, "President Donald Trump". I dedicate this verse to him because he is doing so many things world wide:

Isaiah 14:26-27 NLT

26 I have a plan for the whole earth,
a hand of judgment upon all the nations.
27 The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken—
who can change his plans?
When his hand is raised,
who can stop him?

Lord, move this man like a freight train so your enemies will be crushed. I know that he loves you but he still needs your protection and enthusiasm to continue the fight. I am sure he likes this Motto for America. "One nation under God serving Jesus Christ".

President Trump you sure have my support!!
11/06/2024 I have noticed how what has happened to us in the last four years has had repercussions on everyone. I do believe that God is removing the fence and is showing small signs of what America is doing to herself by separating from the true God. I firmly believe God is doing this as I write this:

Ephesians 1:9-10 NLT
God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.

No one in our past has ever seen anything like what God is about to do. The people who lived in Acts will say to God that we have never seen anything like this. God will reply, "I am saving the best till last." just a Jesus did with the wine. None of us have any idea what God is about to do. It will be done according to Ephesians 1:9-10.

All I know is that the name of Jesus Christ is going to be exalted during this time. There will probably also be a great falling away when God destroys the fence. As for me "Jesus is Lord" and he will always be "King of Kings" to me.

P.S. I really am getting impatient with God's plan coming together. God is always having to remind me that he wants no one to go to hell. His reason is to give more people time to turn to him and to expose what the enemy is doing to his people. President Trump has been reelected to destroy the enemy for what he has done. God is giving many another chance to repent. True love for people would make us want the same timing God does.
10/30/2024 If you really want to please our King do this:

Romans 12:1 NLT
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Even though praise is amazing this is what our King really wants from us.
10/19/2024 It is getting time to vote, and many Christians will not vote because they find faults in all the candidates and make excuses to not vote. Do they not realize that God used scum bags in scriptures to do amazing things. I know it is work to investigate a candidate but you have to measure the ideas of both and pick the scum bag whose values best represent Gods. Most Christians do not realize this but if you do not vote you endorse that candidate that gets in because you do not care. This is exactly how God sees it. Your vote is very important to him. Please do not waste your vote on the demonic platforms. Our abortion candidates are supporting ungodly ideals. I swear they read the bible and do the opposite. The prolife people's ideas line up with more of what God wants. You should be on their side.

Just as Jesus did, Christians need to get involved in politics because the enemy is heavily involved in politics. South Korea had Christians involved in politics and they have religious freedom today. You can talk about Jesus Christ without much persecution. Jesus said that you will always have some persecution when you live for me.

North Korea did not have any competition from the Christians and the enemy has won there. There is massive persecution against Christians. Why don't you Christians who do not want to get involved in politics go and witness to these people. You will learn really quick why we need to be involved with politics. People need to have freedom to accept Jesus Christ.

The enemy infiltrates us gradually to test the waters. When he discovers that Christians are politically gutless, he introduces more evil at each test. It is amazing how much he has gotten away with because we do not want to be bothered with the things that would honor God.
10/17/2024 I knew the Lord at a fairly young age but when I think back when I was in college that I never really talked to anybody about Jesus Christ. I was more there to get an education so I could get that bigger house or that better muscle car. But God had something to say about my thinking:

Romans 12:2 NLT
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

I do believe that God wants to bless us, and he does not have any problems with us having things. The question is why we want those things. Instead of having a faster car than my neighbor then I think of muscle cars as necessary to take the hole shot between moving cars. I have learned not to be jealous about what others have and be grateful for what I do have. I could easily take everything I give to God and buy any muscle car out there. It is not God's will for me to burn the streets up every weekend. He has shown me how giving to people who are not as fortunate as I am not only changes their lives but restores their faith in God. We have to give glory to God anytime we can. He really likes it when we glorify him in front of people.

Being totally unknown, I have even been called the "Robin Hood of the ghetto". This is definitely a cool title to have just because I am helping God with his desires Those same people are sharing what is going on with their neighbors and they too are asking questions about our King. The love of money prevents the world from investing in people who are in need. Paul talks about this more:

1 Corinthians 1:26-27 NLT
26 Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. 27 Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.

1 Corinthians 1:28
God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.

We do have to read God's word to adjust our thinking. The Holy Spirit can fill the gaps to condition us in godly thinking.
10/13/2024 I am sure grateful that God shares things with people. I am even more grateful when they share things with us what is going on in their own life. They can be real encouraging. I had to put a lot of checkboxes by what this woman was saying. She happened to be in her closet when God gave her this message. God wanted her to share this message with the rest of us.

God knows we're tired and he knows our troubles. He knows what we have been facing and he knows we are just downright over it and exhausted. We are both mentally and physically exhausted. We physically feel like we can sleep for a week. We are so freaking tired right now, but he also knows that we have been having this feeling that something is about to happen. It is going to happen big. God is saying even though you are tired, I know what you're capable of, so you need to keep going right now. I am going to come through but if you give up now and you just say, "I am too tired. I just want to give up." You will not see what is coming up in this season that you're in. Stay strong. It's OK that you are tired. You do not have to move fast. Just move and move closer to me. That is all I want right now.

God is about to make some huge changes in your life and in my life. I had to check a lot of boxes off myself on what she's saying and hearing from God. I believe every word that she said about there are going to be big changes that we are going to see in our lives. The countdown I feel is in days. Let's be like the five maids who had their lamps full.
09/20/2024 I want to dedicate this to President Donald Trump:

Isaiah 41:12-13 NLT
12
You will look in vain
for those who tried to conquer you.
Those who attack you
will come to nothing.
13
For I hold you by your right hand—
I, the Lord your God.
And I say to you,
‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

As Hammon tried to kill Mordeciah, I pray that the tables will turn on Trumps enemies in the same manner.
