06/04/2026 I was reading Psalm 34 from the New Living Translation and it is amazing how David and Paul would always start out like this:
  • 1 I will praise the Lord at all times.
I will constantly speak his praises.
    2 I will boast only in the Lord;
let all who are helpless take heart.
    3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness;
let us exalt his name together.

Paul referenced the church in his writings. The last part of this talks about coming together as a body. The next section talks about our fears and how he comforts us. It also sheds light that we have angels that protect us.
  • 4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.
He freed me from all my fears.
    5 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
    6 In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
he saved me from all my troubles.
    7 For the angel of the Lord is a guard;
he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

Isn't that cool even if we seem to have nothing but troubles as God's children, we have an angel around us. The key is if we "have reverent fear" for the God we serve. This same God gives us everything we need:
  • 8 Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
9 Fear the Lord, you his godly people,
for those who fear him will have all they need.
10 Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,
but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.

Think about this " but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing." Greed will say otherwise but just think about living in America. How many people do NOT have the things that we have. This could be > 80% of the world. We lack "No good thing". This next thing is something that Paul would even say about the proper way to live:
  • 11Come, my children, and listen to me,
and I will teach you to fear the Lord.
12 Does anyone want to live a life
    that is long and prosperous?
13 Then keep your tongue from speaking evil
and your lips from telling lies!
14 Turn away from evil and do good.
Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

Our God never sleeps and is always watching. He does want to help but do we want him. He will turn his face if we have no desire to remove sin in our life:
  • 15 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;
his ears are open to their cries for help.
    16 But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil;
he will erase their memory from the earth.
17 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help.
He rescues them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Maybe it is time we should all take refuge in the Lord:
  • 19 The righteous person faces many troubles,
but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
    20 For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous;
not one of them is broken!

21 Calamity will surely destroy the wicked,
and those who hate the righteous will be punished.
22 But the Lord will redeem those who serve him.
No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned

Lord we pray that this last part will happen to restore justice back in America.

America - One Nation Under Jesus Christ!!!!!!!
05/25/2026 I believe we are living in the Matthew 24:14 timeline:

Matthew 24:14 NLT
14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.

Base on what I hear from God's prophets, God will have to do a bunch of things in the worlds financial systems to destroy those who are apposing the spread of the Gospel. This action will be good for the rest of us. What a spectacle that will be to see God's Glory moving as he gives everyone a last chance to come to him before the Lord returns. This is one thing I would like to be alive to see. I am even anxious to see God's final work blossom in our current ministries. He is doing big things as I write this.

I was reading Psalm 30 and came across these verses:

Psalm 30:8-10 NLT
8 I cried out to you, O Lord.
I begged the Lord for mercy, saying,
9 “What will you gain if I die,
if I sink into the grave?
Can my dust praise you?
Can it tell of your faithfulness?
10 Hear me, Lord, and have mercy on me.
Help me, O Lord.”

God likes it when we remind him of his word. It also proves that you actually opened your bible. I am going to use this so I can be around to witness God's greatest move ever. Just make sure you have been doing these things already. Your heart will reveal if you are serious about this.
05/24/2026 I have talked about parts of this chapter but it would be fun to break it down:

Psalm 26 NLT
1 Declare me innocent, O Lord,
for I have acted with integrity;
I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.

(I do believe that I waver from time to time. Integrity is very important)

2 Put me on trial, Lord, and cross-examine me.
Test my motives and my heart.

(I haven't gotten an A on this one yet but I am getting closer.)

3 For I am always aware of your unfailing love,
and I have lived according to your truth.

(I always seem to have this one mastered. Then there is that one thing that I do that messes this up.)

4 I do not spend time with liars
or go along with hypocrites.

(I definitely do this one. But sometimes I say to much about it. )

5 I hate the gatherings of those who do evil,
and I refuse to join in with the wicked.

(Because of the power of Jesus Christ I do not want to be near this stuff.)

6 I wash my hands to declare my innocence.
I come to your altar, O Lord,

(Because of sin, am I truly innocent? Jesus can make it happen though.)

7 singing a song of thanksgiving
and telling of all your wonders.

(As I age spiritually, this does get stronger and stronger.)

8 I love your sanctuary, Lord,
the place where your glorious presence dwells.

(Nothing is better then going to church where the Holy Spirit resides.)

9 Don’t let me suffer the fate of sinners.
Don’t condemn me along with murderers.

(Jesus Christ makes this possible. He has this one for me.)

10 Their hands are dirty with evil schemes,
and they constantly take bribes.

(I want no part of this either. I do a good job of keeping this one.)

11 But I am not like that; I live with integrity.
So redeem me and show me mercy.

( I believe in living for integrity. But do I have as much integrity as David did?)

12 Now I stand on solid ground,
and I will publicly praise the Lord.

(I do it in church. I am weak in public because of preoccupation.)

The book of Psalm gives you a lot to ponder about.
05/17/2026 I consider myself to be someone who loves people but it seems weak when you read this:

Philippians 2:14-18 NLT
14 Do everything without complaining and arguing,
(Paul gets me on this one. I seem to need to complain once in a while and you have to argue with the lefties. But there lies the danger:)

15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. 16 Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. 17 But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy. 18 Yes, you should rejoice, and I will share your joy.

It sure looks like Paul is looking out for our best interest. He want us all to experience what Jesus has to offer.
05/14/2026 I hear about the forgiveness of sins a lot but never hardly hear about the consequences of sin even if we are forgiven. Here is one example from our God who not only forgave but was in the restoration business. It was costly to some people.

Ezekiel 44:10-14 NLT
10 And the men of the tribe of Levi who abandoned me when Israel strayed away from me to worship idols must bear the consequences of their unfaithfulness. 11 They may still be Temple guards and gatekeepers, and they may slaughter the animals brought for burnt offerings and be present to help the people. 12 But they encouraged my people to worship idols, causing Israel to fall into deep sin. So I have taken a solemn oath that they must bear the consequences for their sins, says the Sovereign Lord. 13 They may not approach me to minister as priests. They may not touch any of my holy things or the holy offerings, for they must bear the shame of all the detestable sins they have committed. 14 They are to serve as the Temple caretakers, taking charge of the maintenance work and performing general duties.

Even though these next men may not be perfect but they continued to obey God. God had this to say:

Ezekiel 44:15-16
15 “However, the Levitical priests of the family of Zadok continued to minister faithfully in the Temple when Israel abandoned me for idols. These men will serve as my ministers. They will stand in my presence and offer the fat and blood of the sacrifices, says the Sovereign Lord. 16 They alone will enter my sanctuary and approach my table to serve me. They will fulfill all my requirements.

As sins can be forgiven, the consequences can mean jail, destroyed relationships, and trust. This is why Paul always talks about living like Jesus to avoid all of this despair. Is one moment of pleasure worth a long time of regret? I remember one couple who prayed that their children would be caught trying to sin in school. Those kids soon learned that they would be caught and disciplined for their actions and quit getting into trouble. As Gods children we should know to that we will be caught also. God want to restore us not destroy us. We also have free will to do what we want. The famous saying is "Chose wisely" before you do anything.
05/03/2026 I really believe the most dangerous words we can say is "I did this". Pharaoh took credit for what God did and he got a reaction from the God of the universe:

Ezekiel 29:3 NLT
3 Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord:

“I am your enemy, O Pharaoh, king of Egypt—
you great monster, lurking in the streams of the Nile.
For you have said, ‘The Nile River is mine;
I made it for myself.’

God was about to destroy Egypt because of the foolish words one man spoke:

Ezekiel 29:8-12 NLT
8 “Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring an army against you, O Egypt, and destroy both people and animals. 9 The land of Egypt will become a desolate wasteland, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.

“Because you said, ‘The Nile River is mine; I made it,’ 10 I am now the enemy of both you and your river. I will make the land of Egypt a totally desolate wasteland, from Migdol to Aswan, as far south as the border of Ethiopia. 11 For forty years not a soul will pass that way, neither people nor animals. It will be completely uninhabited. 12 I will make Egypt desolate, and it will be surrounded by other desolate nations. Its cities will be empty and desolate for forty years, surrounded by other ruined cities. I will scatter the Egyptians to distant lands.

God then explains how he is going to do it. Pay attention because King Nebuchadnezzar was on God's payroll:

Ezekiel 29:18-20 NLT
18 “Son of man, the army of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon fought so hard against Tyre that the warriors’ heads were rubbed bare and their shoulders were raw and blistered. Yet Nebuchadnezzar and his army won no plunder to compensate them for all their work. 19 Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. He will carry off its wealth, plundering everything it has so he can pay his army. 20 Yes, I have given him the land of Egypt as a reward for his work, says the Sovereign Lord, because he was working for me when he destroyed Tyre.

Our God is also a God of restoration but there are consequences.

Ezekiel 29:13-16 NLT
13 “But this is what the Sovereign Lord also says: At the end of the forty years I will bring the Egyptians home again from the nations to which they have been scattered. 14 I will restore the prosperity of Egypt and bring its people back to the land of Pathros in southern Egypt from which they came. But Egypt will remain an unimportant, minor kingdom. 15 It will be the lowliest of all the nations, never again great enough to rise above its neighbors.

16 “Then Israel will no longer be tempted to trust in Egypt for help. Egypt’s shattered condition will remind Israel of how sinful she was to trust Egypt in earlier days. Then Israel will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.”

You do not hear about Egypt much in the news today just because of the words our God spoke over her. If you want destruction in your own life just take credit for the things that God does in your life. How many of us have solved problem just because God implanted a thought in our brains? Those same thoughts may keep us from going to a place that would harm us. We will never know fully what our God does in our life. To be safe we should always confess "God and I did this together. He gave me the talent and wisdom to accomplish this."

Never think of yourself as great, King Nebuchadnezzar took credit for being a God and he was forced to graze in the pastures for seven years until he realized his place in relation to God. Eventually he too lost his kingdom. Maybe this is why Paul talks about being humble. He wants to protect us from all of this.
04/29/2026 I was reading this from Paul and he mentioned some things I have been guilty of:

Philippians 2:3-4 NLT
3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

1. I have been at a buffet and I have to admit that I have left the burnt or dried out stuff for someone else.

2. Maybe I am only partially humble. When I do something it is tempting to be the best. I do realize that 20% are better then I am at anything. The rest do not have a chance. I hear about the cool things about the people involved in our ministry. Whether it is a patrolman's skill doing a pit maneuver, firefighters saving property and lives, swats perfection in handling a rifle, or a college student getting A's when the rest have difficulty getting a C. Some of you are exceptional in your field and I love it. The odds are those around you know it too. What is important is not to develop ones ego but use your talent to help those around you get better at the same skills you have mastered. I think that is what Paul wants us to do.

3. The last one can be more difficult. My interests lie in whether it can do 0-60 in 3 seconds. My computers have to be in the same league. So I have a tendency to not be interested in slow things. Maybe it is because I am slow. One thing that we have in common is the love of talking about Jesus. I love to hear the stories of what Jesus does in peoples lives. It is easy to talk about the Lord for half an hour because he is interesting. As he transforms one's life, all the sudden our interests start to align more and more.

Some of the things you miss by not taking an interest in people are classmates who lived nearby and give their hearts to Jesus. After he passed away, I found out he like to do what I do and he Loved Jesus. This was an opportunity I missed. Another is a cool couple who grew up with me. Because I was into my thing, I did not know about their daughter in law keeping their son and grandchildren away from them. They have no access to their children at all. This is something I should have been praying for and I am praying for now. They need to see the kids. Paul wants us to be here for people, to either pray for them or encourage them. He does not want us to always be distracted by our interests.
04/24/2026 I have been reading Ezekiel and it proves sins have consequences. But why do we seem to fall into this trap. I think I know why?

I use GPS on the farm to run tractors to save fuel and stress. We sometimes use a cheaper version of GPS that works fine. It appears to be doing its job with driving straight and minimal overlap. The GPS satellites are always moving and this causes minor errors in the navigation that you do not notice. They continue to get worse as time goes on. That line is gradually moving. The more pricey service we use to. It uses the position of a fixed object, the cell towers, to make sure this line is not moving. I could start anywhere in the field with this service and never overlap. I get into major problems if I start in the middle of the field with the free service.

In our lives, we are too often on the free service the devil offers. Everything appears to work great while we are slowly drifting away from the path God put us on. God's service is more work then the devils but his written word which when accessed frequently tells us when we are drifting so we can make adjustments to our course in life. Ezekiel is proof of what happens to people when we drift so far from the path God put us on. Jesus knew exactly why it happened:

Luke 8:12 NIV
Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

Our souls, just like my tractors need a reference point to stay precise. My tractor needs a cell tower. You and I need the "Word of God". Let's supercharge God's word by getting the Holy Spirit involved too. Let's keep sin from doing this to us:

Ezekiel 14:21-23 NIV
21 “For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments—sword and famine and wild beasts and plague—to kill its men and their animals! 22 Yet there will be some survivors—sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought on Jerusalem—every disaster I have brought on it. 23 You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

I believe God has good plans for America now. But how close are God's feelings to those when Ezekiel was his prophet. Let's live for God to make sure this does not happen to us.
04/21/2026 I believe that most of us are looking forward to the return of Jesus. Because Paul loved people and he loved doing what Jesus called him to do, he was torn between desires:

Philippians 1:20-24 NLT
Paul’s Life for Christ
20 For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. 21 For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. 22 But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better. 23 I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. 24 But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.

I have no idea on how many people will go to hell when Jesus comes for us. As long as we are still here, they still have a chance to be saved. You really have to love people a lot to give up the chance of going with Jesus to bring more souls into the Kingdom of Heaven. Paul even does this with chains on:

Philippians 1:13-14 NLT
13 For everyone here, including the whole palace guard, knows that I am in chains because of Christ. 14 And because of my imprisonment, most of the believers here have gained confidence and boldly speak God’s message without fear.

Jesus will return when our Father says so. Lets take advantage of this time to continue to bring souls into the Kingdom of Heaven until his official return. The end is closer then ever and because of this we need to assume time is running out to bring people into the fold. Even if I am wrong, just look at how many people will have heard the message of Christ because you continued to speak to people about Jesus. I would call that a win for God!
03/30/2026 Isn't it interesting how God gets blamed for everything. The enemy seems to never get blamed for anything and he is usually the cause of most bad things. I am not sure if I want God to brag on me like he did Job to Satan. He could allow the devil to test me like he did Job. The question is how I would handle it? I wonder how many times the devil makes attempts to allow God to test us like Job? Jesus brought up one of these times:

Luke 22:31 NLT
Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial
“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat.

Job had know idea he was being tested. Neither did his so called friends. They blamed everything on the sin in his life. God only does these bad things if you are evil. The motto here is if you do not know if someone is being tested, you either keep your mouth shut or ask if you can help in some way. You have no idea what God may be doing in that person's life and you may ruin everything.

Job at first did a good job not blaming God:

Job 2:9-10
His wife said to him, “Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.”

But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.

As disease prolonged itself, Job began to wear down:

Job 6:4 NLT
For the Almighty has struck me down with his arrows. Their poison infects my spirit. God’s terrors are lined up against me

Then Job starts blaming God for what the enemy is doing to him:

Job 9:28
I would still dread all the pain, for I know you will not find me innocent, O God.

Job 16:7
“O God, you have ground me down and devastated my family.

Job 16:9
God hates me and angrily tears me apart. He snaps his teeth at me and pierces me with his eyes.

Job 16:11
God has handed me over to sinners. He has tossed me into the hands of the wicked.

Job 19:22
Must you also persecute me, like God does? Haven’t you chewed me up enough?

Job never lost his reverence to God

Job 16:20
My friends scorn me, but I pour out my tears to God.

Job would have done so much better if he had friends and family that stood by him. Negativity is a life breaker. With encouragement, he would not have been so down on things. God is about to remind Job about all the things that he is.

The true measure of love is given by those who stand with you when you are being tested. We all can pray that the testing will be over soon but actions of helping out are needed right now. We all have the power to encourage or discourage. What would Jesus do?

Oh yeah, let's start blaming the devil instead of God when things go wrong. It is true that God can stop anything but "free will" prevents God from treating us like a robot. Prayer and fulfilling Gods dreams are the only things that help shield us from the enemy. Paul survived a shipwreck and a poisonous snake because it was Gods dream to send him to Rome.

When we pass a test, God can make thing even better then it was before the test. Job experienced it and so can you.
03/25/2026 If you are like me I like it when things go smooth. This verse does not meet my requirements:

Philippians 1:29 NLT
For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him.

Even Jesus prefers to not go through suffering:

Mark 14:36 NLT
“Abba, Father,” he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

He accepted that suffering and change the world for you and I.

If you think about what Paul is saying that it sends a message, "We have been called by the Lord to be his. We love him and have given our lives to him. The enemy causes suffering because he hates anything God loves. He goes after those who exalt the name of the Lord the most because he goal is to make you stop. The enemies suffering can be a gauge on the Kings approval level. It is true that when we are ineffective for the Lord that the enemy leaves us alone. People who we should be talking to go to hell and even our own salvation may be at risk."

Paul says this:

Romans 8:17 NLT
And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

Sin brings on suffering for even the ungodly. This type of suffering is not fun either. This suffering does not please God in anyway and is not a way to store treasure in the Kingdom of God. Suffering created by the enemy does create treasure because you are doing something for the Lord that is making him angry. Look at like this, your suffering is "profit taking" in the Kingdom of God because you are serving the Lord.
03/21/2026 It was a beautiful spring morning and I looked up into the sky and noticed all of the jets spraying chemicals in the air. They say it is just weather modification, but I do know that they are spraying barium and aluminum in the sky. These are all toxic to breathe. As I was thinking about how they are trying to poison us, God gave me this word, "You and the people in the ghetto have been praying Psalm 91 over your life. Don't you realize that Psalm 91 can even protect you from those chemicals that are being sprayed on you."

I begin to realize that I have been putting limitations on God again. I firmly believe that if you were forced to take the vaccine or even drinking the poisonous fluoride they put in our water, that Psalm 91 is powerful enough to overcome these two things too. If you think fluoride is safe, just remember this: It is a 30 year federal prison sentence for dumping fluoride in the water and look at the warning label on the tooth paste. Long ago, I put a tiny amount of sodium fluoride in peanut butter and placed it on the ground. It would kill all the black birds that were crapping in the cattle's feed bunk. It is so deadly that even our Kitty cat tried to eat some of the peanut butter too and died instantly. We loved our cats too much and had to quit doing that. What good are strong teeth when fluoride affects your body negatively?

Make sure you audibly declare Psalm 91 over you and your family. If you are living for God, it will protect you too. Continue to learn what people are trying to do to harm us but sometimes we just have to give it to God. My buddy and I never became sick once this winter and that was due to the power of God's word. It only gets better as more people cover you with the power of this chapter. My buddy and I are truly thankful to those who covered us with the power of God's word?
03/20/2026 I do have to admit I am not the sensitive type and I sometimes miss those burdens that are going on in other peoples lives. Many times those people just need some encouragement that we can give. Paul had a story about another person changing his life:

2 Corinthians 7:5-7 NLT
5 When we arrived in Macedonia, there was no rest for us. We faced conflict from every direction, with battles on the outside and fear on the inside. 6 But God, who encourages those who are discouraged, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus. 7 His presence was a joy, but so was the news he brought of the encouragement he received from you. When he told us how much you long to see me, and how sorry you are for what happened, and how loyal you are to me, I was filled with joy!

Let's be a Titus to God's children. We too can make the same difference that Titus did to Paul. I know some of you are doing that now. I bet those people appreciate you for doing this. Let's all look towards encouraging other people.
03/17/2026 I have watched how people who trust other people will want them to work for them to make their own life better. The question is, "Do I put the same trust in God believing that he will also improve our lives by turning things over to him?"

Romans 15:13 (New Living Translation)
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
03/16/2026 I believe that they are right when they say Jesus is coming back soon. I also believe there is no better time to talk to people about Jesus then now:

2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT
For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

If Paul could have done bold print in his letter, he would emphasize what I did.
03/15/2026 It is spring and it feels good to go out into the sunshine and get some fresh air. The warmth of the sunshine feels good on the skin. We feel refreshed, and when we go back inside we don't think much more about it. Our sun, when we expose ourselves to it, we experienced something that we don't notice. Our skin picks up the rays of the sun. Those rays give us vitamin D, increase our bone density and strengthens our immune system. I have been exposed to many sources of light but none do what our God created sun does. Those who sell sunscreen will tell you that no exposure to the sun is what is good for you.

Just as the light of our sun changes our physical lives, there is a light that shines in the spiritual side that also changes our lives. We we have a spiritual light that does the same thing. He is called the light of the world.

John 8:12
Jesus, the Light of the World
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

You are right that Jesus is in heaven but they say Jesus is God and Hebrews says this:

Hebrews 4:12 NLT
12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

Sometimes we read God's word and we may not understand what we are reading now but we are exposing ourselves to something that is alive and it is changing our lives even though we do not realize it now. Those people who are in God's word a lot can confirm this is the case, but in time it all begins to be revealed. That is why persistence matters when it comes to God's written word. All other literature is dead. God's written word is the only thing that grows our spiritual lives like the sun that helps heal our physical bodies.

Proverbs 30:5 NLT
Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.
03/11/2026 It amazing how much Christians fail in understanding God's word. We know the biggest one is:

Matthew 7:1-2 NLT
Do Not Judge Others
7 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

Paul commands us to judge those in the church and remove those who abuse the grace of Jesus Christ. The next one they like to twist is:

1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

They substitute the word "problem" in place of "temptation". Again Paul proves us wrong again about our problems:

2 Corinthians 1:8-10 NLT
8 We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. 9 In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. 10 And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.

Paul said, "I cannot do it without God". God lets us get overwhelmed because he desires us to come to him. Think about this. Maybe, if we come to God earlier before the crapola hits the fan, that the situation may not get so far out of control. For us guys, it is still manly for God to help us out of a situation. He wants to do it again and again. God never gets tired but he wants us to learn something from every challenge we face. Jesus says:

Matthew 11:28-30
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

With Jesus, there is always a happy ending!
03/09/2026 I have been watching what has been going on in Iran. I noticed that the women were anxious to shed their burkas. Those things had to be extremely uncomfortable in the summer. Their expressions on their faces were like they were just released from prison. I am glad the women in this country do not have to cover up like this. After all why should our women be uncomfortable. I would never want to cover up like that unless it was below zero outside. Paul did have dress codes for women discussed in 1 Corinthians 11:

I have never had anyone challenge how things are done today. I see women praying in public and teaching about God. I sense that God is pleased with our women. I think it is cool also. Just like men, women have to watch things that can make them fall into sin. I feel that as men we have not handled our roles of being a godly man like God wants us to be. He has been forced to elevate women into roles that men should be doing. I have seen that women are capable of showing us up.

Now check this verse out:

1 Corinthians 11:14-15 NIV
14 Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering.

Verse 14 talks about long hair for men as being a disgrace. Jesus was a Nazarene and the men had long hair. I doubt if Jesus was embarrassed with his hair. Paul in Verse 15 talks about her long hair as a physical covering of her head. I thought that Paul meant she had to have a towel over her head to be covered. You ladies just keep that beautiful long hair so that you stay covered.

This comment may not change your world but it is interesting to see how today compares with then. I do think it is still a good idea for guys not to wear hats in church. In the end, God is more interested in what is in our hearts then what we wear. Oh yeah, we are going to church not a strip club.
03/04/2026 If we are living for Jesus Christ it is hard to imagine that anything like this would ever happen:

1 Corinthians 6:1-8 NLT
Avoiding Lawsuits with Christians
6 When one of you has a dispute with another believer, how dare you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter instead of taking it to other believers! 2 Don’t you realize that someday we believers will judge the world? And since you are going to judge the world, can’t you decide even these little things among yourselves? 3 Don’t you realize that we will judge angels? So you should surely be able to resolve ordinary disputes in this life. 4 If you have legal disputes about such matters, why go to outside judges who are not respected by the church? 5 I am saying this to shame you. Isn’t there anyone in all the church who is wise enough to decide these issues? 6 But instead, one believer sues another—right in front of unbelievers!

7 Even to have such lawsuits with one another is a defeat for you. Why not just accept the injustice and leave it at that? Why not let yourselves be cheated? 8 Instead, you yourselves are the ones who do wrong and cheat even your fellow believers.

As believers we should know better, Paul leaves us with this message:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NLT
9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

It is never to late to repent to get back on track but change needs to occur or our repentance is phony.

1 Corinthians 6:11 NLT
11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
03/03/2026 I used to think President Trump was just a great president. But after watching the media, the FBI, and the entire system unite against one man...

I realized something:
You do not get attacked like that unless you are a threat to them. That is when I discovered he is the greatest President of all time.

Another thing that makes him cool he is not afraid to mention the name of Jesus Christ in front of people.

Lord, I ask you to give President Trump and those under him the wisdom to conquer this Iran deal and that the devil is defeated because of what he is doing to the country of Iran. We wouldn't be disappointed if you give our military favor at removing the enemy too. Protect the lives and equipment of those who serve this great country. We understand that those in our services put the word "Free" in freedom

Jesus Christ - Commander & Chief

Joshua 1:9 NLT
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
