03/04/2026 If we are living for Jesus Christ it is hard to imagine that anything like this would ever happen:

1 Corinthians 6:1-8 NLT
Avoiding Lawsuits with Christians
6 When one of you has a dispute with another believer, how dare you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter instead of taking it to other believers! 2 Don’t you realize that someday we believers will judge the world? And since you are going to judge the world, can’t you decide even these little things among yourselves? 3 Don’t you realize that we will judge angels? So you should surely be able to resolve ordinary disputes in this life. 4 If you have legal disputes about such matters, why go to outside judges who are not respected by the church? 5 I am saying this to shame you. Isn’t there anyone in all the church who is wise enough to decide these issues? 6 But instead, one believer sues another—right in front of unbelievers!

7 Even to have such lawsuits with one another is a defeat for you. Why not just accept the injustice and leave it at that? Why not let yourselves be cheated? 8 Instead, you yourselves are the ones who do wrong and cheat even your fellow believers.

As believers we should know better, Paul leaves us with this message:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NLT
9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

It is never to late to repent to get back on track but change needs to occur or our repentance is phony.

1 Corinthians 6:11 NLT
11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
03/03/2026 I used to think President Trump was just a great president. But after watching the media, the FBI, and the entire system unite against one man...

I realized something:
You do not get attacked like that unless you are a threat to them. That is when I discovered he is the greatest President of all time.

Another thing that makes him cool he is not afraid to mention the name of Jesus Christ in front of people.

Lord, I ask you to give President Trump and those under him the wisdom to conquer this Iran deal and that the devil is defeated because of what he is doing to the country of Iran. We wouldn't be disappointed if you give our military favor at removing the enemy too. Protect the lives and equipment of those who serve this great country. We understand that those in our services put the word "Free" in freedom

Jesus Christ - Commander & Chief

Joshua 1:9 NLT
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
03/02/2026 I listened to a pastor today talking about Proverbs 5. This is about a father talking to his son about woman. Women can either ruin your life forever or be your greatest honor if you do it right. Even though promiscuous women exits today, the greatest threat to a great relationship is pornography. Satan hates the family and pastor's who represent God and tries to entrap them into pornography and anyone else that he can snare. The addiction to pornography degrades the woman you supposedly have given your life to. The last verses in chapter 5 talks about the danger of these addictions.

Proverbs 5:21-23 NLT
21 For the Lord sees clearly what a man does,
examining every path he takes.
22 An evil man is held captive by his own sins;
they are ropes that catch and hold him.
23 He will die for lack of self-control;
he will be lost because of his great foolishness.

It is time to remove any addictions from our lives that are holding us back from being what Jesus Christ calls us to be. If you are like me, I do enough stupid things already. I do not need sins that me make me look even more stupid.

This pastor I listened to conquered his addiction to pornography through Jesus Christ. Jesus can conquer any addiction in our lives if we really want to give them up. That is the question!
02/27/2026 I have watched people come to church for a few weeks then all of the sudden they are gone. When I ask them about missing them, they usually reply, "The church did not fit my needs." Isn't this reverse thinking? We should be asking, "What can I do to fill the need of this church?" Paul talks about people joining skills to enhance the churches of Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 4:15-16 NLT
15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

When you are part of an active church, do what Paul says:

1 Corinthians 1:10-13 NLT
Divisions in the Church
10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. 11 For some members of Chloe’s household have told me about your quarrels, my dear brothers and sisters. 12 Some of you are saying, “I am a follower of Paul.” Others are saying, “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Peter,” or “I follow only Christ.”

13 Has Christ been divided into factions? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul? Of course not!

Each church should have these common interests:
1. Speak God's word. No sugar coating allowed.
2. Honor the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Love people and share the gospel with the world and the people who come into the church.
4. Stand up against evil even if it is at the ballot box. Let the Holy Spirit come into every service. He is a sign that the truth is being taught and the name of Jesus is being honored in the worship.

If a church cannot do these things, I would leave them to God's judgement. Remember that "Jesus is Lord" and should be the head of every body of believers. Always ask, "Jesus, what can I do here to best serve you."
02/16/2026 I was reading about King Jehoshaphat and all the good things he was doing for the Lord. When we live our lives for Jesus we need to focus on who we associate with while we walk with him. King Jehoshaphat did not think about this:

2 Chronicles 20:35-37 NLT
35 Some time later King Jehoshaphat of Judah made an alliance with King Ahaziah of Israel, who was very wicked. 36 Together they built a fleet of trading ships at the port of Ezion-geber. 37 Then Eliezer son of Dodavahu from Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat. He said, “Because you have allied yourself with King Ahaziah, the Lord will destroy your work.” So the ships met with disaster and never put out to sea.

When you ally yourself with evil people your good intentions can end in disaster. Your hard work may go up in smoke. Paul even warns us about this:

Ephesians 5:11 NLT
Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 NLT
Stay away from every kind of evil.

I myself like what AI can do and have used it but I also realize it has the power to take God out of the equation. I am turning down the income potential of AI to not be part of something that will never glorify the name of our King. I also believe there are evil men who are helping develop it. Honoring God is the last thing on their mind. What is even more scary if it will be used to persecute Christians in the near future.
02/07/2026 If someone asked for a single word to describe Romans 8:28, what would that be? Many would probably say "good". They would be right but there are three other words that are more important: "love", "called", and "purpose".

Romans 8:28 NLT
28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Jonah is a good example of everything not being good when he opposed his purpose:

Jonah 1:1-3 NLT
Jonah Runs from the Lord
1 The Lord gave this message to Jonah son of Amittai: 2 “Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh. Announce my judgment against it because I have seen how wicked its people are.”

3 But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the Lord. He went down to the port of Joppa, where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish. He bought a ticket and went on board, hoping to escape from the Lord by sailing to Tarshish.

It is tough to run from an omnipresent God. Jonah was about to find out that his world was about to collapse. When we go against God's will, destruction can come against people around us. Even the dice were against Jonah:

Jonah 1:4-16 NLT
4 But the Lord hurled a powerful wind over the sea, causing a violent storm that threatened to break the ship apart. 5 Fearing for their lives, the desperate sailors shouted to their gods for help and threw the cargo overboard to lighten the ship.

But all this time Jonah was sound asleep down in the hold. 6 So the captain went down after him. “How can you sleep at a time like this?” he shouted. “Get up and pray to your god! Maybe he will pay attention to us and spare our lives.”

7 Then the crew cast lots to see which of them had offended the gods and caused the terrible storm. When they did this, the lots identified Jonah as the culprit. 8 “Why has this awful storm come down on us?” they demanded. “Who are you? What is your line of work? What country are you from? What is your nationality?”

9 Jonah answered, “I am a Hebrew, and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land.”

10 The sailors were terrified when they heard this, for he had already told them he was running away from the Lord. “Oh, why did you do it?” they groaned. 11 And since the storm was getting worse all the time, they asked him, “What should we do to you to stop this storm?”

12 “Throw me into the sea,” Jonah said, “and it will become calm again. I know that this terrible storm is all my fault.”

13 Instead, the sailors rowed even harder to get the ship to the land. But the stormy sea was too violent for them, and they couldn’t make it. 14 Then they cried out to the Lord, Jonah’s God. “O Lord,” they pleaded, “don’t make us die for this man’s sin. And don’t hold us responsible for his death. O Lord, you have sent this storm upon him for your own good reasons.”

15 Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea, and the storm stopped at once! 16 The sailors were awestruck by the Lord’s great power, and they offered him a sacrifice and vowed to serve him.

The one good thing is the fact the sailors had a chance to witness the power of God and began to serve him but it still is not good for Jonah.

Jonah 1:17 NLT
17 Now the Lord had arranged for a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was inside the fish for three days and three nights.

Jonah began to have a change of heart and began praying to God to fix his life. God answered his prayer and had the fish puke him on a beach.

Some people think it was a whale but envision what fish do and what God was doing at the same time.

1. They swim underwater and if the fish would open its mouth, water would come in and Jonah would drown.

2. Whales can dive 1000 ft. The pressure would have killed Jonah.

3. There is this thing called digestion. Jonah was not digested.

4. The fish did not puke him in open water but placed Jonah on a beach.

God did not give up on Jonah but Jonah had to endure painful things to get in tune with what God wanted. Jonah is fortunate because God could have rejected him. Good things do not happen when God rejects us. If we want to see good things happen we have to have "who love God and are called according to his purpose".
01/27/2026 I am thankful that President Trump has built up our military because of what I have seen in Iran and Venezuela. Our officers have been giving orders to not only to win the battles but to keep our troops safe. Have you ever wonder what would happen if that communication would break down between the troops and the officers? It would be like separating ourselves from Jesus our Commander & Chief. We need his instruction to win:

Ephesians 6:12-13 NLT
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

Prayer is the most important piece of armor we seem to leave out many times. It starts the line of communication with our King. We have to believe that he will answer. We have the equipment to fight but have no idea what is going on around us. A good leader like Jesus will organize us and give us instruction on how to win the battle. The Holy Spirit is our line of communication between Jesus and his troops. Let's receive his intel on the situation. If we do, we will "be standing firm" in the end.
01/24/2026 Isn't it interesting how scripture can explain scripture. When Jesus said, "

Matthew 7:1-2 NLT
Do Not Judge Others
7 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.
"

Paul really puts it into detail what Jesus meant:

Romans 2:1-4 NLT
God’s Judgment of Sin
2 You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. 2 And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. 3 Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? 4 Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

The next verses really makes people think about their salvation:

Matthew 7:21-23 NLT
True Disciples
21 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. 22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

Paul goes into more detail on what Jesus said, explaining what in means to be fake:

Romans 2:17-24,29 NLT
The Jews and the Law
17 You who call yourselves Jews are relying on God’s law, and you boast about your special relationship with him. 18 You know what he wants; you know what is right because you have been taught his law. 19 You are convinced that you are a guide for the blind and a light for people who are lost in darkness. 20 You think you can instruct the ignorant and teach children the ways of God. For you are certain that God’s law gives you complete knowledge and truth.

21 Well then, if you teach others, why don’t you teach yourself? You tell others not to steal, but do you steal? 22 You say it is wrong to commit adultery, but do you commit adultery? You condemn idolatry, but do you use items stolen from pagan temples? 23 You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it. 24 No wonder the Scriptures say, “The Gentiles blaspheme the name of God because of you.”

29 No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.

These are just two things that God showed me while I was reading Romans 2. I bet you know of more places where scripture explains scripture. It is fun when one can discover it.
01/18/2026 It is great to do the things God wants us to do and not be deceived by the plans of the enemy. He notices it when we do:

Revelation 2:2-3 NLT
2 “I know all the things you do. I have seen your hard work and your patient endurance. I know you don’t tolerate evil people. You have examined the claims of those who say they are apostles but are not. You have discovered they are liars. 3 You have patiently suffered for me without quitting.

The problem is when it becomes a routine. Our hearts may begin to drift in other directions. I have experienced this thing that does not please God, myself:

Revelation 2:4-5 NLT
4 “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first! 5 Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches.

Could you imagine a church full of people losing interest in Jesus? Someone new coming to your church would see distracted people who do not have fire in their own lives for our Lord. We are representing Christ to the world. Let's be proud of him and show it by our actions.

Watch for the signs that you may be losing interest in our King:
When you get up each morning are hoping to see someone to talk about the Lord with? When you are talking with other people do you avoid talking about him? If they start talking about the Lord first, are you excited to join them with what God has been doing in your own life. When you see another brother or sister, are you smiling and willing to say a few words with them even if you are extremely busy.

Why do we lose interest in our Lord in the first place? Is it because we have worldly interests that are removing our Lord off of the throne? It is an insult to give your life up for someone and they show no interest. We can even chase people away from our Lord when they see how little interest we have in him. God knows this and he will remove us from our place to prevent us from turning people away from him. Pray and I bet you that the Holy Spirit can show you what is quenching your fire now and relight that fire back to the way it was.

Jesus is Lord!!!!!!! Let our emotions show that he lives!
01/12/2026 I have a laser printer that from time to time calibrates itself. It wants to make sure that everything is aligned properly, so that it prints the way it's supposed to. Windows has tools to make sure that it's operating system is working and functioning properly. From the Run Command you can type in "sigverif" and see if there are any unsigned files or drivers that may cause a future problem. Clicking "advanced" will print me a log file to examine. If you want the see how windows handles "hardware & devices", you can type in "msdt.exe -id devicediagnostic" to see if any problems may occur there. Everything may be running on your computer fine now, but you want to ask questions before everything crashes in the future.

As humans we do not have software or any calibration devices to keep us on track. We need to know what "drivers" are driving our life. It is easier to update the offending driver while things are appearing to be great. The driver "spiritual" conflicts with the driver "worldly". Talking about something that will cause our "operating system" to crash when these two drivers meet.

Our life may be full of blessings bestowed to us by our King. We need to understand what may drive a wedge between God and the life we are living. We do have a method of diagnosing our lives and it is called "Godware". David discovered this many years ago and it is activated by speaking to our creator who designed our operating system:

Psalm 139:23-24 NLT
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Just as Windows give me a report, God will give you one too. The question is "Will I act on what his report says about me?" The Holy Spirit has a patch for the driver "worldly". He will make the driver "worldly" compatible with Jesus and make it work in harmony with the driver "spiritual". God is patiently waiting for us to "ASK". He wants to hear our voice.

I am amazed on how many people reference this verse, Psalm 139:23-24. I have used it twice already myself. No matter what angle you come from, it all leads back to this verse.
01/05/2026 I was challenged to write down the importance of God in my life compared to the other things that happen in my life. I wrote down

1. God
2. Family
3 Work
4. Hobbies & Entertainment.

Then I was challenged to write down the time spent on each one. I began to realize that maybe God is not really that important to me. God is pleased when you work honorably and spend time with your family. This is especially true when you talk about Jesus and pray while you are doing these things.

It becomes dangerous if we work all the time to get rich or use our kid's activities as an excuse to not go to church to worship. It even becomes worse when our fun times are exponentially greater then our time with God. Jesus said,

Matthew 6:21 NLT
Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

God has nothing against the things I listed, but am I going to abuse the things I listed to separate myself from God. God will tell you that I need to spend more time with him. Some of these things are easy. Instead of looking on the TikTok app, load the bible app and start reading. The enemy wants to use distractions to get you to stop. I myself, need to pray that God opens my eyes to what I am reading and prevent my brain activity from allowing God's word to stick.

We should all see if our time schedules match the "God's importance" in our life.
12/23/2025 I am beginning to believe that no one has experienced God's judgment like this:

Revelation 6:12-17 NLT
12 I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood. 13 Then the stars of the sky fell to the earth like green figs falling from a tree shaken by a strong wind. 14 The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and ALL of the mountains and islands were MOVED from their places.

15 Then everyone—the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person—all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to survive?”

Do you really want to reject Jesus for what is coming for the ungodly? Every building will be flattened and what was there may just collapse in front of your eyes assuming you could stand in the shaking. This event could happen in your near future. That is why that personal relationship with Jesus is so important today. Jesus is Lord and he will take you today, no matter what you may have done in your past. So there are no excuses to not give your heart to him now!
12/15/2025 It is interesting how the establishment watched Jesus when he began his ministry. They all had eyes to see and ears to hear, yet they were divided on their opinions. One side was like this:

John 2:18 NLT
18 But the Jewish leaders demanded, “What are you doing? If God gave you authority to do this, show us a miraculous sign to prove it.”

The other side, entirely the opposite, was like this:

John 3:2 NLT
2 After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”

This next verse tell why so many refuse to believe in Jesus even with the overwhelming evidence showing that he is real:

John 6:44 NLT
44 For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.

Jesus could do a million miracles and many would still reject him. If we dedicate ourselves to the world, Jesus will say:

John 17:9 NKJV
9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.

We can make Jesus stop pleading for us if we reject him for the world. I have heard of people being told by God to just to let them go and move on. If I do not hear from God, I will continue to pray for others assuming that God has called them to him.

That is something that God drew me to want to accept the Lord. He will be the first to say that I did not deserve it, but he did it anyway. It could be because he wanted me to help fulfill one of his dreams. For this, I am thankful.
12/10/2025 I was reading 2 Samuel 23 and I am convinced that God really loves our military. He wants to honor those who do an amazing job serving their country:

2 Samuel 23:8-12 NLT
David’s Mightiest Warriors

8 These are the names of David’s mightiest warriors. The first was Jashobeam the Hacmonite,[a] who was leader of the Three[b]—the three mightiest warriors among David’s men. He once used his spear to kill 800 enemy warriors in a single battle.

9 Next in rank among the Three was Eleazar son of Dodai, a descendant of Ahoah. Once Eleazar and David stood together against the Philistines when the entire Israelite army had fled. 10 He killed Philistines until his hand was too tired to lift his sword, and the Lord gave him a great victory that day. The rest of the army did not return until it was time to collect the plunder!

11 Next in rank was Shammah son of Agee from Harar. One time the Philistines gathered at Lehi and attacked the Israelites in a field full of lentils. The Israelite army fled, 12 but Shammah[d] held his ground in the middle of the field and beat back the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.

There was a lot more to be said about the military then I wrote here. If God hated the killing of bad guys, he never would have put these verses in the Bible. You people who hate the military need to read this whole chapter. You will find out you are completely wrong about who God is and your idea of killing.

You who serve in the military need to also read this so you know how much God loves it when you put your heart into serving your country. If we truly understood God we would all love our military men and women just as God does. Love them even if they kill the bad guys. They are making our country safe just like David's men did theirs.
11/23/2025 Isn't it interesting when people hate other people they always seem to get God into the equation. David had one of those times:

2 Samuel 16:5-8 NLT
Shimei Curses David
5 As King David came to Bahurim, a man came out of the village cursing them. It was Shimei son of Gera, from the same clan as Saul’s family. 6 He threw stones at the king and the king’s officers and all the mighty warriors who surrounded him. 7 “Get out of here, you murderer, you scoundrel!” he shouted at David. 8 “The Lord is paying you back for all the bloodshed in Saul’s clan. You stole his throne, and now the Lord has given it to your son Absalom. At last you will taste some of your own medicine, for you are a murderer!

Even David's answer to this mess was interesting:

2 Samuel 16:11-12 NLT
11 Then David said to Abishai and to all his servants, “My own son is trying to kill me. Doesn’t this relative of Saul have even more reason to do so? Leave him alone and let him curse, for the Lord has told him to do it. 12 And perhaps the Lord will see that I am being wronged and will bless me because of these curses today.”

Was David foretelling what Jesus would say:

Luke 6:22
What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.
11/20/2025 I never have been into dancing myself, but I do know that God likes when we dance with our hearts in his presence. The next time you celebrate a victory do what David did:

2 Samuel 6:14,16,20-23 NLT
14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment. 16 But as the Ark of the Lord entered the City of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, looked down from her window. When she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she was filled with contempt for him.

20 When David returned home to bless his own family, Michal, the daughter of Saul, came out to meet him. She said in disgust, “How distinguished the king of Israel looked today, shamelessly exposing himself to the servant girls like any vulgar person might do!”

21 David retorted to Michal, “I was dancing before the Lord, who chose me above your father and all his family! He appointed me as the leader of Israel, the people of the Lord, so I celebrate before the Lord. 22 Yes, and I am willing to look even more foolish than this, even to be humiliated in my own eyes! But those servant girls you mentioned will indeed think I am distinguished!” 23 So Michal, the daughter of Saul, remained childless throughout her entire life.

When you see someone dancing before the Lord be careful about your opinion about their moves or you can anger God to the point to have something happen bad in your life like Michal. When dancing is done to glorify sin, it is wrong. Let the Holy Spirit guide you to make the moves God likes.

Dancing unto the Lord is action of excitement for him. If you are not the dancing type, just jump up once, then spin around while you say "alleluia", "Thank you Jesus", and/or "Praise the Lord". To finish up, "moon walk" like Michel Jackson did and you have a dance.

Do not let legalism prevent you from dancing unto the Lord! Remember: "Dance unto the Lord, not men!"
11/19/2025 If we do not know our God, we may believe that he is unreasonable at times. Just like what happened here, God is made out to be the bad guy:

2 Samuel 6:3,6-7 NLT
3 They placed the Ark of God on a new cart and brought it from Abinadab’s house, which was on a hill. Uzzah and Ahio, Abinadab’s sons, were guiding the cart 4 that carried the Ark of God.
6 But when they arrived at the threshing floor of Nacon, the oxen stumbled, and Uzzah reached out his hand and steadied the Ark of God. 7 Then the Lord’s anger was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him dead because of this. So Uzzah died right there beside the Ark of God.

What did Uzzah do that is so bad? Well, God gave instructions on how the ark was to be built so it can be moved:

Exodus 25:12-15 NLT
12 Cast four gold rings and attach them to its four feet, two rings on each side. 13 Make poles from acacia wood, and overlay them with gold. 14 Insert the poles into the rings at the sides of the Ark to carry it. 15 These carrying poles must stay inside the rings; never remove them.

The ark was to always to be carried by men so this scenario would never happen. And who was to carry the ark:

Numbers 1:50-51 NLT
50 Put the Levites in charge of the Tabernacle of the Covenant, along with all its furnishings and equipment. They must carry the Tabernacle and all its furnishings as you travel, and they must take care of it and camp around it. 51 Whenever it is time for the Tabernacle to move, the Levites will take it down. And when it is time to stop, they will set it up again. But any unauthorized person who goes too near the Tabernacle must be put to death.

God gave instructions on how the ark was to be moved. He knew the best way to move it and he assigned the Levites to move it. I know that God had this all written down, but if we do not learn it, it can kill us. God has every right to get angry and warned that unauthorized people would die. As modern day adults we all know not to stick a metal fork in an electrical outlet or it will kill us. Isn't it just as important that all adults during this period should have known about treating God's Ark. We need to have as much passion about learning what God does not like as we do learning about things in our environment that can kill us.

One final thought: You are an expert on a valuable piece of technology that you have moved many times yourself. You know what can happen if the proper procedure is not followed. You write it down with instructions and diagrams. You are called to another task and you give the moving procedure to some employees to move the technology. The employees, who think they do not need instructions, put it together without following the bosses instructions. When the technology is turned on, it shorts out causing major damage. Just like God, you will burn with anger because your instructions were not followed.

Always follow God's instructions and take them seriously. Never take short cuts but follow each step as he dictates. Just remember this, he may have created these instructions for your life a long time ago.

Jeremiah 29:11-12 NLT
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen.
11/07/2025 I bet a lot of you are like me and make lots of cracks about the politicians and the dumb things they do. The sad part is that I leave it right here and do not take full advantage of my options. Even though they are what they are, Paul has some advice for us about all people:

1 Timothy 2:1-2 NLT
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them {This is the hard part; to give thanks for someone who is clueless.}. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.

This verse applies to everyone in our ministry. This includes college students, law enforcement, fire and the people in the ghetto. You also have people in your life that need to be prayed over. We all seem to do dumb things from time to time. Pray that God gives us wisdom to figure this out. Then we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.

Jesus "King of kings" and "ruler over all authority"!
11/06/2025 I am sure that I am not alone in this kind of situation. You work all year and things seem to be half way working then when you begin to harvest your work, it turns out to be disappointing. Of course, the enemy makes sure that you know about others who did the same kind of work you did but everything turned out much better for them.

His next step is to make you envious of those people to the point your jealousy makes you hate them. The guy who beat me I know him and he is cool and he deserved his reward. Not to say that I was a tiny bit jealous, still.

Next the enemy convinces you that you are a failure. As the results came in I was feeling this emotion. Why does he do it? He wants you to become so discouraged that you will not fulfill the mission God called you to do. Being discouraged can put an end to God's calling on your life. It got me down enough that I felt like not writing anymore comments. The enemy almost had me here.

The next thing I did was share my feelings with my buddy and we talked about it. His words of encouragement and not seeing the entire picture, which has Jesus in it, got me back on track and that you all need to know it is never over. Jesus said there would be times like this:

John 16:33 NLT
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.

I am still experiencing just plain weird things from the enemy. But Jesus is willing to help out:

Matthew 11:29-30 NLT
29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Even with all that is going on today, I feel more at peace now.

Philippians 4:7
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Never forget "Jesus is Lord"!!!!!
10/24/2025 I have seen people misquote verse 17 many times:

Mark 2:16-17 NLT
16 But when the teachers of religious law who were Pharisees saw him eating with tax collectors and other sinners, they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with such scum?”

17 When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”

They remove the words I have in bold when they quote the verse. This changes the meaning immensely. When we fall into the trap of good works like the religious leaders, Jesus has no use for us. Paul said,"

Romans 3:10 KJV
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
"

This says that our faith in only Jesus Christ can make us righteous:

Romans 4:5 NLT
But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.

The last part says he came only for those who know they sin and want to change. If we want to continue to sin apart from God, he did not come for you either. Unlike the devil though, we do have the option to change and be accepted back into the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. It is never too late no matter the level of how much we have sinned, that Jesus Christ will take us back into the fold. Don't mock Jesus by asking forgiveness and continuing down the same path you have always gone. If you truly honor and love Him you will want to change.

Jesus -> King of kings - treat him like a king.

Proverbs 9:10 NLT
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.
