06/16/2024 King David had a life of intrigue. Even with all the enemies wanting to kill him he would write down things like this.

1 Chronicles 29:11 NLT
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.

It is easy to see why God liked David because you can see how he acknowledged the true awesome Yahweh throughout Psalms. I believe that our President Trump sees God in the same light with all the attempts on his own life. Even though our lives are small compared to these two men, this verse is still true for us. This same God wants to have relationship with us:

Ephesians 3:17-19 (New International Version)
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Pay attention to the part where it says, "you may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people." You and I were never to take on life alone.

Once we begin to get the fullness of God we have to watch for the enemy's deception. I watched the Jesus Revolution movie bringing the hippie generation to Jesus Christ. The man who talked to the pastor to open his church to the hippies temporarily lost focus on that pastor's authority. Sometimes we have to wait even if we may be right. That is how God wants it. We are valuable to God when we serve him but so are the other people who serve him. Let's never forget it is God's ministry and not yours. This will help keep us humble. If you do not believe me, just ask God to get lost or ignore him and you will see your ministry die in front of your eyes. It is his and will always be his if it is going to succeed.
05/13/2022 King Solomon had nearly 700 wives so he had first hand observations that the rest of us do not have. I myself know that when God made women from Adam he created another masterpiece.

There are many married women out there today that fit this description:

Proverbs 31:10, 27-28 (New Living Translation)
Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies.

You are more valuable than rubies. Jesus Christ believes all women are more precious then rubies. He definitely wants you to accept him into your life and bring you home into God's Kingdom. He loved you so much that he died for you so I am confident that Jesus wants all of you in the Kingdom of God.

This one tells what guys should be looking for in a women:

Proverbs 31:30 (New Living Translation)
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.

But husbands we need to fear the Lord also. Those of you contemplating marriage start fearing the Lord now to improve you chances of having a good marriage.
