01/09/2025 Matthew 6:19-21 NLT
“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

One thing about serving God the way he wants, we automatically begin storing treasure in the Kingdom of God. It becomes difficult to serve God when we are building treasure on earth to. God does call people in business to be successful. But what do we do with that success? It is OK to have cool things but we are also to invest in people whom circumstances dealt a blow to their life. We will not see it if we do not look.

If we begin to have more treasure stored on earth than in heaven it is time for a heart adjustment. Do not let your heart take your salvation from you. Your success can make you reject Jesus Christ when you began to live your life separate from him.

When we do use our blessings for other people always remember this:

Matthew 6:1-4 NLT
Teaching about Giving to the Needy

6 “Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. 2 When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. 3 But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4 Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

It is OK to keep your spouse in the loop to let them know what you are up too.

"Jesus will always be Lord"
01/08/2025 It is not too late to recover America from the enemy because a lot of this has been going on:

2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT
14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

God confirms the same sentiment here too:

Amos 5:14-15 NLT
Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed. Hate evil and love what is good; turn your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will have mercy on the remnant of his people.

Let's give a good Amen here. I want our country back to being "One Nation Under Jesus Christ"
01/07/2025 Women in the old Testament had it rough and this is a sad story. When Jacob was looking for a wife he found what he wanted through Rachel. Laben forced Jacob to take Leah before he could have Rachel. Jacob never once looked to see what was going on in the heart of Leah:

Genesis 29:31-32 NLT
31 When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, he enabled her to have children, but Rachel could not conceive. 32 So Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben, for she said, “The Lord has noticed my misery, and now my husband will love me.”

No matter what Leah did she was mostly rejected by Jacob. She had to even buy his time:

Genesis 30:16 NLT
16 So that evening, as Jacob was coming home from the fields, Leah went out to meet him. “You must come and sleep with me tonight!” she said. “I have paid for you with some mandrakes that my son found.” So that night he slept with Leah.

The motto of what is going on here is that we get so wrapped up in what we want and are not paying attention to what our actions are doing to other people around us. Playing favorites with your kids can also bring about rejection. Jacob found that out when Joseph became his favorite. The rest of the family knew it and they sold Joseph into bondage. Our God had to step in to protect Leah and Joseph with the cards they were dealt by other peoples actions.

We need to let the compassion of Jesus Christ reign in our lives so we can lift people up. Rejection is a killer. It can build hatred and suicidal thoughts in people around us. It is time to "Let Love Live".
01/04/2025 I really had an interesting conversation with my nephew as I drove him to the Denver airport. We were catching up a lot of things and he was asking us a lot of questions. My nephew had good ice breaker questions. They were questions like "What was the worst thing that somebody gave you?" I would give an answer then he would answer. The last question he asked, "What was the best free thing that you ever received?" I immediately began strolling through my past trying to think of anything that I got to free and totally cool. Then I remembered that my dad gave me a 2019 King Ranch F150 pickup a couple of years ago. We happened to be driving the same vehicle to the airport. I then ask him the same question.

He did not have to think long and he replied, "Jesus Christ". I paused a moment to think but he was right. Salvation is a free gift from the lord and it's the only thing that's capable of getting us into the Kingdom of Heaven. Even though my pickup truck is cool and can get from point A to point B in style. The problem is the kingdom of heaven is not anywhere between those points. The is no better answer to that question than "Jesus Christ"

Jesus may be free to us but he paid a dear price for what he did. No one has graphically depicted what Jesus went through because no one is sadistic enough to do what Satan did to our King. Even after it was all done, Jesus said, "Father, Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." He did all this because he knew one day that I would be born and he wanted to personally invite me in the presence of the Father. It is my choice to freely accept or reject his gift.

If we accept his gift our heart better reflect our choice. Our King will not be deceived! My nephew spent time away from God and Jesus is bring him back home. I don't care that he had spent time in jail, but the fact he was fun to be with and is giving his heart back to Jesus Christ is the only thing important to me. I hope to see him soon even if it is to take him back to the airport.

Jesus "King of kings"
01/03/2025 So you think that you have made such a mistake that God will never be able to fix it. This is proof that even if we mess everything up that God has planned for us that he can fix our mess. But please do not test him or you could be cursed. Abram was a good case of screwing up. Look at the powerful promise God gave him.

Genesis 15:1-6 NLT
The Lord’s Covenant Promise to Abram

15 Some time later, the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, “Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great.”

2 But Abram replied, “O Sovereign Lord, what good are all your blessings when I don’t even have a son? Since you’ve given me no children, Eliezer of Damascus, a servant in my household, will inherit all my wealth. 3 You have given me no descendants of my own, so one of my servants will be my heir.”

4 Then the Lord said to him, “No, your servant will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own who will be your heir.” 5 Then the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!”

6 And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.

Now pay attention to the fact that God has told Abram that he was going to have a son of his own who was going to inherit everything and Abraham believed. It said even that God considered him righteous because of his faith. Now see what happens to Abraham as time passes.

Genesis 16:1-2 NLT
The Birth of Ishmael

16 Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had not been able to bear children for him. But she had an Egyptian servant named Hagar. 2 So Sarai said to Abram, “The Lord has prevented me from having children. Go and sleep with my servant. Perhaps I can have children through her.” And Abram agreed with Sarai’s proposal.

I see some Adam and Eve stuff going on here. Sarai’ is convincing Abraham to sleep around to see if her servant girl could make a son. Both of them are tired of waiting on the timing of God. Abram may even I said to himself, "You know that God did not specify Sarai as having the son so he convinced himself to take charge. It was never mentioned if Abram shared God's vision with his wife. But look what happens when man tries to run God's events without him.

Genesis 16:4-6 NLT
4 So Abram had sexual relations with Hagar, and she became pregnant. But when Hagar knew she was pregnant, she began to treat her mistress, Sarai, with contempt. 5 Then Sarai said to Abram, “This is all your fault! I put my servant into your arms, but now that she’s pregnant she treats me with contempt. The Lord will show who’s wrong—you or me!”

6 Abram replied, “Look, she is your servant, so deal with her as you see fit.” Then Sarai treated Hagar so harshly that she finally ran away.

All Abram did was cause problems and heartaches to the people in his family and to those who were serving him because of his unwillingness to wait on Gods timing. God is about to start fixing Abrams mess:

Genesis 16:7-12 NLT
7 The angel of the Lord found Hagar beside a spring of water in the wilderness, along the road to Shur. 8 The angel said to her, “Hagar, Sarai’s servant, where have you come from, and where are you going?”

“I’m running away from my mistress, Sarai,” she replied.

9 The angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit to her authority.” 10 Then he added, “I will give you more descendants than you can count.”

11 And the angel also said, “You are now pregnant and will give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael (which means ‘God hears’), for the Lord has heard your cry of distress. 12 This son of yours will be a wild man, as untamed as a wild donkey! He will raise his fist against everyone, and everyone will be against him. Yes, he will live in open hostility against all his relatives.”

Even when everything is totally messed up, God is still there. He sent angel to Hagar to tell her what to do. But there were consequences. She had to go back and submit to the authority of Abram. But in this process, he made a covenant with Hagar that to her descendants would be as numerous as the stars but they would be wild. To this day the Arab nations have been a thorn in the side of Israel.

The one thing the angel never mentioned to Hagar was the that there was going to be a day were the Arab nations would come to know God because of the visitations of Jesus Christ. Arabs all over the world are coming to Jesus Christ because of his personal visitations. God honored who is now Abraham with vast wealth and the linage of Jesus Christ. This is proof that God is powerful to fix anyone's mess.

Here is something else to think about:

Genesis 17:17
Then Abraham bowed down to the ground, but he laughed to himself in disbelief. “How could I become a father at the age of 100?” he thought. “And how can Sarah have a baby when she is ninety years old?

How could anyone who had strong relationship with God even comment on his wife having a child at an old age? We serve a God who is limitless and if he wanted to he could even make a dude bring a child to term and at any age. You are right this is a scary thought but not impossible to God.

Jesus is Lord
12/31/2024 Jesus's disciples have spent a lot of time with him when he spoke about what was in John 16. Jesus wanted to share more but stopped to prevent his disciples from being overwhelmed.

The first part dealt with how they would be treated. Isn't is sad that people think they are doing God a favor by coming after you. It is really dumb when they saw Jesus do the things he did and would say, "We need to kill this man because he dishonors God." I am a firm believer that what Jesus did was coming from the Father because nothing exists today that has that Kind of power other then Yahweh.

John 16:1-4
“I have told you these things so that you won’t abandon your faith. 2 For you will be expelled from the synagogues, and the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing a holy service for God. 3 This is because they have never known the Father or me. 4 Yes, I’m telling you these things now, so that when they happen, you will remember my warning. I didn’t tell you earlier because I was going to be with you for a while longer.

Jesus wanted to tell them more but the Holy Spirit will bring to you what I left out. The way he does it will bring glory to my name.

John 16:12-15 NLT
12 “There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. 13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. 14 He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.’

We know the end of the story but what kind of questions would we ask when Jesus said this:

John 16:16-19 NLT
16 “In a little while you won’t see me anymore. But a little while after that, you will see me again.”

17 Some of the disciples asked each other, “What does he mean when he says, ‘In a little while you won’t see me, but then you will see me,’ and ‘I am going to the Father’? 18 And what does he mean by ‘a little while’? We don’t understand.”

19 Jesus realized they wanted to ask him about it, so he said, “Are you asking yourselves what I meant? I said in a little while you won’t see me, but a little while after that you will see me again. 20 I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy.

These were his final words:

John 16:29-33 NLT
29 Then his disciples said, “At last you are speaking plainly and not figuratively. 30 Now we understand that you know everything, and there’s no need to question you. From this we believe that you came from God.”

31 Jesus asked, “Do you finally believe? 32 But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when you will be scattered, each one going his own way, leaving me alone. Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me. 33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

verse 33 sums it all up. We are never alone. Christians need to stand up and encourage one another as we face trials. Jesus says, "We have victory because he overcome the world."

Do you know what this means? Jesus is Lord!
12/28/2024 Do you notice how people look for excuses why they need to reject God. Jesus and John the Baptist were two different personalities who fulfilled their calling. But many did not want to acknowledge that. Instead, they began making excuses:

Matthew 11:18-19 NLT
18 For John didn’t spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, ‘He’s possessed by a demon.’ 19 The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’ But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.”

We should always be looking and the "end results" instead of looking for faults in people. If God did that, we would all be useless to him and he would turn away from us. Jesus was angry and had something to say about those who reject him:

Matthew 11:20-24 NLT
Judgment for the Unbelievers
20 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns where he had done so many of his miracles, because they hadn’t repented of their sins and turned to God. 21 “What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse. 22 I tell you, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you.

23 “And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today. 24 I tell you, even Sodom will be better off on judgment day than you.”

This is more confirmation of the great number of people who are going to hell. This is also to get us to realize how important his word is to be preached to those people to get them to repent and be saved from hell. We were given free will and Jesus will not force himself on anyone. Rejection comes with eternal suffering.

I am not a bold as I could be, but everyone needs to start by talking about things God is doing in your life now. If you are living for Christ, they may even ask you. One thing I know is that if I truly loved people, I would try very hard to get people into God's Kingdom. Jesus was so serious about this that he died and rose for me to make this happen. I want Jesus to continue to be Lord of my Life even if I am not perfect.
12/22/2024 We all should know that God wants to speak to us. The problem is that we can listen to him, but we like to add stuff to what he is saying. About a year ago we were told that that we are going to be pleasantly surprised with what is going to be happening in the fall. I automatically assumed that it will be related to finances. Well fall has come and gone. I was extremely disappointed because I thought that it was a boring fall when it came to my finances.

The sad part about this is that God dropped me hints with what he was talking about. For example my buddy said that it is getting easy to witness to the gangs compared to what he experienced when he started. But in my mind I still was thinking about finances. Finally God had enough with my complaining and said, "When did I say finances were involved?" He did not have to say another word. God did not say anything about finances when he gave us the prophetic message about what was going to happen. When you think about it it makes sense that since the gangs were our primary focus, that God would put something into effect that related to that. So I had to apologize to God for what I was thinking. He kept his word just like he said he would do it as it all happened.

Just remember this that just because we think of something, God is not required to make it happen. We also have to remember that we are here on this earth to serve him not for him to serve us.

Jesus is Lord!
12/10/2024 One of the most fascinating battles of World War 2 was the battle of Midway. The reason why it was so successful for the Americans was the fact that our fleet was hidden from the Japanese while are coders determined that they would be at Midway. We knew where they were going to be at at a given time. This gave us time to position our fleet to attack in secret. This kind of action was talked about in Psalm 91:

Psalm 91:1-2 NIV
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

When we are in the shadow of the almighty, the enemy cannot see us. Many of us do not realize that many times God has his shadow over us. It gives us time to prepare for attack against the enemy. How many of us wonder what God's plan is in our life? I do have to admit to myself that God has been protecting me for awhile to prepare me for what he has planned four years ago. He now has me out in the battlefield trying to help get gangs into the Kingdom of God, serving his families in the ghetto, college students, and those who serve in law enforcement and fire. It has been an exciting adventure.

There is that time when God asks each one of us to move. In order for the Americans to win that battle, they had to launch their aircraft to take the enemy out. After the battle begins the enemy now knows where we are at. The Japanese knew of our presence but they had no idea how large our force was. So it goes with our spiritual enemy. He may not know how strong we are because God likes to keep him guessing. But our enemy will try to stop us at any cost. Jesus Christ has given us the authority to bind the enemy and to pray to him for strength. The Holy Spirit can get us through any situation that the enemy might have to use against us.

I believe that spiritual warfare at this time is larger than it ever has been. God is going to be calling all of us to join the battle. So let us be ready to do whatever he asks us to do to make sure that the enemy's life is living hell. Let us use all the tools that God has given us to stand up against the enemy. We are not powerful enough to take him on alone:

Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT
The Whole Armor of God
10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

When will our enemy ever realize that "Jesus is Lord"
12/04/2024 I think that trusting the Lord is different then waiting on the Lord. You can trust that the Lord is going to accomplish what he says. It is the waiting for it that seems to kill us. The NLT talks about trust:

Isaiah 40:31 NLT
31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

But as for me it is the waiting. The KJV version of this verse was written for me because I do not like to wait:

Isaiah 40:31 KJV
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Jesus is Lord
12/03/2024 The modern day church is becoming like the church before Acts. They have become so religious they have know idea who God is. Jesus told his disciples what the old church or the religious people were going to do to him:

Matthew 16:21
Jesus Predicts His Death
From then on Jesus began to tell his disciples plainly that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem, and that he would suffer many terrible things at the hands of the elders, the leading priests, and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, but on the third day he would be raised from the dead.

I have seen what the modern day church does to people who have sinned as though they never have sinned in their own life. President Trump is a good example of this hypocrisy. They say, "I am to good to support a man like this because he has sin in his life." Are you so naive that if God thought like you he would not be able to use anybody to accomplish his goals because of the sins we have ALL committed.

Another thing to think about is the fact you hold past sins against people. When Jesus Christ forgives sin he forgets about it. Or are you too religious to forget about peoples past sins. Make note of Paul's writing. It is written:

Colossians 3:13
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

As for President Trump who may not be perfect but I love everything the man stands for and would be honored to have him in my church. But I will not be swayed from the fact that "Jesus is Lord".
12/02/2024 Don't we all wish we had the relationship these two have:

Hebrews 1:1-2 NLT
Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

This is why Jesus has all the power his Father has because he always had it. That is why Jesus said "If you have seen me you have seen the Father."

Jesus is Lord!
11/29/2024 More reasons to give thanks to our King:

Psalm 136:1,26 NLT
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
11/28/2024 I know a lot of us are thankful on this Thanksgiving day but what a challenge this would be:

1 Chronicles 16:8 NLT
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.

This all can start by beginning with one individual. After all Jesus is "The King of kings". Let's do it for him.
11/27/2024 Do you want blessings in your life and make God smile? Paul says it all here:

Colossians 3:16 NLT
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

I have seen the message of Jesus Christ transform lives to their fullness. We were never meant to be lone rangers in life either. It takes a body to teach and counsel one another. Even doing these two things pleases God. But when you bring glory to his name with psalms and hymns with a thankful heart, just watch God do some amazing things in your life.

The most detrimental thing about fulfilling this verse can be our worldly activities. It can change our focus on the things of God to the pleasures of self. I have experienced this myself. This can happen to anyone if we let our guard down. The enemy already has it planned to happen in a manner where we might not realize it is happening. He has had thousands of years to practice and is good at it. The Holy Spirit can give us discernment if we ask him to expose his plan.

Just as those students said in the democrat rally, "Jesus is Lord"
11/24/2024 The Thanksgiving holiday is next week and how many of us are really thankful. After all this current administration has been doing everything to make our lives miserable. People who look for the positive in all the crap brought up a good point. "Do you see how God has protected us from complete devastation. He only let what happened to give us a wake up call to what will happen if we let evil reign."

Paul has the secret to creating thankful Christians in all situations:

Colossians 2:6-7 (New Living Translation)
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

Colossians 3:17 (New Living Translation)
And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

God loves the thankful heart and let's practice it. This is where blessings truly come from. Thankfulness is a form of worship and it brings honor to the name of our King.

Look deep even during times of suffering you will always find things to be thankful for. After all "Jesus is still Lord"
11/20/2024 It is getting towards the end of November and the Thanksgiving Holiday is coming. I was curious what the bible has to say about thanksgiving. When you search scriptures there are 32 occurrences in the entire bible. The winners with no surprise to me was when Nehemiah mentioned it (5) times and the Psalms (8) times. David had a thankful heart and God did a miracle for Nehemiah getting that wall up quickly.

Even the word "thanks" is mentioned in Nehemiah (8) times and in Psalm (35) times. These books are again the winners. These are just a few verses I listed:

Psalm 26:6-7 NLT
6 I wash my hands to declare my innocence.
I come to your altar, O Lord,
7 singing a song of thanksgiving
and telling of all your wonders {Brag about our Kings accomplishments in our life}

Psalm 69:30 NLT
Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 100:4 NLT
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.

Do you think maybe David was the apple of God because of his thankful heart? He was not ashamed to glorify the name of God by demonstrating it publicly with praise and song.

For this time of thanksgiving in 2024 lets "Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his church with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name." We all know that God loves a truly thankful heart!

Jesus Christ "The name where all blessings come from!"
11/19/2024 Have you ever noticed that people who love the Lord seem to have more joy in their lives. I know of a couple other people who think like David on this subject of joy:

Psalm 1:1-2 (New Living Translation)
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.

Both Paul and Jesus Christ talked about this. One thing that Jesus Christ could do that Paul could not is the law never makes things perfect, but Jesus can.

Hebrews 7:19 NLT
19 For the law never made anything perfect. But now we have confidence in a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

If you really have the Holy Spirit dwelling in your life you will feel bad about hanging around sin. We need to hang around with People who truly love God in order to experience the joy Psalms 1 is talking about. God written word can also do the same.

Jesus "King of kings"
11/18/2024 Have you ever thought that God will prepare the way for us before he asks us to do anything. Sometimes it is done by showing us how to do it like he did with Noah.

Genesis 6:14-15 NLT
14 “Build a large boat from cypress wood and waterproof it with tar, inside and out. Then construct decks and stalls throughout its interior. 15 Make the boat 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high.

I know that God gave more details then what is given in the scriptures. There was not a lot of ship building going on at this time so God also gave Noah wisdom to complete the task. Later in life when the Israel was building the tabernacle, God sent craftsman to Moses to build it when he did not have the talent and or time to do it.

Exodus 31:1-6 NLT
1 Then the Lord said to Moses, 2 “Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts. 4 He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. 5 He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft!

6 “And I have personally appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be his assistant. Moreover, I have given special skill to all the gifted craftsmen so they can make all the things I have commanded you to make:

Sometimes we are called to assist other people as Oholiab was. Take note of the last verse: "Moreover, I have given special skill to all the gifted craftsmen so they can make all the things I have commanded you to make:"

So never fear God will have you covered when he sends you on a mission. Moses used his speaking ability to try to get out of meeting Pharaoh. Even though he sent Arron I believe that God would have given Moses the ability to speak. Even in my own life I never have liked writing but God has given me joy in being able to share what is going on in my own life in words. Many times he give me topics to write about and other times it is what I am observing. I pray that the Holy Spirit guides my words to Glorify the name of Jesus Christ.

What I am trying to say is that God will magnify your talents to complete any task he may ask of you. Be like King Solomon and ask for more wisdom:

1 Kings 3:7-14 NLT
7 “Now, O Lord my God, you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who doesn’t know his way around. 8 And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people, a nation so great and numerous they cannot be counted! 9 Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”

10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom. 11 So God replied, “Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies— 12 I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have! 13 And I will also give you what you did not ask for—riches and fame! No other king in all the world will be compared to you for the rest of your life! 14 And if you follow me and obey my decrees and my commands as your father, David, did, I will give you a long life.”

Why would God put these verses in the bible unless he wants us to physically ask for more wisdom. You may never get to be as wise as Solomon but let God take you beyond your human limits.

Jesus is Lord!
11/14/2024 Did you ever wonder why Jesus who came to the Earth as a human, how he could possibly live his whole life without sinning? Believe it or not but Albert Einstein actually had the reason why Jesus did what he did.

When Albert Einstein was in college, he was challenged by an atheist professor. He asked the entire class, "Does evil exist?" The response from the class was "Yes". The professor then asked the entire class, "Did God create everything?" The students all responded agreed that God created every thing. The professor then challenged them by saying, "That means God created evil. Then he is evil in of it himself."

Einstein would not let his definition of evil go. He raised his hand and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?" The professor replied, "Yes, it does. Have you never been cold before?" Einstein then said, "Cold does not exist. Cold is the absence of heat. You measure temperature based on how much heat is the atmosphere."

Einstein did not stop here. He then asked, "Professor, do you believes that darkness exists?" His professor responded, "Yes, darkness does exist." Einstein again said, "Professor, you are wrong. Darkness does not exist. You can only measure light. Darkness is the absence of light. You measure how dark it is by the lack of light."

Einstein's final question to his professor was, "Professor, does evil exist?" His professor was beginning to become uneasy with this question, but finally said, "Yes, evil exist. You can see all the crime and violence going around the world." Einstein again said, "Sir, evil does not exist, at least not unto itself. Evil is the absence of God. Evils is what happens when men don't have God's love in their hearts. Evil is like cold when there is no heat and darkness when there is no light." The professor then sat down.

Jesus was dedicated to the Father his entire life. God was always present in his life which made it possible for him to live a sin free life. So if we want to have any hope to live a nearly sin free life, the key is that strong relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus did it by his strong relationship with his Father. Always remember a sin free life is to please Jesus. It will never get you into heaven because it is works. Our salvation is based entirely on our relationship with Jesus Christ. Let us serve him because we love him. Jesus is Lord!
