10/06/2022 Proverbs 27:1 (New Living Translation)
Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what the day will bring.

When my buddy witnesses to each gang, he would always mention the fact, "No one is promised tomorrow, not even me. This may be the only opportunity to give your heart to Jesus Christ." Tomorrow is a gift from God. It is even more exciting if we are serving Jesus. Don't take tomorrow for granted.

But we all know that many times tomorrow brings unexpected circumstances. Things can break down, an investment can go sour, or even people can change the outcome of tomorrow. Whatever happens, tomorrow could be the start of a new trial. This is why many of the mature Christians start the new day out with prayer. It can bind the enemy from coming against us. It can bring wisdom to catch and solve problems. The coolest thing that could happen is when the people you are working with fit in with your plans. Always make sure God is part of any plan you come up with tomorrow and be willing to change them if he says so. He may be protecting you from pending disaster.

As we all should, start out the new day with thanksgiving. This pleases God and he will be more likely to answer your prayers. Have a blessed tomorrow.
10/04/2022 My college and career pastor told me when he dated his wife, Vickie, that they would only come together when they were visible to the public in the light. He said, "The temptation of dating a beautiful woman and doing improper things outside of a marriage, is something I do not want to test. I know that it is imperative to protect both of us from doing something not pleasing to our King. I know that I will not be able to do anything inappropriate while people are watching."

So many times people do the opposite. They use the cover of darkness to commit sin. They say to themselves, "Nobody will ever find out."

Philippians 2:15
So that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

Paul writes that we are being observed and will be discovered in our sins. We need to continue to live free of sin to set the example:

1 Thessalonians 5:5
For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night.

1 Thessalonians 5:8
But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.

John also talks about living in the light:

John 3:20-21 (New Living Translation)
All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”

Paul writes that if our light is not real, we will be discovered:

1 Corinthians 4:5
So don’t make judgments about anyone ahead of time—before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due.

You may not realize how important it is to be a light to the world because it convicts it. Once our light goes out the world becomes completely dark. Sin will become rampant because it will not have a check against it.

This is the reason why we need to be bold and come against those things in our own life and in politics that are not pleasing to God. Your light does matter so let it shine brightly and combine forces with those who also are shining the light. We can become that church Jesus Christ is looking for before he can come back.
10/03/2022 After witnessing to the gangs in a Commerce City park, my buddy began witnessing on the street on Saturday night. Soon people started lining up to be prayed for. It is amazing how many people are out on the street after dark. The streets many times are even busy at 2:00 a.m. Later that evening, nine priest came up to him and talked him about him praying over the people. Earlier, they just came from a meeting and they were cruising the town and they noticed that there was about a dozen people waiting in line to be prayed for by my buddy. My buddy always places his hand on the person he is praying for. Lately, God has been bringing a lot of people to him. The people out on the street are becoming hungry for God. Those priests just sat there in their van and watched him for at least 15 minutes before they walked over to talk to him.

After the priest conversed with him, my buddy asked the priests if they ever accepted Jesus Christ. It seems like an odd question to be asking a priest but they paused for a moment. They had to admit that none of them had. He began to explain to them about having that personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This brought me back to the story in John where Jesus was talking with Nicodemus.

John 3 New Living Translation

1 There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. 2 After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”

3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”

5 Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. 7 So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”

9 “How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked.

10 Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? 11 I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. 12 But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.

These priest are like Nicodemus because they know things of God but have separated themselves from God. Until we give our hearts to Jesus we will never see the Kingdom of God. After we give our hearts to Jesus, he will send his Spirit in return. The Holy Spirit can make us bold for God's Kingdom. The gifts from his Spirit he gives us will edify the body of his church. Jesus is much more than something that exists. He wants to live in us as we live for him. My buddy has many stories on this kind of living and I am trying to write a lot of it down. If God wanted me to, I could write multiple books on living for God in just what happens in our Ministry. If you want excitement in your life, Live for God!

Those priests began to cry as they began living for Jesus. They asked my buddy to meet them the next day. They wanted to ask him questions about what they need to do to better serve God. I cannot wait to see what is going to happen to their congregations when they become on fire for Jesus Christ. The same is true for you. Could you imagine how that same personal relationship with Jesus Christ would impact the people you come into contact with. It is our time to change the world for Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 33:22 New Living Translation

22 For the Lord is our judge,
our lawgiver, and our king.
He will care for us and save us.
09/28/2022 We have all heard of the power our of God's word. But I am beginning to realize that even the physical form of The Bible bound in a book when you carry that it too has power to draw people. When my buddy goes out on the street many times God has him stand in a certain place with his bible physically so people can see it. Pretty soon he has A-line of people coming up to him and asking him for prayer.

The latest thing that happened was a school bus pulled up on the street on Saturday night. They were some young teenage basketball players who took 3rd in a tournament and wanted to finish their trip touring Denver. They came from a rural area and the tall buildings are not seen where they live. The coach is always praying for his boys, but he wanted somebody that they don't know prayed for them. When he saw that Bible in my buddy’s hand, he immediately had the bus driver stop. He then proceeded to ask my buddy if he would pray for his boys on the bus. He walked by that bus driver with the Bible is his hand. The bus driver has never accepted Christ. The boys on that bus asked questions about the ministry for an hour and a half while they were being prayed over. This was enough to convince the bus driver that he needed Jesus Christ that night. Isaiah has something to say about this:

Isaiah 55:11
It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it

The Bible itself is nothing but paper and materials that rot but it is like the American flag because it represents the true God. But the words inside bring God’s presence. If you do not believe me, I can prove that the paper has the presence of God. In Chicago this summer my buddy witnessed to a Street 18 gang. The undercover police said they shoot at everyone who drives by them. God had him place his bible on the passenger side of the car. He had him open it to Isaiah 41:10:

Isaiah 41:10 New Living Translation
10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

He laid the bible face down on the passenger side windshield. When he was about to arrive, they had their pistols ready to shoot at him until the leader saw the open Bible. He signaled to his men to drop their weapons. He said, “We do not shoot at ministers.” He was with them most of the day and never got hurt. At the end of the day, they were ready to give their hearts to Jesus Christ. Meanwhile the undercover police were taking bets on how many bullet holes would be in the car they provided him when he returned. The undercover’s pastor knew the power of God’s word and said “zero”. The rest had more than 1 hole. The women were also taking bets on how many bruises he would have when he returned. Again, the pastor's wife knew the power of God’s word and said “zero”. Between them they made $1000 dollars. We have a ghetto ministry where we bless God’s families in need with money. When they found out what we were doing they did the same with that money. The rest of the undercover police wanted to do the same because they were beginning to see what fun it is to give. They are feeding those in their ghetto every weekend. This is all happening from God’s word.

Just last week he met with a gang from San Diego who shot at everything that came near them. He did exactly what he did in Chicago. This time the leader’s bodyguard said, “We do not shoot at preachers.”. This gang too is giving their hearts to Jesus Christ.

I do like my digital Bible to find things quickly, but you need to carry a physical Bible if you are called to witness to people on the street. God may tell you to stand in a certain location and not say a word. Soon people will see your Bible and start lining up for prayer. God is present when you hold onto his word.
09/25/2022 My buddy after he witnesses to the gangs, he will go out on the streets of Denver for the people who wandering around all hours of the night. Many are looking for answers and he tells them about the salvation of Jesus Christ. Lately, though people who call themselves Christians are coming up to him and are mentioning the emptiness they are feeling. If we don't totally commit ourselves to our King we are putting ourselves in danger of this happening to us. They are rededicating their lives to Jesus Christ for that fresh anointing.

By that grace of Jesus Christ, it is now possible for us to enter into the kingdom of God because of what he did on that cross. It is now our time to show our appreciation to Christ by living a godly life. One of the cool things that happens when you live that kind of life, the number of sins you commit will greatly drop because of your desire to please him. I pray that this is true in your life already. It is true though that we will probably never completely stop sinning. John talks about this:

1 John 2:1 (New Living Translation)
My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.

When you do not sin you never have to face the consequences of what that sin would entail. This makes life pretty darn good. But now we are representing Jesus Christ. Satan is extremely upset whenever we try to please God. He is going to bring every circumstance that is around you to try to take you down. Many times, these things will create hardships in your life. Many modern-day churches hide behind their doors to prevent conflict. The problem with this is that you become lukewarm to God. This is what God says about that:

Revelation 3:16
But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!

If you are not seeing any spiritual warfare in your life, you may also be lukewarm. This is not a very good place to be in. GET BOTH FEET INTO GOD'S KINGDOM AND LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND. Paul talks more about spiritual warfare to the church in Ephesus:

Ephesians 6:12
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Notice the word "fighting" in this verse. It is not a "debate" like the lukewarm want to do.

I have watched the mature Christians as they will continuously pray to bind Satan up in their lives to minimize the damage that the enemy has on their life. Even then things can still go against us. Things like sickness, loved ones dying, losing a pet or expensive breakdowns can cause a lot of grief in our lives. God can prevent all this stuff from happening, but he chooses not to. He has a good reason why he lets us go through trials:

Romans 5:3-4 (New Living Translation)
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

These things let us know if we are willing to stand with our King when things get rocky. I want to be conditioned to be "hot" so that if I would ever be persecuted that I would still endorse my King no matter what may happen to me. Lukewarm makes it too easy to substitute the pleasures of this world for my King. Did you ever think about the value of his gift he gave us and telling him to stick it because I would rather have what the world offers. He loves us just the same, but he will not acknowledge us before our Father where our salvation lies.

So, if you are living a godly life and enduring the trials that come after you, you are not alone. If you handle your trials in a godly manner, you are pleasing the King. Rejoice that you are winning against your trials.
09/24/2022 The only thing that is keeping Jesus Christ from coming back the 2nd time time is that the whole world has not heard of his glorious name and the churches of today are totally divided. He is looking for the church that unites behind him and starts thinking exactly like he thinks. This church will push God's agenda instead of man's. This church will also be bold. This church will also come against the evil in our government and stand up for up for his beliefs. Some of this may be as simple as when we go to the voting booth. Are we going to pull the same lever that Jesus Christ would. If we do not, we are dividing his kingdom. 2020 is the year where we had two opposite agendas or platforms. One was godly and one was demonic. Some churches failed miserably at determining which was the right one. If you are not sure which one was demonic, it was the one that was supporting abortion, pedophilia, homosexual marriage, transgenderism and all the other weird stuff that dishonors God.

Did you ever wonder what it would be like if Jesus Christ would come to America as man today. I know he would be like the man he was when he first came to Earth. His primary goal would you be to please the Father. I know he would get 12 more men to help him reach the world.. He would definitely have a lot more fun with all the technology that we have to reach men.. He would be out on social media proclaiming the gospel and would probably be censored because he spoke the truth. When it comes to churches he would be just like he was with the pharisees. Man, he would be telling many of them that what they are doing is wrong. He would tell them what they need to do to become the church that he wants. This is what he would say:

1 Peter 3:8 (New Living Translation)
Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

He would then say:

Philippians 2:1-2 (New Living Translation)
Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

Now this is the way should be Living. The church then models this to the world. Get ready because the rest of the world would here about Jesus because of our newly found boldness. Now watch Jesus return. Just remember the condition of today's church is the only thing holding his return back.
09/22/2022 If you desire to bring more Glory to our amazing God, do this:

Romans 15:7 (New Living Translation)

Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

This is something that the Holy Spirit makes possible. Our flesh will not want this to happen because it feels like it has been damaged by the results of the actions of people around it.
09/20/2022 At first I was going to blow the verse off, then I began wondering if it is prophecy over me. I am sure it is for you.

Joel 2:23 (New Living Translation)

Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as the rains of spring.

The first thing that came to my mind was all of the things having to do with the scamdemic, the inflation, the border, abortion and government corruption that has never seen this magnitude before.

I believe that God is trying to say that he has this all under control. There is a large spiritual battle going on for the survival of America and the world. The rain signifies the great things God is going to do for those who love him. The show that our God is about to do is never going to be matched again to give our nation another chance. Let us all give thanks for what he is about to do. Our generation is blessed because we were created to be part of what he is about to do. I am sure many books will be written about what God did?
09/13/2022 Most people have no desire to grow old because your physical abilities diminish over time. Serving God during your younger years can minimize the effects of old age. You learn a lot of things serving him that bring peace to your life. We all know that stress makes you old quickly. Honoring your parents and authority have God's promise of a long life. Solomon said:

Proverbs 20:29
The glory of the young is their strength; the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old.

Do not believe that your age makes your expire like the world thinks we should. We never get too old for God. He is there for us for the long haul. Isaiah confirms this:

Isaiah 46:4 (New Living Translation)
I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

God will be there to take care of us. He does not want us to retire to live for ourselves but to go out and touch hearts and pray over those younger then we are. Titus also mentions our great value to our King:

Titus 2:2 (New Living Translation)
Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience.

We have a lot to teach the younger generation. They are watching and we need to demonstrate to them how to live. If you still think you need to be put out to pasture, read what John said:

1 John 13
13 I am writing to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I am writing to you who are young in the faith because you have won your battle with the evil one. 14 I have written to you who are God's children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in the faith because you are strong. God's word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one.

If you have been long time in serving Christ this part, "I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning." is for you. Get involved with Christ's body and put your experience to work. You are needed more than you think.

I am getting up there in years myself and my King has confirmed that he much more work for me to do. My age has not deterd my King at all from using me. You are not any different than I am.
09/08/2022 When I was a kid whenever I saw somebody that had something cool I would always say to myself that I am going to work hard to get what they have. I was never so jealous to the point where I had to have it right away. Sometimes years passed by before I got what I wanted. But today it is a different story. There is a lot of jealousy and envy going on. Great iniquities are occuring to get what we want. Americans have lost their honor for God and their fellow man. Honor is important to God. It is mentioned nearly 400 times in his word depending on the version.

Honor has two definitions defined as:
1. high respect; great esteem.
2. adherence to what is right or to a conventional standard of conduct.
Look at some of the synonyms:

Glory - Giving Glory to our King greatly honors him.

Importance - How much time I give my King is demonstrated by the godly life I live. This greatly honors our King.

Respect - How much we fear our King greatly honors him. This one should also apply to any non demonic authority.

Integrity - If your word is as binding as a written contract not only honors God but honors those working with you. They will know that you will keep your word.

Honesty - This greatly honors God and people will be confident that they will not get ripped off if you are in the room with them.

Ethics - This greatly honors God. These also prevent a lot of sins from materializing.

Morals - This honors God because you are doing things by his standards.

Goodness - This will not get you into heaven on its own merit but it greatly pleases our King.

Decency - The lack of this one causes major distractions and dishonors our King. Remember we are not to bring attention to ourselves but to keep focus on our King.

Justice - Whenever justice is demonstrated it greatly honors our King. After all God has been bringing justice to us for a long time.

Reliability - This one is about dead today. God is greatly honored by those who demonstrate this. Those around you will want to work with you.

Dependability - This one is about dead too. People will love you for this because they can trust you to get things done. It also honors God.

Faithfulness - This is God's favorite and it really pleases him:

Hebrews 11:6
6 And without faith it is impossible to Please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Paul talks about honor:

1 Thessalonians 4:4
Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor, 5 not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways. 6 Never harm or cheat a Christian brother in this matter by violating his wife, for the Lord avenges all such sins, as we have solemnly warned you before. 7 God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives. 8 Therefore, anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human teaching but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

If honor means anything to us we need to let a godly life rule us. This also means taking a stance against evil in our government and in God's church. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. We live to stand for our King. Next is:

Matthew 28:18-20 (New Living Translation)
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Now we will be honoring our King by our Godly actions and Godly living.
09/04/2022 The toughest thing Billy Graham had to deal with is disciplining those people who came forward. As many as 80% went back to their old ways. In order to keep these people on track one needs to at least support those who receive the message of Jesus Christ. Paul did this with Timothy:

2 Timothy 1:13-14 (Good News Translation)
Hold firmly to the true words that I taught you, as the example for you to follow, and remain in the faith and love that are ours in union with Christ Jesus. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, who lives in us, keep the good things that have been entrusted to you.

We all need some encouragement from time to time. Living a Godly life is imperative in showing people how they should live for Christ. We are to be living examples proving to people it can be done. Paul has us do the next step:

2 Corinthians 7:1 (New Living Translation)
Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.

Even striving to be the light to people around us we may still fall into sin. John has the answer to that:

1 John 1:7 (New Living Translation)
But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

But whatever we do follow the "what would Jesus do" philosophy. Jesus commands us to bring his word to those around us. James has something to say about this for those who don't.
.
James 1:22 (New Living Translation)
But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

Sometimes circumstances make it so we cannot say much about Christ but we are always free to live the Godly life. You keep it up and they will eventually want what you have.
09/02/2022 The number one thing my buddy sees when he Witnesses to gangs is their broken hearts. There is not very much hope in their lives. It is also interesting that none of them never ask what is Jesus or what is God. They have already heard of both. A lot of them will tell my buddy that they do not want to hear about Jesus. We all know that Jesus Christ convicts the heart. The reason why they and other so called Christians have not come to God is probably because of this:

1 John 2:4-6
4 If someone claims, "I know God," but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. 5 But those who obey God's word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. 6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.

Because the gangs have never truly understood who God or Jesus Christ are, they always ask my buddy about the number of sins they've committed. They firmly believe that Jesus Christ would not accept them the way they are. We are thankful that Jesus doesn't have a point system on sins. He is only interested in us asking forgiveness of those sins and to have a complete heart transformation to him. When the gangs realize this they want to come to Jesus Christ. They always tell my buddy that before we go home we want to make sure that we have our hearts right with God. This Is the Life they want to start living:

1 John 2:15-17
15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Now you are truly a Christian if you follow this. Just remember that even following this that God still can bless you abundantly. Just remember Malachi 3:10 where God asks you to test him with your finances. He always keeps his promise. To really get a Blessing keep your heart focused on Kingdom activities. Those gangs that give their hearts to Jesus want to be able to live for God in this manner.
09/01/2022 When my buddy brings the word of God to the gangs, he could care less what race they might be. He will stay with each gang as long as it takes to give their hearts to God's Kingdom. He wants ALL OF THEM to enter the Kingdom of God.

Did you know that God only looks at our hearts? Skin color or culture doesn't ever take place of the heart. Our government lately is just the opposite. A good heart is evil and it needs to be censored. Skin color is everything. "Black Lives Matter" should be "All Lives Matter" Even Paul agrees with me:

Galatians 3:28 (Good News Translation)
So there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, between slaves and free people, between men and women; you are all one in union with Christ Jesus.

If man would follow this verse all of the division going on today would stop. God's blessings also follow this verse. Depending on how you worship our King and how you tithe will determine the amount of blessings you receive. Your skill color does not matter to him.

Do not expect God to have sympathy for what another race did to your ancestors. All races have been persecuted at one time or another. Jesus died for all races to give everyone the opportunity to get into the Kingdom of God. He expects us to forgive others as he forgives us. Skin color is not optional in the forgiveness game. Mark confirms this:

Mark 11:25
25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, Forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may Forgive you your sins."

So forget about the race card and concentrate on the persons heart. This is the only thing that is important. Paul confirms this:

Ephesians 2:19 (Good News Translation)
So then, you Gentiles are not foreigners or strangers any longer; you are now citizens together with God's people and members of the family of God.

Don't miss out on God's blessings just because you have a different set of rules for each race as our government wants to push. Jesus died for all races and his love is exactly the same for each race. If we do not see all races as Jesus does, we are dishonoring him immensely.
08/26/2022 Have you ever thought about how God made us. We all have talents. Each talent he gives us is designed to be used to worship him. Those talents can also edify the body as Paul says:

Romans 12:4-5 (Good News Translation)
We have many parts in the one body, and all these parts have different functions. In the same way, though we are many, we are one body in union with Christ, and we are all joined to each other as different parts of one body.

The enemy plans out ways to get us envious of other peoples talents. I love our worship teams but the enemy will tell you that your talents are miniscule. He than will tell you how cool you would look on that stage. This is the reason God strives to get us to have Kingdom hearts so we see our talents the way he does. There are many people who serve God behind the scenes and they are storing more treasure in the Kingdom of God than those getting earthly recognition. Your talent is needed to complete Christs church.

The next thing we have to realize that God calls us to do certain tasks. If you are not called by God to do it you may get hurt.

On Tuesday I went to a meeting that was interesting but I was in there for three hours and I was too stiff to drive home. It was nearly 9pm but the evening was beautiful. I decided to take a walk and headed east. As I passed the Chase building I noticed the homeless there. One guy was laying on the cement like he was already asleep. I said to myself that my buddy would go a get these guys some pizzas but I was not sure of myself that this was wise so I continued walking. The minute this thought crossed my mind God woke my buddy up and said, "Get 4 pizzas and take some pillows, blankets and the clothing bag you have. Head over to the Chase building in Greeley." My buddy questioned God about which one. God just said just get going you are wasting time. He was really confused when God said I was involved.

I later found out the guy on the ground had a knife and God warned my buddy about it. The other homeless there saw the pizzas he was carrying and mumbled to that guy laying down not to do anything stupid because we get to eat. When my buddy aproached that man he commanded, "Be still in the name of Jesus Christ." That man was physically paralyzed with fear and immediately promised not to stab anyone again as he handed over the knife over to him. They all had good manners as they ate. They then asked if he had any extra clothing. That is when he brought out the extra pillows, blankets and clothing. The guys in the park noticed what was going on and they also came over to eat. God always make sure he has enough. My buddy never wastes an opportunity to talk about Jesus Christ to anyone. Some of them gave there lives to Jesus Christ that very night.

You see, I may have been stabed if I would have gone over there. Even taking that walk was dangerous but since I was barefooted, they thought I was homeless. They continued to watch but did not come after me. I have been called to financially support God's ministries and to write to help strengthen our walk with God.

Yes, I would like to experience what my buddy sees first hand. But I have learned that what I am doing is pleasing God and I get to hear the reports from everyone. I have been putting stuff up to make people laugh. This is important to Glorify God by what I do and I have been called to do this. My buddy on the other side has been called to face the pistols and knives to bring Jesus Christ to the gangs, cartels, prostitutes and people on the streets.

Everyone needs to find out what ministry God has called you to. Don’t worry God sometimes waits until we get older. God's events determine when God calls us. With all that is going on today God is calling his army so be ready. That means you!
08/25/2022 I consider myself a mature Christian but I still deal with doubt. God has me investing in silver because it is going to be good when he releases his Glory over the world. I believe it will happen yet this year. He also has me investing in families and gangs both. He always provides the resources in time so that I can do all three things as he asks. In other words, he has NEVER FAILED. When circumstances come against me, my faith seem to diminish and I become anxious like my King is going to abandon me. I start thinking about bad things that COULD happen and I would not be able to handle it. David experienced the same thing:

Psalm 94:18-19 (New Living Translation)
I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.

Many times God will use Christians in my life for that renewed hope and cheer. I appreciate that. You to can be that for other Christians also. We can also pray to our King. God will listen:

Psalm 116:1-2 (New Living Translation)
I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

So, why is it when our faith is tested we began doubting with our King's track record? I need to understand the authority of God like the Centurion did:

Matthew 8:8-10
8 The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."

10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, "Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

He was confident that Jesus was unlimited in how he could perform the miracle. No doubt here at all. This may be the first time this centurion experienced Jesus at all but still he had no doubt that Jesus could accomplish healing his servant anywhere on the planet.

I personally have experienced things from God and I should be as confident as this Centurion. The problem is that we will keep dealing with this until we have the faith of the Centurion. A lot of our doubting comes from the enemy in the spiritual warefare going on today. Jesus wants us to encourage one another to help eliminate doubt. We may need to pray that God binds the enemy who brings the spirit of doubt into our lives. I pray that I could have the faith of the Centurion so that I could blow Jesus away by my great faith. I definitely need to work on building my faith to do this. I really believe it is possible for this to happen. It just requires faith and a good personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
08/21/2022 Everyone seems stressed out anymore. Especially with what the Biden administration is doing to everyone. But I have noticed that Christians who serve our King and take responsibility for the things God gives us here on this earth to take care of seem to have fewer signs of stress to the point of showing peace. Most of the time the enemy tries to attack those who serve God but they still do not exibit the stress of fear like the rest of the world. People who call themselves Christians but do not serve God are never attacked by the enemy. He already has you right where he wants you being ineffective for the Kingdom.

The reason the Christian who exibits peace understand the power of Gods Love quoted by Paul:

Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Isaiah confirms the work our powerful God:

Isaiah 33:22 (New Living Translation)
For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us.

They also get peace from knowing he is always watching and how valuable they are to God:

Mathew 10:28-31
28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. 30 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.

They also know God is there for the long haul:

Jeremiah 29:11 New Living Translation
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

The final step is to have the faith that these things will happen even if God seems quiet. Sometimes the trials we face may seem like we have been abandoned. God may be waiting for you to pray for wisdom or to even forgive someone. Never blame God for not giving you peace because of the consequences of your sins.

I definitely want to serve God the way they do to experience peace even through the trials of the enemy and everyday living. The secret is that personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Get to know him by reading God's word and invite the Holy Spirit inside to manage your life. Peace will follow.
08/19/2022 Several year ago I began to help my buddy with God's gang ministry that God gave him on a challenge. God prepared me for this in high school by having me read the "Cross and the Switch Blade". I could not wait to see the movie. It was decades later that I put that interest to work. This is when I began to see what living really was about. Just hearing about the gangs we personally feed while my buddy brings the word to them is exciting. They are getting saved and this is all part of the great commission. This is why Paul wrote:

Philippians 1:21 (New Living Translation)
For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.

God just did not stop here. We have been called to bless his children in poor sections in Denver with money for food. God is so cool. He brings two families that the spouses are usually sisters. There have also been brother and sister and occasionally there are two brothers. All the families love the Lord and even their children can out pray most adults. Nothing can beat changing someones life in Christ and increasing their faith. These people are so cool. The blessed families come to other families and pray with them for their chance to receive God's blessing. All these families know what it is like to live for Christ. They are an example to all of us. My buddy and I live what Paul talked about in this verse.

Once you have that personal relationship with Jesus Christ and understand God's Kingdom you want to go there. I doubt God is going to come and pick me up like Elijah:

2 Kings 2:11
As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a chariot of fire appeared, drawn by horses of fire. It drove between the two men, separating them, and Elijah was carried by a whirlwind into heaven.

This means that I will have to wait until I expire to see our King. I have been told that if we really love people that we will want to take as many people with us as we can as the Holy Spirit prepares their hearts. He just needs us to deliver the message. As you read this Paul confirms this:

Philippians 1:22-26
22 But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better. 23 I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. 24 But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.

25 Knowing this, I am convinced that I will remain alive so I can continue to help all of you grow and experience the joy of your faith. 26 And when I come to you again, you will have even more reason to take pride in Christ Jesus because of what he is doing through me.

My buddy and I have both decided to continue to do the will of God as long as he wants to use us. We are going to use this opportunity to store up more treasure in God's Kindom. Our King said that it is Ok to do that. When you live for Christ you get to see some awesome miracles. My buddy would always get thrown on the ground or become a basketball as he was thrown in the back of his truck. Many times he would deliver the message with a pistol on the back of his head. As we continued living for Christ we came together with a specific prayer to prevent harm to his body. This prayer was immediately answered. He still had to face the pistols though. We came together and prayed that when my buddy showed to the gangs the Word of God that they would put their pistols away. To this day the leader signals to his men to put their pistols away when he holds the Bible.

There is a lot more here then the power of prayer. When you live for Christ you begin to pray differently. You become more Kingdom focused. O yes those prayer are still powerful. When my buddy went to Chicago to witness to the Street 18 gang, God had him place his Bible on the windshield of the car. When the leader saw the Bible, he had his men put their pistols away. This is the only vehicle that never saw a bullet hole. Every other car that passed by these guys was shot to pieces.

You see living for Christ also brings power into your life and has an impact on other peoples lives. 42 men gave their hearts to Jesus Christ in Chicago. This is physically impossible for something like this unless you live your life for Jesus Christ.
08/18/2022 As Christians we know there is forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. This can be a trap for Christians if they do not understand the full meaning of what Jesus did. Jesus will erase those sins forever but you may face consequences for your actions. Others around you may also be effected by what you have done. Jeremiah talks about this:

Jeremiah 32:18
You show unfailing love to thousands, but you also bring the consequences of one generation’s sin upon the next. You are the great and powerful God, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

America has many idols today which money is number 1. Our past sins could even cause this:

Ezekiel 44:12
But they encouraged my people to worship idols, causing Israel to fall into deep sin. So I have taken a solemn oath that they must bear the consequences for their sins, says the Sovereign Lord.

This is why God wants us to live the clean life to prevent hardships on ourselves and on others. Paul confirms this:

2 Corinthians 7:1 (New Living Translation)
Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.

When I was in college, youth makes us feel invicible. I had a guy tell me he was going to continue having worldly fun and ask for forgiveness later. Even you young people are not guaranteed tomorrow. Lets start serving Jesus Christ today and continue to do so. We do not want to reap the wrath of the consequences of our sin. Let us also think about others so they are not effected by the consequences of our sin either.
08/16/2022 Psalm 119:14 (New Living Translation)
I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches.

This is an interesting verse in the fact that I would rather have his riches. After all the Pharisees went to school to learn about Gods laws. I am old enough that I do not want to do that. Even reading about the things about the law in the old testament was not the type of reading that excites me. One reason why I never became a lawyer.

I am thankful that Jesus Christ came to free us from the bondage of the law. Everything placed in the law was designed to protect us from ourselves and to honor the true God. Gods own word can still guide us to live the life he wants. Man though has a tendency to do what he wants ignoring God's law. This always get us into trouble.

One thing I have noticed is that those individuals who really love God get excited about reading his word. I have seen the excitement those people have finding new truth and wisdom from reading God's word. I am not a reader at all but I have to admit I have missed many things while reading. When they are Revealed later, I ask myself, "Why did I not see this before?"

This is the way God invented his word. Even mature Christians have not discovered everything in God's word. Psalm 119 talks a lot about our attitude of what God commands of us. We need to have the attitude these people had towards God's word.

Psalm 119:30 (New Living Translation)
I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations.

Psalm 119:160 (New Living Translation)
The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever
08/10/2022 Everyone talks about listening to God but not too many talk about the voice of God. I found some doodling that someone did on telegram listing in columns the way God speaks and the way that Satan speaks.

God's voice ---------------------------- Satans Voice

Stills you ------------------------------- rushes you

Leads you ---------------------------- pushes you

Reassures you ---------------------- frightens you

Enlightens you ---------------------- confuses you

Encourages you ------------------- discourages you

Comforts you ----------------------- worries you

Calms you ---------------------------- obsesses you

Convicts you ------------------------ condemns you

Notice that the first one is "still you". I notice there are many verses that talk about "still"

Psalm 27:14
Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

Psalm 37:7
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes

Psalm 46:10 (New Living Translation)
“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world."

Exodus 14:13
But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again

Jeremiah 47:6
Ah, sword of the Lord, how long will it be before you rest? Return back to your scabbard. Cease and be still

Mark 4:39
Then he stood up and rebuked the wind, and he said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Is this a clue that being still is necessary to get the most out of our relationship with Jesus Christ. I know he did this when he prayed to the Father in the garden to prepare for the next day.

The last one in the list deals with conviction and condemnation. Neither sound like much fun but conviction as said in these verses:

John 16:8
And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.

Jude 1:15
to execute judgment on the people of the world. He will convict every person of all the ungodly things they have done and for all the insults that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

These verses are to focus us on cleaning up our lives to become the servants God wants. On the other hand Satan minimizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ by telling us we are too evil to be of any value to Jesus Christ. Since you are so bad, it would be much better to not worry about it and just go back to your worldly life. Because of what Jesus Christ did this is a lie. My buddy says almost every gang member will tell him that they have done to many bad things that Christ will not want them. But he will tell them that Jesus does not keep a point system on sin but is looking for anyone willing to turn their hearts to him and ask for forgiveness. These verses confirm this:

Romans 5:9
And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.

Romans 5:16
And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.

Now when we hear a voice, how does it compare to what is on the list? God’s voice will match the first column. This also was written on that doodle:

"God is a God of love and order. if the voice you are hearing doesn't sound like those things listed above then they are not from him."

I am not sure why he put the other thing with God's voice but it is very very true:

"God is never early and he is never late. He is always right on time and his plans for you are good."
