You allow them to produce food from the earth— As Americans we witness God's blessing on our food supply every day. When we test God as what will happen during the tribulation the opposite will happen. Do not mock God if you want to continue to see God's glory in producing abundant food supplies. We have enough food in this country to feed everyone today if we are willing to help as simply feeding a homeless person. This action will change our nation! "America - One nation under Jesus Christ" 08/27/2025 Have you ever prayed to our heavenly father and thought about him stopping what he is doing to listen to your words. David sure did envision God doing this: Psalm 116:1-2 NLT I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! Just like David, if we believe God stoops to our level to listen to our words, we would have a stronger prayer life. If our words honor his name, he bends over even quicker. Selfish ambition is not a good way to get God's attention. After all "Jesus is Lord" and he is a master at it. I cannot hold a candle to the awesomeness of Jesus. It is amazing how many people believe and/or live like he is "not Lord" and wonder why their prayer life is in shambles. 08/26/2025 We all know that King David is not a doctor but yet he wrote this: Psalm 139:13 NLT 13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. David has never seen the images of an ultrasound or a camera scoping out the uterus. Today's doctors have seen all this stuff yet some choose to believe whats in the womb is NOT human life. God even says we are known even before conception: Jeremiah 1:5 NLT “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” It looks like we are human even at day zero in God's eyes. Is it the love of money that makes some doctors believe the opposite? Timothy warns us about this: 1 Timothy 6:10 NLT For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. If it is not money, it is fear of the opinion of others. Solomon says: Proverbs 14:2 NLT Those who follow the right path fear the Lord; those who take the wrong path despise him. When we choose wrong over right we despise the Lord. Make sure that you are accepted: Acts 10:35 NLT In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right. It is so important for all of us that we know as much about Jesus as possible to prevent going down those destructive paths. God's written word is a great place to start and continue learning! 08/21/2025 Here are five things you should say to God every morning to feel the change in your life. Number 1: Psalm 118:24 NLT 24 This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. AND Psalm 118:1 1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Start your day with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of life and the new opportunities ahead. Number 2: Proverbs 3:6 NLT 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Submit to him and he will make your path straight. Ask God to lead your steps according to his will. Trust in his guidance. Number 3: Strengthen me Lord for today's challenges- Philippians 4:13 NLT 13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Seek Gods strength to overcome any obstacles you may face. With him you can conquer anything that honors his name. Number 4: Fill me with your peace and joy. Romans 15:13 NLT 13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust to him. Ask for his peace and joy to fill your heart and bring calmness of happiness throughout the day. Number 5: Help me to love others as you love me. John 13:34 NLT 34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Pray for a heart that loves others unconditionally, reflecting God's love on all you do. When one talks about love always remember this: 1 John 4:19 NLT 19 We love each other because he loved us first. "Jesus is Lord" and his love surpasses all! 08/17/2025 God really thinks highly of us: Ephesians 2:10 NLT For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. God made me and you great and gave us Jesus as a role model to do amazing things. Then why is it when I have time to contemplate our God that I do not have the excitement and understanding that David has about God: Psalm 139:1-12 1 You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. 5 You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. 7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. Everything in these verses describe our God accurately. I need to continue to understand who our God is so that I can describe him like David does. The Holy Spirit will help our literary skill to make our words come to life to describe the only living God. People around us need to know about the power our God who sent his Son Jesus to redeem us. We may not be able to remember a lot of bible verses. But we need to know enough about God to be able to accurately describe our God in our own words. Jesus is Lord and we are his representatives! 08/16/2025 If you want to leave a legacy serving God remember to do this: 2 Corinthians 10:17-18 NLT As the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.” When people commend themselves, it doesn’t count for much. The important thing is for the Lord to commend them. If God commends you, you will leave a legacy that will be remembered. Most of the greats never served God to make a name for themselves. Pride will never be honored by God because it does not glorify his name. It moves the focus away from him and his Son to you. Jesus is Lord! We serve him, he does not serve us. 08/12/2025 One thing I notice it seems like more and more people are getting tattoos. As a Christian I feel God does not like it: Leviticus 19:28 NLT “Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the Lord. Our bodies are temple to the Holy Spirit. I myself could lose a few pounds to make my body even more healthy. A healthy body is not for gloating over men but enabling us to better serve God. The better are bodies are in shape the easier it will be to accomplish the tasks Jesus asks us to do. Many of you already have to bodies that are fit. Just make sure you allow the Holy Spirit to live in that body. He will also live in not so perfect bodies without complaining but remember that the Holy Spirit represents both God and Jesus. So make an effort to take care of their home by exercising and keeping dirt out like pornography from contaminating the rooms. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NLT Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. So you got tattoos before you were saved, use those tattoos to tell a story to others how God got you to where you are at today. I know that God would rather have you glorify his name over getting the tattoos removed. God made us beautiful already, why change it. 2 Corinthians 7:1 NLT Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God. 08/11/2025 How many of us get wrapped up in the gift of salvation and forget about the God who sent his Son to give this gift? I feel that too many of us including myself have lost that "reverent fear" of God. I looked up the definition: Reverent fear - refers to a deep respect, awe, and veneration for God, rather than a feeling of terror or dread. It involves recognizing God's holiness, power, and authority, and responding with obedience, worship, and a desire to live in accordance with His will. This fear is the foundation of wisdom and a key element in developing a meaningful relationship with God. Not Terror, but Awe: . Reverent fear is not about being afraid of God in a way that inspires terror. Instead, it's about recognizing His greatness and majesty with profound respect and awe. Respect for Authority: . It involves acknowledging God's absolute authority and sovereignty, and understanding that His ways are higher than our own. Foundation for Wisdom: . The Bible often speaks of the fear of the Lord as the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). This suggests that a reverent fear of God is essential for understanding truth and living a righteous life. Motivation for Obedience: . Reverent fear can be a powerful motivator for obedience to God's commands and living in accordance with His will. Expression of Love: . Ultimately, reverent fear is an expression of love and devotion to God, as it reflects a deep appreciation for His character and His love for humanity. In essence, reverent fear is a positive and transformative force in the life of a believer, leading to a deeper relationship with God and a more fulfilling life. Even though I believe AI is going to become more evil than good, this definition was generated by AI. I was surprised how it honored God. Who knows, maybe God was messing with AI to make sure it did not screw up the definition. Many of us may exhibit most of these traits but God wants us to live the definition in full. It is not impossible and there are people today who have "reverent fear" of God. When we lose our reverent fear we begin to not care or worse challenge the ideals of God by believing in things like abortion, homosexuality, transgender, and worshiping many Gods. It becomes totally cool to our deceived minds. Once your reverent fear comes back you will want to fight against anything that is evil. Your attitude becomes amazing: 1 Peter 1:17 NLT And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time here as “temporary residents.” Colossians 3:22 NLT Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything you do. Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. Serve them sincerely because of your reverent fear of the Lord. This last verse also shows how we should deal with our bosses. Jesus is Lord so we need to show some "reverent fear" to the man who gave his life for us. 08/09/2025 Do you ever struggle with your self-esteem? This is the favorite ploy of the enemy to destroy us. He uses our short comings to make us feel inferior. If you would get the opinion of those in government, they think we are all inferior. Jesus's quote is the only one that counts: Luke 12:6-7 NLT “What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. We are valuable to our King. But not so valuable that if we do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, we will not be saved. If you are not living your life the way you should, just repent like the thief on the cross: Luke 23:40-43 NLT 40 But the other criminal protested, “Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? 41 We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” 42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” 43 And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.” It really is that easy to come back to him, but this thief was granted a last-minute opportunity that most people will never experience. That is why it is important to get on his track today. Jesus is anxious to forget about our sins, but this means we change how we live: Galatians 6:7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. My final thought is that we are all valuable to our King, but I am not more valuable to Jesus than you are assuming we are both serving him. Even though God uses people to accomplish his events we will always need him more to help overcome the enemy. Jesus is willing, but are we? I am probably like many of you where I have weak areas in my walk. I also know "Jesus is Lord" and is capable of getting me back on his track too. Jesus is a gentleman and he will never force us to do anything. Living for Jesus requires we know him. Not knowing him is like the Indiana Jones movie "Last Crusade" which had the cups to drink from. The knight said, "Choose wisely" when picking a cup. The bad guy grabbed the jeweled laced cup, drank and died. The knight looked at Indy and said, "He chose poorly". Indy knew that Jesus was a carpenter's son and made the decision to pick the one made of wood. Indy used the water in the cup to save his dad in the end because he knew more about Jesus. Even though this is a science fiction movie the principal of knowing Jesus is still accurate. The more we know what Jesus wants the better our walk will be if we continue to love him. God's written word is a good place to start in knowing more about Jesus. 08/07/2025 Check this verse out and see how the nouns are listed: Isaiah 33:22 (New Living Translation) For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us. 1. Judge - Naturally as humans we make poor judgement calls. It is great to have a Lord that is the perfect judge. 2. Lawgiver - God gives us laws to help minimize the dumb stuff we do. We are like a toddler that has to stick that metal fork in the electrical outlet . 3. King - Our Lord is the King of kings, which makes him awesome in my book but it was listed last. Maybe the order was coincidence or is there a reason. We do know that the "Lord of lords" is good at all three. It is written that only our Lord Jesus can save us: John 14:6 NLT 6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. Looks like all other paths take you straight to Hell which is the only other option. Another thing that is written that only our Lord does is: Matthew 6:30 NLT And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? Jesus never leaves us even if we think he has. I too have experienced those days where things seem dark. The enemy loves these moments. Let's not give him the satisfaction by losing hope! Psalm 149:4 NLT For the Lord delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. 08/05/2025 I notice that people who really know the Lord are the only ones who seem to get it. Woke is not in their vocabulary. Psalm 119:130 NLT The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand. When you reject Jesus it usually leads to a lot of foolish thinking. One of the reasons Jesus sent the Holy Spirit was to keep us from falling in the trap of stupidity. I hate to see how I would see the world today without Jesus Christ. We all need to be thankful for the wisdom the Holy Spirit gives us. I do have to admit I can still do some dumb things but let's not aggravate it by not knowing the King of kings. 08/04/2025 How many of us would like to know what the future holds. God wants to share these things with us: Jeremiah 33:2-3 NLT “This is what the Lord says—the Lord who made the earth, who formed and established it, whose name is the Lord: Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. If you want God to give you direct information on which tech stock or which crypto to buy, you are probably out of luck in this promise. God wants to give intel on the truth and to prepare us for what may be coming. What ever he shares will always honor his name. 08/03/2025 When we come together as a body of Jesus Christ, do we do this: Psalm 100:1-5 NLT A psalm of thanksgiving. 1 Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! [God wants too audibly hear our voices even if he reads our thoughts. Remember that others will hear your praises that honor our King. You also show you are not embarrassed to honor his name in front of others.] 2 Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. [Does your heart reflect this attitude? It may be time to get that excitement back because God loves excitement for him. The enemy tries to steal this from us. Beware of what he is trying to do.] 3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. [Satan knows the Lord is God too. Your heart should reveal the rest of this verse.] 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. [When we enter his presence, this should be what our heart wants.] 5 For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. [This is the picture of the God we serve. Since Jesus is Lord, he will make sure it happens as long as we joyfully serve him.] 08/02/2025 Have you ever wondered what questions that Jesus will ask each one of us on judgement day? He will definitely ask a question on this topic for many of us: James 1:22 NLT But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. By not doing what God asks us to do could mean someone could miss out on an opportunity to get saved. Jonah is a good example of this. Ninevah only repented because of the message Jonah gave them from God. The city would have been destroyed quickly. Doing what God asks could be the difference between life and death. Jesus did the will of the Father and he was rejected by the people many times. The results of our efforts may not be what we expect but we did what God asked us to do. It was never mentioned in scripture, but Ninevah eventually went back to doing evil and was permanently destroyed. Did Ninevah get another warning before they were destroyed? Only God knows the answer to this question. If we truly respect and love Jesus, we will want to do what he asks. Just like he did for us when his Father sent him to be the last sacrifice. The things he asks us to do are minor compared to what he did for us. As always, Jesus is Lord! 07/30/2025 They say that no one likes a show off. God thinks differently. He wants us to show ourselves off to the world in a manner that people will see that the true God is behind it: Matthew 5:14-16 NLT 14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Do not be embarrassed to show off Christ to people. By watching you, they will want what you have and proclaim "Jesus is Lord!" 07/28/2025 For everyone who loves the Lord and if Paul was alive today, I could see him doing this for us: Philippians 1:3-6 NLT Paul’s Thanksgiving and Prayer 3 Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. 4 Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, 5 for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. 6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Each one of could apply this verse to those around us who are serving God. I know the day-to-day things can be a real headache and we may not want to do this. Paul wrote this verse in Romans: Romans 8:18 NLT The Future Glory 18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. Jesus will never abandon us. In John, Jesus explains that we will soon understand what happens in our life: John 13:7 NLT 7 Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.” Until that day happens Peter has some advice: 1 Peter 5:7 NLT 7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Worrying can play with your mind allowing the enemy to make you feel like an outsider, but Paul wrote this: Ephesians 2:19-20 NLT A Temple for the Lord 19 So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. 20 Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. Even with this promise we can still mess up, just ask for forgiveness. We always should continue to model our lives for Jesus after he forgives us. This is what David said about the God we serve: Psalm 30:5 NLT 5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. In order to model our lives after Jesus we have to understand the love He demonstrates for us. He requires that we do the same for others. Paul talked about this to: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NLT 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Even though he commands us to love one another, he promised good things for us that will glorify his name: Jeremiah 29:11-12 NLT 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. Pay close attention to verse 12. Do not ruin God's plan for you because of an evil heart. Solomon knew what would happen: Proverbs 4:23 NLT 23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. You heart does control your life and is used by God to reflect who we are. I am no bragger myself in having that amazing heart. God will be the first one to tell you this. But I am not going to quit trying either. "Jesus is Lord" and he "loves me and you" and is "patiently" waiting for me to get it right. 07/27/2025 Sometimes I have to read a verse several times to grasp its meaning. This is one of them: Hebrews 12:1 NLT Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. The church was really growing when this verse was written. The power of the church is measured by the strength of it people. I think Paul wrote this book because he was big into racing. He wanted us to get rid of everything that would make us ineffective in Christ's church. He totally understood that the enemy can be crushed if Christ's church is filled with Holy Spirit filled people with the desire to do the will of God. Other then the power of prayer which has the greatest power. Christ's true church is a force where the enemy will flee. The worst thing that happens to a church is when it losses its power, the enemy has now lost its fear of us and will infiltrate the body to divide us. He wins the prize after the divide is complete. The author of Hebrews knew this could happen. God made us to live as a body and to live with him. Just as we need Jesus, we need each other: "Just as God designed it". Jesus is Lord! 07/21/2025 How many of us have felt like this as we live out our lives: O Lord, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way? How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand? Turn and answer me, O Lord my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die. Don’t let my enemies gloat, saying, “We have defeated him!” Don’t let them rejoice at my downfall. I heard that it took 15 years for David to become king after Samuel anointed him for the position. These are the words of David in Psalm 13:1-4. But he never forgot who Our God is: Psalm 13:5-6 5 But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. 6 I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me. So just hang in there. Many of us are going through things too that are a challenge to us. God lets life to be overcoming because it shows that we need him. There are things that only he can fix. Sometimes we have to grow before we can be used by the King of kings. That is why "Jesus is Lord". He will never abandon us. Just like David had to, we need to wait upon the timing of the Lord. Romans 15:4 NLT Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. 07/18/2025 If we truly love our Lord, the first thing we look for is "What do you want from me?". Both God's Word and the Holy Spirit have the answer to this question. These are the results you should be seeing: Psalm 119:7 NLT As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should! Does your life reflect what this verse says. If not this world may have too much control over you. Even I have to pay attention to this because it is easy to get wrapped up in things that do not grow us spiritually. Ask your self this question each day. "Am I going about this day doing things that please you?" This will make you think about this verse. You are right. I have had to answer "No" to this question many times. But I am not going to give up and continue to fight the way I should be living. I am grateful that Jesus Christ forgives me when I mess up but I do not want to take advantage of this grace by falling into the ideas of this world that remove him from the throne. Let us all strive to do things that please the King. 07/11/2025 Have you every heard of the curse of the generations where bad things of each generation are passed down to the next generation? Could this be the result of having to much religious freedom in America of the wrong kind? God has something to say about this: Deuteronomy 5:8-10 NLT 8 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind, or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. 9 You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. 10 But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands. We need to remove all forms of worship from this country other than the worship of Yahweh and Yeshua. It greatly angers God in what we allow to happen in this country. If we attack these other religions in hate we are no better then they are. We can do legal things to stand against the spreading of this evil. We need to live like Christ so we can witness to these people that there is something better. There are two promises here. Option A: "I lay the sins of the parents upon their children;" The other is option B: "I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands." The latter happens only if when we get rid of all the fake religions in our land. God's word never changes and it means exactly the same thing today as when it was written. He is a jealous God and he deserves our respect and love. God gives us so much yet we want to worship dead things. Do people do this because they are dumb or is it because dead things don't ask things of us or show us our sins? All I know for sure is that God is real and Jesus is Lord!
