God has me investing in silver because it is going to be good when he releases his Glory over the world. I believe it will happen yet this year. He also has me investing in families and gangs both. He always provides the resources in time so that I can do all three things as he asks. In other words, he has NEVER FAILED. When circumstances come against me, my faith seem to diminish and I become anxious like my King is going to abandon me. I start thinking about bad things that COULD happen and I would not be able to handle it. David experienced the same thing: Psalm 94:18-19 (New Living Translation) I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. Many times God will use Christians in my life for that renewed hope and cheer. I appreciate that. You to can be that for other Christians also. We can also pray to our King. God will listen: Psalm 116:1-2 (New Living Translation) I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! So, why is it when our faith is tested we began doubting with our King's track record? I need to understand the authority of God like the Centurion did: Matthew 8:8-10 8 The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." 10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, "Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. He was confident that Jesus was unlimited in how he could perform the miracle. No doubt here at all. This may be the first time this centurion experienced Jesus at all but still he had no doubt that Jesus could accomplish healing his servant anywhere on the planet. I personally have experienced things from God and I should be as confident as this Centurion. The problem is that we will keep dealing with this until we have the faith of the Centurion. A lot of our doubting comes from the enemy in the spiritual warefare going on today. Jesus wants us to encourage one another to help eliminate doubt. We may need to pray that God binds the enemy who brings the spirit of doubt into our lives. I pray that I could have the faith of the Centurion so that I could blow Jesus away by my great faith. I definitely need to work on building my faith to do this. I really believe it is possible for this to happen. It just requires faith and a good personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 08/21/2022 Everyone seems stressed out anymore. Especially with what the Biden administration is doing to everyone. But I have noticed that Christians who serve our King and take responsibility for the things God gives us here on this earth to take care of seem to have fewer signs of stress to the point of showing peace. Most of the time the enemy tries to attack those who serve God but they still do not exibit the stress of fear like the rest of the world. People who call themselves Christians but do not serve God are never attacked by the enemy. He already has you right where he wants you being ineffective for the Kingdom. The reason the Christian who exibits peace understand the power of Gods Love quoted by Paul: Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Isaiah confirms the work our powerful God: Isaiah 33:22 (New Living Translation) For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us. They also get peace from knowing he is always watching and how valuable they are to God: Mathew 10:28-31 28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. 30 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. They also know God is there for the long haul: Jeremiah 29:11 New Living Translation 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. The final step is to have the faith that these things will happen even if God seems quiet. Sometimes the trials we face may seem like we have been abandoned. God may be waiting for you to pray for wisdom or to even forgive someone. Never blame God for not giving you peace because of the consequences of your sins. I definitely want to serve God the way they do to experience peace even through the trials of the enemy and everyday living. The secret is that personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Get to know him by reading God's word and invite the Holy Spirit inside to manage your life. Peace will follow. 08/19/2022 Several year ago I began to help my buddy with God's gang ministry that God gave him on a challenge. God prepared me for this in high school by having me read the "Cross and the Switch Blade". I could not wait to see the movie. It was decades later that I put that interest to work. This is when I began to see what living really was about. Just hearing about the gangs we personally feed while my buddy brings the word to them is exciting. They are getting saved and this is all part of the great commission. This is why Paul wrote: Philippians 1:21 (New Living Translation) For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. God just did not stop here. We have been called to bless his children in poor sections in Denver with money for food. God is so cool. He brings two families that the spouses are usually sisters. There have also been brother and sister and occasionally there are two brothers. All the families love the Lord and even their children can out pray most adults. Nothing can beat changing someones life in Christ and increasing their faith. These people are so cool. The blessed families come to other families and pray with them for their chance to receive God's blessing. All these families know what it is like to live for Christ. They are an example to all of us. My buddy and I live what Paul talked about in this verse. Once you have that personal relationship with Jesus Christ and understand God's Kingdom you want to go there. I doubt God is going to come and pick me up like Elijah: 2 Kings 2:11 As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a chariot of fire appeared, drawn by horses of fire. It drove between the two men, separating them, and Elijah was carried by a whirlwind into heaven. This means that I will have to wait until I expire to see our King. I have been told that if we really love people that we will want to take as many people with us as we can as the Holy Spirit prepares their hearts. He just needs us to deliver the message. As you read this Paul confirms this: Philippians 1:22-26 22 But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better. 23 I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. 24 But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live. 25 Knowing this, I am convinced that I will remain alive so I can continue to help all of you grow and experience the joy of your faith. 26 And when I come to you again, you will have even more reason to take pride in Christ Jesus because of what he is doing through me. My buddy and I have both decided to continue to do the will of God as long as he wants to use us. We are going to use this opportunity to store up more treasure in God's Kindom. Our King said that it is Ok to do that. When you live for Christ you get to see some awesome miracles. My buddy would always get thrown on the ground or become a basketball as he was thrown in the back of his truck. Many times he would deliver the message with a pistol on the back of his head. As we continued living for Christ we came together with a specific prayer to prevent harm to his body. This prayer was immediately answered. He still had to face the pistols though. We came together and prayed that when my buddy showed to the gangs the Word of God that they would put their pistols away. To this day the leader signals to his men to put their pistols away when he holds the Bible. There is a lot more here then the power of prayer. When you live for Christ you begin to pray differently. You become more Kingdom focused. O yes those prayer are still powerful. When my buddy went to Chicago to witness to the Street 18 gang, God had him place his Bible on the windshield of the car. When the leader saw the Bible, he had his men put their pistols away. This is the only vehicle that never saw a bullet hole. Every other car that passed by these guys was shot to pieces. You see living for Christ also brings power into your life and has an impact on other peoples lives. 42 men gave their hearts to Jesus Christ in Chicago. This is physically impossible for something like this unless you live your life for Jesus Christ. 08/18/2022 As Christians we know there is forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. This can be a trap for Christians if they do not understand the full meaning of what Jesus did. Jesus will erase those sins forever but you may face consequences for your actions. Others around you may also be effected by what you have done. Jeremiah talks about this: Jeremiah 32:18 You show unfailing love to thousands, but you also bring the consequences of one generation’s sin upon the next. You are the great and powerful God, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. America has many idols today which money is number 1. Our past sins could even cause this: Ezekiel 44:12 But they encouraged my people to worship idols, causing Israel to fall into deep sin. So I have taken a solemn oath that they must bear the consequences for their sins, says the Sovereign Lord. This is why God wants us to live the clean life to prevent hardships on ourselves and on others. Paul confirms this: 2 Corinthians 7:1 (New Living Translation) Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God. When I was in college, youth makes us feel invicible. I had a guy tell me he was going to continue having worldly fun and ask for forgiveness later. Even you young people are not guaranteed tomorrow. Lets start serving Jesus Christ today and continue to do so. We do not want to reap the wrath of the consequences of our sin. Let us also think about others so they are not effected by the consequences of our sin either. 08/16/2022 Psalm 119:14 (New Living Translation) I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches. This is an interesting verse in the fact that I would rather have his riches. After all the Pharisees went to school to learn about Gods laws. I am old enough that I do not want to do that. Even reading about the things about the law in the old testament was not the type of reading that excites me. One reason why I never became a lawyer. I am thankful that Jesus Christ came to free us from the bondage of the law. Everything placed in the law was designed to protect us from ourselves and to honor the true God. Gods own word can still guide us to live the life he wants. Man though has a tendency to do what he wants ignoring God's law. This always get us into trouble. One thing I have noticed is that those individuals who really love God get excited about reading his word. I have seen the excitement those people have finding new truth and wisdom from reading God's word. I am not a reader at all but I have to admit I have missed many things while reading. When they are Revealed later, I ask myself, "Why did I not see this before?" This is the way God invented his word. Even mature Christians have not discovered everything in God's word. Psalm 119 talks a lot about our attitude of what God commands of us. We need to have the attitude these people had towards God's word. Psalm 119:30 (New Living Translation) I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations. Psalm 119:160 (New Living Translation) The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever 08/10/2022 Everyone talks about listening to God but not too many talk about the voice of God. I found some doodling that someone did on telegram listing in columns the way God speaks and the way that Satan speaks. God's voice ---------------------------- Satans Voice Stills you ------------------------------- rushes you Leads you ---------------------------- pushes you Reassures you ---------------------- frightens you Enlightens you ---------------------- confuses you Encourages you ------------------- discourages you Comforts you ----------------------- worries you Calms you ---------------------------- obsesses you Convicts you ------------------------ condemns you Notice that the first one is "still you". I notice there are many verses that talk about "still" Psalm 27:14 Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. Psalm 37:7 Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes Psalm 46:10 (New Living Translation) “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world." Exodus 14:13 But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again Jeremiah 47:6 Ah, sword of the Lord, how long will it be before you rest? Return back to your scabbard. Cease and be still Mark 4:39 Then he stood up and rebuked the wind, and he said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Is this a clue that being still is necessary to get the most out of our relationship with Jesus Christ. I know he did this when he prayed to the Father in the garden to prepare for the next day. The last one in the list deals with conviction and condemnation. Neither sound like much fun but conviction as said in these verses: John 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. Jude 1:15 to execute judgment on the people of the world. He will convict every person of all the ungodly things they have done and for all the insults that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” These verses are to focus us on cleaning up our lives to become the servants God wants. On the other hand Satan minimizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ by telling us we are too evil to be of any value to Jesus Christ. Since you are so bad, it would be much better to not worry about it and just go back to your worldly life. Because of what Jesus Christ did this is a lie. My buddy says almost every gang member will tell him that they have done to many bad things that Christ will not want them. But he will tell them that Jesus does not keep a point system on sin but is looking for anyone willing to turn their hearts to him and ask for forgiveness. These verses confirm this: Romans 5:9 And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. Romans 5:16 And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. Now when we hear a voice, how does it compare to what is on the list? God’s voice will match the first column. This also was written on that doodle: "God is a God of love and order. if the voice you are hearing doesn't sound like those things listed above then they are not from him." I am not sure why he put the other thing with God's voice but it is very very true: "God is never early and he is never late. He is always right on time and his plans for you are good." 08/06/2022 Since president Trump took office in 2016 he has been working fervently trying to get rid of all the sex trafficking that's going on in the world. I have always asked myself, "What is the fascination with molesting young children?" This verse sums it all up: Matthew 19:14 (New Living Translation) But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” Jesus will stop whatever he is doing to spend time with our children. This verse proves that: Mark 10:13-16 13 One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. 14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” 16 Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them. Children represent the Kingdom of God. The enemy does not like anything that reminds him of the goodness of God, so he is perfectly willing to go out to attack our children. He is vicious towards our children whenever he attacks. These verses also tell how valuable our children are to our God: Matthew 18:1-4 About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” 2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. 3 Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. So you see our children are precious to God. It is easy to see why child pedophilia is an industry that is larger than big oil and big pharma combined. A child can fetch up to $240,000 on the black market. Because of the money that can be made, the problem is rampant world wide. A lot of it goes on underground where the public can't see it. President Trump is still blowing up these tunnels today to eradicate this evil. Jesus also had something to say about those attacking his children: Matthew 18:5-6 5 “And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. 6 But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. This is a curse. It is time to look at our children as a gift God that are more valuable than gold. When we instruct them how to serve our King, the gift becomes more exciting. Just remember that our kids are next in line to run our government. Lets encourage them to go in the way of serving God. Could you imagine a nation run by our grown up children who serve our King. I have to admit my generation is running our government today and it is a mess because we are leaving God out of the equation. We have lost our fear of God and have turned our backs on how to properly serve our King. It is assumed that it more fun to spend time seeking pleaure and money then serving God and bringing our children up to serve him. But what does God say about this assumption: Matthew 6:33 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. This verse shows the secret to success. But remember to pray over your kids as often you can. The enemy wants them bad. Jesus Christ wants them even more. The spiritual battle for our children rages on but prayer and binding the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ is the best way to win with our children. Our God always wins after the battle is done. 08/05/2022 I witnessed the destruction of my fields by a hail storm. Like many Christians I was disappointed that God did not intervene the disaster. After all I give more than 10 percent to God and this is not the way to fill the barns as Malachi 3:10 promises. I was even angry at times but began to minimize it. After all other people have gone through this and part of my neighbors also got it. The rest received none of it and this did not help me feel better. I talked with my buddy about this. He even prayed and asked God why he let this happen. When he answered him his response was amazingly interesting. He said, "I let it happen so I can demonstrate my power over this attack." I immediately was taken back to the time Lazarus was very sick. John 11:3-7 3 So the two sisters sent a message to Jesus telling him, “Lord, your dear friend is very sick.” 4 But when Jesus heard about it he said, “Lazarus’s sickness will not end in death. No, it happened for the glory of God so that the Son of God will receive glory from this.” 5 So although Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, 6 he stayed where he was for the next two days. 7 Finally, he said to his disciples, “Let’s go back to Judea.” At this point I realized how much I minimized God after everything happened. But to Glorify God, work still has to be done: John 11:8-14 8 But his disciples objected. “Rabbi,” they said, “only a few days ago the people in Judea were trying to stone you. Are you going there again?” 9 Jesus replied, “There are twelve hours of daylight every day. During the day people can walk safely. They can see because they have the light of this world. 10 But at night there is danger of stumbling because they have no light.” 11 Then he said, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but now I will go and wake him up.” 12 The disciples said, “Lord, if he is sleeping, he will soon get better!” 13 They thought Jesus meant Lazarus was simply sleeping, but Jesus meant Lazarus had died. 14 So he told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. 15 And for your sakes, I’m glad I wasn’t there, for now you will really believe. Come, let’s go see him.” Even the disciples minimized the power of Jesus. Mature Christians try to put God in a box not looking for a reason why God allows things to happen. Even when he arrived where Lazarus was, he was put into a box. Jesus made sure that the body was rotting to make sure no one would put him back in the box: John 11:17-26 17 When Jesus arrived at Bethany, he was told that Lazarus had already been in his grave for four days. 18 Bethany was only a few miles down the road from Jerusalem, 19 and many of the people had come to console Martha and Mary in their loss. 20 When Martha got word that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him. But Mary stayed in the house. 21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask.” 23 Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 “Yes,” Martha said, “he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.” 25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. 26 Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” When Jesus went to the grave everyone again had him in a box which angred him: John 11:33-44 33 When Jesus saw her weeping and saw the other people wailing with her, a deep anger welled up within him, and he was deeply troubled. 34 “Where have you put him?” he asked them. They told him, “Lord, come and see.” 35 Then Jesus wept. 36 The people who were standing nearby said, “See how much he loved him!” 37 But some said, “This man healed a blind man. Couldn’t he have kept Lazarus from dying?” 38 Jesus was still angry as he arrived at the tomb, a cave with a stone rolled across its entrance. 39 “Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them. But Martha, the dead man’s sister, protested, “Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible.” 40 Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?” 41 So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. 42 You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.” 43 Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!” Is God going to use the Lazarus effect on my corn field? Maybe; but it is time to get our God out of that box and let him decide how he is going to do it. I have discovered that my idea on how things should be done keeps sticking our King back into that box. When and how God does it will be epic. I need to have the faith to wait and let him "just do it". You watch what happens when you let God "just do it". It will anger a lot of people who are serving the enemy. Jesus experienced this: John 11:45-53 45 Many of the people who were with Mary believed in Jesus when they saw this happen. 46 But some went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. 47 Then the leading priests and Pharisees called the high council[g] together. “What are we going to do?” they asked each other. “This man certainly performs many miraculous signs. 48 If we allow him to go on like this, soon everyone will believe in him. Then the Roman army will come and destroy both our Temple and our nation.” 49 Caiaphas, who was high priest at that time, said, “You don’t know what you’re talking about! 50 You don’t realize that it’s better for you that one man should die for the people than for the whole nation to be destroyed.” [Even bad guys can prophecy when he said Jesus will die for the people. His death changed the world forever. The Pharisees used the Roman empire as an excuse to stop Jesus. They really did not believe in what they told the people would really happen. ] 51 He did not say this on his own; as high priest at that time he was led to prophesy that Jesus would die for the entire nation. 52 And not only for that nation, but to bring together and unite all the children of God scattered around the world. 53 So from that time on, the Jewish leaders began to plot Jesus’ death. 54 As a result, Jesus stopped his public ministry among the people and left Jerusalem. He went to a place near the wilderness, to the village of Ephraim, and stayed there with his disciples. You see that Jesus stopped ministering there. Look how many people lost out on blessings because of the evil of man. Let's encourage those who do work for our King. Get rid of the Jealousy and get behind those who serve God. 07/31/2022 It is interesting that in the world how much people want to prove themselves in athletics. We will constantly train or work out to become the best at what we are. In the end we hope to be faster and stronger than the next guy. It is cool to win a gold medal. But when it comes to the things of God we many times become complacent. Why do I need to excel at God's stuff? Many times we say we will pray about things. But as time goes on we forget about it. God's things also require our action like running a race. James confirms this: James 2:26 26 Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works. Why can we not be as excited about doing Godly things as we are things of men? There is a prize more valuable then a gold metal in the Kingdom of Heaven when we run the race for God. But that all requires faith that we believe it will be there. The word confirms this is true: Philippians 3:14 (New Living Translation) I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. God has a marathon of people to witness to. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone and it is a race to get as many into God's Kingdom before they expire. Hebrews talks about this. Hebrews 12:1 (New Living Translation) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. I know it is not cool to brag about how many people we save but Jesus would rather have us be preaching the good news then doing nothing. Paul confirms this: Philippians 1:18 But that doesn’t matter. Whether their motives are false or genuine, the message about Christ is being preached either way, so I rejoice. And I will continue to rejoice. Lets try to have both a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and join the race to save lives. The most scary verses are: Mathew 7:21 I Never Knew You 21 “Not everyone who calls me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do. 22 When the Judgment Day comes, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! In your name we spoke God's message, by your name we drove out many demons and performed many miracles!’ 23 Then I will say to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you wicked people!’ Make sure our focus and all of our motives for doing anything honor and bring Glory to our King! 07/25/2022 It is hard to believe all of the wickedness that is going on in America today. If anyone speaks the truth they are censored and even banned on social media and mainstream media. They go to a liar to truth check the truth and naturally it comes back false. If you say God made us to be either a man or woman, you are a liar. If you say God begins life at conception, you are a liar and need to be banned from speaking about anything. The truth is now considered to be a conspiracy theory and that person speaking the truth is to be ridiculed. Romans talks about this: Romans 1:18-30 God’s Anger at Sin 18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. --[People know about truth but have no fear about the things of God. They become demented to the point they serve the devil. The next verse talks about this:] 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. --[Look how stupid they are when they can't even define what a woman is. Something just as stupid is taking the covid vax multiple times which cannot even prevent one from getting covid. Another thing is saying an electric car is zero emission when the electricity comes from a polluting power plant. You get God out of the equation and stupidity becomes rampant. This is the next thing that happens: ] 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. --[Americans have a lot more class then this. We worship cars, our wallets, ourselves and the devil if we need some extra wealth or fame. God was forced to do this because of our sin:] 24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. --[Remember God had Paul write this last section and he seared it into his word. If you are a part of this or even support these things Paul writes about, you need to ask Jesus for forgiveness and began following him. Oh, God and Jesus are the same today as they were when this was written. Do not minimize this part of God's word! Wickedness even gets worse:] 28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. --[There is terrible judgement on those who cause others to sin. Jesus says " Matthew 18:6->But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea." This is mentioned in three of the gospels and is a curse. You better know what you are talking about.] All of this is going on in America today. We do whatever it takes to get ahead. The courts have more interest in getting bad guys off then the good guy. If you don't believe me then why is it that a man who saves peoples lives with a gun by shooting the bad guy is more evil then the evil man who takes lives of the inocent with a gun. We are really messed up in this country. God's justice is about to come. Do not let our evil government fool into thinking it is going to always be this way. Moses was vanquished by the evil of Pharaoh 9 times while demonstrating the power of God. He never gave up because he knew our God was in charge. The tenth time was the clincher. The death of his son brought Pharaoh to his knees and he finally let the people go. God then used the Red sea to totally humiliate and weaken Pharaoh. Do not think that God cannot come against our modern day Pharaohs just because you think they are too powerful and the support of their evil dominions. God won then and he will WIN today. If we could only see what our God is up to, we would be flabbergasted. Remember we serve a just God and he is not going to let us down. His prophets confirm this is about to happen. Prepare to be awed when this happens. 07/24/2022 Psalm 119:60 (New Living Translation) I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands. Boy, I would love to say this was true for my life all the time. But a busy life can create delay. We were put on this earth to worship and serve God so lets not forget this. 07/19/2022 If you want to control people you create situations in peoples lives that make them afraid. This is being done today by our demonic government. If you don't believe me just think about them closing God's churches with a virus they created. They had everyone in chaotic fear. Our God will be bringing justice against them soon. You will see it happening by the midterm elections. The house cleaning has already begun. Fear is something that God never has to deal with and he wants us to trust in him that we to need to never experience fear. Both Joshua and Isaiah talk about conquering fear. Joshua 1:9 New Living Translation 9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Isaiah 41:10 (New Living Translation) Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Both verses says that God is standing with me as I go about my day serving him. In the last verse God is strengthening us and lifting us up. Check out the expression "my victorious right hand". I am sure his left hand is just as cool, but even Jesus Christ sits on the right hand of God. Today those who are on the left declare there is no God while serving Satan. Those of us on the right believe in God. But be careful that we serve him. We can become lukewarm and God will spit us out. He will then have to deal with us first. Continue to obey God and he will be there for every trial we may have to deal with. This is a promise for his children. 07/18/2022 How many times in life do we get into trouble because we do not listen. I have seen this on the highways where people head out into storms and get stranded when they were told to stay home. God tells us to stay away from things like pornography and we do not listen and get addicted to it. Listening may not be just hearing but also from reading God's word. The deaf listen by reading. When God speaks he can be drowned out by earthly things. We then have no idea when he is talking to us. We need to expect him to say something. When he says something then the next step is to JUST DO IT. James has a lot to say about this. James 1:19-27(New Living Translation) Listening and Doing 19 Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. [How many times does this get us into trouble? This is where the expression insert foot into mouth comes from.] 20 Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. 21 So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. [This may mean turning the TV off and start hanging around people who love God.The world filters out God's word with its word. ] 22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. [The church has fallen into this trap. Abortion, homosexuality, pedophilia and other sins are ignored because we do nothing about it. We do not want any turmoil in our lives so Let's ignore it. ] 25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. [See, there is Blessing when we remove what the world offers.] 26 If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. [Many times what comes out of our mouth is the only thing people see of Jesus in us and who he is. This is the hardest one to keep but is possible with the power of the Holy Spirit. If you are not born again it may be time for you to commit to this. JUST DO IT.] 27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. [This is when you begin to figure it all out.] As we listen to our King and do what he tells us, our life becomes this: Psalm 119:7 (New Living Translation) As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should! 07/14/2022 There is something to be said about listening and doing what our King asks of us: John 15:10 (New Living Translation) When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I was wondering about the expression "remains in his love" so I checked out another version: John 15:10 (King James Version) If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. Abide is a verb. It means accept or act in accordance with (a rule, decision, or recommendation). "I said I would abide by their decision" Check out the synonyms: comply with, obey, observe, follow, keep to, hold to, conform to, adhere to, stick to, stand by, act in accordance with, uphold, heed, pay attention to, agree to/with, consent to, accede to, accept, acquiesce in, go along with, acknowledge, respect, defer to Another reason why we need to listen to and obey our King is to conform to his love. 07/13/2022 It is cool to be successful. The drive for success can minimize our God. Do we see this in our day to day life: Psalm 19:1-2 (New Living Translation) The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. We should see God just like this verse shows. Even in great duress of near starvation, Jesus never lost focus of what his Father said: Matthew 4:4 (New Living Translation) But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Jesus Christ gave everything of himself for us and still honor the Father. Because of this: Philippians 2:9-11 (New Living Translation) Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. If the awesome God elevated Jesus to the highest honor, we should be placing him high up in our own lives. Proof of this happening is how we love other people and how we live our lives around others. Seeing the presence of Jesus should make us want to brag about him to other people like many who brag about people in the entertainment world. I tell you this that Jesus Christ cares about you enough to die for you. Those in the entertainment world have zero interest in you. If we don't honor Jesus, God has made this promise: Psalm 46:10 (New Living Translation) “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world." The same goes for Jesus. His name will be exalted everywhere: Zechariah 14:9 (New Living Translation) And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped. My life is the result of Jesus Christ's actions. He gets the Glory and the VIctory. I need to never forget this and live to please him. 07/12/2022 Do you feel like when you are working on doing things for God that what you are doing is insignificant. I will tell you that he is watching. We serve a big God: Jeremiah 32:17 (New Living Translation) “O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! To encourage us to keep going he has promises for us. Paul writes to the churches: Galatians 6:9 New Living Translation 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Philippians 1:6 (New Living Translation) And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Just remember you are appreciated by God if you are serving him. So do not give up. Do not expect the world to understand what you are doing. We only need to please Jesus Christ. This verse says it all: Hebrews 6:10 New Living Translation 10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. This is the King that loves us and that we need to continue to serve. Zechariah 14:9 (New Living Translation) And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped. 07/08/2022 One thing about it when our God speaks he means every word he says. He confirms this in this verse: Matthew 24:35 (New Living Translation) Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. This is also true with what is in his written word. God makes promises with his people and keeps them. When it was impossible for Abraham to have a son God made a promise with him that he would have one and he did. He then also promised that his descendants would be as numerous as the sand on a seashore. That also happened. And it did not matter what Abraham did. It was all because of the faith that Abraham had in God. David describes God and his promises: Psalm 18:30 (New Living Translation) God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. God Backs everything he says with his glorious name. Psalm 138:2 (New Living Translation) I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name. Some of God's promises are based upon what we do. God said if you honor your mother and father you will live a long life. In Malachi 3:10 he said that if you tithe to me I will blow the doors off your barn with all the bounty. This is the only place in the Bible where God asks to be tested. The only way that I have ever seen God back down from a promise is when we humble ourselves: 1 Kings 21:29 “Do you see how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has done this, I will not do what I promised during his lifetime. It will happen to his sons; I will destroy his dynasty.” In the story of Jonah after he told the people about their coming destruction, they repented and God spared them. But it is interesting that eventually the city would be destroyed later. In both scenarios the promise was kept but fulfilled later. If Jesus Christ is not Center Stage in our life, we cannot fully benefit from all of God's promises. So many of us want to isolate ourselves from God and do things our own way. Then we wonder why God's promises are not filled in our life. We have a free will and God will never force himself on us. When that happens His blessings over our life also disappear. The best way to get blessings out of life is to continually give our life over to Jesus Christ everyday. He really does want to bless us. 07/05/2022 One of the greatests myths is that man is good. God confirms that this is NOT true: Jeremiah 17:9-10 (New Living Translation) “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” God does search out impure hearts and will take us out if necessary to protect his children. Paul also confirmed Jeremiah: Romans 3:23-24 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. 24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit can actually make our hearts pure. I believe he can transform the heart to the point where sin loses its total control over our life. Paul confirms to Timothy that this can happen: 1 Timothy 1:5 The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith. All good things require work but the reward is worth it. Jesus Christ thought I was worth dying for. So why would it be any different for you? Let’s all strive for the pure heart. We can change people lives for him by the way we live. Plus we will get to experience love, a clear conscience and genuine faith from having a pure heart. I am so grateful that I was chosen to be worthy by Jesus Christ and I never want to forget that. The pilgrims in 1620's understood this. They made a covenant with God to run their government under biblical principles. This is different when God made a covenant with Abraham. In other words the pilgrims chose God where God chose Abraham. The covenant of the pilgrims and todays prayer warriors are bringing America back as a nation under God as it should be. David explains this concept: Psalm 33:12 (New Living Translation) What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. You just wait until you see what God is up to. We are living during the time when he is about to release his Glory. God's prophets will confirm what I am saying is about to happen. So get ready to see the greatest move of God ever! 07/04/2022 One of the greatests myths is that man is good. God expects us to develop those talents for him. Others will develop their talents to become the best in the world at what they can do. Does our attitude look like this when this happens: Luke 18:9-14 Parable of the Pharisee and Tax Collector 9 Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: 10 “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’ 13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ 14 I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Paul has more to say about this: Romans 3:23-24 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. 24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. He than give us a warning: Romans 12:3 (New Living Translation),Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. We need to keep our focus on Jesus Christ and remember that our talents are mainly to be used to glorify him, not to make money only for our selfish interests. Don't get me wrong, God desires to bless us as long as our heart is not like the Pharisee's heart.
