Isaiah foretold the same thing about Jesus a half a century before Jesus came. Isaiah 45:22-23 NLT 22 Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other. 23 I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word: Every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to me.” Jesus the Lord of lords!!!!!!! 07/12/2026 Have you ever wondered if those who walk close to Jesus if they face storms like those who do not have as tight of a relationship with Jesus Christ? The bible says we can face big storms even when Jesus is right next to us: Mark 4:35-41 NLT Jesus Calms the Storm 35 As evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” 36 So they took Jesus in the boat and started out, leaving the crowds behind (although other boats followed). 37 But soon a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat, and it began to fill with water.God has already told Jesus where he wants him to go next. 38 Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” 39 When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. 40 Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 The disciples were absolutely terrified. “Who is this man?” they asked each other. “Even the wind and waves obey him!” Peter remembered that day when Jesus was right next to him in that boat. He knew Jesus had the power of God at his disposal and he was not suicidal because he knew the storm was no match for the power of his Father. That is why he was not concerned. His disciple knew this but yet they had fear of the wind. All his disciples failed this test, but the power of God was demonstrated in this storm of life. This is reason why Peter said: 1 Peter 4:12-19 NLT Suffering for Being a Christian 12 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. 14 If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you. 15 If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs. 16 But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name! 17 For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News? 18 And also, “If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?” 19 So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you. Peter warns us of who helps makes these things happen! 1 Peter 5:8-9 NLT 8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are. The last verse mentions that you and I are not alone when it comes to storms. Peter wants to encourage us to endure them. What is so cool, is that true Christians that endure the harshest storms seem to have a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit more joy and peace then those of us who have not experienced storms at their level. What ever we do, do not follow the ways of the world. In the end there will only be heart ache. Matthew 16:24-28 NLT 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. 25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. 26 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds. 28 And I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.” I too believe that some of you just reading this comment will see Jesus come in his glory. Now what could be more cooler then that! 07/11/2026 It is cool when someone who you don't even know gives you a word from the bible that encourages you and it relates to what is going on in your life. You know it is from God. God has also shown me that this is not just for me. For many of you it will fit with your current walk with the Lord. Matthew 7:24-27 NLT Building on a Solid Foundation 24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” I firmly believe that Jesus wants me to not give up and continue to read God's word to reinforce that foundation to be unwavering. He is wanting many of you to do the same. Jesus is looking for a strong core of people. He wants us to watch and not fall into this trap. Jesus knows what can happen if our foundation is weak. 2 Timothy 3:2-4 NLT 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. Your salvation can be at risk if your foundation collapses. 07/10/2026 God gives us time to do hobbies or miscellaneous projects. But how many of us just give up that free time and say, "God, I want to worship you right now."? You then either start singing and/or begin praying by giving thanks to the Lord. In my ministry there is a place east of Denver called the "ghetto" that does just that. They give up their Saturday mornings to worship just because of their love for God. If you are like me, many times this never happens. I usually have something to do to preoccupy my mind. But when things start falling apart, God become real important just like this Psalm: Psalm 77:1-9 NLT 1 I cry out to God; yes, I shout. Oh, that God would listen to me! 2 When I was in deep trouble, I searched for the Lord. All night long I prayed, with hands lifted toward heaven, but my soul was not comforted. 3 I think of God, and I moan, overwhelmed with longing for his help. While we are waiting for God to respond on his timing, we start thinking and doing all of this this: 4 You don’t let me sleep. I am too distressed even to pray! 5 I think of the good old days, long since ended, 6 when my nights were filled with joyful songs. I search my soul and ponder the difference now. 7 Has the Lord rejected me forever? Will he never again be kind to me? 8 Is his unfailing love gone forever? Have his promises permanently failed? 9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he slammed the door on his compassion? God loves it when we give him attention. Many times, the bad things that happen to us are the only time we give him attention. Maybe, if we would give him more attention during good times, he would minimize our bad times. This is something to think about. 07/09/2026 Jeremiah 32:17 (NLT) “O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! Jeremiah was not entirely accurate here. If you read Genesis 1: Genesis 1:1 NLT The Account of Creation 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. I believe that God spoke everything into existence. The whole chapter says "God said". I also believe that he spoke these commands so all around him could hear what he was doing. This is the same reason God wants us to physically speak to him with our voices when asking. God does have a "strong hand and powerful arm" but his voice is just as powerful. There is no challenge to great for our God. He can fix anything in a blink of an eye. But God sometimes is testing our faith and we have to be "patient". Bummer! I do not like to wait. 07/07/2026 Psalm 18:30 (New Living Translation) God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. God is the only one who can see the entire picture. Since he only wants the best for us, he is going to give us the best plan to accomplishing anything he may have us do. Our God is a God of timing. The people did not believe Noah, when God told him that the Earth would be destroyed, if they did not repent. No one looked to God for protection during the days of Noah, and they perished. God never forces himself on anyone. We are to seek him. 07/06/2026 Have you ever thought about how important rich people are? They pay a good portion of the taxes of the country and if any of us receive a salary it is because of someone who has more money then you do. Poor people can basically take just care of their own needs. But poor people also learn to trust in God more quickly then people who have a lot. We all know this action of trust pleases God greatly. Then why did Jesus say all of this to the rich man if it is important to have people with wealth? Mark 10:17-27 NLT The Rich Man 17 As Jesus was starting out on his way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to him, knelt down, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good. 19 But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.’” 20 “Teacher,” the man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.” 21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22 At this the man’s face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions. 23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!” 24 This amazed them. But Jesus said again, “Dear children, it is very hard to enter the Kingdom of God. 25 In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” 26 The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. 27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” Even God has nothing against wealth. But he does ask us to tithe before his power will be displayed: Malachi 3:10-12 NLT 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! 11 Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 12 “Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Jesus is a master at reading hearts. He saw that the mans loyalty was to his money. That is why he asked him to give his money to the poor to show him where his loyalty was at. If God wanted us all to do this, God would not have the money to plant churches or anything else that God uses money for. Also, those of us who receive salaries would never get paid again. When God gives us his blessing of money, pay attention to what Timothy wrote: 1 Timothy 6:9-10 NLT 9 But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. As Spock would say "Live long and prosper" but he also should have said, "But do not let it go to your head." Focus on what God needs first with your money and let him do the rest when it comes to your finances. He knows where your loyalty lies. Many of us cannot multitask very well so we will either serve money or God. We cannot do both. Do not let "love of money" destroy your salvation. You can lose it. The enemy knows this and he loves to use money to deceive us into rejecting God. He even tried this on Jesus. Money is a great thing. But always think about the words of Timothy. Are you going to allow money to bless you or curse you? The enemy hopes you will not see his trap. 07/05/2026 Talking about having intimacy with our Lord God: /wp-content/uploads/movies/RevelationSong-KariJobe.mp4 [Verse 1] Worthy is the Lamb who was slain Holy, holy is He Sing a new song to Him who sits on Heaven's mercy seat Worthy is the Lamb who was slain Holy, holy is He We sing a new song to Him who sits on Heaven's mercy seat [Chorus] Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You [Verse 2] Clothed in rainbows of living color Flashes of lightning, rolls of thunder Blessing and honor, strength and glory and power be To You the only wise King [Chorus] Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You (I will adore You, oh) [Bridge] Filled with wonder, awestruck wonder At the mention of Your Name Jesus, Your Name is power, breath and living water Such a marvelous mystery, oh You're worthy, mystery You are worthy [Chorus] Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You [Outro] I will adore You 07/04/2026 David gets into God at a higher level of intimacy then I do: Psalm 63:1-8 New Living Translation A psalm of David, regarding a time when David was in the wilderness of Judah. 1 O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. It sure looks like David has been to Colorado. There is no water here either. I am weak in this area but there are people who have this figured out. One guy wrote the hymn, "It is Well in My Soul" . I need to be on fire for God like this man who wrote this song. 2 I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. 3 Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! 4 I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. 5 You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. Everyone needs to get involved in a ministry to truly see our God for who he is and to see his power and glory in action. His love makes life worth while. Give him praise too. I do have to admit I do not lift my hands or sing while praying. But maybe I should start. 6 I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night. 7 Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings. 8 I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely. Even though I think about the things of God a lot throughout the day, I have to admit that I have not attempted to meditate on God through the night. I usually just fall asleep. I am not big into singing but when you ponder things you begin to realize how much he protects us. It is sad to say but God clings to me more then I cling to him. He does have a strong right hand which is needed to keep me on track. Holy Spirit teach me to love God like David does. This is where true joy comes from. 07/03/2026 If America could only understand this and take this message to heart: Proverbs 14:34 NLT Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people. Maybe that day will come. Everyone play it safe on this 4th of July weekend. Do not leave God out of anything you do. He wants to even be part of your fun as long as it is clean. 07/02/2026 Jeremiah 17:9-10 NLT “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” This is a powerful verse that is referenced quite often. How many of us question the last part of this verse? After all we see evil everywhere and God seems to be doing just the opposite of what we think should happen to those people. This verse does not say if we can witness what God's reaction is on this earth or if they will be spending eternity in hell. The important part of this verse is our hearts that are being examined. We need to imitate Jesus in the flesh now and not worry about what other people are getting away with. I do not want to be in their shoes on judgement day. 07/01/2026 Romans 12:3 NLT Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. So this means that I am not God's gift to the world. Dang! Oh thats right, John 3:16 said that Jesus is God's gift to the world. That title fits him so much more than it does me. Jesus is Lord!!!!!!!! 06/30/2026 In chapter 14 of Zechariah it talks about the condition of Jerusalem because of her sin against God.: Zechariah 14:1-2 NLT The Lord Will Rule the Earth 14 Watch, for the day of the Lord is coming when your possessions will be plundered right in front of you! 2 I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the population will be taken into captivity, and the rest will be left among the ruins of the city. One of the reasons why God wants us to read his word is that we do not make the same mistakes of the past generations. When we get too self-reliant and stupid we believe it will never happen to us. We just flat out reject God. No wonder God gets angry. The people who bring judgement on us by God's calling soon fall into the same trap. God then turn his judgement on them. What God is about to do next is a long time coming! Zechariah 14:9 NLT And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped. Could you imagine our God being recognized as the only Lord and the only one worth being worshiped in the entire earth. I wonder if you and I will get to see it happen in our life time. I do not know of a time in history when the entire world worshiped our God at the same time. This gives you something to ponder on. You are right there will always be those who rebel against God. Zechariah talks more about what God is going to do to them. God is going to get his honor and rightful position on the throne. Those who continue to stay connected to Jesus will probably never fall into this trap. Daniel was an example of someone who lived for God. Even though he was innocent, he still was exiled. That is why it is so important for people to know Jesus so we do not lose God's protection on our nation. Do not let the 250 year celebration of our nation be the last one because of our complacency. 06/29/2026 This one makes me think of president Trump again. Trump lives every day facing what David is talking about: Psalm 59 1 Rescue me from my enemies, O God. Protect me from those who have come to destroy me. 2 Rescue me from these criminals; save me from these murderers. 3 They have set an ambush for me. Fierce enemies are out there waiting, Lord, though I have not sinned or offended them. 4 I have done nothing wrong, yet they prepare to attack me. Wake up! See what is happening and help me! 5 O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, wake up and punish those hostile nations. Show no mercy to wicked traitors. Have any of you ever thought about telling God to wake up. David said it twice. It is like saying, "God, I have a problem here and you need to fix it right now." I am glad that God protected David throughout his life. I want the same treatment for President Trump too. 6 They come out at night, snarling like vicious dogs as they prowl the streets. 7 Listen to the filth that comes from their mouths; their words cut like swords. “After all, who can hear us?” they sneer. 8 But Lord, you laugh at them. You scoff at all the hostile nations. 9 You are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me, for you, O God, are my fortress. 10 In his unfailing love, my God will stand with me. He will let me look down in triumph on all my enemies. Lately, they are becoming more vicious towards our president. I too ask God to respond like David asked him. 11 Don’t kill them, for my people soon forget such lessons; stagger them with your power, and bring them to their knees, O Lord our shield. 12 Because of the sinful things they say, because of the evil that is on their lips, let them be captured by their pride, their curses, and their lies. 13 Destroy them in your anger! Wipe them out completely! Then the whole world will know that God reigns in Israel. There seems to be a little confusion here David asks God not to kill them then he want them destroyed. Do you think our indecision prevents God from answering our prayers quickly? 14 My enemies come out at night, snarling like vicious dogs as they prowl the streets. 15 They scavenge for food but go to sleep unsatisfied. 16 But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. 17 O my Strength, to you I sing praises, for you, O God, are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love. Do you notice that at the end of every psalm that David always finishes by honoring the name of our God. 06/29/2026 2 Peter 3:9 NLT The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. You know what this means, I am going to have to continue to learn how to be patient until God's prudent plans are fulfilled. God really does not want to send people to hell. But, as in the time of Noah, time will run out. An entire population was wiped out because of their refusal to repent. There is no better time to accept Jesus then now! 06/28/2026 If you are like me you try to stay away from things that bring discomfort to our lives. But we are not to avoid growing our faith and loving God and his people because of fear of being attacked by the enemy. Paul talks about what happens when we give it our all: 2 Thessalonians 1:3-10 NLT Encouragement during Persecution 3 Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. 4 We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering. 5 And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering. 6 In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you. [We will even have people thank us just because we live for Jesus. If we endure Paul describes what God will do for us and those who persecute you:] 7 And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power. 10 When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people—praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about him. Just remember our life here on earth is temporary but his Kingdom is eternal. Lets stockpile our treasure there inside his Kingdom. 06/27/2026 Did David come and visit the states of California, Colorado, and New York? He sure did describe what is going on today in the leadership of these states. We know the snowflakes have control of each of these states governments. David sees the hearts of these people.Psalm 58 NLT 1 Justice do you rulers[b] know the meaning of the word? Do you judge the people fairly? 2 No! You plot injustice in your hearts. You spread violence throughout the land. 3 These wicked people are born sinners; even from birth they have lied and gone their own way. 4 They spit venom like deadly snakes; they are like cobras that refuse to listen, 5 ignoring the tunes of the snake charmers, no matter how skillfully they play. I am in agreement with David in how this problem should be handled. 6 Break off their fangs, O God! Smash the jaws of these lions, O Lord ! 7 May they disappear like water into thirsty ground. Make their weapons useless in their hands.[c] 8 May they be like snails that dissolve into slime, like a stillborn child who will never see the sun. 9 God will sweep them away, both young and old, faster than a pot heats over burning thorns. I too believe this next thing can happen. 10 The godly will rejoice when they see injustice avenged. They will wash their feet in the blood of the wicked. 11 Then at last everyone will say, "There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth." I would love to see Colorado and those other states free from abortion. I am tired of these people reading what God says and doing just the opposite. Yes Lord, avenge the injustice of what they are doing to you and the people around them. Honor President Trumps desire to show ID's before voting to eliminate the fraud in our elections. 06/24/2026 Both David and Paul have seen it:Psalm 53:1-3 NLT1 Only fools say in their hearts,“There is no God.”They are corrupt, and their actions are evil;not one of them does good! 2 God looks down from heavenon the entire human race;he looks to see if anyone is truly wise,if anyone seeks God.3 But no, all have turned away;all have become corrupt. No one does good, not a single one! Paul has the answer that solves this problem.Romans 3:23-26 NLT23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. 25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.Truly only Jesus has what it takes to get out of this mess. As Billy Graham said, "Come as you are. Jesus wants to change your life forever." Jesus came to give us options David did not have. 06/23/2026 Paul has given good advice to the Thessalonian church that we should also follow. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-19 NLT Paul’s Final Advice 12 Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. 13 Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. And live peacefully with each other. Our pastors if they are truly doing God's work need our respect. I feel the same respect should be given to those who lead with our interest at heart too. 14 Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone. Many of us are lazy when it comes to God. How many of us will get offended if we are called on it. How do we call someone lazy in love? This is something to think about. Not everyone may have the confidence you have, encourage them. There is that dirty word again. Patience seem to want to disappear in my life. Jesus Christ is a master at keeping it. 15 See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. Our God is a just judge. We should let him handle revenge. What would it be like if God would judge us as fast as we would do other people who do stuff against us? You are right, we all would be toast. If we mimic the worlds way of doing things, we are no better then they are. 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. If you ever asked the question, "What is God's will for me?" This is definitely the start.I have had certain tests that took away my joy. Then I really had no desire to pray. This followed me not wanting to thank God for any of this. Boy, I sure failed this one. I know this one pleases God the most. God loves gratitude and thanksgiving. 19 Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. When you tell this guy to take a hike, you cannot walk in power or feel the presence of God.When this dude hangs around you he wants to get to work. There are no limits in what he may do next. 06/22/2026 Here is the first step in becoming successful and pleasing God at the same time: 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 NLT 11 Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. 12 Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others. You can learn more when it is quiet. There are a lot less distractions. When you try to medal in other peoples business, you do not have time to take care of your own. Almost everything that is worth anything was created by people using their hands. People will always be watching you. Why not set a good example towards other people. You really only have two options: Please the Lord or be a jerk. When you put your hands to work and show people that you are not a jerk. They will want what you produce and you will not have to depend on others all the time. We still need each other. God designed it this way! Make sure Jesus is part of any goal you set for yourself. You get much better results if his name is honored before men.
