We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. Americans are being mislead at every turn. They spend more money on pleasure then any nation in the world. Sex is used to make Americans spend even more money. If you look, you will see the business practices and thefts that occur each day because of envy and hatred against successful people. Then you have governments like California, Colorado, and New York who live to waste your tax dollars. All this stems when Jesus is not the center of your life. I probably have not matured entirely out of this phase because I still do foolish things from time to time. As believers we need the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to minimize foolishness. But when Jesus enters the picture everything begins to change. Titus 3:4-7 NLT 4 But - When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, 5 he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. 6 He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. 7 Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. With Jesus there is contentment, love, and compassion. America needs Jesus more then ever. He does not require perfection to become part of your life. He just wants you to begin living like him when he transforms your life away from Titus 3:3. 07/31/2026 I am a firm believer that all men should be free to worship our King an any manner that pleases him. There is no place in the bible that talks about slavery being wrong except when you mistreat people like Egypt did to the Jews. That greatly angered God. He demonstrated his power by destroying a nation. No one that I know of has ever talked about what God's word says on the slavery topic. Jesus came as a slave: Philippians 2:7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, Jesus said in order to be top dog you need to be a slave to men like he was: Matthew 20:27 and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. Paul said this multiple times. This one drives the snowflakes crazy: Ephesians 6:5 Slaves and Masters Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. Colossians 3:22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything you do. Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. Serve them sincerely because of your reverent fear of the Lord. 1 Timothy 6:1-2 All slaves should show full respect for their masters so they will not bring shame on the name of God and his teaching. 2 If the masters are believers, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. Those slaves should work all the harder because their efforts are helping other believers who are well loved. Titus 2:9 Slaves must always obey their masters and do their best to please them. They must not talk back. 1 Peter 2:18 You who are slaves must submit to your masters with all respect. Do what they tell you - not only if they are kind and reasonable, but even if they are cruel. When you rule over people never forget this to prevent the wrath of God against you: Ephesians 6:9 Masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Don't threaten them; remember, you both have the same Master in heaven, and he has no favorites Colossians 4:1 Masters, be just and fair to your slaves. Remember that you also have a Master in heaven. When men control you, that is disgusting, but when our addictions control us this is good. All I see is destruction in addictions to the bitter end. At least as a slave I may get an honorable master. Sin does nothing but destroy. Peter says it all: 2 Peter 2:19 They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you. Even in the end times God talks about slaves being around: Revelation 13:16 He required everyone - small and great, rich and poor, free and slave - to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. God himself would rather have all men free. I too do not in any way want to get slavery started again, but the motto of this story is - "You should find out what God says about things before calling anything repulsive." If slavery is so repulsive why did the apostles start their letters with the phrase "a slave of Jesus Christ." 07/30/2026 When you chose your friends, do you examine their hearts to see how much they oppose God in their views. In this next election are you going to vote based on how much they follow the principles of God. You will always find faults and problems in anyone you meet. Titus tells us to examine people's hearts before supporting anyone. Titus 1:15-16 NLT 15 Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16 Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good. God despises the way you think when it does not line up with the way he thinks. Even if you think a person has good ideas, run from them if they oppose the ideals of God. If you want to anger Jesus, keep voting and hanging around detestable people. If God calls you to witness to these people, God believes that their hearts can be changed. I love godly people because not only are their views more in line with Gods and mine, they have wisdom from the Holy Spirit that makes me want to hang around them. I would love to meet many of you who love the Lord. I bet you are pretty cool. 07/29/2026 Jesus identifies himself as the "light of the world": John 8:12 NLT Jesus, the Light of the World Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life." Jesus also said this about us who love Him: Matthew 5:14-16 NLT 14 "You are the light of the world, like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father." That light we give out by how we live will praise our heavenly Father. At the same time this same light either makes the enemy run or come unglued in your presence. Those who serve dead god's never experience this because their lights have been extinguished. The world will probably even call you cool. People who love the Lord in my opinion are the coolest, plus Jesus holds the keys to my salvation. As Joshua says, Joshua 24:15 But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord. 07/28/2026 Do you have what it takes to be an elder of a God fearing church? As I was reading, it looked like how we should all be living already under Jesus. I thought that I did meet the requirements until I closely read them: Titus 1:6-9 NLT 6 An elder must live a blameless life. He must be faithful to his wife, and his children must be believers who don'''t have a reputation for being wild or rebellious. 7 A church leader is a manager of God'''s household, so he must live a blameless life. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered; he must not be a heavy drinker, violent, or dishonest with money. 8 Rather, he must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must love what is good. He must live wisely and be just. He must live a devout and disciplined life. 9 He must have a strong belief in the trustworthy message he was taught; then he will be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong. The two words I highlighted, I did some research on. AI said the biblical definition of "blameless" is: In the Bible, blameless means having complete moral integrity, living with wholehearted obedience to God, and standing free from a charge of wrongdoing, rather than being completely sinless. I believe that I have all those characteristics. "Quick-tempered" is where I got fired. James says: James 3:7-11 NLT 7 People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, 8 but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. 10 And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! 11 Does a spring of water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water? At times, I have been guilty of this last one, but I am never giving up. I want to be eligible for this job if I am ever needed. You may have other areas where you fall short. Maybe we can work these things out together! 07/27/2026 If only America would come back to her roots like the pilgrims did when they made a covenant with God. Society puts less value on God as we get wrapped up in things that quiet the voice of God. Psalm 95:7-11 NLT 7 for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! 8 The Lord says, "Don'''t harden your hearts as Israel did at Meribah, as they did at Massah in the wilderness. 9 For there your ancestors tested and tried my patience, even though they saw everything I did. 10 For forty years I was angry with them, and I said, 'They are a people whose hearts turn away from me. They refuse to do what I tell them.' 11 So in my anger I took an oath: 'They will never enter my place of rest.'" America is definitely not a place of rest today. She is a place of violence and really has little interest in God. You would think her days would be over but I have heard from God's prophets that God is still going to have his way with her. President Trump coined the word "MAGA" but God already had plans to implement it before President Trump came up with it. When God's glory is revealed, just wait and see what God has planned for America. The enemy will hate it because he is going down, but those who truly love God are going to love it. I sure am glad that "Jesus is Lord!!!!!!!" 07/26/2026 After going through the covid scamdemic without getting it and people in the ghetto still praying psalm 91 over my life, I think this is the greatest psalm ever when it comes to our protection. It has been a long time since I have been very sick because of the power of this chapter: Psalm 91 NLT 1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. David talks about God first who can give us rest. He wants to make sure we know it is God who is doing this. 5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. 6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. 8 Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. Covid was a bad thing and many people died while I went through it basically untouched. God can keep you from any disease or chem trails that try to kill us. I hear more and more about the evil that went on during this period. It is all being exposed. The next section talks about God sending angels to protect our families. 9 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. 11 For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! Wow! After sending his angels to us he has the following promises too. 14 The Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. 15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. 16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation." For those who truly love him, look at all the wonderful things God promises to do for us! Take him up on his word! 07/24/2026 It must of been frustrating for Paul to write this last letter to Timothy from prison. When you have so much to say for someone you love so much, it would be nice to do it face to face. Paul wanted Timothy to stay on track: 2 Timothy 4:3-8 NLT 3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths. First he wants Timothy to be alert. The enemy is a master of deception and he gets us to listen to false information easily.Make an effort to recognize the truth even if it hurts.Isn't chasing a myth like waiting for the sun to rise in the west. Shouldn't we want what is real. 5 But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. 6 As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. 8 And now the prize awaits me - the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing. Paul and Peter both went through suffering and the result made them who they are. God published their writings as a part of his word. They both could tell you when their minds were not clear because of distractions. I loved the way Paul looked at his life and said, "I have fought the good fight." He knew where he was going and was leaving Timothy in charge. Paul also said, "They same prize is available to us who love Jesus and are waiting on his appearance." We too have something to look forward to. Jesus, Paul and Peter all knew when their time was about to expire. I myself am grateful that I do not know the day. I am sure it would be a distraction from the things God has for me to do. I would probably try to do some bucket list things. The unknown can be peaceful and I still know that I am his. 07/23/2026 Jesus definitely loves children. He would drop everything for them. He loves the way they trust and believe in things. They don't challenge everything like adults do except when it comes to the free lunch which does not exist. Someone always has to pay. Matthew 19:14 (NLT) But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children." If we say anything to our kids that removes that trust and hope in our Lord, watch out for the wrath of our King. Always encourage kids to continues to trust in the Lord and don't belittle their dreams. Those dreams may change the world some day! 07/22/2026 Here are another set of verses people abuse so they do not have to stand up for godly values: 2 Timothy 2:23-26 NLT 23 Again I say, don't get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. Paul uses the adjectives foolish & ignorant. If it does not matter to our King do not get involved with it. 24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. I do have to admit that quarreling never looks godly. we must use tact whenever we discuss things with people. Paul says we have the ability to teach people the things we have learned already about Jesus. Oh, there is that word again "patient". This is a hard one when you are dealing with snowflakes. 25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will learn the truth. 26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil's trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants. Paul tells us to go against those who oppose the truth. He emphasizes "gently". How we approach this can either be salvation or hell for people. We need to stand for God's truth no matter what. Do it in a manner that would make Jesus proud! We all need to ask the Holy Spirit to give us the right words and right tone to confront people who are lost. 07/21/2026 Paul comes up with some amazing quotes even with chains on him. I probably would not think about writing anything in his condition. Yet, all things are possible with the conviction of the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 2:9-13 NLT 9 And because I preach this Good News, I am suffering and have been chained like a criminal. But the word of God cannot be chained. 10 So I am willing to endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal glory in Christ Jesus to those God has chosen. 11 This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with him, we will also live with him. 12 If we endure hardship, we will reign with him. If we deny him, he will deny us. Jesus even said this in Matthew 10:32-33 NLT 32 Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. 13 If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is. Jesus will never run from who he is. Jesus is Lord!!!!!! 07/19/2026 God tell us that fear does not exist in his vocabulary: 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Why is when God takes us out of our comfort zone, we many times are like David, Asaph, and Heman in Psalms. I already wrote about David having his moment. This excerpt is from Heman during one of his trials: Psalm 88:1-10 NLT 1 O Lord, God of my salvation, I cry out to you by day. I come to you at night. 2 Now hear my prayer; listen to my cry. 3 For my life is full of troubles, and deathb draws near. 4 I am as good as dead, like a strong man with no strength left. 5 They have left me among the dead, and I lie like a corpse in a grave. I am forgotten, cut off from your care. 6 You have thrown me into the lowest pit, into the darkest depths. 7 Your anger weighs me down; with wave after wave you have engulfed me. Interlude 8 You have driven my friends away by making me repulsive to them. I am in a trap with no way of escape. 9 My eyes are blinded by my tears. Each day I beg for your help, O Lord; I lift my hands to you for mercy. 10 Are your wonderful deeds of any use to the dead? Do the dead rise up and praise you? Why do we feel this way when Jesus says, Matthew 28:20 NLT Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Could it be because of sin in our life? Do we try to control everything not asking what God wants? Do we not trust what God's word says and truly believe God has abandoned us. Or are you like me not wanting to wait on God's timing to get through the trial. After all, I want out of this now! God still sit on the throne and Jesus is right by him on the right, of course. I have heard stories of Jesus having a one to one relationship with people who are held hostage from learning about him in Muslim countries. They do not know Jesus but he makes time that they know who he is. He surely would do the same for us in our time of need too. 07/18/2026 How many of us listen to what the Holy Spirit says. He was sent by Jesus after he ascended to the Father. The Holy Spirit was sent to make it harder for the enemy to deceive us and to help us live the life Jesus desires. Nobody can pray for each of us like the Holy Spirit does: Galatians 5:16 NLT Living by the Spirit’s Power So, I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Ephesians 4:30 And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. 1 John 2:27 But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. When we ignore the Spirit, this may happen to us. /wp-content/uploads/holySpiritFail.mp4 07/14/2026 Jesus and Satan have a discussion as to who is the better programmer. This goes on for a few hours until they come to an agreement to hold a contest, with God as the judge. They sit themselves at their computers and begin. They type furiously, lines of code streaming up the screen, for several hours straight. Seconds before the end of the competition, a bolt of lightning strikes, taking out the electricity. Moments later, the power is restored, and God announces that the contest is over. He asks Satan to show what he has come up with. Satan is visibly upset, and cries, “I have nothing. I lost it all when the power went out.” “Very well, then,” says God, “let us see if Jesus fared any better.” Jesus enters a command, and the screen comes to life in vivid display, the voices of an angelic choir pour forth from the speakers. Satan is astonished. He stutters, “B-b-but how? I lost everything, yet Jesus’ program is intact. How did he do it?” God smiled all-knowingly, “Jesus saves.” 07/13/2026 Man, Jesus sure has earned this title by a landslide: Philippians 2:9-11 (NLT) Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Isaiah foretold the same thing about Jesus a half a century before Jesus came. Isaiah 45:22-23 NLT 22 Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other. 23 I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word: Every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to me.” Jesus the Lord of lords!!!!!!! 07/12/2026 Have you ever wondered if those who walk close to Jesus if they face storms like those who do not have as tight of a relationship with Jesus Christ? The bible says we can face big storms even when Jesus is right next to us: Mark 4:35-41 NLT Jesus Calms the Storm 35 As evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” 36 So they took Jesus in the boat and started out, leaving the crowds behind (although other boats followed). 37 But soon a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat, and it began to fill with water.God has already told Jesus where he wants him to go next. 38 Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” 39 When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. 40 Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 The disciples were absolutely terrified. “Who is this man?” they asked each other. “Even the wind and waves obey him!” Peter remembered that day when Jesus was right next to him in that boat. He knew Jesus had the power of God at his disposal and he was not suicidal because he knew the storm was no match for the power of his Father. That is why he was not concerned. His disciple knew this but yet they had fear of the wind. All his disciples failed this test, but the power of God was demonstrated in this storm of life. This is reason why Peter said: 1 Peter 4:12-19 NLT Suffering for Being a Christian 12 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. 14 If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you. 15 If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs. 16 But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name! 17 For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News? 18 And also, “If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?” 19 So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you. Peter warns us of who helps makes these things happen! 1 Peter 5:8-9 NLT 8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are. The last verse mentions that you and I are not alone when it comes to storms. Peter wants to encourage us to endure them. What is so cool, is that true Christians that endure the harshest storms seem to have a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit more joy and peace then those of us who have not experienced storms at their level. What ever we do, do not follow the ways of the world. In the end there will only be heart ache. Matthew 16:24-28 NLT 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. 25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. 26 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds. 28 And I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.” I too believe that some of you just reading this comment will see Jesus come in his glory. Now what could be more cooler then that! 07/11/2026 It is cool when someone who you don't even know gives you a word from the bible that encourages you and it relates to what is going on in your life. You know it is from God. God has also shown me that this is not just for me. For many of you it will fit with your current walk with the Lord. Matthew 7:24-27 NLT Building on a Solid Foundation 24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” I firmly believe that Jesus wants me to not give up and continue to read God's word to reinforce that foundation to be unwavering. He is wanting many of you to do the same. Jesus is looking for a strong core of people. He wants us to watch and not fall into this trap. Jesus knows what can happen if our foundation is weak. 2 Timothy 3:2-4 NLT 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. Your salvation can be at risk if your foundation collapses. 07/10/2026 God gives us time to do hobbies or miscellaneous projects. But how many of us just give up that free time and say, "God, I want to worship you right now."? You then either start singing and/or begin praying by giving thanks to the Lord. In my ministry there is a place east of Denver called the "ghetto" that does just that. They give up their Saturday mornings to worship just because of their love for God. If you are like me, many times this never happens. I usually have something to do to preoccupy my mind. But when things start falling apart, God become real important just like this Psalm: Psalm 77:1-9 NLT 1 I cry out to God; yes, I shout. Oh, that God would listen to me! 2 When I was in deep trouble, I searched for the Lord. All night long I prayed, with hands lifted toward heaven, but my soul was not comforted. 3 I think of God, and I moan, overwhelmed with longing for his help. While we are waiting for God to respond on his timing, we start thinking and doing all of this this: 4 You don’t let me sleep. I am too distressed even to pray! 5 I think of the good old days, long since ended, 6 when my nights were filled with joyful songs. I search my soul and ponder the difference now. 7 Has the Lord rejected me forever? Will he never again be kind to me? 8 Is his unfailing love gone forever? Have his promises permanently failed? 9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he slammed the door on his compassion? God loves it when we give him attention. Many times, the bad things that happen to us are the only time we give him attention. Maybe, if we would give him more attention during good times, he would minimize our bad times. This is something to think about. 07/09/2026 Jeremiah 32:17 (NLT) “O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! Jeremiah was not entirely accurate here. If you read Genesis 1: Genesis 1:1 NLT The Account of Creation 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. I believe that God spoke everything into existence. The whole chapter says "God said". I also believe that he spoke these commands so all around him could hear what he was doing. This is the same reason God wants us to physically speak to him with our voices when asking. God does have a "strong hand and powerful arm" but his voice is just as powerful. There is no challenge to great for our God. He can fix anything in a blink of an eye. But God sometimes is testing our faith and we have to be "patient". Bummer! I do not like to wait. 07/07/2026 Psalm 18:30 (New Living Translation) God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. God is the only one who can see the entire picture. Since he only wants the best for us, he is going to give us the best plan to accomplishing anything he may have us do. Our God is a God of timing. The people did not believe Noah, when God told him that the Earth would be destroyed, if they did not repent. No one looked to God for protection during the days of Noah, and they perished. God never forces himself on anyone. We are to seek him.
